Hey I’m 21nb, I write in third person past tense. This is going to be super niche, but with the release of a new Kung Fu Panda movie I hope to find my people!
I have rewatched the first film and I am obsessed with the angsty dynamic between Shifu and Tai Lung. It’s just so beautifully tragic, I’d love to explore it with someone. I would prefer to write as Shifu, I have a thing for writing terrible fathers that try their best, but still disappoint their kids.
I have several plot ideas. We could do one before Tai Lung went on a rampage after not being given the dragon scroll, or a plot where Tai Lung escapes prison before the dragon warrior is chosen and confronts Shifu, or a plot that takes place after the first movie where Tai Lung isn’t killed. I have more smaller plot ideas as well, but I’ll discuss those in messages to not make this too long!
Even though I’m looking for a family plot, if anyone wants to take the incest route I am down for it too! I have a Shifu grooming Tai Lung plot already ready for the that one.

Greetings! My name is Michael / Scalie, I’m 23, CST, He / They / Them, looking for those interested in a 1x1 self insert OC x canon hurt / comfort found family type of plot.

This is going to be a massive longshot, but I recently rewatched Kung Fu Panda, and it threw me back into fixating on the Tigress/Tai Lung pairing.
If you're uncomfortable with it, we can leave out the part that they're technically adopted siblings, I'm completely fine leaving it out.
I don't have a plot planned, so we can plan for one.

not typically! i definitely do sometimes, but i find that music is actually really distracting for me when i do anything creative. most of the time, i put on long video essays or movies i've seen before and just listen to those as background noise. i find writing in silence to be pretty difficult, but music doesn't work for me.
fun fact, for years one of my go-to background noise movies to write to is kung fu panda. i am not kidding.

i'm one of those people who has pretty fickle muse at times, but honestly. the best circumstances for me to write in are when i have a chance to curl up somewhere warm and zone out to some background noise. i also find that outlining my replies in advance really helps, especially for long ones, so i try to do that when actually writing is a struggle.
also, long replies are actually a lot easier for me than short replies most of the time, haha!

if i'm trying to write a reply that's not working out, i do usually take a step back and try another day. that's actually one reason i'm so slow LMAO. i really struggle to completely scrap my own writing, even if it's not working, so i don't usually scrap replies that aren't working.... but it does take me time to really work through them.
i'm trying to get better at killing my darlings, for lack of a better way to put it :'p

i think i might not fully understand this question, but i've been having trouble properly tracking my thread count for a few months now, so i guess mentally i'm better at keeping track of the ones i owe replies to? i need to sit down and make a new tracker sometime soon.

Been on Tumblr for six months as of two days ago. I figure if I mainly reblog then my actual posts are going to get somewhat crowded. This is also for the ————–——— (hello, you lovely) people who follow me. Maybe I’m just random enough to keep a slight eye on or we share similar weird thought processes. Roleplay-wise, I do it lightly in the “got isekai’d to Legends” and currently am traveling the many timelines.
Sometimes I visit other universes confusing many people along the way. Have to be careful so no one recreates Pokemon in the non-pokemon ones. Timelines share very similar elements while universes have different settings like Fallout compared to Minecraft.
