Kaeys was obviously lying to look more naive and ignorant regarding his past to Dainsleif, even Dainsleif doesn’t 100% buy it, it contradicts with his ingame story and how he he dealt with the Abyss Order before.

I am pretty sure what remained of Khaenri'ah converted to the Abyss Order

Once again I myself am yet to play the quest. But since I don't care for the spoilers, I've seen the clips and am aware of the contents of the quest, though mostly regarding Kaeya. And I am going to read all the wikis regarding the Albrich Clan. Laying this info out just so I can say "But maybe I'm just missing something"

(NB! This kinda ended up longer than I wanted and sort of wheeled off to other directions and became a full-blown theory post, but but please stay with me, I think I might have cracked the code)

Anyway, I have been thinking about something similar!!!

The quest played out in a way that it implies Kaeya to be in the dark about his linage and the history of his descent. The way he handled the convo, how he was surprised, and how he let out some info and yet didn't know about some other things. It seems almost as if all Kaeya had been told was that he was a khaenri'ahn and the rest of info he has learned and explored himself.

That seems awfully weird and wrong for someone who's supposed to be "The Last Hope of Khaenri'ah". Like, you're telling me your "last hope" is a child who doesn't know about his lineage and barely knows suff about Khaenri'ah. Yet knows (implied in-game) hillichurlian and how to identify a pure-blooded Khaenri'ahn (there's probably more). Idk, seems like sending a spy on a mission without telling them the info/giving them the evidence regarding the mission.

The biggest red flag in his situation is I think – If Kaeya knows this little about Khaenri'ah and overall has little connection to the place, THEN WHY WOULD HE CARE SO MUCH.

Why would he be so torn between Monstadt and Khaenri'ah?

Why would he be so scared of a war between the two sides?

Why would he care about a nation that, A doesn't exist anymore, and B a nation he simply has some blood ties to.

If he wasn't aware of something big and deep, why does he have such a hard time letting go off his Khaenri'ahn past?

To explain potentially why, I've come up with some possible explanations:

As you've said. Kaeya bluffed it all. As usual, he played with the truth. He's actually aware of the baggage clinging to his surname. He was acting unaware, to push aside and cover up the possibly huge role he's been given. "I'm an Albrich...Oh, I don't know anything about my lineage and their plans, how could I possibly be of any threat :)"

And while this is highly possible and I think to a certain extent Kaeya was holding back some info definitely and acting unaware. I've stumbled upon some info that has guided me to form a wider and more extensive theory.

Kaeya truly or at least partially wasn't aware of the full extent of the info regarding his lineage. Because Kaeya's father was the first to bend the truth and cherry-picked what he told his son. So Kaeya's reaction was sort of genuine but he also left out all the stuff he does know. Basically the truth from his side. The truth of who his lineal and direct ancestor is!

Back in the hidden strife event, we learn that Kaeya's dad told Kaeya that the Albrich Clan took up as the regents for King Irmin when he couldn't keep ruling.

Reading the Albrich Clans wiki, I've discovered that in Sumeru, while exploring the abandoned Golems, we as the players learn of the Schwanenrotters, who were led by Knight Marshal Anfortas, WHO ALSO declared himself the Marshal REGENT Anfortas after King Irmin became "indisposed."

Anfortas led his army in the Cataclysm and fought heavily against the dark beasts. Yet it's said that Anfortas fate remains unknown after the bigger events.

I think it's safe to assume Kaeya's dad is referencing the same person, which connects Anfortas to the Albrich lineage and basically makes him the ancestor mentioned in Kaeya's letters.

Anfortas and Clothar both existed at the same time during the Cataclysm, meaning they could not be descendants of each other unless they were in a parental-child relationship. So they were brothers or cousins at best. At this moment I'd add that Clothar, while being of noble class was not close to the king, while Anfortas was (he basically replaced the king). And due to Clothars relationship with a Monstadt commoner, which his family and the Clan weren't too fond of, Clothar was pretty much cast out from the Clan/Family.

Based on all these connections and the fact that Kaeya's dad mentions Anfortas of all the ancestors. I believe that while Clothar is one of the ancestors, but probably a collateral one. It's Anfortas, from whom Kaeya's dad and Kaeya are lineal descendants. And the reason why Kaeya wasn't aware of Clothars exitance or more so his fate, was because the Albrich Clan basically cast him out due to Clothar having a relationship with a commoner Monstadter. So Clothar could potentially be like the weird uncle who your family doesn't speak about.

So Kaeya's dad didn't tell Kaeya about one of their ancestors Clothar being the founder of the Abyss Order, because:

a.) Kaeya's dad genuinely didn't know about Clothar's existence or fate

b.) Kaeya's dad was aware of Clothars existence and fate, but didn't feel it to be of such importance to tell his son. Since their not direct descendants of him. Or he didn't want to spoil the mood with such heavy baggage.

c.) Kaeya's dad was aware of Clothars existence and fate, but due to the Clan having cast Clothar out, their Clan is forbidden to talk about him.

BUT LET'S KEEP GOING FURTHER!! :D

Theoretically, Anfortas could also possibly be Kaeya's Grandfather.

Because going back to way beginning. In Kaeya's story quest, we kind of learn about Kaeya's grandfather. The ever-popular

"Look at my eye patch! I inherited it from my grandfather and this is solid proof that we are related by blood!"

line becomes pretty meaningful in a newer context. This means Kaeya's grandpa had an eyepatch which possibly implies an injured eye.

Well well, Anfortas also had an injured eye, more specifically he injured it during the cataclysm while fighting with Hadura, one of the Schwanenritter. And over all Kaeya's heroic description of his grandpa matches with Anfortas heroic actions as a Regent and a Marshal. Also also, Kaeya says in his story quest "Yesterday I was glancing through the notes my grandfather left...". Could those notes have been from the secret letters Kaeya saved from being burnt, that describe the Albrich lineage, more specifically Anfortas.

Going a bit further because I can't help but notice the parallels between Anfortas and Kaeya. Both have injured their eye in a fight stemming from betrayal. Anfortas was betrayed by one of his comrades. While Kaeya and Diluc betrayed each other's trust during the fight. But the difference was that Kaeya's injured eye is the right one and Anfortas' was the left.

But what would this mean:

Well, there's the whole question of how far related Anfortas and Kaeya would be and if Kaeya is pure blood or a half-blood. And how is Kaeya so human then, seemingly unaffected by the curse. And right now I don't have answers for those.

But regarding Kaeya's position on the chess board. Kaeya, or more so his father's plan is not connected with the Abyss. It's quite possible Anfortas Albrich's lineage is following a 3rd plan which imposes both the Fatui and the Abyss. I think Kaeya's dad's plan is to stop something from happening. The reason for leaving Kaeya in Monstadt and giving him the heavy mission of being "The Last Hope" was because he's hiding his son from something until it's time for their action.

That is pretty much all I have to say right now. This search opened up a new bag of theory worms regarding Anfortas. And I've gotten a pretty new perspective on the whole Albrich Clan matter and Kaeya's descent.

Summary: Since the death of Crepus Ragnvindr, His two sons have all but severed ties with each other. Only speaking when they must. And neither brother ever fails to remind the other of the reason why. However strong their hatred for each other, they never managed to show such disdain towards their little sister. But perhaps hate would have been kinder then neglect.

Note: This Story is Built on the Theory of Pierro being Kaeya's father, and the Tsaritsa collecting the gnosises to rebel against celestia

Prolouge: Winds of Winter

Nothing fucks you harder then time.

A thing I've learned over the years, vile but truer then the words of God. Through this, i have also been taught to never forget who I am.

The world certainly didn't. I was foolish to believe that having a family could have erased who I was taught to be. Or the burdens drilled into us from a young age.

Kaeya did, perhaps he thought pushing me away would have fixed it. Would have kept me safe from the scorching flames he was forced to bare, visionless and scared. Hands shaking as he struggled to keep up with such a heavy and hot weapon.

Such a sight it was. And at times, as I lay awake at night do I remember the event and wonder If my decisions could have made it better

If i tried harder, If i listened more, If i went away when asked and came back when I thought it was right

Engage in conversation but don't be overbearing, listen but don't be quiet. Know when to speak and when not to.

Could it have been possible to say the right thing to someone whom you have no ties with. Bring back a lie and make it a truth.

I've asked myself time and time again. Impossible for a 15 year old to run in and save a man from a full grown Dragon. But perhaps If i tried I could have a brother, maybe two...

No, Kaeya was never to last as my brother. The stupid idiot was too nice to ever keep his mouth shut, he cared about Diluc too much to keep lying to him, to himself.

And I cared too much about our family to tell them.

Now, As I stand in front of hundreds, commanding thousands. Perhaps then would they acknowledge me. Maybe not as Y/N Ragnvindr Or Y/N Albrich. But Y/N, Queen Regent of Khaenri'ah, The 6th Harbinger of the Tsaritsa. A Revolutionist. A Rebel to our world's order.

"Power resides where men believe it resides. It's a trick, a shadow on the wall. And, a very small man can cast a very large shadow." I smiled at my father, jerking my head a little to the side in agreement to his statement.

"Or woman. Your son was never either small nor big enough to cast a shadow large enough to trick anyone. The poor boy has run from the truth of it his whole life. He believes himself a Mondstater." I scoffed, rolling my eyes at such foolishness.

To my surprise, father didn't seem to agree. Infact his chuckle of amusement seemed directed at me then the Calvary Captain in discussion.

"What's so funny?" I asked, placing down my coffee in a tea cup. I was never much of a tea lover like everyone in Mondstat growing up, and in Scheznaya everyone seemed to love their fire-water. I never understood it. Under the influence, no mortal is capable of keeping their mouths shut or wits intact. Doesn't quite make for being in control of yourself does it

"You say that about Kaeya, and yet I have a feeling you're quite infatuated with the place yourself..or should I say the people?" He smirked, and i glared at it.

"Don't be foolish, they mean nothing to me. Simple stepping stones to greatness—one that I will bring our great house of Albrich. Not Kaeya, me!"

I hunched over the chair, hands gripping the arm rests so hard my knuckles turned white. Eyes gleaming with righteousness, madness and excitement all at once.

To rule absolutely and fairly over a people. A great nation that rose itself up from nothing without assistance from Gods, and became strong enough to rival them.

Oh how it made my heart race and knees tingle. Down right arousal at the thought poured over my cheshire grin that extended from ear to ear

"Then If i asked you to bring me the Ragnvindr's head, or even your brother's if need be. God's forbid. Would you?" His head dipped towards me, awaiting my answer almost as eagerly as I seemed towards the thought of being Queen.

My grin dropped as quickly as the snap of a finger. But my resolve didn't. I pursed my lips and my eyes widened in unwavering confidence.

Finally, the question that had haunted my mind. Again and again like waves. Time and time again as I looked at either brother from a distance, watched them smile and chuckle with other people and never at each other. And yet, that hateful look was what i desired more then anything, anything over not being given so much as a distasteful glance.

A question that I inevitably knew would be thrown at my feet, finally brought to my attention. At long last, I can put the thought to rest.

"With pleasure."

Ragbro angst AU

So i've been reading quite a bit of mind control AUs. Im sure you are atleast familar with the concept of one character being mind controlled and another character breaking them out of it with the power of their friendship/love/whatever.

So what about we apply this trope to ragbros but with a twist :

Now hear me out : Kaeya gets cursed by an Abyss Mage sending him into a feral state where his only goal is to kill and destroy as much as possibel. Even though they manage to contain him and bring him to Mondstadt to attempt to treat him.

Lisa finally finds out that if a person that Kaeya trusts and who means a lot to him might be abel to remind him of who he acctualy is and lift the curse. Jean decides to get Diluc since he grew up with Kaeya and she knows that Kaeya still considers him as brother. Diluc accepts. Secretly taking a little pride in the fact that they would call him to help Kaeya.

And when he sees Kaeya with torn clothes and just pure hate in his eyes Diluc feels so bad for Kaeya. He is sure that he would be abel to help Kaeya , after that he could just go on with his life and everything would be normal again.

Diluc tries , and Diluc fails. Horribly so. not only did he not break Kaeya free from the curse, he riled Kaeya up to a point where he managed to destroy the seals and bars holding him in he cell he was kept in.

Kaeya would have killed Diluc with a burst of ice if Jean, who had been watching the whole interaction, hadn't pulled him away so quickly. Soon after Lisa and other knights came into the room having heard the noise.

It was a hard fight against Kaeya, even after other knights joined. At some point Kaeya broke a wall with his ice causing them to continue their fight outside.

They didn't want to hurt Kaeya, but he left them little choice since no one seemed to get throught to him. That is until Klee gets injured.

Imagine little Klee standing in a battlefield with blood dripping from her small arms. Little klee crying from the pain and from simply not understanding why big brother Kaeya would do this. Imagine Kaeya seeing this little girl and something deep inside him wishpering that he should go comfort her. Something inside Kaeya wishpering that this is wrong. That those are his friends, not enemys.

Diluc realises that Kaeya stopped attacking after he saw Klee, screams at everyone to lower their weapons and just watch. And imagine Diluc watching as Kaeya has this moment with Klee before the curse takes control again and this time it everyone of his friends that come to him. And Kaeya is just burried in Jean and Lisa and Amber and everyone who ever meant something to him and they all tell him that he is their friend. And that they will no longer fight him. They tell him his name is Kaeya Albrich and he is the cavalery captain of the knights of favonious and a good person.

And they manage to break the curse.

All while Diluc watches from the side. And that is when Diluc realises that he now truly has lost all of his family. Because even if Kaeya says that he thinks of him as a brother , this right here just showed how far apart they grew.

Diluc finally confronts his feelings and finally realises that ne never hated Kaeya at all. He finally realises that he wants his little brother back. But it's already too late. Kaeya moved on, he found a new family and new friends. They would never be a family again, all because Diluc let his pride get in the way.

It's kind of a bitter sweet ending for Diluc because on one had, Kaeya atleast isn't trying to kill him and everyone else anymore but on the other hand Diluc has to deal losing his brother now, too.

School got me worn out so here's my team dynamic HCs

It's Kaeya, Xingqiu, Diluc, and Ayaka atm hngjfhgdjfg

Kaeya

This man is so tired, Archons please let him rest

Has to pick up his week's paperwork from Jean every Monday when we go to Mondstadt to buy food supplies and stuff before fighting Andrius, gets to work on it while Diluc and the Andrius team go at it

Actually is the person who keeps the whole party safe, has pulled Xingqiu away from ledges while he's reading more times than he can count, makes sure everyone has food at all times, and keeps the schedule in line

Has a flask of Death After Noon that he keeps on him, has to actively keep it away from Xingqiu because the kid's curious

He is so tired he is the reason the party only gets up to leave at like noon because he sleeps in

Thinks he's good enough at hiding his anxiety that no one else has noticed

He is not, they've all noticed him shaking visibly at high speeds in 90-degree weather and the kids will do their best to avoid fraying his nerves on a bad day

Very kind to Xingqiu and Ayaka, kinda like a cool uncle? Buys them things even though they can afford it

Kinda lets the kids do what they want and chat while he keeps them safe and the whole party on their way

Absolute tank, balances his skillset out so he can manage most threats alone, no one has to get hurt, they can just travel, it's fine it's fine

Pretends to casually bring up stuff the kids want to do (after meticulously making sure the party would be in the right place at the right time)

"Xingqiu, we have time to kill, care to show us to the Wanwen Bookhouse? We can see if they have the next issue in that book series you're always reading! :)"

"Ayaka, you wanted to try some Liyuen cuisine, didn't you? We have a dear friend who just so happens to be a chef at Wanmin Restaurant! And since we're in Liyue anyway, we should swing by, shouldn't we?"

He tries his best to find something Diluc wouldn't mind doing too! Usually, Diluc turns him down but Kaeya has scored on occasion!

"C'mon Diluc, you can't have lost all your taste for reading, right? I hear Inazuma has some interesting books nowadays, what with all the isolation..."

Basically, he just tries his best and is so tired please let him rest

Diluc

This man is angry all the time but he doesn't mean to be. He's just unnerved because he's basically back to hunting Fatui in other nations. He just isn't alone this time and the Fatui aren't the focus

He's so annoyed that they don't leave until Kaeya wakes up, actively in denial about the fact that he himself wakes up only an hour earlier and everyone else is waiting for much longer

Runs right into danger all the time please someone tell this man to calm down he is the reason they need so much food

Does and takes a whole lot of damage at the same time and it stresses Kaeya out so much

Was not Pleased to find out he'd be stuck traveling with Kaeya, puts up with it because he can't bring himself to turn down the Traveler's request. Because in his eyes they're just a kid trying to find their family and he really can't turn down their plea for help in

Gets along surprisingly well with Xingqiu, they both enjoy reading, and often recommend books to each other! Diluc has no idea Xingqiu wrote Legend of a Sword, but the only reason for that is that he literally forgot the book name

"Hmm... in Mondstadt we have this book, The Fox and the Dandelion Sea? For a traditional Mondstadt fairytale, it does remind me of Inazuma, funnily enough. There are versions of the book that are watered down for younger children, but if you have the time I'd recommend the full novelization."

"Tales From the Waves? No, I haven't read that. Is it good?" ... "A novelization of an old ship captain's life? That does sound interesting... I'll pick up a copy when I can"

Gets along well with Ayaka as well, they both appreciate the arts and such so they talk about that

"In Mondstadt we don't have nearly as many festivals as they do in Inazuma... but when we do they're quite the occasion, and very dear to people's hearts. There would be rioting in the streets if the Windblume Festival was postponed..."

"Oh Mond has its fair share of dance traditions, but they fell to be a staple of the Lawrence rule, so not many traditional dances remain... although if you wish to learn more about them you could ask Kaeya to introduce you to the Knight's Recconacance Captain. She doesn't like me very much"

Is the one person who actually doesn't realize that Kaeya is anxious All The Time, literally could watch him shake uncontrollably as Venti walks by and think it was his Vision acting up, he has all the pieces to put the puzzle together but has lost interest in it

Xingqiu

Top ten reasons the party gets sidetracked, number one: Xingqiu finding a book and getting so into it that he doesn't notice people

Actually besties with Ayaka he thinks she's really cool!

Top ten reasons why Kaeya actually gets to sleep as long as he does, number one: Xingqiu jumping up and yanking Diluc's hair when he tries to wake him up

"You're 22 you can go get breakfast by yourself, my leige"

Infodumps about his books to the whole party while they're eating dinner regardless of if they're listening or not (they are, they always are)

Pulls out relevant trivia out of nowhere?? Like they'll be stuck in some ruins and Xingqiu just

"Hey, you know this specific style of ruins are known to be built with metal hatches that always lead to escape routes :)"

Or like

"Oh yeah, the coloration in the animals is different here because the plants in Inazuma so often have purple and blue pigmentation, and Inazuma is so naturally isolated, that the animals adapted to get their pigments partially from the foliage!"

And no one knows how or why he knows this much but he Does??

Also, knows everyone's favorite bird for some reason and talks about them, why? Idk I think he'd like birds!!

"A peacock? Oh, I've never even seen one of those! I hear they're lovely, but a little noisy. Sometimes we get feathers imported for design reference at the Feyun Commerce Guild though!"

"Umbertail Falcon, right? Ohh I hear they can be very loyal, right? Ahh, so that's why yours flys down to check in on you? That's lovely! Owls? Oh yeah, those are cool birds, you know their feathers are fanned out just right so they're entirely silent while flying!"

"Herons? Oh yeah, that's what your title is, right? Graceful... I think they're more stealthy, very good at waiting to strike. That's how they hunt, you know? Just being patient and stealthy, then striking. That's also why they're so graceful standing there all the time!"

Bummed that he's the only person in the party without a bird as his constellation tbh, but he's alright with it because he's got books!!

Mentioned Albedo and Kaeya almost choked on his food, Xingqiu thought this was hilarious

Routinely plays pranks on Diluc and occasionally manages to pull a deez joke on Kaeya, leaves Ayaka alone with the pranks though because he knows she's new to all of this

Ayaka

Oh this poor girl, Lumine just dropped her off with Mondstadt's most dysfunctional siblings and a kid who reads at the speed of light and said have fun

Really gets along well with Xingqiu!! Having someone with a somewhat similar background is definitely a relief, especially because Kaeya and Diluc intimidate her, what with them arguing most of the time they interact

She recognizes the anxiety in Kaeya (because she also has it) so she's a little more comfortable approaching him because of that

She's happy to talk about Inazuma's ruins and is fascinated by Kaeya bringing up similar ruins in Mondstadt and Liyue

She really appreciates him remembering what she's interested in and making time in the day for it!

Diluc on the other hand?? She has... some idea how to talk to him? But?? He is either aggressive or glaring off into the distance at all times, and she's been around long enough to know that he doesn't mean to be like that but it's still unnerving to her

However, she Can talk to him! She is still a little confused because he constantly sounds so grumpy, but she's realized that he's actually really good at listening, and is absolutely willing to talk about Mondstadt traditions! Because she does really like to learn about other nations

Plus, she can go to Xingqiu to answer most of her questions!

"Xingqiu, I- I hope this isn't an odd question, but ah... how exactly do you get used to Kaeya and Diluc? I don't think I've quite figured it out yet..?"

"So in Liyue... the Merchant stalls are on the docks? Like Ritou but it's all on the docks? Interesting..."

"You're the second born of the Feyun Commerce Guild? Oh! Forgive me, I thought you were the eldest, my brother handles most international relations..."

It was really hard for her to adjust to the team, just because of how ragtag it is most of the time, but she's got it by now!

She actually kind of likes the scrappy chaos! She hasn't completely gotten used to it all but she finds it like kind of a break from having to uphold her image at all times

But my love life isn't going so smoothly in the virtual World either .

Kaeya flirts a lot but is a no show :'(

Lisa took me out on errands and honestly,till a point it was a pretty cute date -buying flowers,getting food and what not

But then ,her inner librarian psycho appeared and it ended up as a fight with slimes

Sucrose can’t read Kaeya on the best of days — they believe the best of him, they do, and thus they know he likely isn’t intending to cause them any harm whenever he teases. Still, for a person so unskilled in social interactions and so prone to quiet awkwardness and anxiety...it’s a bit like Kaeya is oil to their water — which is to say, the awkwardness is very often unbearable. That they seem to find Sucrose’s embarrassment funny, or at the very least endearing in a silly way, does little to help.

So when Kaeya approaches them — on their birthday no less — the alchemist is very much expecting the worst. They’re bound to say something to tease them, and Sucrose believes that they’re prepared for it. But Kaeya says very little — a simple ‘happy birthday, Sucrose’ — and simply ———

Sucrose almost faints.

They do go lightheaded, stumbling first back — and, were Kaeya not still holding their hand to their lips, they’d have fallen entirely — and then blinking as if to awaken from a dream. Kaeya is — Cavalry Captain Kaeya is kissing ( the verb turns past tense once he realizes that sucrose is about to black out, releasing their hand as his expression goes more concerned than amused ) kissed ——— oh, Barbatos, they don’t even want to know how red they are right now, and they can feel their ears pressed almost flat against the sides of their head and —

“Sucrose,” Kaeya ventures, voice kind if not still a little charmed, and the sound of their name about makes them jump out of their skin and when did their hands press to their face and OH BARBATOS PLEASE KILL THEM. “Are you okay?”

“F - Fine!” They’re surprised that they can speak and surprised at how fast the words come, though they’re muffled by their gloved hands pressed to their burning face — they force them away, after a beat. There’s still not enough air in them, so the syllables flee breathily. It’s not that they’re afraid, exactly, because they believe the best of Kaeya, they do —— but they are deeply embarrassed, bordering upon humiliated. It’s just — romance may not be their focus, but they still — they’re not foolish, they’ve read the books and seen others, and they know that this is ———

Well, it’s certainly not an expression of a care that could possibly be pointed at someone like Sucrose. Kaeya often tease them and that’s all this is, and maybe it’s the fact that they’re still light - headed, but they think it’s a little cruel.

( they’re not angry, truly. they believe the best of kaeya. they wouldn’t do this, if they thought it would hurt. sucrose still might faint, though. )

“I — I need to get back to work now or Mister A - Albedo wi — will wonder where I’ve gone I’m very sorry butIneedtogo!” INHALE! They have to get it all out and escape before they truly do pass out. “Thankyouforthebirthdaywishes! HaveanicedayCavalryCaptainKaeya!”

And, if the room Sucrose throws themself into next, just throwing open the very first door they pass, is a broom closet rather than the lab, Kaeya will just have to excuse them. They’ll need a few minutes to calm down before they can show their face to Mr. Albedo, anyway.

Chapter 2: Watchers in The Wall

night gathers and now my watch begins

Mondstat. The Great City of Wind and Wine. Full of Songs and Bards and Freedom to do as one wishes.

It felt real, sitting atop the tallest windmill in the main city, looking down at the people, packing up their things to go to home. Take a rest, eat dinner. The simplicity and uniqueness of every person she took a glance at made her smile, just a little.

The things she never got to enjoy, will never get to experience without casting a cautious glance back.

The things she has protected on behalf of others. While everyone goes to bed, only two people remain awake

it shall not end until my death.

While Diluc takes the supposed mysterious and lowkey job of a vigilante, she takes it as an opportunity to gather information. Get blackmail, intel. Interrogate

She cared not for the wellbeing of others who would not give a shit about hers, had they seen her in danger. Diluc was glorified hero, whilst Lady Albrich, and to her dismay, Her brother Kaeya—were most skilled in strategy and scheme. More her then him, since he too had decided to join the Knights, an incapable lot if you asked her

The last door shut, and her watch began. Pulling a hood over her head, she took a seemingly leisurely walk down the walls of mondstat. Heels clicking, loudly, challengingly, and yet it had no source.

Since the beginning of the end of Autumn in Mondstat, this sound had been one repeating almost every night. It faded to one wall and became louder in the other, surrounding the city and taking it hostage in its grasp

It was eerie, irritating to the ear until it made you wanna scream to drown out the sound. And just when you thought you couldn't take it anymore....

It stopped, and seemingly turned into a specific intersection before fading into its victims home.

Today, it was Mikail. For the time being he was no victim but an ally. A Fatuus stationed in Mondstat to report back to his superior, and the intel would get to Lord Tartaglia.

It was amusing really. The ginger truly was a puppy to play fetch with. The Fatui had seemingly bored Mondstat and decided to keep a lazy eye on it. Up until recently when Y/N had made her next move. Did Pierro order more personnel into the city of freedom to watch her.

And Mikhail, was to be her plaything until she got all she needed.

Men like him were so easy, anything for a person with a set of tits. Especially when war and violence is added into the equation. Soldiers throw themselves at women's feet for a chance to bask in pleasure before the pain

And Y/N knew how to play them to her needs. Her brothers were aware of her silver tongue, it seemed to run deep in Albrich family. What else she did though, was up to their imagination

Despite hating their little sister they never wanted to acknowledge the sinful things she did. The rumors that went about. They decided to close an ear when it came to things that made their skin crawl to think about her being in. Diluc couldn't give two shits about her fairs until it involved violence. Only then would he almost sound like he cared. Since he didn't pay mind to it when it was his brother the culprit.

Tsk, Tsk. Father wouldn't be pleased

The so-called gentlemen he raised broke up the family they had. How sad

Nonetheless, she knocked a pattern on the door, and was instantly let in by an all too eager, silver-haired male.

Y/N chuckled, "Eager are we? You know what I want Mikhail, do it for me and ill give you what you want." Luckily, this was her last day in his home.

He gazed up with wondrous but annoyed eyes. "Later Later, please i really need you today." He gripped onto her arm, tugging her. But she didn't budge

Y/N lifted her foot off the ground and shoved it into his chest, making him sit, keeping a steady hold on his lower stomach with it. "I won't give you anything if you aren't good to me. That's only fair." He sighed, raising his bare arms in surrender.

"The Balladeer has been turned into a God in Sumeru, soundly defeated by the Traveler however."

She raised a brow, "The Jester allowed this? Doesn't he have hate to all archons and adepti? Even his snow queen gets the stink eye."

"It was an experiment, if they could use it to infiltrate and further progress to Her Majesty The Tsaritsa's goal, it was nothing him and The Doctor couldn't tinker with."

"Is that so? Do you know where The Doctor is now? I heard he returned to Scheznaya." She let go of him and began to take off her coat and heels, making herself comfortable.

Quickly, he hurried to tell her what he had. "Yes, he is. Reporting to Her Majesty, He doesn't plan to leave soon. Make haste." Mikhail grabbed her by the waist and spun her around. Tackling her back to the couch he sat on a moment ago.

Within a few hours the last of her deal with the Fatuus was exchanged. Drying her hair as she quietly walked back into the bedroom, Y/N crouched down to the floor, instead of making a rukus to put her clothes back on, she began to fill a syringe in her bag with polluted water.

It was easy work. Slipping the needle into his arm pressing down gently and watched his body shiver and writhe while she took her time putting her clothes back on.

She grabbed her bag and her cloak and quietly stepped out of his home, heels clicking once more as she began to make her way out of mondstat and to her home in Springvale.

"There you are~ " Spoke a voice deep, and familiar. Mocking and angry. She stopped and her glare set on her face naturally.

Turning around, she raised her chin high and looked down her nose.

"Mr. Ragnvindr, to what do I owee the pleasure on this fine night? Out for a stroll..

Darknight Hero?"
