The core premise of Wedding Impossible isn’t working. The whole plot would make A LOT more sense if Ji Han knew that Do Han’s relationship is fake, but he doesn’t! Which means his choice to pursue Ah Jeong and attempt to destroy his brother’s happiness is despicable. And Ah Jeong is not acting like someone with a fiancé she is loyal to, she is being way too casual about his interference. She’s not playing the part the way she is meant to be doing.
Luckily, I am here mostly for Do Han so I don’t really care. But there are some baffling choices in the way they are writing the main romance.
The Eighth Sense post-canon drabbles because I'm so obsessed with them I'm going to chew my way through my bedframe if I don't get it out of my system.
Chapter 1: Jaewon introduces Jihyun to his friends and Taehyung doesn't understand why Jihyun gets on with everybody except him.
Something I love is when idols get to have cameos of their careers, talents, or other characters in their work. One of my favorite examples is how ‘Heartbeat’ by 2PM, is referenced in dramas which star members of the group. It’s such an iconic song and is such a popular 2nd gen one that everyone knows (or definitely should).
Ok Taecyeon of 2PM as Jang Han-seok/Jang Joon-woo in the drama, ‘Vincenzo’ (2021)
Also in ‘Vincenzo’ we see two other members of 2PM, Nickhyun and Chansung cameo, as well, as two characters in a drama that Joon-woo watches.
In the drama ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?’ (2018), Hwang Chan-sung of 2PM played the character Go Gwi-nam, who gave a hilarious homage to his group and their hit song ‘Heartbeat’ by singing in front of his coworkers in an embarrassing but ever so entertaining scene.
That’s about it! If you know of any more references let me know!
Already loving this show. Korean BLs are at their best. Just imagine the power Korean storytelling, cinematography and acting can hold if they started releasing bls on a large scale. Thailand would be left behind.
