1. his parents are progressive hippies. his grandparents are civil rights lawyers — his grandma marched in Selma and his grandpa worked for the ACLU (his grandpa is Jewish and his family left Britain during WWII and moved to the states and this left such a huge impact on the family’s politics over all.) in the NCAA in North Dakota, he knelt for the anthem!! He has a black brother who was adopted from Costa Rica. He gets it. He did not kneel for the anthem in AHL or NHL but when you’re a fringe player at best and your call-ups are basically determined by how many franchise players have covid at any given moment, you can’t really risk the kind of attention kneeling would bring 😩 he’s like pedigree hockey moron who was raised in a progressive-leftist family who has been challenged again and again from birth to look more critically race in the US. we love to see it!!
2. Also a gay ally….he was on the Sharks’ beat lone podcast last year during June and the interviewer ended the interview with like, hey do you have anything you’d like to say or any people you’d like to shout out and he was like well, “a big thing on my mind is that it’s Pride Month” (direct quote) and he talked about how he’s glad to see NHL and junior clubs celebrating pride. Jasper Weatherby loves the gays really for real
3. Huge locker room guy. HUGE locker room guy. I have seen the Barracuda on double-digit loss streaks and like that was BAD but like…I mean we had an 8 game losing streak last winter, I have still never seen the team as depressed as they were when Jasper got traded (for my beloved Crisco, noted bisexual/bisexual ally, who, being a vibes guy himself, immediately went on a hatty watch to cheer them up). apparently some of the guys were BONKERS upset but none more than our number one prospect William Eklund, for whom Weatherby was the golden retriever to his cheetah threatening to go crazy in his enclosure, and who, first game post-Jasper trade, I watched play with increasing concern for his mental stability
4. I am not making this a great hits of the William Eklund/Jasper Weatherby story or this post will devolve into chaos, however, I will note that the young guys on the Cuda seemed to have an attitude of like that’s WEATHER we LOVE him and generally seemed to treat him as their emotional support dog. The one thing I will say about William Eklund (Swedish first rounder) is that the kid showed up at prospect camp right out of the gate and Jasper apparently ID’d him as…idk kid who needed a touch of home, so he. took Eklund to ikea. Hello small Swedish teenager, you look nervous would you like to go to Ikea?? And William was in love with him from that moment on. So hopefully that kind of maternal touch carries on in Nashville or Milwaukee, where he just tries hard to make the young guys feel comfortable and at home. (The guys also loved his dog, whose name is Larry.)
5. Generally just kind of goofy and protective. Usually has a big smile. On ice, one time I was eavesdropping on the season ticket holders sitting behind me while he was on the power play and one of them mused “there’s Jasper in front of the net…he’s such a distraction” and his partner said “he really is.” Big boy is 6’3 and generally just. huge. Despite his size, usually you don’t have to worry about him doing particularly stupid shit but in one of the most iconic days in San Jose Barracuda history last year, he started a line brawl PRE-WHISTLE and eight players got game misconducts before the game even started and our head coach got fined like $25k. the best part is NO ONE outside of the team knows what happened, the team closed ranks and coaching staff refused to comment on it to media. Jasper, notably one of the calmest guys on the team, just went apeshit one day. And us the fanbase just went well, if Jasper was mad he probably had a good reason.
I think he probably destined to be career AHLer and you likely won’t see him in Nashville for his whole career unless some kind of disaster befalls Nashville’s NHL locker room and/or front office this year, however I am really excited that he landed somewhere because I was worried!! And I’m glad he landed in Nashville because the vibes are on the move!! if he ends up in a locker room with Luke Prokop, it’s going to be a gays-only event. (Also going to very funny. Prokop is taller than Jasper and can certainly take care of himself, but big brother Jasper Weatherby will be READY to HELP if Luke needs a grocery store buddy.) If he ends up in a locker room with Luke Prokop and Tyson Barrie and Roman Josi….first of all catch me cryin in the club if he makes it to the NHL again, second of all, it will be the most aggressively queer and queer-allied locker room. I love him. I miss him so much. I hope he goes full protective big brother on Luke in Milwaukee, because it will be inCREDIBLY funny to watch a 6’3 dude be the emotional support golden retriever for a 6’5 dude.

(I typed this up for my Japanese study log lol but it was so funny to me, I figured I'd also share it here)
Okay, so...
I was looking at my Japanese study Notion library page and kind of wanted to clear out a slot for Dungeon Meshi, since I wanted to be able to track my progress with the chapter count. I’d had 女装してめんどくさい事になってるネクラとヤンキーの両片想い ("Crossplay Love: Otaku x Punk" in English) volume 3 in there since literally the day I created that page, I think. I had sort of given up on it last year because it was too hard for me to read at the time for what my level of investment was in the story, plus I got sort of busy with the translations and ran out of time/energy for manga reading projects, so I’d basically shelved that book for the time being.
I had gotten like halfway through the volume already, though, so I thought why not just read the rest of it so that I can move it out of my currently reading section? So I started reading it again and abruptly realized that I didn’t super remember a lot of the details in the story. At the time when I had started reading it, volumes 1 & 2 had been translated into English, but 3 hadn’t been translated yet, hence why I had picked it up in Japanese. Fortunately for me, though, the English translation has gotten a lot further now!
So what I did was speed-read up to the chapter I left off in English, then I finished the volume in Japanese. Hooray! I could remove it from my currently reading section!! 🎉
Except… after finishing volume 3, I wanted to know what happened next, so I just kept reading (in English) and quickly finished volume 4, then 5, 6, 7…
(You can probably guess where this is going.)
I reached the end of volume 7 and was like “aw man, I want to know what happens next, but I’m not sure if I care enough about this series to take the time to read it in Japanese… I’d rather just wait and read the English translation of this one and spend my energy on things like Dungeon Meshi instead.”
But I have spectacularly poor impulse control when it comes to this sort of thing, so just like what compelled me to buy volume 3 in the first place, of course I ended up caving immediately and buying volume 8 in Japanese, and I ended up back in the exact situation I had tried to resolve in the first place, with the series still technically on my currently reading list… 😩
Thankfully, my Japanese is better now than it was a year ago, and I can read manga way faster now, so I ended up sort of, uh, inhaling the series, or at least reading it about as fast as it was humanly possible for me to read it. In English, I can easily tear through a volume of manga in under half an hour. In Japanese, it probably takes me like 10x that.
I was on a bit of a deadline because I’m trying to stay super caught up on the TJPW translations to the best of my ability, so I had a narrow window between finishing the previous translation (for the last VOD show after the VOD went up on Wrestle Universe) and getting started on the next translation (which is for another VOD show, so I usually wait until the show gets uploaded before I start translating it, which is usually three days after the show happened).
I finished my first draft of the 2.17 show translation on Tuesday, February 20 (the day I watched the VOD), got my questions posted by early Thursday, and got it edited and published by early Friday, which was the date of the next show (with a 3-day timer after that until the VOD goes up and I need to drop everything else to translate).
So I had roughly a 5-ish day window with essentially no translation workload. I read a chapter of Dungeon Meshi, then finished 女装してめんどくさい事になってるネクラとヤンキーの両片想い volume 3, then ended up reading volumes 8-12 in Japanese basically as fast as I could because I was invested in the series and I also really didn’t want to have to stop reading to work on my translations (the surprise 2.26 press conference from TJPW happened fortuitously at the end of this period). In total, I think I finished five volumes in about four days.
…And the huge reveal that I’ve been waiting for the entire series, which is the main reason why I felt compelled to read on, still hasn’t happened 😩. Never start reading a slowburn romance when the story is still in progress… 😔
I saw at the back of the manga that the series apparently updates on the fourth Monday of every month, so I ended up finding it on pixiv, and I got there just in time for chapter 107’s release (volume 12 ends with chapter 105, so there are two new chapters available on pixiv), so I’ve now read literally every chapter currently available.
I’m in the same boat as the Japanese fans now, I suppose! Waiting a whole month to get drip fed a little bit more of the story at a time… It brings me back to my days of following webcomics as they were happening, which I was never very good at, so we’ll see if I fare better reading serialized manga.
I guess to review 女装してめんどくさい事になってるネクラとヤンキーの両片想い, difficulty-wise, I found it honestly harder than Dungeon Meshi, because even though it takes place at a high school and theoretically has more normal vocab, like every single character in the story talks weird in way that is totally different from how the other characters talk weird, and there’s far more slang and stuff written out in a way that isn’t super parseable by Yomichan (which I'm able to use on the book thanks to Mokuro). So my lookup tools didn’t account for my weaknesses nearly as well as they did with Dungeon Meshi.
I can see why I dropped it last year, because I lacked some of the grammar back then that I understand a lot better now. It’s the kind of story that is best enjoyed as easy reading, so once you take away the ease of reading, I think it’s hard to push through the difficulty in order to keep going.
Reviewing the story purely in terms of enjoyability, well, obviously I did enjoy it, haha! It’s a very unique story and it went to some surprising places in terms of the themes and story developments, considering the fact that most of the plot revolves around what I can only describe as Shakespearean comedy levels of ridiculous crossdressing drama.
The main point of interest to me was the LGBTQ themes, and I would say that it honestly surpassed my expectations there. We’re not at a point where “these characters are trans” is part of the explicit text of the story (and it might never go there), but the main relationship is gay no matter how you slice it, haha, and there’s another major character whose story reads as very much a trans narrative, and there’s a canonical lesbian couple as well.
Something I really appreciate about it is that interactions with those characters are some of the major driving forces in the relationship between the two main characters. Like, there’s a sense of commonality and shared experience between them and those other characters, and sometimes a sense of alienation and yearning at what the others have, which the main characters feel that they’ll never get to experience because they’re trapped in a situation where they can’t be their authentic selves.
A friend asked me how yuri it is, and honestly I'd say very? I don't think it bills itself as either GL or BL (and people who read exclusively either would probably both be unsatisfied with it). But to me, the core relationship and the conflicts that the characters increasingly grapple with as the story goes on feels more like the kind of thing you’d see in yuri. There’s a whole lot of yearning.
I was amused by this panel from volume 8 because there’s some slang in there and a few non-WaniKani/non-textbook words, but I’d learned literally all four of the new words from translating TJPW, including the one with a non-WK kanji in it (and two of the words were tricky translations so I remember them pretty clearly haha), so I was able to instantly read this panel without needing lookups:
If I'd timed it a bit better and waited for a 50% coinback sale on Bookwalker, I could've gotten a great deal on it lol but I was too impatient to wait fdjkghdfjkg. At least the Japanese edition is way cheaper than the English one...

Ok guys I need help- I fucked up completely and I need some really good advice 🥴
So most of you know my classmates by now (I wrote plenty irl stories about them ⟪ part 1, part 2, part 3 ⟫). Summarily: I'm the only girl in this man domain (learning a craft) but I'm getting along really well with the boys. We mess around all the time and have lots of play fights where I manage to whoop most of the guys asses due to my long-lasting experience in martial arts. But lately they discovered a fatal weakness of mine- and they overuse it completely!
GANG TICKLING is the worst
So after New Year's Eve Phil promised me his New Year resolution is to not tease me anymore and I actually believed him (don't ask me how I could be this naive)- so... it didn't even take him 10 minutes to start his poking attacks again, followed by countless more.
That was two days ago. In the meantime he somehow managed to win all the other guys over! His efforts seem to pay off finally...
Let me tell you about only one situations from today: (There are too many actually but this is the worst one so far)
I not only get attacked continual (mostly sneaky and from behind... these cowards) but also had one of our classmates coming up to me, when I tried to fill in an important document. Let's call him Aiden.
His Hands formed claws and an evil smirk appeared on his face. I sighed and shook my head in a defensive way: "Don't! I've had enough." (You gotta now it was 4 pm and I got tickle attacked all damn day. There was no embarrassment left. I lost. I didn't care about my tough facade anymore.) Before he could even answer me, Phil stood up from his desk and was right on the spot (surprise 🙄).
"Oh yeah! You gotta tickle her like this!", Phil showed him a pinching movement with is fingers and grinned. "Wait, let me show you!"
"NO!", I protested insistent.
"Yeah I think you'll have to show me in order for me to get it right.", Aiden played along and smirked at least as much as Phil who came closer quickly.
"Godammit! Don't!", I didn't want to but I had to stand up from my desk to make a few quick steps backwards.
"What's the matter shorty- can't take it?", Phil mocked while Aiden laughed at his teasing. Then he made some quick steps forward so I turned around and ran. Yes, I ran for my dear life. I couldn't take another attack with others watching and enjoying the show!
But I straight bumped into Joey who was working next to me. I tried to at least hide behind him, hoping he'd defend me maybe. We usually get each other in deep shit but if it really matters, we're there for one another.
Not this time obviously- ugh 😩
He turned around and smiled down at me, shaking his head like a disappointed parent whose daughter got in trouble again. Aiden and Phil caught up to us and immediately pounced on me.
"Johehey! Heheeelp!", I screamed helpless and in panic but Joey didn't even took this into consideration.
While Phil went for my ribs at once, Aiden did his best to capture my arms and stop me from breaking free. Joey came to ACTUALLY HELP him so both got a free hand to tickle me. (I'll get him good for this betrayal!!)
IT WAS THE WORST you guys. I couldn't help but laugh and scream and try to shake them off without success. The whole class was literally forced to follow the action. I noticed a few comments but I was too deflected to actually get what they were saying.
But just wait! The most embarrassing part is yet to come: They didn't stop until our teacher entered the room to check on us... only to find us like that:
Three grown men, kneeling on the floor, tickling a young woman to insanity with a bunch of guys standing around them, watching and commenting the scene.
Our teacher seemed to be overburdened by the situation but managed to instruct them to get off of me. He knew we're friends so at least we didn't have to explain it was not a sexual assault but oh god that was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life...
Even after that they did not stop! It seemed they developed a taste for it... to see the good: I got two more days left. Only two more days. Can't get any worse than that, right? Right? 😰

HOUSE OF USHER WAS SO FUCKING GOOD!! I loved it. Everyone in this family was a gigantic asshole and they lowkey deserved their fate (not Camille though, she is mother and can't do anything wrong). The cinematography, the metaphors, the shots. Everything was so beautiful and once again Mike managed to create such a wonderful story with great horror elements. I love that guy. And I'm so happy that I called the "twist"/reason for everything that's happened around episode 4. Usually I suck at predictions but now I'm so proud of myself 😁 You really have to force your brother to watch Hill House! Everyone must see this masterpiece at least once in their lives.
My day was good. I had fantastic food for lunch, hung out with the chickens and binged House of Usher. And read many more Wanda/Nat fics...

THAT SHOW SO WAS FUCKING GOOD AND ONLY FOR 8 EPISODES?!?! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 10!! Kate Siegel try not to serve cunt challenge (impossible)!!! I loved all of the little references to Edgar Allan Pie’s story, especially the name ‘Fortunato.’ I had to explain most of the references to Poe’s work to my brother because he never got to read them in 8 grade because that was his covid year sadly, but he really loved that show!! It took me a hot minute to guess the twist, but I eventually did around episode 6 😭 I’m probably going to rewatch it again but after I read Poe’s stories, just so I can get a better understanding of it. And oh my god, I actually ship Verna and Madeline!!! Her final monologue in episode 8 was peak Mike Flanagan, and every word was written to perfection! Trust me, my brother will watch Hill House whether he wants to or not!

Okay, this list was so hard to narrow down and I'm sure I still forgot some, lol.. I was addicted to TV shows at one point (it all started with House and Heroes in about 2008 and lasted for years), I've barely watched anything in the past couple of years, though. Alright, let's get to it! I'll TRY to keep this short..
1. Will & Grace: Smart humor, top-notch physical comedy, amazing cast.. Is it perfect? No. No show is. I once saw a video in which Megan Mullally said something along the lines of "our worst episode is still funnier than the best episode of other comedy shows", which I respectfully disagree with, but it's definitely high quality entertainment! The reboot (or the last 3 seasons, whichever you prefer) admittedly wasn't that enjoyable, but the original finale sucked, so at least the characters got the ending they deserved!
2. Pushing Daisies: I love procedurals and I love shows with a supernatural aspect, so a combination of the two is an absolute win! This show deserved much more than just two seasons! I should rewatch it for a third time soon..
3. Sherlock: What can I say? I got hooked immediately with "A Study In Pink", I rewatched it at least 4 times while waiting for episode 2 to air in my country.. Welp, I couldn't wait, I binged the next 2 eps the next day, lol. To this day "The Reichenbach Fall" remains the best episode of any show I've ever seen and that's the reason why, despite the abomination the final season was, Sherlock made my top 3.
4. The Last of Us: Do I even need to say anything?! I doubt there is anyone who missed everyone and their mom singing the show's praises after each episode, lol. Episodes 5, 6 and 8 were pure television gold! The only reason I didn't put the show higher on my list is that we've only seen one season so far and it's still not clear in which direction season 2 is gonna go.. 🤷♀️
5. Only Murders in the Building: Another show that got me hooked with the series premiere already! Of course, the main reason I started watching it was the main trio of actors, but the show is about so much more. I love getting to know the character's backstories as we're trying to uncover the killer.
6. Schitt's Creek: Okay, what can I say about this show? Like with Will & Grace, the first season may not have been "all that" (just my opinion), but from season 2 onward it became a comedy gold! The characters quickly grow on you and make you care about all their highs and lows.. And Moira f**king Rose is hands down one of the best characters on TV ever!
First, a little fun fact nobody asked for: I've finally gotten around to watching this show when covid started and my timing couldn't have been worse - I binged the entire thing within a week, I had one episode left the day the penultimate episode aired and then I had to wait a whole week for the finale! 😩😂
7. Person of Interest: A great procedural with an interesting "twist" (for a lack of better word).. But again, aside from the 'cases', you care about the characters as well. I remember there were at least 2 eps which made me cry.
8. Young Royals: Am I a little too old to be enjoying this show this much? Maybe. Do I care? Hell no! But I'd argue that rather than a teen show, it's a show about teenagers. I originally had no intention to watch this show, but I read a fan review which was very positive, so I figured that I might as well give it a shot and if nothing else, I'd at least pick up some Swedish (Boy, was I naive, lol! The opening scene already showed me that I'll be lucky if I learn 2 words.. 😅). Ahem, sorry, to the point - all I know is that no other recent show had me looking up release Dates and actually worrying that there won't be another season. The show just sucks you in. And it is about so much more than the main romance arc! But apparently I'm partial to the "idiots in love" trope, lol.
9. White Collar: Did I mention that I love procedural dramas? Lol. The main reason I started watching this show was that I fell in love with Matt Bomer's character on Chuck and I simply wanted to see more of the actor. Little did I know how much I'd be enjoying it, even though I didn't agree with each and every of Neal's decisions. Although, if I remember correctly, it was also starting to run out of steam toward the end. I know everyone was hoping for a reboot, but now I'm not sure it would be the same without Mozzie.. 😔
Honorable mentions: Chuck, Monk, Abbott Elementary, The Good Wife..
I'm sure I'm still forgetting many others but this is probably enough.. 😅

oh i will talk fandom with you because puentalay run circles in my mind all day everyday and i need to let them out but idk how.
puen has personality of biggest loser but luck of thousands gods because talay fell for him and 1) they didn't see each others faces 2) talay didn't know how rich he is 3) they have maybe not even one common interest (only writing scenarios but talay was forced to do it and I don't think he'll continue to do it in the future) and still their bond feels so natural and strong??? they really live just to do the best things which are bicker and bang and enjoy good food.

But yeah, I absolutely adore how they drove home that appearance plays no part in their connection. I'm sure they find each other physically attractive (in both their own and the other universe) but they were fully aware Tess and Tun's bodies didn't belong to them and fell in love anyway. It was all about the person inside. That's love man 😩
Also asldkjfld oh man I'm sure @stormyoceans is far more informed than I am but I can think of a couple things they have in common! We see them flying kites, fishing(?), and riding bikes in episode 2, plus they're enjoying a movie together in episode 10. And *sighs in I-don't-drink* we all know they like their alcohol. What's awesome about these two is that you can easily imagine them trying new things together, simply because they enjoy each other's company so much 😊
OH BOY YOU ASKED FOR IT. Because I have to be extra about this, here's at least one (1) favorite PuenTalay moment of mine per episode:
Episode 1 - Talay gifting the alpaca hat (and this line in particular)
Episode 2 - drunk!Talay kiss & "Ai'Dang!" (also proud of myself for calling that line was gonna come back when this episode aired)
Episode 3 - Talay not only trying to cheer Puen up (in his own goofy way) but also giving him advice without judgment (yes I like the bath scene too but this one is more meaningful to me personally, it's such an important step in their relationship)
Episode 4 - Talay teasing a shy Puen (rare in the wild) & the cheek-pinching battle
Episode 5 - the mouthing-words thing coming full circle by way of Puen reassuring a sad and lonely Talay he won't leave him behind
Episode 6 - Talay confessing everything he loves about Puen & whatever the hell this is
Episode 7.1 - this entire fucking scene
Episode 7.2 - Puen running right over with a home-cooked meal because he heard Talay was sick + the following conversation
Episode 7.3 - and of course, the emotional climax
Episode 8 - Puen pulling one over on Talay (and immediately explaining why), Puen being a horny bastard, them being total nerds, and THE scene which has to be one of the most romantic scenes I’ve ever seen
Episode 9 - Puen being a horny bastard yet again while making this face, Puen helping Talay with his trauma (again, no judgment to be found) despite having a terrible fight with him last time they saw each other, them making up in an understanding, healthy way, and Puen realising who Talay is in their own universe
Episode 10 - this bathtub scene because I love just how frickin’ comfortable they are with each other (even though I’d never dangle a tablet above my bath what is wrong with you Puen) & them hugging in elation after finally finding the link that’ll bring them back home
Episode 11 - WHAT THE HELL ELSE (+ them falling over during the kiss because that’s an adorable touch)
Episode 12 - this one might be incomplete because I’ve only watched it once and I’m holding off on a rewatch but! them being domestic and bantery and adorable in the opening scene, Puen pulling an Enchanté, and Puen’s proposal (Lays get the fuck outta here)

yes lmao for the first month I watched at least two episodes every day, but more like 4-5 on average… then it became more like 2-3 per day on average. oh gosh, ik it’s cliché to say they’re just so talented but they rlly are!! and it truly shows with how much their music has changed and evolved throughout their careers, they have such a diverse discography which is what i love abt them. they’re also such a genuine and funny group—my dad has even watched got7 compilations with me before and enjoyed them 😭 i think they’re a great group for whenever you’re feeling down to help you get to feeling better again.

jaebeom! him being a cat person is probably at least 80% of that LOL but he’s so genuine and caring w the members too 🥺

Hello~! Today I thought of starting a journal <3 because I was bored ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
Honestly, idk wat to write abt (• ▽ •;) but I hav so many notebooks around. Mama gives me one every Christmas even tho I don't ask for one 💀
AnYwayS it's late alr (it's literally 2am) I hav class tomorrow. Crossing my fingers I don't wake up late–
... I jinxed myself (ب_ب), Emma thinks grimly while looking around the room for an empty chair. To be fair, I usually wake up late so did I really jinx myself?
She visibly brightens when a hand shoots up to wave at her frantically, and rushes to the empty seat beside her best best friend.
"Machan!" "Kocchan!" The girls beam at seeing each other.
"Why are you late?" Kumiko asks the other unpacking her books.
Emma shrugs, "I found some notebooks yesterday while I was cleaning. I was thinking maybe I should start journaling again... Hehe I got distracted and slept late."
Her friend looks unimpressed by this. "Knowing you, you probably didn't even write much OR finish cleaning..." Kumiko crosses her arms to stare Emma down like their homeroom teacher would if he found out she entered class late. "Emerson Brown, you stayed up reading mangas again didn't you?"
Emma smiles sheepishly, guilty as charged. She didn't expect less from her best friend. That girl knows her from her OTP to the many shōjo mangas hidden all around her dorm, especially between and behind the folded clothes in her closet.
"Hahh... Maybe I should tell Haida-kun he can sit next to me next time so you'll be pressured to come to class earlier." Kumiko looks away, sighing.
Emma gasps, "You wouldn't! You said you love me 😞-"
"You're right I won't lol. My heart belongs to Gallahan only 😩-" They talk at the same time.
"Bruh."
"I-I mean- Why would I do that to my bfff? I love you 🥺 🫶"
Emma looks down, a shadow casting over her features, "No. I get it..." She looks up with stars in her eyes. "Gallahan is the best!"
"I know right!!!" The two fangirls giggle over their best boi from the most recent manhwa they were reading.
The door opens and everyone stands up to greet their teacher, "Good morning, Sensei!"
As they sit back down, Emma grins mischievously. "Hehe~ I know another reason why you don't let Haida-kun sit next to you: You can't fangirl over our sensei with anyone else!" Emma nudges a flustered Kumiko playfully.
"H-hey! You're so loud!" She nudges her back harder, making Emma laugh.

"I can't believe it's only Monday and we have what? 4 presentations due on Friday already?? ... Can you believe it?" Kumiko rants while they wait for their takoyaki.
Emma lets out a long sigh. "Is the takoyaki done? (●´⌓`●)"
Kumiko shoots her now zombie-looking friend a sympathetic look.
"Here are your orders, miss."
She hurriedly thanks the seller for the takoyaki and hands Emma her bowl. She watches her friend's face color with life at the smell of food, and exhales in relief at seeing her friend back to normal.
Emma immediately eats one, whole. While eating her own share, Kumiko watches as sparkles and flowers appear around a happy Emma. She always has this aura whenever she eats food. Seeing her enjoy eating just makes you wanna enjoy food as much as she does.
"Ohh I have an idea!"
"Yeah? Tell me." Kumiko's reply is muffled by the food in her mouth.
Emma smiles even wider, "Café study date! You and me."
"OM to the G. Yes!" The two continue to make plans while walking to the main yard.
"We can take turns with the bill."
Emma hums in agreement. "Yeah sure! Do you wanna go to the cat café we went to last Christmas?"
"I don't think we can handle those cute distractions... Oh!! Maybe we can go to the café near my house!"
"Kocchan, what did you just say about distractions?"
"Just because the waiter is cute doesn't mean I'll get distracted 😌"
"kocCHANN 💀"
"Okok fineee." Kumiko stops at the sight of the main gate. "We're here. Let's just continue later."
Emma nods, "Kk! I'll walk you there. I need to throw this too."
"You're done already?"
"And you're not?"
Kumiko pauses and blinks at her friend. She laughs and the two hug. "Bye, Machan! See you tomorrow!" "See you, Kocchan! Get home safe."
Emma continues to wave until Kumiko turned the corner and disappeared from her view.
She turns around and heads to the dormitories. As she enters the third dormitory building, her phone rings.

She gets excited when she sees the caller's name. Ma!
"Hi Ma!" Emma greets. "How are you?"
"I'm not your mA."
She pauses for a second then brightens at the familiar voice. "Lia-neesan!!"
"Hey Machan. How's your day?"
"Meh. The usual hell 😮💨 We have 4 presentations due on Friday already! And guess what?"
"Hm?" Her sister hums.
"I'm groupmates with annoying freeloaders ://"
"Bruh. Again?"
"I know right!"
"Good luck."
Emma laughs at her sister's tone. "Anyway, why are you calling from Ma's phone? Where is she? Can I talk to her?"
There is a pause from the other side. Worried that the signal became shit, Emma calls her sister. "Neesan? Can you hear me?"
On the other side of the call, Dahlia bites her lip. Hearing her sister call her makes her sigh. "Mama... She wanted to call you but Nico and Mikey drew on Drea's face so she had to go check that out. That's why I called instead to ask how you're doing... but she did want to call you! It's just..."
Emma doesn't hear anything after her sister told her about Ma checking on what happened to Andrea. What was I expecting?
Mama and Papa are always too busy for me. Always too busy with work and taking care of the four monsters I call my younger siblings, that they don't have time for me anymore.
Sometimes I feel like they don't even remember I exist.
I bet Lia-neesan was the one who reminded Ma to call me because she knows that I'm lonely here.
If it wasn't for her or Kocchan, I don't know if anyone would even remember me. In a lot of people's lives, I'm just some background character. Even my classmates or teachers don't notice me that much. I'm not that "special" or "important." Not even to my family...
"... Machan..." Dahlia's gentle tone snaps Emma from her self-deprecating trance.
"Yeah? I'm here." Emma tries to smile, forgetting her sister can't see her. She starts to rummage through her bag for the dorm keys. A distraction.
"Wednesday is my day off. Movie night?"
Emma sighs, "Lia-neesan... I have class on Thursday..."
"So? We can do it earlier and finish around 10. Or are you turning down the traditional cheese ramen I make for our movie nights?"
"Wait! I didn't say you couldn't come-"
"Too bad~ I have been perfecting my recipe in my free time. Oh well, maybe you can just eat Dahlia's Grand Ultimate Cheese Ramen of Yum some other time~ like maybe next week because I'll be busy with work~ or maybe even next, nEXt week~!" Emma could hear her sister smirking as she spoke.
Sighing, she gives in. "Okayyy fine. Only until 10!"
"Mhm. But I bet you'll be the one to ask to watch another movie." Dahlia chuckles and Emma couldn't help smiling at her sister's efforts to cheer her up.
"Thank you..."
"Anytime Machann~"
"Dahlia!" Emma freezes at the faint sound of her mom's voice.
"Ma, I'm talking to-"
"Dahlia!!"
Dahlia exhales at their mom's persistence. "Ma's calling me. Probably to help sort the quarrel out. Bye! See you on Wednesday."
The happiness Emma felt left as quickly as it came. "Ah... Bye."

She opens the door, only to be greeted by a dark, messy dorm. Kocchan was right when she said she didn't finish cleaning. Emma meant to, but she got distracted with the journal, which was still open and in the middle of a scatter of bujo materials, then the mangas she uncovered from their hiding places.
She drops her bag and flops on the Totoro bean bag, sighing.
Spotting the open notebook makes Emma wonder if she'd be able to write something... worth writing about. An adventure of a lifetime or even just a simple but nice memory with her family or friends (if ever she makes any more, which she probably won't). Other than Dahlia, it's been a while since she really bonded with the rest of her family.
She couldn't go home last weekend because she had to finish researching for a paper. Actually, she hasn't come home for the weekend for a while, but it seems like no one noticed anyway.
Even during most of the breaks, she wouldn't come home—not because she didn't want to, but because she couldn't. Just last sem break, there was a problem so she had to stay with Kumiko and her family. They made her feel at home and she very much enjoyed her stay there... but she also wished she could enjoy being with her own family again too.
She curls into a fetal position and hugs her legs tightly. Even with all the stuffed toys, mangas and other room decors, her dorm still feels empty.
A squeak interrupts her thoughts, erasing that numbing feeling of loneliness crawling all over her again. Emma turns to see her dorm mate peering at her intently from behind the cage bars. She smiles at her furry friend, "At least I have you, Ham-Sam."
Ham-Sammy continues to stare into her soul, reminding her of her promise to him this morning. She was in a rush, having no time to even heat food, so she just stuffed cold bread in her mouth and placed some on his food bowl too.
Emma pouts, Damn, I can't even be sentimental with the only living creature who lives with me ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
Sticking her tongue out at her hamster, she grabs her bag and digs through the contents for the container she brought from the cafeteria. It's filled with greens, and Hammy's favorite: celery!
Taking one from the container, she waves it in front of him. She giggles as she observes Ham-Sammy go crazy at the sight of food.
He seems to squeak indignantly at her teasing and she snorts, unable to keep her laughter in. "Okay, okay! Here you go~"
Emma lifts the latch and opens the door. As she reaches to place the celery in his bowl, the little thing jumps on her hand and practically flies out.
"H-hey! Ham!!" She drops the celery and immediately chases after that sneaky rat.
"Come back here!"
"Hey! Don't you wanna eat?? I have celery!!"
"Ham-Sam you little-"
No matter what she says, the critter doesn't listen, enjoying his freedom (and giving his owner a hard time).
After scrambling here and there, Ham-Sammy finds the celery Emma dropped and stops to eat it.
Seizing the opportunity to catch him, Emma starts to tiptoe nearer. She opens her arms, forming an "o" to trap him. She starts to kneel slowly... then swoop! He squeaks in surprise as she catches him. "HA!"
A black hole suddenly appears right underneath her and she falls, screaming all the way down.

You were curled up on one of the couches in the living room. You had a record that you found in Bruce’s collection quietly playing as you read a book. You had grown to appreciate Bruce’s record collection quite a bit. The sad 90’s grunge albums he had pressed onto vinyl calmed you when he was gone at night. The music reminded you of him and it helped to keep you from getting too lost in your thoughts. Whenever he was gone you faced an internal battle as you tried not to think of all the danger he was in. Tonight was no different.
You struggled to focus on the words in the book you were reading. It was just past 3:45 in the morning and when Bruce had become the Bat, the two of you made an agreement that he had to be home by 4:00 AM each night. You spun your engagement ring on your finger anxiously, as if the more you turned it the faster Bruce would come home. The elevator doors suddenly opened. You turned immediately to see Bruce limping into the foyer. You dropped your book on the coffee table and practically sprinted towards him, sliding your arms under his arms to support his body.
“Oh, Bruce. What happened?” You muttered. He didn’t answer. He wrapped his arms around you in a hug. You returned the hug, reaching your hand up to the back of his head to run your fingers through his hair. He sighed, letting whatever anxieties he had been feeling fade away.
“Thanks for staying up,” he said. You frowned. Whenever you stayed up he would always come home and tell you that you shouldn’t have. Something must have happened. You pulled his head away after a moment to look at him. He had a cut on his forehead that was leaking blood. There was a bullet lodged in his suit and beside it there was a hole where a bullet had pierced through the armor. Your eyes ran up and down as you took in the injuries you could see and tried to figure out where others were hiding behind his suit.
“Were you shot?” You asked, panic in your voice.
“Yes. We need to get the bullet out,” he said, leaning on you. You got him into the bathroom on the first floor and ran to go get the first aid supplies from the cave. When you came back Bruce had removed his suit and was left in his boxer briefs. His ribcage was badly bruised and his left leg was bleeding at the thigh from what you suspected was a stab wound. Bruce had put down the lid of the toilet and was sitting and waiting for you. You approached him and got to work on patching him up. You started with the bullet wound on his arm, digging out the bullet before stitching up the wound as best as you could. Since he’d become Batman you had done research on first aid, watching tutorial videos and even taking an online class. Bruce winced as you dabbed alcohol over the cut on his forehead.
“I know it hurts. I’m sorry, baby,” you whispered sweetly. Bruce reached out and rested his hands on your waist as you leaned over him to work on the wound on his face.
“Don’t be sorry for taking care of me,” he said. You carefully sutured the cut on his forehead together. You’d gotten better at keeping his wounds from scarring over the years. You knew the bullet wound would scar though. You hadn’t figured out a way to keep them from scarring yet.
“I’m just sorry it hurts,” you said. “I wish nothing ever hurt you,” you added. The corners of Bruce’s lips tipped upwards.
“I don’t deserve you,” Bruce murmured. You smiled as you got down on your knees to start on the knife wound on his thigh.
“Yes, you do, Bruce,” you said simply. Bruce’s eyes studied your features as you worked. Nobody had ever made him feel good about himself before, but somehow you could with the smallest gestures and quietest words.
“Can I have a kiss?” Bruce asked just as you were threading the needle to stitch up his leg. You looked up at him from where you were sitting in front of him. You loved him most in moments like this. Despite the fact that you’d been together for years and you’d be married in two months, he was still so sweet with you, as if you’d only known each other for weeks. You leaned up on your knees, taking Bruce’s cheek in your free hand and giving him a tender kiss. He hummed contentedly into the kiss. You pulled away after a moment and returned your attention to his bleeding leg.
“I missed you today,” you said as you started on the first stitch. Bruce’s heart warmed at your confession. The two of you didn’t get to see each other as often as you would have liked. You had a job that took place during normal business hours and Bruce was the Batman. Your schedules didn’t always line up well.
“I missed you too,” he said. He always did. Every moment that you weren’t by his side, he missed you. He’d been wanting to ask you to quit your job for the last few months. You didn’t need it. He was going to be able to take care of the both of you for the rest of your lives.
He watched you silently as you worked. You looked beautiful, your eyes focused firmly on the task at hand, lips pressed together as you worked. You finished off the last stitch, stood and looked down at Bruce, realizing he still had his makeup on. You grabbed one of the clean washcloths you had sitting on the counter beside you and reached down, wiping the black paint off his eyes. When you finished you ran your fingers slowly along his cheekbone, and down to his jaw.
“There you are,” you murmured. “My Bruce.” He leaned into your touch and raised his hand to hold yours in its place against his cheek. You leaned down to kiss him softly. “Come on, bat boy. It’s bedtime,” you told him. A small smile of amusement crossed his lips. He laced his fingers with yours as he stood and followed you through the halls to your bedroom. When you got into bed Bruce curled into your body immediately, as if he was trying to make himself smaller. You combed your fingers gently through his hair as he tucked his head into your chest.
“What happened out there tonight?” You asked him in a whisper. The smallest of sighs escaped him as he wrapped his arms around your body. You could feel the way he needed you in his touch.
“A few of them got away. I wasn’t expecting the guns,” he said. You sighed. He was so hard on himself. He had been shot and still he was blaming himself and thinking of himself as a failure. You kissed the top of his head.
“You can’t do it all alone, Bruce,” you said. You slid one hand down to his back and traced careful circles over his scarred skin. He grimaced.
“I’m not alone. I have you,” he said. A slight smile spread across your lips. Bruce’s fingers slipped under the hem of the shirt you were wearing. He tugged on it gently. “Is this mine?” He asked you. You blushed.
“Yeah,” you said shyly. “I like wearing them when we’re not together,” you said. He tipped his head up to look at you.
“Why?” he asked.
“They smell like you,” you said. Bruce let the small smile he reserved only for you rise across his lips.
“And what do I smell like?” He asked. You thought for a moment.
“Home,” was the only answer that felt right. Bruce’s heart warmed, touched by your sweet words. He had to admit that you had become his home as well. No matter where he was, if he was with you, he was okay. He leaned up your body to kiss you tenderly, leaving short pecks down your jaw, neck and collar bones as he rested his head back against your chest. You hummed softly in enjoyment.
“Would you ever want to quit your job?” Bruce asked.
“What?” You asked, confused by this new question.
“I have enough money for the two of us,” Bruce reasoned. “If you quit we could be together more,” he said. You were quiet as you thought about his offer. You did like your job but the thought of being able to spend your days with Bruce instead of stealing the small moments away when both of you were home was very appealing.
“Okay,” you said quietly. “I’ll turn in my two weeks tomorrow,” you finished. Bruce pushed his body up to look at you.
“Really?” He asked, his blue eyes boring into yours. You nodded.
“I’d rather be with you than sitting at some stupid desk,” you said. “And it’ll be better when we have kids,” you added. A grin, a true and real grin, spread across Bruce’s face.
“Can’t believe I’m the one who’s gonna get to make you a mother,” Bruce said softly.
“Wouldn’t want anybody else,” you responded. “Now lay down. You need rest,” you told him. Bruce smiled. You took care of him, as you always did. It was what made you so perfect for him. Bruce took care of the city. But when he went home, you took care of him. Everyone knew that the city needed Batman, but what they didn’t know is that it needed you even more. You were the key to Gotham’s safety, and it was all because Bruce loved you.

moving aside, shōto was already aware of your appointment, and that you were getting your wisdom tooth pulled out

which is why he’s patiently waiting in the lobby, the kind receptionist offering him a mini cup of water, reassuring him that your s/o will be okay
she was right.. and wrong
the dentist finishes the job, and immediately updates him, informs him what he should do
“so we’ve pulled out their wisdom teeth, and—”
shōto blinks, “..wisdom teeth?” the plural use of the word shocks him.
“ah yeah, y/n had several, we had to take out all four.” your dentist laughs briefly, somewhat amused by the youngest todoroki’s reaction
your dentist continues explaining what to do, what not to do, and how to give you medicine when the pain comes in
so they finally bring you out of the office, and you’re in a wheel chair 😟 since you’re still kinda out of it
“hey angel,” shōto smiles, when the initial shock clears out “you did amazing. you look super pretty.”
“ugh, stop the lies,” you say, your voice muffled by the gauze, “‘m craving in and out.”
shōto knows he should probably tell you that you can’t eat that, but he just smiles, helping you out of the office, and into his car
5 minutes has passed, and once the car stops at a red light, shōto takes a good look at you, just to see how you were
and you’re already in so much pain “oh no, are you already in pain?” he asks, his impatience making him grip the steering wheel
“yessss,” you whine, tears welling up in your eyes, “it’s like.. bakugō was my dentist or somthin’.. who even hired that bastard? gonna.. give him a knuckle sandwich when i see him!”
shōto can handle your post surgery rambles, but he definitely can’t handle seeing you in so much pain
because one, he can’t relate, and didn’t know the pain for you kicked in that quickly
and two, shōto didn’t know you needed four to be pulled out (because man doesn’t have any wisdom teeth in the first place 🙄)
ever so gently takes off the gauze, and if he sees that you’re even in the slightest bit of pain, he’s immediately peppering kisses on your forehead
“i’m sorry, love. the pain will be there for a second.”
a lot of ice is being set on your cheeks. he makes an ice pack for his left hand, and holds his right hand against your cheek for the other side
he doesn’t use any pressure
on the brighter side, at least shōto can have your face in his hands for as long as he liked
he doesn’t care if he’ll get sore keeping you cold, shōto will not move (and it benefits you too so.. win!)
makes you do nothing during your recovery. like.. all you did was watch tv
sleeps on the chair that’s placed against the side of the bed, just to be prepared for anything you need.
and so he could get them with ease.
congratulates you on your recovery with a bouquet of flowers, or a stuffed animal.
though he wishes he could pamper and baby you like that again, he’s glad you’re not in any excruciating pain anymore :)
bakugō katsuki
i think he got his wisdom teeth pulled out before you, but he was lucky enough to only have 2 💀
the entire experience was a fever dream.. from him suddenly craving pizza with a chocolate drizzle on top, to him nearly stepping out of a moving car 😟
refuses to see the videos of him being loopy post surgery, so you sent the videos to his parents 😎
their love for you tripled by tenfolds after seeing the videos.
anyways, he’s aware of your appointment, but he couldn’t drive you there
katsuki was doing something important, and he teased you by saying “this is punishment for sending my parents those shitty wisdom teeth videos >:T.”
but then, he heavily insisted that he’s the one driving you back, and he tells mina (the one that drove you to the dentist) that he’ll be the one to bring you back home
oddly enough, he was calmly sitting in the lobby. but you could clearly tell that he was just waiting for some news to be delivered
all of the people there expected him to be shaking the poor, innocent workers about your whereabouts tbh
but they don’t know how much calmer he could be, especially when the time’s right.
the dentist finally exists the office, and he abruptly stands up, “so?? how are they??”
man already knows about what he should do, since he did his research 2 days before the actual appointment.
so he instead, inquires about your state.
“they’re still a bit loopy from the anesthesia, but that’s to be expected. however, we’ve pulled out 4–”
“what?” the blond sputters, “four? you ripped out four?”
“yes, they had four, two on each side. their pain tolerance is lower than most patients, so kindly make sure to check on them when the anesthesia fades.”
katsuki snatches takes the paper bag of medicine from the dentist’s hands, and immediately marches over to where you’ve been discharged
and this man has a good laugh, because you’re sitting in a wheelchair. his state post wisdom teeth removal was worse, but he didn’t use a wheelchair.
but here you are, sitting in a wheelchair.
“you look shitfaced,” katsuki comments quietly. loud enough for you to hear, of course. because you frowned (to the best of your abilities.)
“meanie.” you weakly throw your hand against his chest, but katsuki takes no offense. “but you took it like a champ, didn’t you?”
“of course. the s/o of bakugō.. katsuki has seen worse.”
katsuki holds in a retort, and decides to help you out of the dentist office, thanking the staff as he helps you into his car (much to their surprise.)
i’m a firm believer that katsuki bakugō is a good driver. he definitely looks like a speeder, but i promise you, he’s not.
in fact, he’s much more attentive when you’re in the car with him, let alone if you’re in any pain.
which is why, he immediately steps on the gas, when he hears you groaning from the pain “it hurts already?”
you muffle, “sooo bad, katsu. i might faint.”
he drives faster than before, not wanting to see you in any pain for much longer. it’s a good thing you’re wearing a seat belt.
carries you into the house, and puts you in bed, tucking you under the blankets tenderly, as he rummages through the medicine bag
“damnit, where is it when i need you?”
as much as he would rip the gauze off, katsuki takes it off as delicately as he possibly could. muttering quick apologizes when tears threaten to spill from your eyes.
“see? wasn’t so bad, right?”
makes you take the pain medicine shortly afterwards. only warns you once, before dumping the medicine down your throat, making sure you don’t choke at all.
he’s that one nurse that’s kinda rough, but actually cares about your well being a lot.
like.. he’ll roll his eyes when you ask him to hand you the remote, but he just goes “tell me what show you want.”
will complain about you not moving when you’re being asked to (like.. sitting up for medicine)
but ends up giving you a scolding, when you try going to the bathroom by yourself, and without his assistance.
he’s obviously prepared. there are ice packets sitting in the fridge, and he immediately puts it against your cheek when you fall asleep
wishes he had ‘that damn icy hot’s quirk’ at a time like this, just for more convenience. and so that he could just sooth your pain, by activating his quirk.
he says he’s going to sleep at his usual bed time. but similar to todoroki, katsuki stays up all night just monitoring you
just.. making sure you’re not in any pain, obliterating any signs of discomfort with urgency.
eventually makes a quick trip to the convenient store, when you’re asleep. all for a pint of ice cream.
so when you’re fully recovered, you have a pint of ice cream, waiting for you in the fridge :) that’s also your favorite flavor
if you don’t like ice cream, he’ll just get any other dessert you fancy.
will tease you after recovery, talking about how wimpy you were with an amused grin on his face (yes, that one.)
but really, he likes babying you like that. just maybe.. when you’re not in so much pain.
“anyways, wanna see the videos i took of you while you were out of it?”
“katsu!”

1. Who was your first girl crush?
Mmm, I think my FIRST girl crush was in middle school. I was convinced I was “straight”, but I was absolutely in love w my best friend Allison, so I think I had Crush Feels but I didn’t understand them yet.
But the first real crush on a girl I was ACTUALLY really aware of and really FELT was my current GF. I had a few relationships prior, but like…they liked me, not really the other way around. But Bridget 😍😍😍 she was my bae before I even came out.
2. At what age did you come out (if you have already)?
I came out, officially, at 18. Again I thought I was straight for…a WHILE. (Me, looking at titties and sweating: im luv boy????)
3. Are you a top or a bottom?
I prefer the bottom bunk on a bed. 😘 (but also ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
4. Describe your dream date!
Oh man okay, so it’s a whole day blocked out together. We get breakfast, go out to a cute downtown with lots of shops and wander around, talking and holding hands. Maybe we sit by a lake and have lunch, and then maybe go to a movie, and afterwards go to dinner and just talk a bunch about said movie. And then just….go home and cuddle all night.
5. What is your favourite thing about loving girls?
I love how authentic it feels. When I was crushing on guys…it was cloying and obsessive and fueled by this upsetting need to be loved and CHANGED by that love. But loving women is…is soft and quiet and Good. It doesn’t feel desperate. It’s natural, and warm. I just. Agh I loVE Women. 😩😍🙌🙌
6. Who is your favourite sapphic celebrity and why?
Kristen Stewart!!!!! I relate heavily to her. She’s so beautiful and so gay and just. Gosh when I found out she was gay suddenly I understood. You know, like, before I just couldn’t figure out her personality. And then BOOM all the pieces came together and I fell in love Immediately.

I’m fat, I’m butch, all my life I thought I was ugly, but then I went to college, specifically to a college Halloween party, and these Gay Gals were like…into me??? It was so crazy to me. It was a CRAZY boost for my self esteem honestly. I was dressed as a grey demon/vampire and I looked dope af too. The werewolf chick gave me SO many eyes 👀👀👀
15. What do you look for in a girl?
A good sense of humor. A good passion. And a big, big heart. I love those who love, deeply and completely. I just want someone who can match me in enthusiasm.
16. If you could go back in time, would you have come out sooner? Why?
If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t come out sooner, but I would acknowledge it sooner. I hid from MYSELF most of all throughout my life. It hurt, to force myself to ignore my feelings because I was afraid. I think letting myself come to terms with it earlier on…would’ve saved me a lot of pain, in some ways. But coming out? I still wish I hadn’t, in some ways. But hopefully, soon, it won’t matter, and I’ll be far from the people who actually didn’t want me to come out.
17. What does a girl have to do to win you over?
Well…hmm. My GF won me over easily, and I don’t think she realizes it. She was kind, and funny, and always so supportive, and her constant gentle, nurturing nature won my heart sooooooo Quick. I’ve known her for six years and I was probably in love with her for five of those years—even if I was too dumb to realize it until for years in 🤣
18. Do you fit any wlw stereotypes?
Oh definitely. I’m a butch who loves flannel and cuts my hair and wears SnapBacks and just. Loves Women. I’m the biggest stereotype but FUCC IT I love it.

Hmm…I love a passionate women. Like, how women let themselves Love Shit So Much!!!! I love when they are like “OH MY GOD DID U SEE—“ let yas boo plz tELLLLL ME!!!

YESYESYES. IT WAS THE BEST TIME. I fucking felt….so good. It was so exciting. So fun. So bright and alive. I felt so at peace there. So many people like me. It was amazing.
