The one where Danny is perfect balance. He only has ecto levels when transformed. And doesn’t have any human dna as phantom.

Useful for hiding.

Bad when the anti ecto acts pass and the Giw begin to collect any contaminated citizen. Bigger problem when Danny is the only amity Parker not contaminated.

The GIW had announced they will begin decontamination on the citizens. Danny was held for a while but never showed any signs of contamination.

This leading to Danny being placed in the custody of some unsuspecting outsider.

It’s definitely a coincidence that the new city Danny has been forcefully moved to suddenly has the appearance of phantom. The GIW most wanted.

Definitely not a cause for concern when phantom starts hunting down villians and heros alike trying to convince anyone the GIW is conducting experiments on the contaminated. Not trying to cleanse them like they claimed.

When we think of Mario and Peach's chemistry in the games, any rescue scene is usually what comes to mind. But there's one bit of Mareach interaction I just had to talk about because it's honestly one of my all-time favorite moments with these two.

The introduction sequence of Luigi's Mansion 3.

We see our characters on a bus ride, and the two of them are sitting side by side. Peach appears to be laughing at something Mario said, and they're both having a great time. All goes smoothly until Toad swerves to the right, causing the passengers to lose their balance and bump into each other.

It takes them a second to steady themselves, and the first thing Mario does as he opens his eyes again is glance at Peach with a smile. But it's not his trademark grin. His expression is quite softer than usual, and meeker too.

Even rarer still: he then lets out a timid chuckle. Something I've personally never seen him do in any other game. He's being shy, bless him. Not openly flustered or delighted, but actually shy.

And what does Peach do? She returns his smile with a bright and gleeful "Yahoo!". An all too characteristic exclamation that she has undoubtedly borrowed from him over time.

It's a very small and brief moment. But OMG does it say a lot about their dynamic.

It captures everything that I find so very charming and endearing about their unspoken affection, and it's a very good example of how I imagine those calm and blissful moments between them to be like. The moments we never see as players, but which are surely there as well.

I wish there was one instance where we got to fully see what a pleasant and peaceful day was like for them. But if this is the closest thing we're ever going to get, then I'm okay with that.

Because this scene alone is downright adorable and it makes me very happy. 😊💞

Do you write Astarion as asexual in Perfect Slaughter? Tyrus and him would be quite compatible in this regard then.

Hi anon! Buckle in, I love this topic so my answer is hella long 😂

Astarion is not asexual in Perfect Slaughter 😊 Perhaps not so evident because it's not in his POV, but he finds Tyrus physically attractive immediately in ch2, and imagines being intimate with him again (minus the obligation of their first encounter) by ch6! Of course, that all goes to hell in a handbasket by ch7 as we know, but even if it hadn't, I think Astarion both in bg3 and PS is great representation for people who may display as somewhat ace because they're sexually traumatized.

In PS, he's often forced to go out multiple times a month to whore his body and is at the same time being preyed upon at random by Cazador, so he’s getting way too many sexual encounters for all the wrong reasons and that trauma has somewhat suppressed his desires in the midst of falling in love with Tyrus, who is a safe haven from those obligations and horrors. But sometimes his attraction jumps out at him (ch12 or 17, anyone 😏) in moments when he feels uncommonly safe and loved, and in those cases we see more of what he'd probably be like once out of this terrible circumstance and with time to heal. He hasn't actively pursued sex with Tyrus because the act has terrible, visceral associations for him still right now (and due to his worries of manipulating and hurting Tyrus). He both desires it, and is terrified by it.

One of the reasons I really like pairing him with a demiromantic asexual but still sex-positive character is because Astarion gets the chance to be loved without physical attraction and sexual desire even coming into play at first. Tyrus is endeared to him right away, wants to be closer to him, and enjoys giving and receiving physical affection, all without sex coming into the picture on his end. But Tyrus being sex-neutral/positive means that one day, if and when they finally feel safe enough, Astarion can also enjoy the sexual intimacy he still desires in PS (and clearly does in bg3, too).

Basically, I'm showering our pale boy with every single goddamn thing that he says he desires in a partner in bg3. He wants a caring partner who doesn't think of him in terms of sex? I'll write it. He wants to wake up next to a handsome virgin every morning? I'll give him Tyrus 💙
