I’m so in love with the way Xixi expresses his care for Jian Yi because it’s so subtle yet deep. I can’t tell if physical touch is his love language or if he’s deduced that it’s Jian Yi’s love language and acts accordingly. Maybe it’s something he noticed when they were young.

In the middle school timeline he’s rather quiet and stoic but when Jian Yi really needs comforting, he doesn’t hesitate and it’s almost always a soft touch.

And the recent chapter showcases that brilliantly, once again.

So although he isn’t as flamboyantly affectionate or effusive as Jian Yi or He Tian, he still loves and cares deeply. I’m hoping we’ll get a Zhanyi kiss here soon as well.

fionna's world being represented by a dandelion makes so much sense ... they're weeds. yet people make wishes through them, changing their whole meaning from something meant to be destroyed to something hopeful.

dandelions are also resilient and it makes sense that something associated with them would. you know. perservere despite the destruction caused by the scarab.

but ultimately i think what REALLY made me tear up over this is that dandelions are really boring plants. when you're a kid you blow on them and make your wish but they're not eyecatching or anything but still, fionna's final wish was for her old world to still exist as it was when she left it (> plain and simple. boring even).

like the moment she realized she would lose her friends, and that her friends might forget each other if the world got its magic back, she immediately decided she didn't want it and I think that ties back to the dandelion metaphor so well... like, do you really need magic to be real to find it everywhere? or can you turn something boring into something magical?

Oh these two panels hit hard. With the assumption that Mo could hear what this teacher was saying, odds are probably good that Mo and He Tian’s thoughts here aren’t going to align.

I feel like He Tian is absolutely going to be of the mindset that no, this isn’t foolish to me. His feelings for Mo are some of the truest he’s ever known. He doesn’t take them lightly.

But for Mo… I can see him agreeing with the teacher here for the sake of He Tian’s future because honestly what has his association with Mo gotten him? Trouble - with She Li, his brother, potential rival gangs. It just wouldn��t make sense for He Tian to keep hanging around with Mo which makes the panel after even more troubling

Is one resolving to hold on while the other is planning to let go?

I'm sorry but I absolutely lose my mind over them ( I have literally no one who I could ramble about this to and I need to get it out). I want to analyse stuff, so let me just:

*breathes in*

It's visible that they are good friends and have been since the time when Doc deviated, research partners doing... research? Or whatever researchers do *shrugs*.

But there's one thing to it, X created Doc and most of other androids. He understands what is deviation because Doc explained it to him but his friend is still an android after all. We also know that X always calls Doc "Docm" but in previous comic he calls him "Doc" and it is stated that it's the first time he ever called him that. In which moment he calls him that? In the moment when he realises that Doc is more human than android now, I may be delusional about this all but I just feel like: the moment when he sees Etho overpower Doc, shove him and break him and stuff, Xisuma sees that Doc isn't a fearless machine but a someone, a human, he got overpowered by Etho and suffered consequences, he felt fear like a human not a machine. Also he lost his arm because he was trying to stop Etho from hurting X as we see in the second part of the comic, which only adds to that. So, this is the moment where X fully realises that he means something to Doc, not as a creator, but as a friend, and that's why for the rest of the comic he constantly makes sure if his partner is alright by talking to him, glancing at him. You know stuff. He grew closer and closer to Doc as time passed and I think this was the climax - the moment he called Docm77 "Doc".

While Doc is doing the most stoic stuff ever and trying not to self destruct and stuff, he cares about X too, very much even, he's protective towards him and shows it by jumping into danger he could have avoided [ Etho attacked X because he's an admin and probably knows where's Grian - Etho wants to hunt down this pesky bird for killing Bdubs] just so his partner won't get hurt how sweet <3 RIP arm you will be remembered...

Anyways I feel like they should talk about stuff and maybe cuddle and maybe I don't know LIVE?? NOT DIE??

Yeah, I think that I don't even need to explain for how long they've been spinning in my head.

Also wanted to thank you so much for so many kind words on my fanart !! okay so honestly, as much as i love writing rafe to be all dark and stuff it’s hard to tell what he’s actually like in a relationship because we don’t see him going around treating women poorly (aside from his sister but obviously that’s different). the worst we got from him was “tell kiara she looks pretty hot for a pogue” and honestly that’s not even that bad + was said just to get under jj’s skin. in season 1 we see rafe at that party having normal interactions and joking around with the girls he’s selling to, not being creepy or a weirdo — and in s3 we see that he’s actually very courteous and respectful towards sofia. anyway tangent aside

i think there’d be a mixture of both, realistically. whilst rafe was being nice and respectful towards sofia we don’t truly know because it seemed that they were just sleeping together and not in a relationship, and plus they met like a week ago — so we can’t tell if he’ll develop into being more psycho and controlling or if he is able to separate his romantic relationships to his personal struggles.

i think he would be pretty good towards you for the most part. would try and control his anger (doesnt mean he wouldn’t lose his temper occasionally but he’d definitely hold back) the darkness would come more from him keeping secrets about the shady stuff he gets up to / bad things he’s done in the past (shot the sheriff, shot sarah, drowned sarah etc) and probably manipulative when he wants you to see things his way. other than that, not as bad as ppl might think he’d be 😭
