Wonho + Monsta X - hands

Hyungwon -
His hands are found in poems spilled from bleeding authors, in paintings rendered with oil so finely the brush hairs could be counted by eye. Ever so translucent, his skin is blushed with reddened knuckles, veins rivers blue. The smallest moment of action immortalised in the canvas of his hands. Angular, they cast harsh shadows, ink black spilling in the chasms behind tendons. You stroke over the bruises on his knuckles; he responds impossibly small, timid, fingertips pulling you closer.
Shownu -
Shaped with artistic intent, they don curves, slopes, edges so beautifully unique. You brush past the flat of his thumbnail, trail caught on the peak of his knuckle. Ridges of tendons twitch under your touch; he watches your travels fondly. Tension radiates through his hand, movements to diversify the landscape you explore. Knuckle to knuckle you walk, before taking his hand in its entirety, threading his fingers with yours.
Wonho -
Rough, blistered, they never rest. He treats them as well as he can, nails tidy and glossy, but the weight they carry leaves remnants of itself on his palms. Collateral damage of his will. You graze a finger across the calloused skin, he laughs, hand squeezing yours. Always so warm, a strength to them that doesn't threaten but reassures. He uses his free hand a frame, bringing it to cup the side of your face. A thumb strokes across the stubble peppered on your skin, a morning rushed, mirrored roughness. He still hasn't let go of your other hand.
Minhyuk -
Expansive, they hold the world with ease. Slender fingers, delicate, but always with a paint stain on of the edge of his clipped nails. Blue, normally. They move with purpose, with practiced skill, stability. They tremble still, in moments uncertain, but you hold them steady, tracing a thumb over the defined tendons, over the plush of his palm. He thanks you with safety, with a grasp that will protect you for as long as it can.
Kihyun -
Teasing, dangerous. He knows the subtle movements, the inconspicuous actions that reward him with legs crossed to hide a sudden secret. He knows the way his fingers move in fluidity, stroking his mic stand, up and down... The way he'll mindlessly spin a ring around the soft flesh of a finger, tarnished silver dizzy. The way he'll trace his own contours, fingers rubbing at the protrusion of bones, of tendons and veins. He knows the way you never look away; the way you keep pulling your sweater slightly so slightly lower.
Jooheon -
Hidden in the warmth of his sweater sleeves, he keeps them safe. A soft 'hyung', and you steal his attention, fingers instinctively reaching out for yours, offer of shared protection on their tips. His hands only feel whole with yours, adopting them as such, sharing pockets, sleeves, gloves... He lets go only with a pout, and a promise to return.
Changkyun -
A silent voice, he tells with his hands what his lips cannot. Eyes drawn down, slim fingers find comfort in each other, a ring being spun, a nail being traced. Hands folded in on themselves. Palm warm, a hand on knee, thumb stroking the thigh soothingly. The expanse of his hand offering comfort, reassurance. Duality, forever on his wrist, forever in his hands.

freedom - THIS SONG IS CRAZYYYYYYYY! I love how he gets to showcase ALL of his talents here from rapping to singing to dancing to his producing skills, the message is really special and reminds me of the mxray ep where he was hypnotized ah the growth since then ;-;!!! been watching reaction vids and being like YES! IKR! EXACTLY! when they say anything and ik he's probably doing the same hahaha it's been on repeat and stuck in my head since its release I absolutely love it plus the mv is incredible and this choreooooo cannot wait to see stages!
hype energy - SO FUN! deffo gets me hyped! his rap is so cool and the composing here is SICKKKKKKK the instrumentals are my fav and I can't wait to see it performed bc kmbb saying it's incredible… I NEED to see it and also him channeling his no.mercy outfit w the beanie *o*
독백 - needed a track like this sooo bad >v< and gsoul's voice? heaven. the jazzy elements here like the trumpet ugh love it! the lyrics are so *shakes fist in the air* powerful his monologue... speaking to himself... really emotional I love that he loves himself T____T
voice - loved hearing/seeing it on tour and now we get it on the album!!!!!!!!!!!!!! song goes absolutely insane
evolution - deffo get the anime opening/ending vibes here I’ve seen lots say it reminds them of hahaha can totally picture like a running/fighting scene or something it's super fun the jooruto agenda lives on! and he's right! he IS still evolving!!! what a self aware king
don't worry, be happy - cute so so cute :^( so true to him we can always count on jooheon to deliver the duality from hype energy to don't worry, be happy and ending on a v sincere note
overall I really liked how he gave us heavy rap, a sprinkle of drill, honey vocals, jazz, a joo “ballad” & even some rock!!!!!

001. a tattoo parlour, buzzing with machinery and walls lined with artwork .
"I think we should reschedule for another day!" Ningning said as she nodded quickly and started walking the other way. Ace grabbed her hand quickly giving her puppy dog eyes.
"Noooo Joo is booked for the rest of the month! Anddd I made sure we got the whole place to ourselves so there won't be anyone else but the three of us." He said in reassurance along with giving her more puppy dog eyes. She tried to look away but huffed and pouted.
"Fine! But you have to hold my hand when he does it!" Ace nods quickly and happily.
"Yes of course! I can even show you his work. He's tattooed my womb tattoo and pec tattoo." He went to start slipping off his shirt but Nin stopped him.
"I'll take your word for it baby." She giggled and kissed his cheek. Ace pouted a little but took her hand and tugged her into the shop. He smiled big as he saw Jooheon looking down at papers.
"Hey Joo!" He squealed as he hoped holding onto Ningning. "We're here for the appointment I booked."
"Yeah I was wondering when you would come in, you were standing out there for like 10 minutes." He said as he proped his reading glasses on his head while Ningning blushed with a pout, sticking her tongue out at Joo. The taller man just chuckled as he stood up. "Well alright, I have the designs you guys agreed on and the placements. We just have to numb the areas and start. Who wants to go first.~" He asked as he looked between the two. Ningning looked at Ace with big eyes as he sighed.
"I'll go first, taking one for the team.~" He giggled as he kissed her forhead softly and she bounced saying a soft 'thank you' while they start moving around to get ready.

CHANGKI HOURS 24/7. i am so insufferable about them and show so little of it on here, you can all be lucky. pretty sure my brother is my go-to sounding board for changki and he's not even too deep into mx. but he is a trooper about it. anyways, you are one as well now, mbb anon. i hope this brings you joy to read ijuhzghujik
kihyun: comma is easily my fave solo work he's done. that song brought me to my knees and pierced my little soul in two and then glued it back together. i love it. i know you said it doesn't have to be a song, but man. man, man, man, he's just such a singer, you know? his voice is his instrument and he puts it all out for this song and he got me good. generally voyager was one of my favourite moments of the whole year, so i think the era stands as a whole as my favourite solo work. it was just so kihyun, and it was so perfect in everything. that being said, loved it when kihyun went on midnight idol as changkyun's guest. these losers, i love them. 😭 and if i had to choose a fave kihyun look, listen, he is the resident tangerine. he makes that orange work for him. he even makes red work for him (rare win!). idk how he does it, but he looks like a tangerine and i am game.
changkyun: his baverse episode !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love nothing more out of everything changkyun has done than his baverse episode. it made me fucking cry, man. that one part where he said he spends a lot of time alone and creates a lot by himself because that is where he feels most seen and heard, because not many people understand him or he feels like he fits in AND THEN we see him in the studio with jooheon. cue up my sobbing. nothing is more real than those that really get you, even when you're difficult, and creating from your own sense of self and peace, even when it's difficult. also, i think it showed well how he has a serious, melancolic side but also a carefree, very easily amused and delightful side. duality air sign legend, he's just like me. and on a lighter note, i also really really adored his versace photoshoot, just bc i feel like every look was so distinctive changkyun. and the perfect hair! i don't care about that perfume, but the content we got from it was ace. also, that was and still is his best hair. black-haired changkyun with the longer swept back hair ... only kpop man to wear his hair like that and look, like, even more like himself. icon.
also, yes, all of midnight idol was my favourite thing to happen to me. now radio, please employ them together again .... i want this so badly omfg we had it so good. ok. that was a lot. *insert changkyun imitating drunk minhyuk passing out via windows shut down noises*. i am staying warm as best as i can and i hope so do you, if we share the same hemisphere! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
