Under what circumstances/what characters would this happen with (I’m a sucker for this thing)

In her youth, Nya's only ever felt comfortable falling asleep in the presence of her brother, especially when huddled under a blanket beside their workshop's hearth. But over time her body grows a tendency to fall weary while studying with Zane, sharing headphones with Cole, stealing a mid-class nap with Antonia, or in the throes of the past, when she and Olivia would spend school afternoons upon the rooftop where the clouds aimlessly drifted by just as their conversations did. Yet she needs no excuse to rest her head upon Jay's shoulder as he works himself into the night, knowing he'll carry her to bed, should he not fall asleep first.

Kai would never be so foolish as to let down his guard so vulnerably—he can't afford to—so it scares him at first when he jolts up from being against Cole as the Bounty lazily sails across the provinces, when he finds himself in Zane's lap as the Nindroid tends to a wound otherwise gone unnoticed, when Jay's got a supportive arm around him as he drags Kai's battle-weary body to safety. It takes months for the ingrained hesitation to chip away, to let his walls down brick by brick, to open up just enough to have his arms wide open when Skylor trips, stumbles, and crashes into his life, seeking a solace of her own.

Cole is the same way, mainly offering a shoulder for others yet rarely seeking a perch for himself—unless that perch is Zane, in which he embraces it readily and easily, until such a comfort is reserved for another. He hates to ask or assume otherwise for anyone else—tries to bury it out of his mind—too afraid of being seen as needy, clingy, constantly wanting that grounding physical contact—until he finds a familiar, comforting hand slipped into his, as it always has been, and something shifts. He falls under the magic of Jesse's presence; he lets go, head supported by the other's shorter stature, and sleeps.

Zane's guard does not drop readily for the sake of slumber—there's a time and place for resting, and alas, the demands of a ninja do not allow for many such moments. He also knows how... uncomfortable it might be to support a metal shell of a soul, or to be supported by such, and thus does not indulge often. It's only at times when his world is torn apart, or it is him that is rendered asunder, that his loved ones will pick his pieces off of concrete, desert, and city streets—and only then does he find himself cradled gently while in the midst of sleep mode.

Jay jokingly calls the others his "Starcatchers", for the only times when he's not sparking around the skies is when he's falling from them in exhaustion. He's no stranger to waking up being carried upon Cole or Zane's backs, or in Nya's arms, or strewn over Kai's shoulders like a sack of potatoes. When he's pushed to the limits of his electrical reserves, he'll keep staggering step after step, and it rarely matters who comes to bottle his lightning–he'll crash right into them unprompted, and pass out regardless.

Trust already does not come easily to Olivia, nor does she give it freely—only to those she deems worthy or have impressed her. Seldom may there be a moment where she isn't seeking opportunity or hitting the pavement anyway, but there's a few wisps of memories—when things were slightly more right in the world—when she spent an afternoon with her best friend out by the sea and found herself serenely at peace, enough to lay sprawled out on a beach using Nya's lap as her personal pillow. Day by day she dreads never being able to feel so free to feel free to do so ever again...but, "never" is a bold sentiment to cling to.

When the world is at its simplest and most predictable is when Jesse's eyelids will start to droop, his body will sink to the side, and he'll plop into the lap of another—as he sits with Miranda indulging in Saturday morning cartoons, as he curls around a bowl of popcorn on Antonia's couch for movie night, as Harumi calls him over to be reminded the world can't be as bad as she believes, as he shamelessly plunges into Cole's arms during another of their countless stolen moments and tells himself for the umpteenth time "Ah, maybe just this once"—and in slumber becomes unshackled from the threads of constant paranoia and anticipation and simply...lets the moment lie.

Lloyd Garmadon only ever finds peace in the presence of the Elements; in the warmth of a campfire, in the vastness of the ocean, in the spectacle of a stormy sky, in the comfort of a blanket of snow, in the foundation of the ground, in the creation of the universe, in the destructive heat death of it all, in the motherly absence of any Element at all, in the eternal churning of amber, in the neutralizing embrace of a crystal, and in the miracles brought upon by life itself, and they all will always welcome him with open arms should he seek solace—he need only ask. He rarely ever does, for energy does not rest; energy does not sleep. And, most certainly, the energy never dies.

Thus, inversely...no one can ever truly rest easy in the presence of Lloyd Garmadon.

I think I decided that my Bane's post!Six mainverse uses venom like this one moment from Conquest

No tubes or big canisters, he doesn't use it for combat often, just pops his handy little ampoules directly into the implants every so many hours as a means of upkeep, like he did for most of Knightfall, because he doesn't want to deal with the withdrawls.

Eret

His entire presence is comforting in and of itself. They are just a very good person to be around in general if you need calming down.

Eret has a very natural sort of peace-keeping personality that he'd definitely be very good with angry-sad people.

Her voice is just very soothing and she's got a few breathing exercises memorized.

Eret also has a bunch of extra candy laying around that he's not afraid of using to make you feel better, because you're not you when you're hungry.

That's not to say they're used to it though, they can and will startle pretty easily

As long as they care about you though, she'd still try to help anyways!

Quackity

He pulls a lot of the same tricks my Mexican mother pulls when I'm upset.

Which is essentially talking loudly over you and pretending you're not upset until it works.

Okay, jokes aside Quackity is very awkward around crying people so as long as your liquids are inside of you, he's good to go.

Quackity is very much of the mindset of 'comforting distractions' to take your mind off what's making you upset.

With jokes, stories, or even singing if that helps, though his default is Mexican lullabies (they're super effective, I can personally vouch)

He's also someone who'd set up an entire blanket fort just to platonically cuddle you.

but only because he read somewhere that hugs are supposed to make you feel better (pls don't tell this man otherwise, Quackity couldn't take it, he'd instantly explode and then you'd have to comfort him)

You can't rant to him though, he will have a million and one things to say

Sam

Sam is actually really good at handling people, even upset people

He's sort of just a natural, very empathetic and caring.

Not to say Sam does it very often, but he always tries to be there and let everyone know it

he's just naturally good at reading the room and catering to your needs

Need to eat your feelings? Sam has snacks! Need really shitty romance movies and a good cry? He quite literally has hundreds and tissues, go off.

A bit awkward with physical affection but always willing as long as you don't bully him too much for it

He's also a very good listener if you need to rant, Sam is also very good at giving advice (unless it's romantic, don't ask)

Sam just cares a lot, please do the same for him because he deserves it

Foolish

This man is a mess

Foolish will definitely try his best to comfort you, I can promise you that

Will it work? Probably not, this man sucks at genuine comfort

Unless his fumbling comforts you, in which case: He's amazing!

Does try really hard to be there for you and Foolish will definitely make a million stops at stores looking for your favourite comfort candy

He's the type to look up wiki-hows for comforting people but with his luck, it's a coin toss for making it worse or somehow fixing it

Has his sister and mom on speeddial and WILL rely on them for help in the event that he does, in fact, make it worse by using wiki-how

He does put a lot of effort into trying though so please let him know you appreciate that! (And also don't let Foolish try comforting anyone ever again)

Band au!!

The ninja: A VERY popular band with huge turnouts for their concerts. Their music can vary a lot, but they land solidly in the alt-pop/rock area when they aren’t doing any sort of solo acts.

Kai: Basic electric/acoustic guitar, but he’s the lead vocalist and absolutely SHREDS when a song calls for a saxophone. Master of improv and is able to continue on with confidence if something goes wrong at a show. He likes it when he gets the chance to scream and jump.

Music type examples: I/Me/Myself by Will Wood, some of Bleacher’s more popular songs, Grandson, Bruno Mars, and a lot of FoB type-stuff.

Jay: Plays a little of everything, but his one true calling is the main melody on electric guitar. His fingerpicking skills are unparalleled. Girls throw themselves at his feet. It’s so sexy how fast his fingers move. He’ll also record some solo tracks on uke!

Music type examples: Complicated guitar melodies, All Time Low, and for uke think of stuff like ToP’s House of Gold and The Judge. The Orion Experience’s The Cult of Dionysus.

Cole: Bass guitar, and a little slap bass. He CAN NOT improv, he’s too scared to. Out of all of them he practices the most. He can do some solo piano stuff too, but not keyboard. Mostly stays back and lets the others take the spotlight, but when he gets really into it he might go up front and dance around with Kai.

Music type examples: I don’t know a lot of bass-centric songs, but he enjoys a lot of songs like Love Grows Where my Rosemary Grows. Autoheart. IDKHBTFM.

Zane: Keyboardist with experience in violin. When he gets in The Zone you cannot pull him out of it for anything less than the venue being on fire. He enjoys both fast-paced and slower music, and will sometimes join in on vocals.

Music type examples: Jake Wesley Rogers, Golden Hour, Cody Fry

Nya: Drums. She wants to hit things. Smack. Anger management. People are SO into it.

Music type examples: Anything with heavy drums and drum solos.

Jesse: Up and coming artist who does a lot of stuff with his sister. Can’t play any instruments too well so she makes tracks for him to add vocals to! He opens for the ninja a lot at their concerts.

Music type examples: Jake Wesley Rogers, other stuff you have already talked about, Bruno Mars if he’s feeling confident.

Olivia: Popular solo artist with a cult following. Leans heavily into the alt-rock and electronica scene. Sometimes she’ll hire the shark army as background players. Dances a LOT.

Music type examples: Paramore, P!atd, All Time Low, Daisy Grenade, K. Flay, and SPECIFICALLY Black Sheep from Scot Pilgrim vs. the World

Antonia/Bridget: Managers for the ninja/Jesse and Olivia respectively. God help them.

Jamie: Stage hand and photographer for both! He focuses too much on Olivia, though. Is it hot in here or is it just him? Has nothing to do with the drop she did while dancing and how she looked into the camera- no way.

Nya: We're really calling ourselves "The Ninja"? Kai: It's quick, it's catchy, it fits nicely on merch!!

Nya: Jay, I need you to stop being so hot while playing guitar Jay: It's not like I can turn it off???? *plays a riff* Nya: Pls your fans are starting to bruise with how hard they're falling at your feet Sunni: *lying on the floor* One more solo please!! I can handle it!!

Cole: All right, guys, let's rehearse one more time— Kai: Oooooor we could just jump onstage and just do whatever!!! The crowd loves spontaneity, that's why Jesse opens for us Jay: YEAH, FREESTYLE! Nya: *loud cacophony of drum slamming* Cole: PLEASE ANYTHING ELSE BUT THAT

Zane: I just think we should be incorporating a lot more violin into our songs— Kai: Zane. We're a pop-rock band. Save it for the solo album. Cole: Well, hold on, maybe it could put some extra spice into our music? Kai: When you can match a violin to my sister's erratic drum playing, then come talk to me Cole: Tch, bet Jay: *popcorn*

Jesse: *coming off from his act* You got a pic of my good side, right?? Jamie: Uhhh— *tries to run, drops several photos of dancing Olivia* W-Wait, I can explain, I— *drops even more photos of closeups of Olivia's smirk* WAIT JUST HOLD ON— Miranda: You had one job, man!!!! Antonia: At least get them autographed so we can sell them Jamie: *dies*

Description: You complain about the cut on your foot to your own personal boy-next-door bestie Ranboo.

"I cut my foot," You whine at Ranboo, who's currently sitting on the floor next to your bed, just laughing at you. "It's not funny, it hurts!"

"Oh poor baby-man, can't handle a small cut," Ranboo rolls his eyes but obligatorily puts their hand put. You set your foot in it with wiggling toes and he rolls his eyes again. He looks over the cut, which is admittedly not that ugly, and winces in sympathy when he spots the puffy red skin around it.

"Oh geez, you definitely need to bandage that. Do we even have any band-aids though?" Ranboo sets your foot back and you pull it towards yourself, falling back on your bed.

"We?" You smile, amused. "Since when did you live here?"

"Since your dads stopped asking where I came from when I came down for dinner," Ranboo says, fully deadpan. He stands up, stretching his egriously long limbs out before moving towards your bathroom. "So, do we?"

"I dunno, check the drawers I guess?" You scratch at the area around your foot, grimacing. You love living by the beach (and it's even better that it's just a walk away) but sometimes days like these happen and you trip on the wrong stone and have to suffer with the consequences of your own actions. Okay, maybe you're a tad dramatic right now but it doesn't really hurt!

"Find any, Bae?" You call out, turning on your stomach to look at your bathroom door.

"Call me Bae again and I won't give them to you!" He calls back, already walking out with a box of Disney princess band-aids in hand. He just sighs at your grinning face and passes them over.

"Thank you, Bae," You reach out and pat his cheek before he turns away.

His face sours comically, though you can see him holding back a smile. "Whatever, I'm gonna go ask your dad for some lemonade."

"Dad's out right now, ask Pa!" You shout but Ranboo doesn't react so you shrug and just assume he heard you. God, you hardly remember the days Ranboo wasn't living right next to you but sometimes it hits you that he's just involved with everything you do now.

You can hear Ranboo going up your stairs, 2 at a time like always, and grin. It's a lot but you enjoy it anyways. Now, if you can just convince him to let you crash his streams...
