What instantly tells you if a person is good? this is probably way too deep, but when i started typing out "there's no way to spot that immediately" and thought about an explanation, like, there's stuff hidden away........... no, it's even more than that. nobody's really good, everyone has their bad parts. you just need to find out if you can deal with these parts - for example, i noticed this because often, i can't stand ''''''nice''''' people because they can be really pretentious.

#edit: i did go to munich last weekend because football and i tried a bunch of restaurants #it was super exhausting and my knee hurt for several days #but it was really nice #went to a cat cafe. which isn't as spectacular as i thought but hey! i did it!#found a mexican place which is really good #accidentally went to the wrong korean restaurant - i wanted to visit one i've already been to but ended up at a new one #they were FAST (in augsburg i waited like 2h once so now i'm wary) and the food was good #but then the owner threw us out bcs more people were coming #won't come back thx :)))))#and then we went to a chinese place and there were a lot of chinese guests which is quite a good sign #and they had handmade noodles and were really friendly and the food was pretty good and the price too #and then i noticed if we didn't leave within like 5 minutes we'd miss our train home and had to wait for another hour #but the cute waiter struck up a conversation bcs he saw our fca stuff :)))))) which was sweet but boi i need to catch my train #there were so many people talking to us bcs of our fca stuff oh boi social interactions maxxxxed out and stuff #i want to do another food trip but not too soon. i need to recover from this trip

to please not bring it over here I severely overestimated how fast I can eat all of these beef dishes I made help me

#I cooked for the week as normal but FORGOT my dad likes going out to dinner #so my sister and I got like. restaurant or fast food on multiple days #and now I have so many leftovers and a time limit #I made steak bites w/ gnocchi (bc I wanted to try gnocchi)#'Korean' ground beef for rice (which just means it has soy sauce mixed w/ brown sugar and red pepper flakes)#and now homemade meatballs bc the OTHER beef was gonna go bad #help.

got a call from my eomma and apparently one of her coworkers kids is interested in learning korean and long story short my eomma thinks id be a good fit for teaching her. its honestly really sweet to hear and tbh im interested in doing it so i think i have a student now

#kage rattles #itll only be once a week and its not gonna be SUPER strict or anything so im hopeful #an extra 10$ a week will be nice. even if its not overly useful its treat money or something #something to fall back on if i need dinner one day or something bc i can go out and nab some cheap shitty fast food or sumn #btw for beloved close friends if you ever want me to teach you how to say something or write it or even just like. the alphabet or whatever #in korean id be happy to. i like talking about language and exchanging language knowledge its so cool to me #plus ngl it feels really nice to hear that my koreans good enough that id make a good teacher for it FROM the very person who taught me #even if its my mom like. idk shes a native speaker so it felt good to hear

i am still thinking about that americanisation post bc what else can a girl do and i was thinking about the tags that comment on US fast food chains that they have never been to and yet know so much about and i was reminded of the fact that according to my friend, chuck e cheese is coming to Australia

#there is a taco bell at a train station i frequent and i just cannot bring myself to go in there #i actually almost refuse #in the sense that like if i wanted mexican fast food theres mad mex and gyg here already and i really dont need it #and even though i have heard so much about taco bell and all and am curious i dont want to feed the americanisation of it all #also its in an asian district which is even worse like i want dumplings or udon or korean chicken if i go there #not taco bell #its just a personal thing i set where im like #“you already know too much about the us and their fast food culture when you really shouldn't and you have better options (gyg)”#if this makes sense? like going in there is letting the media dominance win #americanisation

Ohh well for me the toughest part about living alone is coming home devastated and knowing that you still have to prepare a meal for yourself.

#going back and forth between just not eating at all and staving myself till tomorrow when i‘ve got more energy #and trying to scrap my last energy together to prep at least some bread or idk what #but man #its the worst when you‘re low budget and dont even own any fast food lol #its def healthier but also def a thousand times harder to survive sometimes *cries in korean*#my arms are dead #its my own fault #i chose to go climbing knowing that an empty kitchen and #would be waiting for me #but enough ranting #i think i collected enough energy to finally get up and eat some bread with honey at least #alhamdulillah #yxc
