I dont want to get my hopes up, because for some reason Descendants teasers usually look much better then the actual movie, but this looks... really good?
It may be just me, but the costumes and makeup look so much better then most of the things in Descendants 3 did. I mean it still looks like disney channel fashion, but that isnt necessarily bad.
They both look really good to me, I like the style and color palettes. It looks fun! I felt the last movie tried to give the characters more "adult" clothes in some scenes and it didnt worked that well.
On the other hand, again, why is the atmosphere so grimmy? All the scenes looks as if it was very cloudly outside.
At first I thought it was at night, but this window makes me doubt it, is a little too much light for it to be night, is more like the white sky of a stormy day.
And this image of Cinderella and Prince Charming has that same vibe, with gray sky and a bit of fog on the background.
I've been seeing so much hate for it, but I'm really excited. Sure, they may not have the OG cast. But I'm not missing my chances of seeing a potentially great movie just because the OG cast isn't in it. And the way yall begged for YEARS for there to be a fourth movie but now that it's official, yall are mad actually baffles me. Also, instead of complaining that there's gonna be a fourth Descendants movie, learn to be grateful that they didn't replace Cameron.
Just saying, if I had a nickel for every time there was a film with a plot of time travelling to the past where a younger queen of hearts/red queen is actually nice and good until something causes her to go evil and the plot involves wanting to undo said something, I'd have two nickels...which isn't a-lot, but it's weird it's happened twice-
Uma being the principal fits her character so well! She cares about the people of the Isle and fight for their freedom and acceptance, now she can do the same for everyone else beyond Auradon. She probably made friends with a few people while she was on the run. I love how Mal approached her with the job as well, it kinda shows how far they’ve come. And for those of you saying she’s a little young for it, please remember Ben became king at 16 and Mal got married before she was 18 so is this really out of pocket?
