Book review! 4 stars When I first read the synopsis on Bookish First I knew I'd be using my points to get this. One of the main characters, Veronica, suffers from blinding migraines as a result of a brain tumor and as someone who suffers from chronic daily headaches and chronic migraines I had already formed a small kinship. Veronica and Sawyer are two teenagers who should be on the verge of starting their next stage of life...instead Veronica has a brain tumor that seems to be growing and Sawyer is supposed to be the golden boy with the golden future but his life is anything but golden. A school project brought them together and set them on a course neither one saw coming at all. This YA contemporary romance was as beautiful as it was sad and haunting ( and not just because Veronica can see ghosts). I found Veronica to be an incredibly brave and beautiful young woman and while her story was sad, Sawyer's broke my whole heart. These two should have been 17 going on 18 not 40. Making decisions that are hard to make as an adult, but it was that maturity that came into play when they both had to make those hard decisions. Does anyone else win an ARC and then read it after the book has been out for a while? That's what happened with Say You'll Remember Me. Но я не могу найти к этой книге правильных слов. Начнем с того, что Бет как героиня не понравилась мне еще в Раздвигая границы. В А тебе слабо мнение о ней не сильно поменялось. Ну может быть чуть-чуть. Меня прям до бешенства доводили эпизоды с ее матерью, но с другой стороны это показывает Бет как очень сильную личность. Она могла пожертвовать своим счастьем ради другого человека. Райан. Лучший в бейсболе, да еще и из богатой семьи. Но за фасадом счастливого семейного благополучия скрывается страшная тайна. И все в этой семье не так уж и счастливы. И вот они встретились, но она его сразу же отшила. Но он воспылал к ней чувствами, но и попутно решил пари выиграть. Даже очень вдумчиво читая книгу, так и не поняла откуда у героев возникли друг к другу чувства. Но любовная линия и не главная в этой серии книг. Тут больше про взаимоотношения между людьми. О их проблемах и какие усилия они прилагают, чтобы с этими проблемами справится. Книга сама по себе не плоха, но для меня на фоне первой части, намного слабее. Hey everyone! I wanted to give an update. I am working on editing a new book, and as of this second, I'm planning on releasing it sometime in spring 2021. This is a book that gave me absolute joy to write. It made me happy from beginning to end. It's a book that my critique partners have all called me gushing about. It's a book that I have decided not to shop around to publishers, and I'm going to publish it myself. Stay tuned for more details! I sold my first book in 2010, published my first book in 2012. Since then, I've released one to two books a year along with writing various novellas. I love writing, but I've been a bit slower at it over the past two years. The main reason is because, after someone in my family became ill, I took time off to help care for them, and then once they were better, the pandemic hit and my twins started their senior year of high school. I'm back to writing, but not as fast because I decided to spend as much time with my twins as I can. Soaking up all the nights in front of the TV together, soaking up making chocolate chips cookies in the kitchen with them, soaking up all the laughter and the smiles as both of them are hoping to go to school several hours away from where we live next year. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still writing, that I'm still thinking of all of my wonderful readers, and I hope to have a new book to share with you soon! I've posted a picture of one of my favorite sunsets. It's a picture that brings me much joy so I thought I would share!
