Okay so I know we all know those super cool Tumblr accounts who make DC fanart of these super cool AUs that nobody has ever thought of and they draw them too.

I am not one of them. I can’t draw for shit, so feel free to make this idea into some art idrc. Just please credit the idea, and if not, I’m not the police so I don’t really care. Thanks

(American) Football AU: The Justice League used to be star players in their teens and early adulthood, eventually coaching their own small team of new athletes. The Young Justice team. I don’t know much about American football in reality, but I know it’s good if you’re fast and strong. So uh, why not make the YJ team some football players, ya know? Dick eventually went on to play solo in another city, and the team found a new ‘Robin’ to play on their team. Dick came back and helped the coaches with the Young Justice team from time to time. Im sort of sticking with S1, and just Tim from S2 of YJ so I don’t over complicate this stuff? I think it’s better just to have the original team but that’s just me.

Kaldur has a few strengths and weaknesses on the field, he’s the best to play when it’s raining or even just damp outside in general. He dehydrates easily so he always needs to bring a few extra water bottles to practice and games.

Dick, during his time on the team, was easily the smallest on the field but the hardest to catch. He’s very agile, light on his feet and very slippery. Only a few people have ever managed to tackle him in game.

Wally is easily the fastest on the team, and even competing teams know that they can’t match his speed. In this AU, no Wally isn’t a speedster and neither is the Flash- but he’s still fast because that’s a major part of his character.

M’gann is insanely good at guessing what peoples tactics are going to be or what the other team’s play is going to be next. She’s good at practically sliding through people’s grasps, but this AU is still a WIP so I don’t know if I wanna keep her as a football player or as a cheerleader. Feel free to add recommendations.

Conner is easily one of the biggest and strongest you’ll find on the field. He’s pretty good at just barreling into people and using his brute strength.

Artemis has the best aim out of all of them, unless I decide to include Red Arrow later on. But for now, she has the best aim and can throw the farthest.

Tim, when he finally joined, had the same abilities as Dick did when he was little though was definitely less acrobatic. Tim’s one of the smartest there, good with the calculations of the field and such.

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

I actually don't have a lot of preferences for which scenes get fanart! Like with comments, I feel super blessed that people want to make any art of my stuff at all, and I really enjoy seeing what moments or imaginary particularly inspired/stood out to other people.

There are a few art pieces/ multi-panel comics that I want to do for Deathly Weapons (Kaldur diving off the rig in Mission 1, a gag comic inspired by your lovely Wally art, a couple of pieces for the upcoming Mission 5 etc) but for those ones it's more that I have a very specific vision for how I want the composition/ layout/ pacing/ lighting/ general "visual direction" to go. I can be pretty picky/ perfectionist-y about my own art pieces so I'd want to handle those myself or at least make sure I was paying commission to anyone who had to deal with that.

As for your own inspo/ prompts I believe you once mentioned having an idea for the Alfred scene of Chapter 15 👀?
