losing my mind because caspian is innocent i feel it in my balls but like i was trying to think who else would the mole be??

and it can’t be marshall john— i was about to raise that he couldn’t have feasibly fought off the navy wayy back in episode 1, and perhaps they brought him back in and forced him to be a spy (which could explain his early obsession w/the grand berry pirates and finding lizzie) but like. if this was the case, why would they have put him in the block? let him freeze nearly to death? like usually that’s not what you do with your own spies.

but then also. like. some of my mutuals suggested rudith (hi guys ily muah) and. rudith is a doctor, he had a life previously on joaldo, which is neutral (or is it pirate?) soil. of course, we could ask who trained him? could it have been navy? it’s possible but i just don’t think grizzly would elect for that writing choice. also i believe rudith actually got dropped off in edison kingdom w/his patients. or maybe i’m insane

i think that any other members who joined the grandberry crew just… wouldn’t work out as spies/traitors. they came in way too late. they wouldn’t have as many secrets or intel, wouldn’t be as high in the “ranks”.

but caspian, we don’t really know where he came from. he told gillion a little bit about his family but that’s it.

caspian was there when shadowbeard and ava died. i’m unsure if they mentioned how long he was with shadowbeard’s crew beforehand.

and if he’s there at this upcoming battle that lizzie leads, the parallels would be insane— jay watching lizzie die, the same way lizzie watched ava die.

^ caspian pulling jay out. having the motivation to do so because she’s the vice admiral’s daughter, and could also be a bargaining chip against the riptide pirates.

i said the stuff about caspian before and this is me saying it again and just. trying really hard to think of any scenario where he’s innocent. it may be joever guys

so like

who do we think is the plant on the Grandberries?

Cause my first instinct was caspian, that sauve mother f’er. Gillion is so attached to him, he gave presents, saved Lizzie during the battle w the navy. He has been there the whole time, we have little to no background on him and with the triton skin he seems like the obvious choice…

BUT

Who was taken to a navy facility just 50 mere episodes ago and was rescued in a supposedly impossible rescue mission. Would it not be easy for the navy to assume someone (they might assume Lizzie rather than the riptide pirates) would come to save this beloved character that we have known since episode 1 and swap him with a dopple ganger?

I DONT KNOW MAN THIS IS CRAZY STRESSFUL AND I CANT WAIT SIX MONTHS

JRWI RIPTIDE EP 115 - THE FINAL CHAPTER SPOILERS!!

OKAY So there is a mole on Lizzies crew. I've went over it and here are my ideas to who it may be!

Could be the mole because :

Caspian

Closest person to the captian

In theory a high ranking mole on shadowbeards crew aswell

Present at the battle between shadowbeard and raft. maybe Ava wasnt the person to call it in

His sister is possibly one of the elders of the undersea

Marshal John

Literally Ex-Navy

Spent time training in the Navy till he was high in the ranks only to drop it all and switch sides with one inspiring speech

Rudith

Was quick to throw himself into the action and leave the people he was caring for at the Apothocary

Wasnt shown ever properly caring for the sick people

Prior to meeting the riptide crew he already had been establishing connections with the Grandberry crew

Extremely little known about his past or even current life.

Hardly ever mentioned again after making it onto the crew. Possibly trying to be as unsuspicious and hidden as possible as to not be an imediate suspect

Un-named Crew Member

Infinite possibilitys

We know nothing about any other crewmember so there is no points we can make against them

Couldn't be the mole because :

Caspian

Going off his own word, he would have had no time to train to be a spy between leaving the undersea, joining shadowbeards crew and then imediatley joining Lizzies new crew

its unlikley a spy would spend so much of their own time training other pirates as frequently as he trained Gillion

Marshal John

He trained in the Navy to be an admiral. it would be well known if the high ranking officals were trained to also be a spy and drop all their previous training and everything the best chance they get to join a pirate crew to become an informant, especially a guy as large and loud as John. Not impossible but still unusual.

Rudith

Literally no alibi. Most suspicious and least known

Un-named Crew Member

I dont think Grizzly would make the mole someone we dont know yet before every other person on the crew is paranoid and at odds with eachother on the brink of a giant fight. in any case it would be useless speculating characters we dont even know exist yet which would be infuriating but i trust it would be played out really well.

In conclusion i think Rudith is our mole!
