The front door opens and Haru is about to call out a greeting when he catches sight of Rei talking on his phone as he shuts the door and kicks off his shoes.
“Please, tell me,” Rei says as he taps his shoes into place with his foot and almost throws his messenger bag into the closet. “Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?”
Haru blinks a few times before settling down onto the couch. This should be good. Rei is in a mood. Haru can only wonder if it’s the kind that will taper off, all thunder and lightning and no rain, or if the house is about to be the eye of the hurricane, eerily still while the world crashes around them at the mercy of Rei’s rage.
“Okay no. If I wouldn’t be selling my dick to the damn Devil to do it I’d happily fuck Sugawara six ways to Sunday and then some. But even I have more self-preservation skills than Makoto. And I willingly work with Momotarou and Ryuunosuke. So that’s saying something.”
Haru snorts softly. There are a lot of them that would happily fuck Sugawara six ways to Sunday and back. But none of them want to deal with the combined forces of Tsukishima and Iwaizumi after the fact. Except, apparently, Makoto.
“Him? No. Kou, honestly. I don’t even have the time of day for that overly conceited fuckwit.” Rei yanks off his jacket and stuffs it in the closet.
Ah. He’s chatting with Kou. That explains the lack of filter. Rei spends so much of his time being polite and neat and put together that he rarely lets his guard down. Kou is the only other person that Haru knows of that Rei has absolutely no filter around. The only other person who knows just how filthy his mouth can be.
He glances at the other end of the couch and mentally shrugs. Well. She was the only other person.
“Kou. I know you can take care of yourself. But honestly. Today? He crossed a line. Oikawa is a useless, cocksucking, gaseous feces filled skin sack. With the goddamned intellect of a motherfucking toddler on a sugar high who just discovered their parent's secret stash of cocaine and mainlined that shit like a they were possessed by the spirit of Gluttony itself.”
“Wow,” Seijuurou breathes out. He’s clearly trying to process all the words, to compare this Rei with whatever Rei is in his mind that he’s known the last few years. “Okay. That was. Some strong language.”
Rei freezes in the doorway and glares at Haru. Haru simply shrugs.
“Fuck me,” Rei bites out. “No,” he adds into the phone. “Not you. Haruka apparently has company. I’ll talk to you later.”
“Wow,” Seijuurou repeats as Rei ends the call.
“I am allowed to swear in my own home.” Rei’s voice is as tense as his shoulders are when he crosses his arms and stares at them.
“Fuck yeah you are,” Seijuurou agrees. “I just didn’t expect it to make me want to drop to me knees and blow you. I get what Haru meant when he said your mouth is one of the things that does it for him.”
“Haruka!” Rei’s glare zeroes in on him and Haru, once again, shrugs. There is absolutely no remorse in his body right now. He finds his boyfriend hot as fuck when he swears.
“Well it does,” he drawls out as he settles even deeper into the couch. “You know I enjoy it. No shame in that.”
“Okay but why were you even discussing that with him?”
“What the hell are we supposed to talk about when we're drunk and trying to ignore Nagisa and Momotarou making out two feet away from us?” Haru glances at Seijuurou for support and gets it in the form of Seijuurou nodding eagerly. “To be fair you’re the one who wandered off and left us alone at Iwaizumi’s that night.”
Seijuurou shudders. “I do not need to see my brother's tongue in someone's mouth ever again in my life.”
“Fuck,” Rei whispers, clearly done with this conversation.
“I mean.” Seijuurou glances between them. “I’m down for it if you are.”
Rei blinks a few times, then sighs. “What the absolute fuck is my life?”
“From what Haru says, full of really, really great sex.” Seijuurou grins. “Sex that I would totally be okay with participating in if you’d be amenable to that.”
It’s not anything they’ve talked about in depth but Haru can see Rei running it through his head, turning it this way and that, playing out all the angles. Rei’s gaze slides from Seijuurou to Haru.
Then he smiles, syrupy sweet.
Looks like Rei’s rage is shifting into a long, drawn out storm, anticipation clinging to Haru’s skin like humid summer air; Haru’s favorite kind of storm to weather.

“Alright, do you three think you can handle this box? It’s kind of heavy,” Bokuto asked, picking up one of the final boxes from the back of the moving truck.
“Yes, Papa!”
“Okay, you three. Show me your big strong muscles first. I gotta make sure you’re strong enough.” He lifted his arm, flexing his bicep to show off his toned muscles, flashing his kids a bright smile.
The triplets all raised their arms, copying their father’s pose to prove that they were more than strong enough to carry your box of clothes into the house. Bokuto hummed as he looked at them, nodding slightly at the sight of their five year-old noodle arms. “Dang, you guys must’ve been working out. You look stronger than me! Okay, can you take this box into Papa’s room?” He asks, leaning down to hand the kids the box.
Three heads nodded vigorously as they grabbed a hold of the box and cautiously started carrying it in the house. “Woah! Is your dad making you guys do all of the work?” You ask, laughter etching into your voice as you step out of the front door to get another box.
“Yeah!” Koujirou huffed.
“Well, that’s not very fair. Why don’t you just set that one down there and go take a break? We can make your dad carry it the rest of the way.”
They don’t have to be told twice. The box is dropped without a second thought and the triplets are racing inside to feel the relief of the cool house. “You know, I’m pretty sure child labor is illegal,” you tease, picking the box up from the ground.
Bokuto rolled his eyes, tucking the final box from the moving truck under his arm. His hand reached out to ruffle your hair, pushing your head away playfully as he approached you. “Oh, come on, one box wasn’t going to kill them. Besides, did you see their muscles? They take after their dad for sure.” He beams brightly at you, holding his arm out so you feel his muscles flex and relax under the fabric of his t-shirt.
You simply hum, pushing the door open for the both of you. There were piles upon piles of boxes strewn throughout the living room, the most obvious sign of the laziness that overcame you half-way through your move-in. It still felt so weird, knowing that your apartment was now sitting completely empty and would remain that way until your lease was up, but it was worth it. You were taking big steps in, not only your life, but your relationship with the man you loved. To be frank, it scared you. It had only been a few short months since you first met Bokuto’s children and now, you were moving in, becoming an even bigger part of their lives. It was one thing for you to spend weekends over, to sit up in the stands with the kids during MSBY games, to sit and laugh with them for short periods of time. But, to be with them full time? It had your heart racing with anxieties.
You didn’t know how to be a parent, let alone how to be a parent to children that weren’t even biologically yours. What if they didn’t want to listen to you? Would they just see you as some glorified babysitter who just happened to be living in their home? There were a million questions running through your head. Would your maternal instincts ever kick in or would you constantly be in a state of not knowing how to handle what was going on around you?
One by one, boxes had been carried to their respective rooms and their contents were slowly but surely put away. The triplets had had their eyes trained on the television as brightly colored cartoons rolled across the screen ever since they were released from their moving duties. And now, as you sat on your now-shared bed, unable to find the will to finish putting away your clothes, everything felt so wrong. You shouldn’t be here, not yet, at least. How were you supposed to take care of three little kids when you could barely look after yourself? The shirt in you had been folding became balled up in your fists as all of those doubts clouded your mind. You had been moved-in for less than a day and you were already on the verge of your breaking point- what an impression.
“You’re stressed,” Bokuto states simply, eyeing you from the doorway. His hair sat messily against his head, droplets of water dripping down onto his shoulders, an indicator of his recent shower.
You meet his golden irises that somehow look even more radiant in the low lighting of the bedroom, melting your heart the same way that they always did. You just shake your head. “No, I’m fine, Kou. Don’t worry about it.”
The bed shifts behind you as he takes a seat, pulling you back into his chest. “Too late. What’s on your mind?” His fingers trail delicately up and down your arms, sending soft shivers throughout your body.
“How did you become a dad?”
His fingers stop and you can feel his chest shaking with laughter. “I think someone needs to go back to sex ed.”
“Ha ha, very funny, Kou,” you tease, reaching behind you to playfully smack his arm. “I mean, how did you know how to be a dad? Did you always just know?”
He snorts slightly. “Hell no. I spent the first six months of their lives barely being able to tell them apart. You really think I knew how to be a father?”
“I don’t know. . . You’re so good with them and it’s really obvious that they love and look up to you. What if I’m not able to be a good mom to them?”
You can feel your body relax as his long fingers move towards your hair. If you were able to see his face, you would’ve seen the most beautiful smile to ever grace his features cross over his face. “Y/N, if I thought that you weren’t going to be a good mom, I wouldn’t have asked you to move in with us. Hell, I wouldn’t have even introduced you to them. It’s scary. Trust me, I know, but I promise, one day, it will all just click and you’ll know exactly what to do. But, when I see you with them,” he pauses, unable to stop the grin that overwhelms him as he speaks, “I realize that this is what’s been missing from our little family. Madori’s been missing someone who actually knows how to braid her hair. Fukurou needed someone who could ease him out of his shell better than I ever could. You’ve taught Koujirou so much! Damn, that kid was obsessed with dinosaurs before you came in, but now that you’re around, answering his questions a hell of a lot better than I ever could? He’s going to be one smart kid. But, me? I’ve been looking for someone who could make me as happy as those little shits do. I never thought I would be able to find it, but then you just, quite literally, came crashing into my life-”
“You ran into me, don’t get it twisted.”
“Wow, here I am, trying to be sentimental and you get caught up in the specifics,” Bokuto sighs, resting his chin on top of your head. “As I was saying before someone interrupted me, if I didn’t know that you would be the perfect fit for us, we wouldn’t be here right now. It takes time, but I’ll be right by your side the entire time. We’re starting something new and beautiful and I can’t wait to see how the rest of our life unfolds.”
Silence fills the room as you stare at the ceiling, captivated by the blades of the ceiling fan spinning in their predestined circle. It’s boring, living life in that straight-forwarded, molded way, but it was always the life that you thought you’d be living. You believed that it was always: fall in love, get married, have children. But, you had been given an alternate route to your story. One that had children already in the mix when you fell in love, but he was right. It was new and exciting, but more than anything it was beautifully yours. It was a story that was unique to the two of you and one that you couldn’t wait to continue.
“Hey, Kou?”
“What’s up, babe?”
“I can’t wait to spend my life with you.”
That contagious smile spread over his lips all over again, grey locks tickling your cheek as he nuzzles his nose against your shoulder, planting loving kisses against your skin. “I’m going to make you happy, I promise. And all of those worries about being a part of their lives? We’re going to make them go away. Together, okay?”

On to eps 25 + 26, my friends! It’s heating up!
Yang Jin was concerned because he saw Yu Wenzhi’s troups – but he definitely, absolutely was NOT concerned for Li Yan, no no! XD They keep on going together, but only... for 5 min or so? Until Li Yan tells him to go help A-Fei in town, since she can make the rest of the way herself (that worked so well before...). It’s cute how Yang Jin doesn’t want to go, but she makes puppy eyes at him and so he leaves.
I guess in the long run that isn’t such a bad decision to send him to A-Fei’s aid.
Poor Li Yan of course meets an outpost that’s already infiltrated by Disha. At least the man helps her instead of selling her out. And then it turns out that Li Sheng didn’t even include a message, just sending her away from where the attack will happen. Oh Li Sheng... He could have thought about how the outpost might be in Disha’s pockets, though, since it wouldn’t be the first time. Anyway, Li Yan steals a horse and goes to find help.
So much stuff is happening at the same time! Yang Jin asks after the Intinerary Gang who surely will help him (good idea), while Chuchu listens in on the Elders talking about how Li Sheng is very likely dead. She is devastated. T_T
Yu Wenzhi starts distrusting Kou Dan, because she now mentions a rumoured hidden path to the 48 Strongholds. She’s all like, “What, it’s just a rumour.“ and even I side-eye her for that. He wants to set a trap for A-Fei and leaves.
Meanwhile, Xie Yun has already strongly hinted to A-Fei that it would be an advantage if they could get YWZ to distrust at least Kou Dan. A-Fei uses YWZ’s ruse for just that, basically telling Gu Tianxian that this was an assassination attempt lead by Mingfeng Sect.
OMG the kiss by proxy!! I flailed!! Give me moooore! ♥
XY is off to distract GTX while A-Fei looks for YWZ's new hiding spot. But before that she stares into space, thrown by XY's proxy kiss. I swoon along with her. XD
Li Yan meets Li Jinrong, who was on her way back anyway since she missed her husband yet again. The army seems to have some problems, though General Wen is… perhaps downplaying? Anyway, LJR now knows that 48 Strongholds is under attack and hurries home.
Shen Tianshu has waited out the fire, it seems, and is now in front of the main gate to the 48 Strongholds. Also, YWZ’s private army has arrived. All in all, this huge combined army consists of about 30 people; 6 of them leave to find the secret path. I can’t get over the fact that the mean villains only have so few people! You really didn’t have a budget, huh? XD I mean srsly, there are definitely more people hiding at the 48 SH! XD
Look at his smug face! He always squints smugly at everyone, he’s so weird! XD
Love how XY is leading Disha around. Also happy that Wang Yibo could do lots of wirework in that scene, since he likes to do that stuff. XD Meanwhile, YWZ feels super threatened. Rightly so, asshole.
Aww the Elders Zhao and Zhang at the 48 SH want to go fighting! I actually enjoy that this show has many older characters as well.
Aaaand A-Fei has found YWZ! And she fights! And then there’s Yang Jin and the IG to the rescue! I love how they’re all fighting, while YWZ just stands there and watches with Kou Dan protecting him. Kinda. I cheered for the IG just fighting with big sticks and whatever else was at hand against that trained (? I assume) private army with swords – and they win by brute force. XD
A-Fei is all confused and Yang Jin explains, “I met Li Yan on the road and she started crying. She’s so annoying, I can’t say no to her!” He is so whipped. XD
YWZ really is a totally useless fighter. A-Fei reaches him and overpowers him easily. What kind of position does that guy have in the government? Doesn’t seem to be an army position… Since they won they want to get Disha to stop the attack on the 48 SH.
Meanwhile I fucking knew it that Ma Jili would betray them! Did he actually kill that one Elder? Or did they really encounter Disha and the Elder got killed there? Hm.
Anyway, look at Chuchu grabbing a sword! That was cool, you go queen! Though she didn’t get to use it, I’m sure there will be another chance for her to fuck some shit up!
A-Fei is so devastated that Uncle Ma betrayed her. I feel you, A-Fei. And then Uncle Ma feels guilty (or… was also misled by Kou Dan?) and fights KD, which doesn’t end good for him.
That fight between A-Fei and KD was really cool. Loved how they used the end credits song! I’m a sucker for that song! A-Fei gets her revenge and doesn’t even watch KD die.
Seriously, those poor kids will all be so traumatised. Yeah in CQL they all went to war at 19 or so, but they at least all had fighting experience in a real life situation against monsters, fierce corpses and whatnot. The kids from 48 SH grew up sheltered with this kind of fighting just a theoretical exercise.
OH nooo Xie Yun uses the super power needle! O_O He sees that 48 SH will likely lose (how, against only 20 Disha ppl, IDK…) and decides on that, because he can’t lose A-Fei.

He also throws some exposition in there, that Chuchu’s necklace is the main key for the HTYS which he is looking for. Okay. Whatever, now pls fuck Shen Tianshu up, my man.
He does. He also tells A-Fei that he wants to enjoy himself here. (Meaning he doesn’t have long afterwards anyway and wants to go out with a bang I guess. T_T) STS is shocked because it seems that Xie Yun has some SERIOUS FIGHTING SKILLZ.

Xie Yun fights and it's pretty cool! A-Fei also keeps fighting, but she gets weaker, and also seems overwhlemed by the situation. I can’t blame her.
And then Li Jinrong signals her arrival and Shen Tianshu kinda panics while A-Fei decides that this is a good moment to faint. She does a lot of fainting in this show.

Yay, Chuchu has found Li Sheng! She had to wade through some corpses for that at the river bank, but she is a badass and doesn’t care. MVP Chuchu! ♥
Excuuuse me!? STS punches (!!) Li Jinrong's horse. Seriously, asshole?! WTF?! LJR fucks him up anyway, destroys his metal hand (he later has a new one so I guess he just... has a lot of these things lying around?). Disha + YWZ’s troups finally retreat, and Chuchu immediately tells them where Li Sheng is. He is now safe, yay!
Okay this shot of LJR is really cool.
There LJR goes again with her tough mother routine. XD A-Fei is awake and happy to see her; she also aks after Xie Yun, and her mother is like, “Do you know who he is?” and A-Fei conveniently does not mention that she knows he's royalty and just tells her the important stuff like, “He does poetry and songs to make a living.” LJR just dismisses her with, “We'll talk about him later.” Oh oh.
Cute scene with A-Fei and Li Sheng, who tease each other good-naturedly. Li Sheng now can admit that A-Fei is better than him at martial arts, but he doesn't want to give up – perhaps he'll manage to be better than her one day anyway? ;D I like his growth so far.
Xie Yun comes over to flirt and invite himself into A-Fei's bedroom. XD But this time A-Fei flirts back! It's the, “I know I'm good looking, but you have to pay money to stare at me,” and A-Fei answers, “You can stare at me too and we'll call it even,” scene. XY is surprised and delighted. XD
That whole conversation between these two. ♥ T_T A-Fei knows XY so well by know that she sees through his act of putting on a happy face whenever he's worried. She wants to ask so many questions but doesn't because she thinks he won't answer them honestly anyway. T_T And she sincerely asks him if he's alright. T_T He's obviously thrown by all of this, and he talks around some things and yep, he isn't really honest. And then she asks too many questions anyway and he uses her accupoints to knock her out. My God, just talk to her!!
And there's the other ship that's shyly circling each other! Chuchu and Li Sheng have an awkward conversation, because now that it's not live or death they don't know how to act. XD He wants to look for Chuchu's brother and they perhaps could live at the 48 SH? *puppyeyes* I mean seriously, where is that kid?!
Shen Tianshu is pissed, Yu Wenzhi is too. He's going on about how Xie Yun (=Xiao Chuan) should be dead, damnit, since he was poisoned 10 years ago with that super rare and deadly Bone Piercing Blue poison (we remember, the one that 9th Madam Duan also suffered from until Li Zheng helped her). We get STS exposition that a master must've helped XY so that he survived (and the master should've died of it), but now that XY used the power needle his meridians are no longer blocked and the poison is free to circulate again = He only has a few months to live. OH NO! T_T They don't know if he's also looking for the HYTS but want to keep looking anyway; Disha masters are sent out after the two men yet again bitch at each other. XD
Sometimes it's nice to actually get some exposition here...
There's a funeral scene at 48 SH with cool music and all of them swearing their oath again to do their best with a clear conscience before Heaven, Earth, and themselves. That “clear conscience” idiom is really popular I think?
A talk between Xie Yun and Li Jinrong. She thanks him and seems sincere enough, but she also seems wary/distrustful of him (well, he fetched her ill husband to go to war again, sooo...). He yet again circumvents actually answering her questions about his former master (although I assume she at least has a hunch who he is), and he tells her she should perhaps be nicer to her daughter and compliment her from time to time. Well, I guess he's dying anyway and hasn't anything to lose. XD
She comments on his pale complexion, is he perhaps ill? Wow the passive-aggressiveness in this scene from LJR. XD Then she hands him a sigil to pass the guards and basically throws him out. Charming. Good start into that in-laws situation. XD
OMG Li Sheng sends pastries to Chuchu! ♥ And Li Yan is all excited, like, “Yes please fetch your little brother, I always wanted a little brother, that would be awesome!” XD
Xie Yun and A-Fei have a romantic stroll under the not-moonlight. ♥ They are holding hands, be still my heart! ♥ While they are hand holding we also get a MV of their best moments so far.
She tells him she's working on a gift for him, and she wants to help him look for the HYTS since it seems to be a shitty thing and she doesn't want it to fall into Disha's hands. Xie Yun would like to stay at 48 SH and of course doesn't tell A-Fei about his talk wit LRJ nor that he's, you know, dying. It's obvious that he will leave without her because he doesn't want to drag her into this (the trope of “I know what's best for you without giving you a real chance to make a decision yourself” ugh) and also because he's fucking dying. OMG. T_T
We end with A-Fei knocking on his door the next morning (where he very obviously isn't anymore) to give him her gift. Before she can actually see that he isn't there Chuchu intercepts her, so A-Fei tries to give her back the necklace. Chuchu is all like, “Nooo you keep it, it's far saver with you!” so there's that. This will surely be important later. The two girls leave for town to fetch medicine, while Xie Yun sits near the river and sadly plays his flute. T_T

I love scarves!!! So Carla’s scarf :) But eyepatches are metal as fuck, but I’d do that for like a one time only thing.
2.- Which moments has been the most shocking to you? (Game, Manga, CD Drama, Stage Play, Anime)
Ok the fact that in the anime Laito kills Richter, like I look back at it and lose my SHIT––that’s probably the best thing the anime has to offer. There’s so much symbolism and implications and UGH I might have to do an analysis of it myself, even though aka-anemone made hers on it. I know I talk shit about the anime a lot so it’s surprising that I’d be talking about it in a positive light, but that’s one of the most shocking moments I can think of now.
3.- Have you had a Diaboy whom you hated (or had very little interest) and now you love him?
Uhhhhh not really? I’ve always hated Reiji and uh,,,, I hate him a little less now. I appreciate his juxtaposition to the boys and his funny insults and regular comic relief.
4.- Which moments (Game, Manga, etc) has made you laugh the most?
EVERY TIME LAITO REFERS TO HIMSELF AS A GENTLEMAN I SWEAR––there was one moment I remember laughing recently too, oh god it was a tokuten CD; whenever I think of it I’ll make an edit to this.
oh also whenever Reiji’s whip sound effect plays in the games or CD. Idk why but it’s so funny to me.
5.- Which moments has made you cry the most?
I’ve played Laito’s MB route two times, and whenever that scene of him and Yui having consensual sex I always cry. First it was on the bus when I went to Cuba for a school trip three years ago (which yikes I hate crying in front of other people LMAO), and last year it was in the corner of the study room in my residence hall behind 2 whiteboards on wheels. I was waiting for my laundry to be done (for some reason the laundry room and the study room were connected lmao)
6.-Which moments has been the scariest for you?
Legit Kanato’s HDB vampire ending. That shit screwed me up dude, my stomach knotted even more than Laito’s ending. I’ll copy a snippet of a conversation between me and my friend (who loves Kanato) when I just got done with his vampire ending.
me: like Kanato really just took everything Yui loved and had, even her humanity; i just realized the latter, and WOW thats FUCKED UP like Laito did it too but SHIT kanato just,,, went more
my friend: Right?? And it’s so much more eerie with kanato because yui just seems so happy. And yeah laito also took everything away but kanato is just on this whole other level because at least yui remembers her old life and why she loved it with laito but she doesn’t with kanato
me: Yeah its just uhhhhhhhhhh oh god oh fuck
I think creepy stuff juxtaposed by happiness/cuteness just makes it all the worst. Its like that clip of children singing ring around the rosie in horror movies; that specifically doesn’t really get me cuz its so overused now but you get the gist.

I’ve been in this godforsaken hell for 5 years now???? And I think about Laito literally almost every fucking day???? what do I get??? nO dreams with him. I think I’ve had snippets before but I can’t remember any now. It’s unfortunate.
BUT. I do remember one dream I had where Reiji was in (the irony, I know). Here’s the text I sent to my friend (that was in the dream too) about it:
Me: BRUHHHH U WERE IN MY DREAM LAST NIGHT AND SO WAS REIJI FROM DIABOLIK LOVERS (the one that looks like a pigeon) AND YOU SAID THAT YOU LOST YOUR VIRGINITY IN HIGH SCHOOL TO HIM IM LOSING MY MARBLES LMAO

Me: We were all in this bougie ass house waiting for someone, and you, me and Reiji are just on the couch and im introducing myself and all and I was like “I know who you are Reiji” and then the conversation continued and eventually there was a subtle hint in a sentence he said that insinuated that you and him had sex, and I was like “HUH???? [friend’s name] WHAT” and you were like .3. “yeah I hooked up in high school” and I was like “goddammit why didnt you at least introduce me to Laito or something if you knew his family” and you were like “lol”

Parlay (Kuroo x Reader) | Ch. 3
Pairing: Kuroo Tetsurou x Reader (ft. Roommate Kenma)
Word Count: ~2400
Genres: Fluff, angst if you squint, general buffoonery
CW: Some swearing, but otherwise none!
Summary: (Y/N), a first-year student attending Tokyo U, is living with her best friend, Kozume Kenma. Little did she know, her life would be turned upside down after being exposed to Kenma’s volleyball teammate and close friend, Kuroo Tetsurou. One wrong move, and the parlay’s stakes only get higher each time.

Honestly, Kuroo dreaded 2:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday. His lecture was two and a half hours long, and it was in one of the school’s bigger lecture halls, meaning he spent two days a week sitting at an itty bitty desk in an overcrowded lecture hall. It was always hot and muggy, and there’s always that one guy that you can smell three rows back. It honestly can’t be that hard to take a shower once a while, right? Personal hygiene. What a concept!
‘Before making assumptions about a person who smells - like thinking they don’t shower - consider their living situation and the fact that not everyone has access to--’ A memory from a conversation with Bokuto flashed through his mind. He begged the Bokuto that lived inside his head to please shut his piehole.
In retrospect, he really should have taken an easier class, but no. His academic advisor had strongly advised against taking an easier class to fulfill this requirement because it wouldn’t ‘enrich his academic talents.’ He could just hear his teammate’s irritating tone.
“Don’t worry, Tetsu-Chan! It’ll be a good challenge for you!”
‘Good challenge’ his ass. He really had to stop trusting other people’s judgement.
Despite his admitted hatred for his 2:00 lecture, at least he and Bokuto got to chat beforehand. The frat boy had a class at the same time: Women and Politics in Continental America. According to him, so long as you did your work and ‘are at least a somewhat decent person,’ the class was relatively easy to get a quality grade in. So while Kuroo was dreading the next two and a half hours of his life he’ll never get back, Bokuto could talk Kuroo’s ear off about his “Owlets” without a care in the world, that bastard.
“Bruh, they’re so cute! We played freeze tag for warm ups today ‘cuz they’ve been good all week and, man, little kids are hella fast!” Kuroo cracked a smile at that. Bokuto loved both volleyball and kids, so when he started working as a youth instructor at the sports center, the guy was living his best life. About halfway through hearing a story about the Owlets dogpiling on Bokuto, Kuroo heard a group of girls giggling a little further down the hallway.
There he saw Kenma’s cute girlfriend making an exaggerated sad face. Her surrounding girlfriends were half laughing and half consoling her. They patted her back and he could vaguely hear ‘next time, next time!’ and ‘--boba right after?’
As they got closer, he heard one of the girls chime in, “Hold on, we can’t go right after. That guest speaker for Native American Lit. is speaking in Ballroom One at six.”
“Oh yeah... After that, then?” another girl offered.
(Y/N) shook her head, “I promised I’d pick up a shift at Chisai at 5:30,” she told them apologetically. Her friends collectively booed as Kuroo pushed off the wall he was leaning against.
“I’ll see you at practice, man.” Bokuto paused his story. They gave each other a bro-nod in farewell.
“Okay, ttyl.”
Kuroo halted in his tracks, “...did you just say ttyl out loud?”
“It’s easier that way. My kids like it!”
“They’re nine, Kou, they like everything you do.”
“Nine is a very enriched age and it’s important that we don’t undermine the abilities of--”
“Whoops, gotta go!” Kuroo speed walked in the direction of the group of girls. Bokuto went out of his way to stay “woke” - his words, not Kuroo’s - and it made him a great guy, but Kuroo could only handle so much social consciousness. (Y/N) noticed him before he reached them.
“Oh, Kuroo-san! You have a class in this building?” For someone he’d met only once before, she looked happier to see him than a lot of people normally would. Did she look at everyone like that?
He gave each of the girls a charming smile. Several of them looked from (Y/N) to him, wide-eyed. In all objective terms, Kuroo knew the effect he had on people. He was used to people of all genders’ gazes lingering on him. After all, he was the whole package: tall, handsome, charming, and it was obvious he drank Respect Women Juice every day.
“Unfortunately, yes,” he nodded his head towards his lecture room, “Not my favorite class this semester.”
“Well, I’m in this class, too. If we sat together, would it be less agonizing?” she asked. Before he could answer, she turned to her friends, “I’ll see you probably tomorrow.” They said their goodbyes, and a few of them flirtily waved Kuroo goodbye. In return, he gave them a sly wink, “Ladies.”
“If you have other friends in this class, though, I won’t be offended at all if you sit with them,” his attention snapped to her. He held the classroom door open and gestured her in. She unthinkingly led them to the same side of the room as the one Kuroo usually sat, a few rows ahead of his normal seat.
“Actually,” he said, “All my friends were smart enough to take other classes,” he laughed. “Besides, who wouldn’t want to sit next to a such a cute girl?” he gave her a cute wink.
‘What a flirt,’ she thought.
“Is that your signature move?” she teased.
Kuroo put a hand to his chest in mock offense, “Move? A gentleman doesn’t use ‘moves.’”
“Are you a gentleman, then, Kuroo-san?”
“If you wanted me to be.”
“Cheesy.”
“Don’t worry. I get worse over time.”
(Y/N) mentally cheered. If Kuroo was flirting with her this blatantly, surely he must have a feeling that she and Kenma weren’t serious. Then, Kenma would have to admit that she wasn’t oblivious and she’d win the bet!
Kuroo’s voice broke her out of her thoughts. “But don’t think I’m trying to steal you from Kenma. Bro-code is sacred text, you know.”
Oh. Well. That’s okay! He might not figure it out right away, but surely when he sees that Kenma doesn’t care one bit that he was flirting with his ‘girlfriend,’ he’d figure it out eventually! ...right?
“Don’t worry.” She replied, “He couldn’t care less.”
The professor walked in about 2 minutes before the class officially began. The man in about his mid-40’s cracked his RhedBhull energy drink and chugged the whole thing in one go. Crushing the can in his fist, he tossed it into a nearby trashcan and started plugging the projector cable into his laptop. In a way, Kuroo was glad even the professor was having as much of a hard time with this class as much as he was.
While he’d been watching the professor prepare himself, he hadn’t noticed the girl next to him pull out a notebook, two mechanical pencils, a big eraser, a set of highlighters, some gel pens, and some sticky tabs. At first he thought she was the type to make pretty notes and not actually learn anything, but as the class dragged on, whenever he glanced at her notes, he noticed that her diagrams were frighteningly detailed and every bit of information had its place. He didn’t want to be that guy by constantly looking at her notes, but even the comments in the little text bubble she drew made more sense than anything on the lecture slides.
Leaning in towards her, the taller male whispered, “I’m sure you don’t need the help, but do you want to study together sometime?” No answer.
“Kenma can come too, if you’re worried about him getting the wrong idea.” Nothing. Was she ignoring him? Had he somehow managed to offend her? He was nearly offended until he realized that nothing was affecting her at all. Not when someone sneezed or when the glass side door slammed loudly and nearly everyone jumped out of her skin. Save for her hand working like a machine, she hardly moved. Just her hand and her eyes flitting up, down, up, down, up, down from the projector to her notes. A tornado could rip through campus and Kuroo wasn’t entirely confident that she’d move.
‘Cute.’ Kuroo shook his head at his own thoughts. Sure, she was cute, but she was as off-limits as possible.
‘Though,’ he reasoned, ‘Being friends isn’t a crime.’
Lost in thought, the end of the lecture came sooner than anticipated. Twisting in his seat, his spine made a loud crack. Ah, the ripe old age of 21. In his defense, the chairs in the lecture hall weren’t exactly ergonomic.
“I doubt that’s a healthy noise for your spine to make.” She peered at him over her bag as she gently organized all her pens into a baby pink pencil case with little green aliens on it.
‘Cute,’ he thought.
“Thanks! It was a gift,” she chirped. He blinked.
“Huh?”
“The pencil case? I got it as a gift.”
It took Kuroo a moment to register what in the world she was talking about. When the realization dawned on him he mentally kicked himself.
‘I said that out loud???’
They headed outside where the sun had nearly set. She asked him what his plans were later on, and he mentioned his volleyball scholarship.
“Wow! It’s super competitive just to get on the team here. Congratulations!” He chuckled at her enthusiasm and thanked her for being so encouraging.
“So…” she trailed off for a moment, “You’re Tooru’s teammate, then?”
Kuroo gave an ugly, barking laugh.
“Yeah. Not sure if that’s good or bad. He’s the best setter I’ve ever met, but he’s also super cheery and will smile while he roasts you within an inch of your life.”
They both chuckled. (Y/N) looked at the ground shyly and said in a small voice, “Yeah, that sounds like him.”
“You know each other?” it suddenly occurred to that she and Oikawa were on a first-name basis. “You a fangirl of his?” he teased.
She squeaked. Waving her hands in front of her frantically, she said, “No, no, no! I just-- We just-- We both went to Seijoh, that’s all.” Kuroo was mildly offended that she thought he’d believe such a poorly delivered lie, but he decided to let it go. For now. Changing the subject, he said,
“So, where are you headed? Practice to watch your boyfriend?” She tensed, then quickly relaxed.
“I’ve never been to a practice since I always seem to have a shift at the same time. I have work at 5:30 today, actually.”
“You’re walking around when it’s this dark?”
“It’s only about a 20 minute walk from here. Don’t worry, I have pepper spray.”
“Mildly comforting, but not much. If you don’t mind, I could walk you there?”
His gesture was rewarded by an adorable eye smile, “Oh, that’s so kind of you. Okay, if it’s not too much trouble.”
On the walk there, she told him all about Chisai Tea House and about Grandmother, the sweet old woman who owned it.
“I worry, though. Gran is getting old. She’s not in a condition to work all day like she does.”
Kuroo looked up at the darkening sky, “When people love something, it’s hard to pull them away.”
“Mm, don’t I know it?”
Kuroo asked what kinds of things Chisai served. Besides dim sum, of course.
“What people order just depends on what they want at the time. There’s no ‘good’ thing to get because everything’s amazing! We make traditional green teas, Korean songpyeon, khao neeo mamuang, and don’t even get me started on the har gao and sumai, and all the dim sum stuff. All of our recipes have been passed down through families for generations.”
Around 5:20, she stopped at a door along the line of shops. The place was bustling with customers, and the air around it smelled of sweet treats and green teas. The whole place had a traditional Chinese feel. Through the windows, the busy place looked busy, but peaceful. On the tables nearest the window, he saw moon cakes and songpyeon that made his mouth water.
“Thank you for walking me to work! If you have some free time, would you like to come in for something to eat? My treat?” she offered.
“I wish I could, (Y/N)-san, but I have practice--!” Kuroo choked on the word. Practice! How could he forget? He’d been going to volleyball practice on weekdays since he started high school!
“Is there something wrong?” the shorter girl asked, concerned. He shook his head.
“Not at all. Thanks for keeping me company,” he winked. He didn’t want her to feel like him being late was her fault, so he waited until she was fully inside the tea shop before he turned tail and hauled ass. The gym was about a 10 minute walk, so there was a chance he could make it.
After some hardcore sprinting, the boy almost cried tears of relief when the building finally came into view. He flung himself through the locker room door. Inside, he saw all his teammates finishing up getting dressed, putting on knee pads, tying shoelaces, the like. Every head turned his way.
“Bro! What’s-- Hey! Why are you all sweaty?” Bokuto shouted from the far end of the locker room. Kuroo meant to respond, but he found himself completely out of breath. Volleyball players might not be cut out for long distance sprinting. At least, he definitely wasn’t.
“Overslept?” Iwaizumi clapped his teammate on the back as he brushed past him through the doorway.
“You know coach doesn’t like it when people are late to practice. Better hurry up, Tetsu-chan!” Oikawa said in a tone all too gleeful to be genuine. Forcing his legs to move, Kuroo stumbled as he yanked his shirt off and ran to his locker while simultaneously trying to shimmy his pants off. Bokuto came up beside him during his frantic clambering to get ready.
“What happened, man? You don’t usually get here this late?”
Kuroo glanced over his shoulder at his friend’s worried expression.
“I’m good, bro, I just...” he panted, “I just lost track of time.”
“M’kay, if you’re sure everything’s Gucci?”
“Yeah, man, I’m good.” The wing spiker nodded and headed out the door. Alone at last, Kuroo stuffed his feet into his shoes and rested his head against his locker for a moment. Next time, he’d stop creeping on Kenma’s girlfriend and focus on making it to practice on time. This wouldn’t happen again.

...Although, it’s more like a stream of consciousness commentary. I try and fail not to make this too long as usual, so warning long post ahead.
Summary: Aidairo leaves us on that cliffhanger by giving us a break with tension-breaker Kou with his caring friends, more Mitsukou, and then dun dun dun they encounter a Wild Comic Relief of Universal Proportions Natsuhiko (poor fish and tarantula I hope they got back safe) and apparently Natsuhiko wants to capture No.6 like he’s the rarest pokemon of all and might have the secret key to the immortality fountain?? Will we ever know more about these mysterious man stay tuned next month. And oh yeah also No.6 always wanted to throw Aoi into the hole to rot away because he’s also a necromancer. Just great and swell here folks, don’t know how Nene and Akane are faring ~

2. first anime crush
I think my first anime crush might have been Tuxedo Mask (or “Darien,” as I knew him then)? Maybe? xD He was basically the ideal prince for any anime fangirl who grew up watching Sailor Moon, and I guess I was one among many who loved him and yearned for a miracle romance like the one between him and Sailor Moon.
But then I don’t think he really counts? I hardly understood what a crush or an anime crush was back then, and I wanted him to live happily ever after with Usagi rather than actually wanting to date him myself, if that makes sense. So I’m going to fast forward like ten years later to my re-entrance into anime (via Sailor Moon, again, wow) and say that my first actual anime crush was Yaten Kou.
Yes, I saw Yaten as a guy. I hope I’m not offending anyone or coming off as transphobic or anything, because I swear I’m not D: I’m now aware of their gender (both manga and anime versions), but back then, I seriously thought Yaten was a man. I mean, technically, in the 90s anime adaptation, he is a guy in civilian form. Maybe because that was the first form I saw of him so the “male” thing just kinda stuck. And no, I’m not kidding, even after seeing Sailor Star Healer transformed, with breasts growing in front of my eyes and running around fighting with a clearly female body, back then I still didn’t realise that “he” was a girl in Senshi form. I didn’t even see the boobs, if that makes sense, and I’m not exaggerating. Like, it wasn’t a case of denial or anything; I literally thought the Starlights were male through and through xDDD I’m almost embarrassed to admit this now, but then it’s also kinda funny to look back on haha xD
But yeah, even now that I’m aware of the Starlights’ very complex gender (or lack thereof), I still love Yaten a lot and still consider him/her/them to be my first anime crush. Yaten also kinda helped me realise my very obvious type in terms of anime crushes: white/silver-haired pretty boys xD I’ve added countless new anime crushes to my list since then, but Yaten will always be special in the sense that they were the first ^^

Deepthroating skills [KuroAka]
What would the stupidest tattoo in this world be, you may ask? A dick? Your ex's name? Your bank card code? The scanning code for a bag of Oreo cookies? Wrong. The most ridiculous, weird, stupid tattoo that one could think of is an inscription on your lower back, reading "I choked on three dicks once, can you beat me?" in a cursive, elegant font.
And Kuroo Tetsurou was about to get one for himself.
Do not get him wrong, he didn't do what the tattoo said. (And hopefully, he won't have to.) He just happened to lose a bet to his close friend, Bokuto, and thus, this dare was the loser's punishment. The bet was an even more ridiculous one, to be fair. Tetsurou was stupid enough to agree to drink 7 liters of beer and be confident enough (or stupidly stubborn enough) to think that he wouldn't throw up and pass out in at least an hour after. He did both.
But Kuroo wasn't the shy, cautious type. He did not refuse nor hesitate to accept his punishment. In fact, Koutarou's proposal made him snort and laugh for 10 minutes straight, immediately accepting. After all, how bad could that be? The tattoo would be a semi-permanent one, it would fade eventually, but the memories would remain. And that would be quite a story to tell your grandchildren when you're 80 and more. Wondering about what kind of reactions his teammates would have when they'll see Tetsurou's tattoo at the volleyball practice made him laugh more, this thought making his impatience and excitement grow. He truly couldn't wait til he felt the ink imprinting the ridiculous message on the small of his back. Nothing could go wrong.
Or so he thought.
It was a warm Thursday afternoon. Humming some random tune he heard that morning on the radio, Tetsurou walked down the street, heading to the place he was more than willing to visit since a week ago. A small, newly opened tattoo parlor. He had heard about the shop from one of his course mates when they were talking about tattoos and the brunet has been looking for an actual opportunity to go and get one since then. It was one of Tetsurou's longtime dreams to have a tattoo, and what would be a better occasion to get one if not Bokuto's hilarious dare?
Kuroo grinned at the thought, already imagining the confused face of the (un)lucky person who'll have to write it for him and he couldn't help but laugh more. Man, that would be fun.
He stopped in front of the said building, examining it quickly. Nothing special, just a metal, black door with the inscription "Tattoo parlor" written in bold, white and red letters, and gray walls illuminated with red lights. Opening the door, the black haired male entered the shop and was welcomed by a medium sized room, with brick walls and a wooden floor, illuminated by a few ceiling led lights. Tattoo samples in wooden or metal frames decorated the walls along with a few new-age paintings. Kuroo noticed a black leather couch next to the door and the receptionist's desk, made of black wood with more tattoo design catalogs spread over it. In the farthest part of the room, Kuroo saw a few sinks and leather chairs, along with a brown wooden door. No one was present in the room when he entered, so Tetsurou thought it would be okay to wander around while waiting.
He started examining the designs presented on the wall, humming to the song that played in the background when he heard the back door opening and closing. Grinning, Kuroo kept looking at a certain design on the wall, but turned his body a little, acknowledging the presence of the other person.
“Hey, I thought this place was empty so I was about to use those sharp guns of yours to ink something myself.” He joked as he turned around fully, facing the other. “Good thing that you-” Kuroo froze when he faced the said person, too stunned to finish his statement because the man in front of him was just so fucking pretty.
The male was a bit shorter than Tetsurou, his frame lean and slender, but definitely fit. He had black, silky hair, short and slightly curled at the ends, messily combed and pulled backward with a black bandana. He wore a plain, gray T-shirt along with black jeans and Tetsurou saw different tattoos covering the skin of his arms up to his shirt sleeve. The man had the prettiest blue eyes Kuroo had ever seen, deep and mysterious as the night sky and his lips were too fucking smooth and luscious for this world. If Kuroo has ever felt uncertain about his sexuality before, he was God damn sure about it now.
They stood like that for a second or two, until the pretty male spoke, his voice impassive yet so smooth and suave that Kuroo felt like fucking melting.
“Can I help you?”
Blinking, Tetsurou clasped his mouth shut and nodded dumbly, his eyes still slightly widened as he kept looking at the other, charmed by his looks. “Ah- um, yes, I want a…tattoo?”
The male snorted, staring at Kuroo amused. “Asking for a tattoo in a tattoo parlor? Risky.” He finished, a small grin on his lips. Tetsurou blushed, taken aback by the view because he could swear that the man got 10000 times more beautiful than he already was when he didn’t smile. What the fuck? Frowning, he looked down, mentally slapping himself when he processed his own answer. 'You’re in a fucking tattoo shop, Tetsurou, are you here for ballet classes?'
Shaking his head, Kuroo grinned again, hoping that his embarrassment would go unnoticed as he cleared his throat. “Right, yes. Sorry, I’m just a bit tired. The stress, y’know?” Wow, nice save, Tetsurou. “I want a semi-permanent tattoo. Do you do those kinds here?” He asked, immediately changing the subject.
The tattoo artist chuckled again, nodding at his question. “Yeah, you can get one of those. Follow me.” Then, he turned around and began walking towards one of the leather chairs, Kuroo following him behind, not able to take his eyes from the tattoed man in front of him. Once Tetsurou was seated, the shorter male grabbed a few utensils and began preparing them, long, slender fingers grabbing a notepad and a marker as he turned back to Kuroo.
“Got any design in your mind or do you want to pick one from the catalogs?” the male asked patiently. Kuroo, who was still admiring the other’s looks, snapped out of his daze and nodded eagerly, opening his mouth to speak. Right when he was about to voice his design, he froze.
Remember his thoughts about when he was going to ask the tattoo artist to write that specific message? Yeah, well he was not going to tell some awfully pretty man with an angel-like face that he wanted him to write that he choked on three god damned dicks once on his lower back. Damn Koutarou and his dare. He might as well have planned it, Tetsurou had that much faith in Kou.
They sat in complete silence for a couple of moments, Kuroo blinking stupidly at the stranger as the other simply stared back, one eyebrow arched in curiosity.
“Well?” he asked, his head tilting a little. Kuroo bit his lip and could feel the heat creeping up his cheeks. Sighing, he gave in and nodded, looking away as he spoke, trying to sound less embarrassed than he actually felt. And that was a lot.
“I choked on three dicks once, can you beat me?” he finally replied, his head hung low and his bangs covering his face.
“That’s some amazing performance, but I asked you about the tattoo.” the other replied, snorting amused at Kuroo’s answer, a small grin curling his lips upwards.
Kuroo blushed brighter, his eyes widening slightly and he honestly felt like dying. He then shook his head, facing the other man, and, if it weren’t for his super huge embarrassment, he could’ve melted at the sight of the tattoo artist grinning, biting the tip of his tongue with his canine teeth.
Clearing his throat and resisting the urge to simply jump from the chair and sprint outside just to escape what was going to be the most troubling situation in his life, Kuroo fidgeted and looked at him again, his face serious and calm, despite his internal screeching.
“I want that written on my lower back. In a cursive font.”
Now it was the pretty male’s turn to stare dumbly at Kuroo, blinking slowly as he processed what Tetsurou had just said. They stared at each other, Kuroo’s uneasiness growing by second, till the blue-eyed man snorted. Then he laughed.
Have you ever encountered those situations when you feel like you’re both fucked and blessed by some divinity? Kuroo just found himself in one of those states, not knowing how to react as he stared at the brunet while the other laughed for a good minute, not even bothering to cover his mouth in an attempt to be more discreet. Not that Tetsurou minded, that was one of the most beautiful laughs he has ever heard. He decided that he was more blessed than fucked.
“Alright then, deepthroater, let’s get you this tattoo.” he finally replied, though still giggling as he stood up again, putting on some rubber gloves, gesturing for Kuroo to lay on his stomach. “You take your shirt off and lay down and let me do my magic, alright?” he added, grabbing his instruments and approaching Tetsurou.
Kuroo obliged and took off his shirt, laying carefully on the leather bench, supporting his head on his arms.
The blue-eyed man worked mostly in silence, making a few comments here and there, Tetsurou responding to them effortlessly. Once he started working on the line art, Kuroo was quite surprised. He expected it to be more painful and uncomfortable, but it wasn’t actually that bad. Tetsurou decided that he was definitely going to get more tattoos. But certainly not something as embarrassing as the text that the pretty male was imprinting on his back at that moment.
“Is that a talent of yours?” the artist asked after a while, snickering again, his voice a bit muffled by the sound of the tattoo machine.
“Talent?” Tetsurou responded perplexed.
“You know, choking on three dicks at once. That demands quite the skill, I must admit.” he replied, another series of chuckles slipping past his lips. Kuroo felt like slamming his head against a wall so that he could avoid all this. There’s nothing worse in this world than meeting one awfully pretty male and embarrassing yourself in front of him seconds after, only to make him laugh and make jokes about you. Okay, the other male may have a really cute laugh and smile, but Kuroo still had his damned pride.
Laughing a little as well, Tetsurou turned his head to grin at the other, careful not to bother him in his work. “Fortunately, I haven’t experienced what the tattoo says, mind you.” he retorted jokingly, glancing at him from the corner of his eye. “It’s just a bet I lost a few days ago. This is my punishment. Sorry to disappoint you.” he added, chuckling at the end. The other laughed and nodded, feigning a sad pout then lifted his head to grin at Tetsurou.
“Pity. You really look like the type who’d have the skill to do that.” he replied, winking. Kuroo had to smile and laugh as well, then he turned his head back immediately because the hottie winked and made a fucking sexual innuendo about him. Insert high pitched screams here.
Once he was finished, the male cleaned the freshly tattoed area, applying the ointment and bandaging the skin, helping Kuroo stand up.(Kuroo definitely didn’t “accidentally” squeeze his hand a bit longer than necessary when the shorter brunet grabbed his palm to support to stand up, because aside from a pretty face, a fucking smooth voice and divine laugh, the male dared to have the smoothest hands too. The bastard.
“Apply the antibiotic twice a day, keep it covered till it heals properly and clean and moist too.” the brunet explained, handing Kuroo a small bottle of the same ointment he has applied earlier along with a brochure about proper aftercare. Tetsurou nodded and took the goods, placing them in his backpack. The wound on his back still hurt a little but it wasn’t anything too bad. He couldn’t wait till he could peel the bandage off so that he could show Bokuto his newly acquired decoration. For now, though, he’ll entertain his best friend with his story about how he embarrassed himself in front of the prettiest male in this world and how the pretty face flirted and joked back.
Kuroo soon came to the realization that he still hadn't gotten the beauty’s name and that he himself hadn’t introduced himself either. Smart move, very smart.
Turning around again, Kuroo smiled at him and scratched his nape, laughing a little. “I’ve been here for more than an hour, but I forgot to ask your name. I’m Tetsurou, pleased to meet you.” he finished, extending his hand for a handshake as he waited for the other to introduce himself too.
The stranger though, didn’t accept the handshake. Instead, he listened to Kuroo’s words, eyeing his whole body in the meantime (he totally checked him out) then took Tetsurou’s arm, pulling it closer to him. Taking the sharpie from the small table next to them, the tattoo artist scribbled something on Kuroo’s forearm, letting it go once he was finished. Curious, Kuroo inspected his arm and was surprised to find a series of numbers written on his skin in a neat, clean handwriting as the other spoke again, his smirk evident in his voice.
“Name’s Keiji. Call me if you want to grab a drink sometime. I have a business proposal for your deepthroating skills.” he finished, winking and chuckling at Kuroo when the other snapped his head up to stare at him, taken aback by his words.
Tetsurou nodded dumbly, his cheeks getting red and hot again. He could’ve said something too, but Kuroo was pretty sure that he’d only blabber nonsense, so staying silent didn’t sound like a bad idea. Quickly, he fetched his belongings, paying for the tattoo and the other services, then said goodbye to an amused Keiji and exited the shop hurriedly, still processing what has happened. So he got himself a new tattoo, met a punk, teasing angel and got date with the same hottie, all at the same time, managing even to make a complete fool out of himself in front of the smug beauty.
…..Tetsurou had to work hard if he wanted to rebuild his masculinity and cockiness in front of Keiji.

‘Ugh... My head...' The tomboyish girl said as she rubbed her head. The events yesterday replayed vividly in her mind. She stood up from her bed and walked to the bathroom, her eyes still closed. She only opened them when she tripped on something long. She fell with a thud on the floor as she rubbed her forehead. She looked at her feet and saw what appears to be a long naginata, almost too long for (Name) to use. She raised her gaze and landed on a yellow figure...
"NANIIIIIIIIII!?!?"

"So you think Chie might get to see her Persona?" You asked Izanami.
"Possibly so. I wonder what she'll look like?" Izanami pondered. You thought as well coming up with a lot of possibilities, all of them related to kung-fu. Your train of thoughts were interrupted when you were pushed to the ground by a running student. A few of your notebooks were thrown out of your bag as you rubbed where that kid hit you. Two pairs of hands picked up your things and placed them inside your bag. One pair belonged to a lean male with blue hair and dark eyes. The other pair belonged to a male with brown hair and brown eyes wearing the P.E. uniform.
"Are you okay? Geez that kid should've watched where he was going." The guy in the P.E. uniform said as he returned you your bag. You nodded.
"Yeah. Thanks, by the way." You stood up and brushed your clothes.
"No problem. I'm Kou, by the way. Kou Ichijo. This is my friend Daisuke." He gestured to his friend. "Say, aren't you that new kid that joined a few days ago?" You nodded. "Well, clubs are accepting new members today. Why don't you join the sports club?"
"Make sure you join the soccer club, okay?" Daisuke smiled.
"No way! She should join the basketball club!" Kou argued.
"Guys. I'm pretty sure you already know this by now but, I'm a girl." You said in a monotone voice.
"Ah. Well... you can always be our manager!" Kou said excitedly.
"But you already have one for the basketball club." Daisuke intervened. "The soccer club's open for a spot. Why don't you join us?"
You shrugged. "I'll give it some thought."
Daisuke grinned and stood up. "Great! I'll see you at practice, okay?" Kou helped you up as you dusted your skirt. "Oh, shoot. We're gonna be late for class! C'mon, let's go!" Kou grabbed your wrist and ran to the school with Daisuke following quickly. Izanami just walked at a leisurely pace, smiling at the three students.
"She's definitely a special person." She said while following them.
|Yaso High, Class 2-3|
“Good morning, (Name)!" Yosuke cheerfully greeted. You gave him a small smile and greeted him.
"Morning, Yosuke." You looked around the classroom, noticing that a certain tomboy is missing. "Where's Chie?"
He shrugged. "I guess she's still not feeling well. Hey, you know that they're gonna be accepting new members for the clubs, right?"
"Yeah. I already thought of what I'm gonna join." You said as you took your seat.
"Already? Man, that was fast. By the way, did you do that math assignment? Can I copy off ya? I forgot about it last night." He smiled sheepishly. You sighed and dug around your bag for the notebook.
"Why have you forgotten about it? What did you do last night?" You asked him.
"Ah, uh... Oh hey! Izanami isn't with you!" He avoided the question, a pink blush in his cheeks.
Normally you would've pried but now noticing your missing Persona, you paused. "Huh, where is she?" You took another look around the classroom. "And Jiraiya isn't with you as well." Yosuke looked around and realized his Persona was missing as well. "Weird. I wonder where did he went to?"
"By the way, Yosuke. Are there anything more to do in clubs?" You asked Yosuke as he jotted down your answers.
"Hmm. Well I know that you can join two different clubs but why don't you ask a teacher?" Before you could say anything else, the teacher came in, marking that classes has already started.
|Lunchtime|
"You really didn't have to make extra lunch for me, really!" Yosuke said embarrassingly as you opened your lunchbox full of different fried food.
"You said it yourself, Yosuke. We're a team and we need to stick together. Even if we're gonna eat together every lunchtime." You said as you grabbed chopsticks.
"I didn't exactly say that..." He mumbled but stopped when he smelled your lunch. "Hey, is that tonkatsu?"
"That and some salad." You smiled as you hand Yosuke another pair of chopsticks. He took some pork tonkatsu and ate it. His eyes widened at the amazingly combined texture and flavor.
"Wow, this is great! I didn't know you could cook!" He continued to eat more of his share.
"My parents are always on business trips so I grew independent." You and Yosuke ate your lunch in peace. That is until two certain entities made their entrance.
"Hey, Yosuke! Have I got news for youuuuuuu......" He trailed off when he saw the situation in front of him. He just stood there, then smirked (you thought he smirked). "Oh I see. Making a move on (Name) already?"
Yosuke blushed heavily and stammered. "I-It's not what it looks like!"
"Where have you two been?" You asked them. Izanami suddenly turned silent and turned away from you while Jiraiya seemed a lot more elated.
"Oh, nowhere..." Jiraiya sang.
"Jiraiya..." Yosuke groaned, knowing from the tone of his Persona's voice, it's not good.
"Izanami, what did you two do?" You questioned. Izanami face-palmed while shaking her head.
"Something even I am ashamed of." You wanted to question further but Jiraiya beat you to it.
"By the way, Yosuke. That so-called 'club practice', was it? There were lots of women signing up in one of them and-"
"(Name) is not joining just for your needs!" Izanami snapped.
"Chill, Izanami. I overheard them saying that a (hair color) girl will be joining for their 'soccer' practice." Jiraiya tested the word.
"That must be Daisuke's club. He asked me to join it since the basketball club's already got one." You checked your phone for the time. "And it seems lunch is almost over. We should go to class. We can meet up after class." You packed up your bento and went inside.
"Okay, Jiraiya. You had your fun. Now what was it that made you so happy?" Yosuke asked his Persona.
"I-It appears (Name) needs me. So please excuse me..." Izanami hurriedly excused herself and went after her respective user.
"Oh you'll see. Just do me a favor and go to the place where they practice soccer."
Whatever Jiraiya was planning, Yosuke didn't like it.
|After School|
After the last period had ended, you and Izanami went to the field outside the school where the soccer club was practicing. You placed your bag on the bench and went up to the coach, saying that you're here for the manager's spot. He nodded and blew his whistle to get the attention of the team.
"Listen up, everyone! Now I know that you are all aware that we need a manager for the soccer club. And luckily someone volunteered. Everyone, meet (Last name)-san!"
"Please just address me as (Name)-san. And thank you for having me." You bowed to them all, some guys saying how cute you looked.
"Okay, so I want someone to show the ropes around the club. Doubly better if someone (Name)-san might know of."
"I know her, teach!" Daisuke said, raising his hand. "I can show her around."
The coach looked at you and you nodded. "I know him."
"Good. Then I'll leave you with Nagase. Well, I'll be off." The coach waved his hand as everyone went off to their own thing.
"Hey, you made it!" Daisuke grinned.
"Hey, yourself." You grinned. "Now what am I supposed to do here?"
"Ah, yeah. You're the manager so it's your job to find us a game we can compete in, or so says coach. And I guess you also manage the whole team?"
"I thought you were supposed to show me the ropes." You quirked an eyebrow.
"Look, I don't know okay! It's not like I can carry all of this!" He yelled, making you flinch. He noticed and immediately his gaze softened.
"I'm sorry, I kinda got carried away, huh?"
Something tells you there's more than meets the eye here.
"It's okay. I'll just observe your team from the bench, you can continue practicing." Daisuke smiled and ran off to his teammates. You sat down on the bench and observed the team. They were quite short on players to make up the eleven needed for a real soccer team, but nonetheless, they showed excellent footwork and teamwork.
"What are you thinking about?" Izanami asked you.
"Just analyzing my team I have to manage. They're an interesting lot, especially that Daisuke." You replied to her. "If I'm gonna do this, I might as well know my team's strengths and weaknesses, right?"
Izanami nodded from the corner of your eye. "True."
>Meanwhile with Yosuke and Jiraiya...
"Okay, what's the point of me coming here?" Yosuke asked his Persona. They were both at the soccer field where the players were taking a water break.
"Oh, do you know that I was once a ninja back in my day?" Jiraiya said.
"You dragged me all the way here just for a history lesson?!" Yosuke half-yelled to his Persona so he wouldn't draw attention.
"No, it appears I still have some powers that I can use in the real world. Like so... You see those guys with the water containers?" He pointed at two players drinking water.
"Those are water bottles. And what of it?"
"Look at this." Jiraiya stayed silent and Yosuke was about to leave when he snapped his fingers, sending the bottles flying...
Onto you.
"What the f-" You exclaimed and stood up. Water dripped down onto your uniform, which made your curves and womanly charms more prominent.
Let's just say everyone had very red faces right now.
"I swear to god, I will murder everyone here who's staring at me!!!" You yelled, clearly mad and embarrassed. Due to the tone of your voice, everyone did as you were asked. You muttered profanities under your breath as you shivered from the water.
"Hmm... It's seems my theory was right after all." Jiraiya said, turning to Yosuke, who was beet-red now.
"Wh-You dragged me here just to prove a THEORY?!?!" Yosuke yelled to his Persona, averting his eyes from you.
“Hey, aren't you glad? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Besides, I learned that I can still use my powers, even though it's weak."
"She'll murder us if she finds out we're behind this!!!"
"And she won't. Trust me, I'm a... spirit of my word." Yosuke groaned and looked at you, who was still shivering. He sighed and took off his uniform jacket for your warmth but he stopped when he saw Daisuke putting his jersey jacket over your shoulders. You looked a little shocked and turned to thank him. He said something he couldn't hear and led you away from the field.
Yosuke furrowed his eyebrows. His chest felt so... tightened like twisting a towel tight. It was the same when Teddie hugged you in the TV world. He didn't like that feeling. He didn't like you being close to Daisuke.
"Hm? You have a strange look on your face, Yosuke." Jiraiya pointed out. Yosuke blinked and shook his head. He turned to his Persona, angry once again.
"Forget about me. Just keep this between you and me. No one else." He said.
"I told you. I'm a spirit of my word. Trust me on this that (Name) or Izanami will not find out about this."
>...
>... Yosuke and Jiraiya felt as if the air around them suddenly tensed.
"Izanami's right behind us, isn't she?" Jiraiya said.
"Yup." Yosuke said, popping the 'p'.
That's all they have to say before they were brutally dragged by the goddess.
>Back with you and Daisuke...
"Th-thanks once again, Daisuke-kun. I don't know what I'll do if I turned crazy even more." You shivered as he handed you a towel to dry your hair.
"It's no problem. But still... It's not like those two will just goof up like that..." Daisuke trailed off. You were wearing the P.E. uniform you thankfully brought with you just in case and kept it in your shoe locker in a bag. You dried your hair with the towel as Daisuke rubbed the soles of his shoes on the floor.
"Hey." Daisuke called out, making you look up at him. "Thanks again for volunteering as coach for the soccer team. To be honest, I really don't like girls but... You're pretty awesome."
You blinked at his straightforwardness but smiled. "Yeah. It's no problem at all." Suddenly you felt something being connected to your heart.

The same feeling that you had with Yosuke strengthened your heart as you formed another bond with Daisuke. "Well, I gotta go back. Will you be alright?"
You nodded. "Yeah, thanks for the consent."
"Hey, our manager has to be in tip-top shape if we ever have a game." There was something else in his voice that made you wonder. He was definitely hiding something. He waved his hand back and headed off outside. You neatly folded the towel and put it inside your gym bag. Placing it inside your locker, you prepared to go home until you've forgotten one thing,
"Ah! My school bag." You remembered, leaving it at the bench at the field. Before you could, Yosuke ran up to you, your bag in hand, and Personas with.
"Hey! Uh... You forgot this." Yosuke huffed, handing you your bag. You thanked him but noticed that he looked really tired, Jiraiya almost looked like a fried frog, and Izanami looked as if she hadn't noticed the changes in the two. Or ignoring it.
"Oh... Well, I was gonna go home already. Thanks for bringing me my bag back." You said, choosing to ignore their states for now.
"Oh! Let me walk you home. And it's no problem!" Yosuke smiled as he adjusted his bag. Being the gentleman he was, he opened the door for you and thus made your way back home.
"Umm... You're gonna hold your end of the bargain, right Izanami?" Jiraiya nervously asked her.
"Lucky for you I have some mercy. But do this act again and I won't hesitate to electrify you into oblivion."
Long story short, when Izanami dragged the two onto the roof, she fried Jiraiya, reprimanded Yosuke and threatening she'll tell you about this. But with a little bargain that Jiraiya will not look at another woman's features for at least a week (that's how merciful Izanami was) she agreed.
"So why did you ground me from seeing women? Is it perhaps... You are jealous?" Jiraiya prolonged the word, getting nearer to her face.
The moment she gripped her naginata, he was out of here.
Persona Time
The reason why Yosuke didn't do his math homework is because of reasons. This being so:
"Hmm... What to pick for club day..." Yosuke mumbled. He was in his room, forgotten math homework in his bag. Jiraiya floated around his room as usual.
"What is this 'club day' you speak of?" He asked his user.
"Uh... It's a day where the students pick whatever club they like, which is like an organization where people do anything that's relevant to whatever they like. Like... Sports for example." Yosuke explained. Jiraiya nodded and looked at Yosuke's desk. He was writing something in his notebook and normally he wouldn't have paid any attention but the hiragana for your name caught his eye.
"What are you writing Yosuke?" He dangerously peered closer to the notebook, not before Yosuke slamming it back with a blushing face.
"N-nothing! It's none of your business." Yosuke stammered.
"No use hiding it. I saw (Name)'s name in there." Jiraiya crossed his arms. Yosuke sighed and opened his notebook.
"I thought about what you said about the... Measurements of Yukiko and (Name), I couldn't help but think about... y'know." He blushed more.
"Aah... So you WERE thinking about them, eh?" Jiraiya smirked.
"SH-SHUT UP!!!" Yosuke yelled but smacked his mouth realizing that his parents were asleep. When he didn't hear anything, he let go of his mouth and sighed. "Look, when I saved her when Shadow Chie attacked they were so... So... Soft... Just, can't you help me out? I can't sleep if I don't know what I need to know."
"Okay okay, I get it. You don't have to keep it clean." Jiraiya made a 'stop-right-there' motion with his hand. "Look, all you have to do is sleep and wait for tomorrow. I'll be the one to handle it."
"But I told you-"
"Ah ah! I told you. Just go to sleep, and I'll be the one taking care of things."
Yosuke grumbled but heeded his Persona's words he got onto his bed and at least try to fall asleep.
‘Whatever he's planning, I hope it isn't a bad one.'

Wow, sorry this took so long thanks for waiting, and also thank you for taking the time to write a detailed ask^^ Tried something different with the pictures this time.
I pair you with Kou Mukami.
Kou finds your style very cute. He will go out and buy dresses that he think will look cute on you, and of course thigh highs. Don’t forget the thigh highs. Encourages you to get your hair dyed certain colors that he likes. Can’t really control himself when you dress up all cute like that, so be careful.
Loves when you cook for him. Nothing more satisfying than coming home to your cooking. He only eats the Vongolo Bianco (that’s it, right?) you make now. After a long day he likes to nap with you. What’s you to read aloud to him because your voice helps him doze off quicker.
It upsets him that you use to self harm but doesn’t hold it against you. Is a little paranoid that you might start doing it again during your periods of depression, so he tries to stay in the same room as you during this time. Tries his best to comfort you, but loses patience easily when you don’t better better quickly. He’ll apologize though, and try his best to make you feel better. He used to complain of how much of a push over you were but once he saw how angry you could get he hasn’t says that since .
Cats, cats everywhere! No seriously Kou loves that you two share a love for cats, so he of course bought you a cat. Buys you cats ears to wear around the house. Even bought you thigh highs with cats on them.
Appreciates that you like to try new things when it comes to the bedroom. Pet play…here and there, and a little bit of the bondage. He likes your confidence around him. It shows you trust him enough to show your true self. Knows how smart you are, and funds your intelligence very attractive.
You met Kou at the clothing store surprisingly. You were shopping, pretty much just minding your own business when a shady person began to browse the cloths beside you. He was wearing glasses and a hat inside, which was pretty weird to you. Even so, you minded your own business and continued shopping. Suddenly a few girls came up to the shady male squealing happily. “Are you Kou Mukami?” One of the me squealed. You raised an eyebrow at them, for you had no idea who that was. “You are aren’t you? What are you doing in a place like this? How about we hang out together,” the girls continued to invade Kou’s space. You were a little annoyed at the girls antics, but resumed your shopping. Consequently though you felt someone suddenly grabs you by the waist pulling you close. You looked up to see that the make now had you In his grasp. Kou quickly removed the hat and sunglasses causing the girls to squeal in excitement. “Sorry ladies, but I was just about to go on a date with my girlfriend,” Kou lied kidding your forehead. You froze. What’s with this guy. You attempted to pull away but Kou pulls you even closer before whispering, “Please play along.” You calmed down a bit but you still kept your guard up. The girls sent glares your way as Kou continued to lie to them. “Now if you’ll excuse me we are going to get lunch,” he said. The two of you made your way out of the store and Kou releases you. He thanked you for your help, and you gave him a faint nod still confused. “Hey would like an autograph?” He asked you taking out a pen. You shook your head, “No thanks I don’t need it.” Kou stopped and stared at you as if you grew horns. “Hm? Aren’t you a fan of mine?” He questioned. You were beyond irritated at this point. “I don’t even know who you are I just wanted to shop,” you retorted. Kou was taken a back but quite amused with your attitude. He smiled saying, “Okay okay I see well then I owe you a favor now so,” he paused writing something down on a piece of paper before handing it to you. “Here’s my number so call me when you need a favor…after all this is a give or take world.” With that he takes his leave. As he walks away he turns around and shouts, “By the way that skirt would look totally sexy on you!” You stood there not really knowing if what just happened was real or not. You gripped the paper tightly swearing that you wouldn’t call that weirdo. At least that’s what you said…..
Weeks past and you did end up calling him. You’d been having problems with a stalker, and the male followed home one day. Scared you stopped at a store to dial Kou’s number. He gladly came to help you acting as your boyfriend in front of the stalker. You were spruced that that was all it took to get rid of the stalker….However, a few days later you found out on the news that the man who stalked you died in a car accident. While you were quite happy not to have to deal with him anymore you felt a little bad. Needless to say after your situation Kou claimed that you owed him for getting rid of your stalker. While you weren’t sure what he meant he told you the best way to repay him was with a date.
Since then you two hanged out a lot more. Going to parks, or simply just staying home chilling. Kou felt very happy around you, and your personality was very different from what he was used to, but he was quite happy that he found someone like you.
Interested in you…Ruki Mukami.
Ruki wasn’t happy to find himself attracted to you. For one you were dating his brother and two you were very weird to him. He found your introverted nature very unpleasant and didn’t quite understand what caused him to like you. That is until he saw you blow up this one time. Kou pushed some buttons and it ended badly. While you did apologize Ruki was still shocked that you were able to fuss at Kou like that. You acted one way but could change to another a little bit like Kou. Ruki was a bit surprised Kou didn’t yell back, let alone hit you. He was quite perplexed with the trust Kou had in you. This made him curious. How would you react if he was in control of you. How long would take for you to submit exactly? Very intrigued he did want to take you fit himself, but refuses to do so out of respect for his brother. Even with saying this I wouldn’t recommend you sit in a room alone with Ruki..

This is just my personal rant. I just finished ‘seems-fine-manga-turns out-a lil-shit-in the end’ kind of manga.

Educational purposes (life’s experiences)
Our main charas’s designed to have some painful past memories and traits, a death of our loved, unrequited love, unable to express our feelings, introverts, shy, etc. Its a common things and very humane; teenagers/HS students (mostly) have their first adult-to be-experienced in this timeline.
There’s no exact period when and which we could overcome those feelings, maybe a lifetime, maybe 3 mos, maybe years; who knows. It different with each other. But the important things are our willingness to let go the past, learn from our mistakes, and move forward to the future.
Forever but not really forever
Shoujous manga typically selling fluffy dreams, way too fluffy and occasionally way too stupid to read. I have read many shoujous manga that I dont want to read because it way too stupid. In this case, josei or any mature-ish mangas is much better.
Shoujous manga have this kind of philosophy, ‘your first love is gonna be forever and ever’. A simple reality form of classic fairy tale.
I rarely saw a shoujou manga which had a failed first love, overcome it, and obtain a new love. If there’s one, fans sometimes have their majority vote to ship female oc with 1st lead mc. Well, since shoujous type reader range from 13-18 yo, no wonder the stroyline was dreamy like.
It takes a lot of courage for shoujous mangaka to make a new POV for shoujous readers. Otherwise, their new projects unable to sell. In the end of the day, it comes back to money, eh?
* Plot
Plot wise, it’s very good. The plot is straight forward and each characters able to make a significant development. The main setting is about male high school (in deserted dorm) and their love story.
I able to grasp the author’s core in this story:
ability to take a chance
ability to let go and step forward
a strong willful of human being
friendship and loyalty toward it

The characters design are great , eventho the style wasnt your typical shoujo style (wide eyes and detailed hairstyle). The style itself is simple but we able to understand the whole story.
The relationship between characters drawn very well. Maybe because the author wrote it in male pov, there’s sometimes a scene/dialogue that shown in male pov. It doesnt feel like shounen-ish manga, but almost like a real life male pov.
Each characters have their personal problems and background, but they manage to live in harmony in dorms and solve their daily problems. Disini juga digambarin kalo misalnya seseorang punya masalah itu, ga ada gunanya kalo disimpen sendiri, with sharing to our friends, we able to take step forward with their support. Still the choice to make still upon themself. What a beautiful of friendship!
imo, this is why i love man friendship rather than female friendship.
* Dialogue
I cant say much about this, since it was not an official translation. But, the humor they make sounds plausible to reader to understand. They have occasionally male high school jokes on it, which silly but entertaining. I guess this is the most fun part (for me).
Negative Traits
I pretty much understand, because this is a MANGA (a shoujo to boot), THE CHARAS MUST HAVE A GOOD ENDING, NO MATTER WHAT (business stuff, I know), but OH COME ON!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?
I totally pissed. Betraying and cheating is not cool. And with your best friend? Just to fucking heal your-oh-so-deep-past-scar-cus-our-important-person-didnt-understand-ours !!? yeah right, KISS MY ASS!!!
tbh, i hope the author can wrap the ending more realistic, it sucks. like everyone can really forgiven their best friend betrayal. even though Kamiki and Takano affair didnt emphasize what they’ve been doing for the past 4 months, but God know it was an affair afterall.
So, Author-san, did they for the past 4 mos comforting each other with:
secret phonecalls - what? they just talking about their pain?
secret meeting - hmm? just having a dine in and talk about some painful moments/feelings? or did you guys comfort physically too?
petty talk - i understand your loneliness, and i hope we can fix it together even tho we dont love each other (we have bf/gf).
wow, talk about some serious bullshit here.
I dont think that Takano and Kamiki have a platonic relationship. The Author hints too many mysterious and WTF moments between em. Moreover, WHAT WITH THAT BLUSHED FACE!!!!

And in the end, it turns their affair wasnt that big deal. They simply forgiven because Kamiki have a knight complex and Takano just studied abroad, they comforting each other while doing nothing wrong (talk about self justification here).
Dude, you missing the point. It’s not what you supposed to do in a relationship. That way of thinking is what all betrayers do (and thought) all over the world. You dont trust and respect your original partner in all manner accounts. You just completely disregard their true values, their feelings and somehow put them in a whole different dimension. You think you doing this for their sake, but whose sake we really talking about?!
To make it worse, even their own friends; Genda, Nogami, and Hanai - in unison that ‘their’ affair happen for some important reason and Maki and Fuyuka should forgive ‘em. YEAH RIGHT. TELL ME STRAIGHT TO MY FACE IF THERE’S ANY IMPORTANT REASON FOR ALL AFFAIRS IN THE WORLD.
OVERALL THOUGHT
This manga kinda complicated for me, i like it but at the same time i hate it. So maybe someday, I will give it a try to read it again; eventually like it. But for now, I just gonna avoid it as much.
Personally, this is was a quite good manga. The characters, plot, and artwork quite my liking. This is a shoujou manga but in the beginning it has a shounen ai tone (eventually it’s gone after the 2nd volume till end). I love such a setting, all boys dorm with many ikemen around, and it reminded me with Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike! (Miyuki Abe) Well, tbh i kinda hope it turns more soft BL tho hahaha.
It started very good, a lot of humors side (daily life at boys dorms, school and friendship - totally hilarious), romance (those very typical high school), and slice of life. The climax was unexpected, but still good; well at least the Author able to make me swearing a lot at this chapter (hey, I’m praising her here). But seriously, the ending was totally SHIT.

oh my goodness.......... li zhenning’s voice shaking as he says to shi mingze “if you can get into top 20, then you’ll have hope” is.... the most heartbreaking......... knowing that shi mingze doesnt.......... they literally were smiling as they went off into this corner to talk and are crying by the time they come out..... can you just imagine how much sadness and stress is constantly looming over these kids’ heads and tearing down at their mental health?? its all hidden and suppressed, but with really fragile borders, so as soon as you pick at the walls, their raw emotions come bursting through...
this just reminds me that even tho shi mingze is their cool, handsome leader, hes still the youngest in bg project............
can we please talk about how considerate of a friend li zhenning is and has been??
and this all took place before zhenning ever ranked into top 9.... so to them, this opportunity wouldve been really important for zhenning too, bc maybe he wouldve really needed it to get into top 9. but at least we know now.... he has enough popularity that they made the correct choice and hopefully more people will notice shi mingze as a result
