Someone had managed to sneak up on him, immediately after a fight.

Damian, exhausted and wounded and ever so slightly drugged by fear toxin, reacted.

He'd spun around and run his katana through the attacker-but it wasn't an attacker. It was a civilian, who was staring down at the sword in his chest with a stunned expression.

The civilian looked up, blue eyes meeting Damian's through the mask.

"I was just..." The man trails off, dropping the first-aid kid he'd been carrying.

Damian knows his time as Robin is over.

Danny, on the other hand, can already feel his healing factor trying to kick in, and just needs to figure out how to convince Robin to remove the Katana so it can work without letting Batman know he's a meta.

Watching Bungou Stray Dogs and seeing the wild shit that happens in Yokohama every single day made me realise that it's the Gotham of the BSD verse. Imagine being late to work cos a dragon attacked your city or missing your train cos a building got blown up by a Victorian looking dude who's apparently mafia or your fucking math teacher being declared a terrorist on national television along with the craziest and most attractive group of people you've ever seen, one of whom you're certain is the farmboy who you swear you've seen carry an entire cow over his head once.

So yeah, Gotham = Yokohama

Headcanon: As well as the abundance of scales dragons shed, many species also lose and regrow their teeth periodically (like sharks) and it's always been tradition amongst vikings to display parts taken from dragons they killed as trophies, but now Berkians celebrate and use things dragons lose naturally. For weaponry (like how the dragon riders used shed scales for their armor) for jewelry, accessories and decoration.

Dragons have always been an integral part of Berk's culture but over the years the reasoning behind it has shifted, now they wear teeth or scales of their dragon's in pride of their beauty and the bonds they share, or for remembrance of the deceased. They put up tapestries and include them in their architecture no longer as displays of their dragon killing prowess, but in celebration of them, their nature and the peace they've made.

They're proud of their dragons, they love them and want the world to see it.

turns out this note wasn't all i've done for this piece. i was thinking a lot about astarion's perspective slowly shifting when it came to intimacy and sex.

With time, when he saw her splayed naked on top of the sheets, Astarion stopped thinking about all the bodies that he had doomed, or all the people that were careless with him, that hurt him. His mind slipped less and less to the horrid nights when he had forced himself to touch those he'd never wanted, those that sent disgust creeping up his throat. The times he had to fight those thoughts soon dwindled in numbers as something warmer, something kinder replaced them.

When Astarion looked at her, he felt her softness, he remembered those very first times when they had truly touched each other. Not in the wilderness, where they both felt like cornered beasts doing anything to survive. Not the feigned courtesies and honeyed words, even if — unbeknownst to them — there was a hint of honesty hidden in them. Instead, the spawn thought of his first night of true freedom. How hungrily they touched each other after confessing love. How warm Mal's skin felt when he took her — eager, happy — over the remains of his lost life.

Suddenly, it all started to feel different. How sweet desire tasted when it was backed by freedom, by choice. Astarion could, finally, close his eyes without a worry, touch his lover without the fear dancing at the tips of his fingers. For just a brief moment, he simply let go of all the terror that was ever-present for almost two centuries.

On the station they have many absurd protocols. What do you think is his least favorite. ? Like having to be in uniform or the hours? Just in general

oh, how could he ever choose? eiffel hates protocol as a matter of... well, protocol. uniform code was for sure one of the first things minkowski gave up trying to enforce; eiffel technically wears his uniform, but getting him to wear it properly was always a losing battle. he's never been a morning person, and having to get up early in the morning when there aren't even mornings is just insulting. there's all the repetitive daily tasks that will have to be done again tomorrow. never actually leaving work (and not being able to) really gets under his skin. there are so, so many things that he finds arbitrary, authoritarian, pointless, infuriating, and just plain wrong, but if there's one thing he hates the most, it's gotta be corporate-mandated fun. like, it's one thing to make his life a living hell, but it's a whole other thing to tell him he needs to boost morale about it.
