I think I get it now. This obsession with everything Hobonichi. The smoothness of the paper, the compactness of the book… Oh, and the fact that the pages get louder as I fill them with words and silly little drawings? I’m afraid I’m team Hobonichi now.
This purchase wasn’t planned. I didn’t even have a good use for it when I bought it back in November, but it’s since become my little dreambook - not a dream diary, but a place for dream images and daydreams, thoughts on media and reflections on things that make me feel something.
Finally got to redecorate the cover today. I love how the dark grey looks with gold, and how it completes my Midori B6 Slim planner/bullet journal both aesthetically and functionally.
Every time I raised my head, I saw a girl who sat in front of our table.
She looked young and mature. She had long, black hair and dimples formed when she talked. She had a focused expression when typing on her phone. Like there are important things she cares about a lot and wants to achieve. She looked like a character I'd seen in a TV show.
Next to us, a mother told her daughter to stop whining. The waitress was receiving money from a customer.
I want to be with her so much.

Life’s been stressful, but I’ve been working on my tarot dictionary a lot this past week. Seeing this little book bulk up and gain character has been bringing me so much joy 🌱💜📓
The printed phrases come from a thrifted poetry book. The cards are from Biddy Tarot and are printed on standard printer paper.
Resurrecting this blog after a year of not touching anything related to journaling. This year I resolved to be more consistent with writing down entries (whether a single line or a whole block of text) so we'll see how that goes.
