Kindness really is a superpower.

I just need a moment to spill some ramblings about just how amazing complete strangers can be sometimes.

Oh, I can be an insecure, anxious wreck. On days when it's really bad, I have learned how to simulate normalcy at least to an extent that would allow me to fit in with no questions asked, but it's always an internal struggle. 

Recently, however, I'm loving the drive I have to continue my small business and the adventure of creativity. I'm loving the idea that I can actually accept myself the way I am. And I'm still shocked by all this newfound determination to FINALLY change the vicious cycle and take into consideration that yes, I am absolutely worthy. I am worthy of making my dreams come true, and I am worthy of love. And damn it, I'm beautiful. 

 And as someone with social phobia and too much skepticism, I never imagined that, in addition to the love/support from friends and family, I now feel so empowered, positive, and loved because of complete strangers and their unbelievable kindness. 

To think that this whole time, I was terrified of putting myself out there or even being seen, only to find out, quite simply, that kindness exists in droves! It's just a matter of being brave enough to witness it. 

Now, I'm not saying my issues are gone, or the fear is gone, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the world isn't as ugly as I always thought it was. So, thank you kind strangers. Thank you so much.
