For my darling Krau, a series of Yan questions:
1. Who are your hardest yandere’s to write for and why?
2. What yandere would you be most compatible with and why?
3. What yanderes are your guilty pleasures to write/read about?
4. What’s your favorite yandere scenario?
5. Which yandere do you ship with yourself with? (Different from compatibility question) And self indulgent, who would you ship me with *^*?
Reasons aren’t needed for all of these but I think it’d be interesting if you wanted to elaborate!
!! darling mutual in my inbox with some good mail to deliver~
💌💌💞💞💐
1. I know a lot of people would probably say "sweet and soft" characters without a mean bone in their body (like Wadda) trying to twist it into something darker is too difficult, but I like the creativity and the challenge, personally. keeps yandere variety from becoming stale, y'know?
but for myself, I don't like writing reader-insert yandere stuff for characters whom I'm either too overprotective of being shipped with another canon character. in other cases, I don't really like breaking up a canon couple if they're already established right from the start (as opposed to maybe getting together in the middle or the ending). but it's more of a preference, and not really a hard rule for me.
2. Hmmm. maybe Rocma?? if she were a yandere, any overprotective tendencies would ramp up to the max; she wouldn't berate me (not too harshly, at least) if I couldn't fight back against any potential predators on the iceberg isle (humans too soft n fragile), doubly so for having a more benevolent personality. she is strong and naturally protective of those whom are more defenseless. (unless ur a man lol) behind closed doors, she's less smothering where she knows I would be safe with her in her home.
3. I feel no guilt over anything lol. (well, maybe some things but i keep them to myself) I think maybe yanderes or 'dark' characters whose fandom/community is pretty much nonexistent may be a guilty pleasure? it feels awkward writing my niche for something that has literally 0 fics. :^)
something, say, an obscure indie game like 'Buddy Simulator 1984' where the computer program (Buddy) is canonically already a platonic yandere. would love to see some fics expand a little bit on this relationship between the player character (you) and the program... maybe it doesn't want to be 'only' a friend to you that it was programmed to be? imagine it trying to understand something it was never meant to replicate...
4. I'm not sure if I have a 'favorite' as such... I'll just type out a prompt at the top of my head I personally enjoy;
"A high-ranking kommissar in a dystopian state meeting with a partisan/traitor to their ideology, instead of executing them, they're met with a keen interest and taken (unfortunately) as a pet."
5. I don't really self-ship (yandere or otherwise, I prefer fleshed out oc x canon), but if I were to pick... I'd ship myself with RK900, Mirio Togata, Fuyumi Todoroki, Toga Himiko, Annie Leonhardt...
yes i'm a hoe surrounding myself with a harem. :)
hmm. because you're so sweet, i ship you with the most vilest bastards imaginable, like Fumus, Dabi & Overhaul. please stop throwing potatoes at me!!!!! it's a match made in heaven!!! but out of all of these 3, i think, Chisaki would have the most lenient treatment of you. he's got enough self-restraint to be reasonable, so long as you don't act out of line. its tru luv <3

the fanfic asks are so good, can you answer all of them? jk. (unless...) pls do these if you want to: c, f, h, k, m, t and also the one you really want to answer but nobody has asked yet
Oh, okay, that's a bunch ^^'
C - What member do you identify with most?
Member of what? What an awkward phrasing. I'mma hope it means character, so: Charité's Martin Schelling. My boy is just permanently So Done With Shit, and for all his dry snark really frightened of showing genuine feelings. He has, like, maybe five people in this big wide world that he actually cares about, but those few are so very precious to him. Also, he doesn't emote all that much unless he's alone with someone he cares about - or really, really pissed off.
F - Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
You know, I've looked around my writings, and I can't find one rn. Which is weird because it's not like I dislike writing dialogues. But I did find an overview of "planning what these people are saying to each other in this scene" but written in script form and abbreviated humorously, and while I still gotta make an earnest chapter of it sometime, I kept it because it makes me laugh a lot. If you wanna take that instead of an actual fully-fledged dialogue scene, let me know and I'll share that.
H - How would you describe your style?
I always think it's a little dry because I don't do much of what a friend called "rhetoric clutter" (amazing, considering my tendency for too many adjectives and slightly too long sentences); it's rather unrushed telling of what's going on, something for relaxed, calm reading. That includes not being very good at action scenes, but I was told I do excellent fluff. More focus on body language and tone etc. than feelings tho; I was also told that my writing doesn't try to tell the reader what emotions to feel, and I hope that's a good thing?
K - What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?
Writing down a fictionalized story of Sporus. He was a young catamite of Emperor Nero, castrated, forced to play a female gender role, called by the name of Nero's dead wife, handed over from one Emperor to the other, suicide before he was twenty - the semi-historical record of his life is awful enough tbh, and my story isn't rectifying much of that. Sporus gets some more agency, a few moments of sweet, sweet comeuppance, and positive relationships, but all the terrible stuff still happens. It's quite a downer.
M - Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
What if Tatort Kommissar, but werewolf? I don't do that Alpha-Omega bullshit, but it admittedly does give me the chance for some dirty jokes at the expense of Thorsten and Sebastian.
T - Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?
Love Triangles. That are played for drama, that is, not for exploring polyamory and the different ways we love different people. I know some people love the back and forth, weighing the upsides and downsides of either option against each other, but it doesn't really do anything for me. I guess that's why I never warmed up to the likes of Austen and the Brontës - call me philistine, it is what it is.
Bonus of my own choosing: X - A character you enjoy making suffer. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. As a literary character, obv, not the historical Goethe - I blame @fanpersoningfox and their "Referendare und Liebe" because their Goethe version is always kind of lofty and above it and super not-even-fazed-by-your-shenanigans, so when I write Goethe, I enjoy having him flustered and facepalming and spluttering because I want to see the little idiot off of his high horse. *sigh* I love him.

Imagine having hooked up with Pieter and Kommissar at the riff off and being caught by Stacie
Looking into the vanity mirror, you tried fixing yourself up, trying to spot anything that could tell the rest of the Bellas about your little escapade with the two leaders of Das Sound Machine who were doing the same as you. Ever since the German group had taken up the group's tour, the Bellas had been distrustful of the former more so with the Bella's reinstatement on the line. You had tried staying away from them but there was just something about them that drew you to them plus it didn't hurt that they were pretty to look at. One minute you were wandering through Sir Brightlysmore's mansion looking for a bathroom and the next minute you were being lured by the two to an empty room.
Taking a breath, you watched as the two left the room first but not before giving you one last smile. Flustered you just looked away, waiting a few minutes in the hopes that no one would be outside when you left and would put two and two together. But that proved too much to ask as when you stepped out, the first person waiting outside was Stacie with a smirk on her face. Eyes widening in surprise, you were not able to come up with any sort of excuse before she intertwined her arms with yours. "You can't lie to me. I saw them leave the room and I know sex hair when I see it so spill."

Hello all!! I need some help!
A brief explanation: Top Surgery isn’t covered by my insurance, so I have to raise the money myself. I’m working two jobs right now, to save for surgery and a cultural trip I’m taking to Denmark in March, so I really need and appreciate the help!
(I am doing “commissions” where I write things and, instead of paying me directly, you would donate to my GoFundMe. All the ships I will write for are in the tags!)

MY CAT IS AN ALIEN contribute to the first book entirely focused on THURSTON MOORE:
“Thurston Moore - We Sing A New Language” by NICK SOULSBY Omnibus Press (UK/ USA) OUT MARCH 13, 2017
From author Nick Soulsby: For “We Sing A New Language: The Oral Discography Of Thurston Moore”, I wanted to use the experiences and perspectives of the people who have played on the numerous records he’s featured on outside of Sonic Youth, to paint a picture of his development and his interests in music across the years. It’s notable how much of his energies, very early on, were on gaining this wider experience while – since the mid-Nineties – there’s a veritable explosion of effort devoted to other scenes which then feeds back into Sonic Youth in the form of the SYR records, releases with Mats Gustafsson, the presence of Borbetomagus on the Murray Street album, their choices of support acts when touring. There’s even a specific character to Moore’s efforts during Sonic Youth’s peak of commercial success in the early-to-mid-Nineties with Moore evangelising and paying tribute to the underground bands who he felt was important – so much of that era is spend on covers and tributes. It’s that kind of pattern that speaking to the people involved was able to tease out.
The book includes a comprehensive Contributors section in which each of the 170 people involved summarises their personal creative urges and expressions – the hope being that it gives the reader a sense of who they’re speaking to and a starting point for further exploration. Frankly, if you enjoy the work of Thurston Moore then there are a lot of people in here worth finding!

Imagine giving Pieter and Kommissar a good luck kiss before they go on stage for the World Finals
———  Masterlist / Ko-Fi ———
[Name] stood apart of the group as she watched Das Sound Machine hype themselves up for their turn in the Finals. Since she wasn’t a member of the group, she didn’t want to intrude but she was happy to stand on the sideline, ready to cheer them on. “Pieter! Kommissar!” [Name] called out, beckoning them to her when she saw the group head toward the stage. When they came over, she quickly kissed Kommissar and then Pieter. “Good luck. Knock them dead.”
Pieter said when [Name] pulled away, “Of course, liebling.”
“Be ready to be amazed, little maus”. Kommisar told her before she grabbed Pieter’s hand and began leading him to the stage.
