there’s a dance club a mere block away from where I live, and with the window open I can usually hear the music. this time I start hearing karaoke instead. and it’s drunken singing so I naturally start to tune it out, but it was sounding so familiar that I was like “is it karaoke or are they actually playing a song?” yet I couldn’t place it.
