unbelievably sick of this eating and showering business. every day the body has needs. very rude when i put so much effort into pretending it doesn't exist. why do we have AI but still no way to escape the flesh prison or at least make its maintenance easier. what a stupid reality.

i was tagged by the lovely @agibbangs 💖 i think i got pretty close. i couldn’t figure out how to get rid of the red undertones on chan’s face. i sat in front of my computer for a good 30 minutes mumbling, “how did lau do this... how did she make his jacket so black... mine is so BLUE!” i did manage to find lau’s gif tutorial and i added some adjustment layers to get his jacket to a black i like, but man it was a struggle 😂 i think i have a few extra frames, but i got there somehow 🥲

my challenge, if you wish to attempt, is a felix facecam from 2021. my favorite felix fancam actually, the vampire THUNDEROUS performance! the time stamp is around 0:07–0:19. and i actually made this gif special for this tag, it’s not part of any actual set.

finished Padawan (great book highly recommend it is one of my favorites now) and started listening to The Living Force (new book about the Jedi council going on a road trip) audiobook, but the file is refusing to work with the app I usually use for listening so instead of listening to it on 1.5x speed I'm going to have to endure all 16 hours of this book being very slowly read

how do i convince my sister to spend at least 70€ on a ticket for a concert of a band she doesn’t know that i only casually listen to every now and then?

Talking to my sister can be one of the most aggravating experiences

#just allowing myself a few moments of self-pity today #because i'm a little overstimulated/sick of people talking AT me #i have begun to notice that i'm never asked anything... not a single thing. no questions about my life or interests or how school is going #no questions about my partner or our anniversary and no acknowledgement of the big haircut i just got #no questions about my BIL's wedding. none about my health.#every day it's just people talking AT me. kind of tired at the moment...#and this is made worse by my sister's holier-than-thou attitude about literally the smallest and most insignificant things #like washing clothes? and cooking rice?? idk she talks like a housewife now.#and i get to listen to her complain about her 35 year old boyfriend and not say ONE kind thing for 2 hours straight #not a single question for me. not a single nice thing. and i'm talked over constantly #it's not like i don't raise my voice or speak my mind lol #it's just that. between my family and my partner's family. it feels like no one knows just how smart i am and how much fun i can be.#my partner is perfect in so many ways. my best friend and the kindest and most compassionate person i know.#but i really could brag and boast like my sister does over absolutely nothing. because i have actual achievements. but i don't #because who does that lol. fucking annoying and rude people.#maybe my family just thinks i'm okay and so they never ask me anything or call me. ever.#but see.... i don't talk to them because i want advice or help or money. i talk to them because they're my family #and i would very much like to feel cherished and loved by them #/ end angst and self-pity boo hoo

Ao3/ff things that bug me

• a/b/o, not bc it's weird, im veteran ff reader so I'm used to it, but because when that word is written without slashes it's the same as a slur that refers to aboriginal/indigenous Australians. Sometimes I see it in fic recs or summaries and it catches me off guard everytime T^T

• when I'm trying to find a crossover fic but all the fics have multiple tags of the same fandom, (I.e. both chainsawman manga and chainsawman anime) it makes it so much harder to find crossovers ;-;

• PPL USING THE DEAD DOVE TAG WRONG,, like I feel like ppl have started using this tag for the smallest reasons like 'Oh no character a is kinda toxic in this I need to tag it with dead dove' like stooooppp

• the fact that sioc has been basically replaced by x reader,, like nothing against x readers or short like smut fics or whatever, but if you're writing a slowburn, Canon divergence ff about y/n, its not even the reader anymore??? Like,, just give them a name so I don't have keep getting ripped put of the immersion everytime I see (y/n) or [your name], at least write it in 2nd or 1st person

• this one's kinda petty, but when people tag a fic as slowburn when it's barley even 10k, like how is that a slowburn ??

Trying not to be upset that all night in voice chat my friends were talking over me and cutting me off mid sentence and then I said “hey guys I’ll be right back, I’m going to the bathroom.” and when I came back into the room my wife told me they’d all gone to bed. Like nobody was listening to me all night and not a single person could wait five minutes to go to bed so I could also say bye!!!!!!!!!

And during the call I had to put my hearing aids in because one of my friend’s voices is in my hearing loss range and so I asked my wife to turn our oscillating fan off, because with my hearing aids in I can’t hear anything BUT the fan, it like overwhelms them ig, and they got all pissy. And then like fifteen minutes later turned it back on full force, and when I said “can you turn it down, I can’t hear over it” they got mad and just turned it off completely and then refused to give me the remote to turn it to a lower setting myself. Like.

I hate nobody listens nights they always make me so sad. But I am an adult and I know realistically my wife was just frustrated cause our bedroom gets too hot and being too hot makes them really really upset. I know my friends probably just couldn’t hear me since when me and my wife are in chat we just use whoever logged on first’s computer since we’re usually right next to each other. I know nobody meant to hurt my feelings, but they did and I’m sad about it. I just felt very excluded and like my feelings were being ignored all night :(
