I'd like to see Jane, Ace, Vittorio, Jonah and Ghostface with a survivor who just seems to recognise every single other survivor and a healthy chunk of killers (probably more modern ones), holds some of their personal information, but never tells anything valuable about themselves, basically treating everyone either like some micro-celebs or their friends :D
Have been thinking about this for quite some time, and it never ceases to make me giggle.

Ace Visconti:
Ace figured, one day, he’d be a well-known celebrity for his gambling prowess. Though, he never did think it would be in some kind of alternate hell dimension…well, beggars can’t be choosers! He’s ecstatic every time you wave to him from afar, and even more so when you run up to excitedly talk to him like he’s some kind of a movie star. Sometimes, he thinks you may even ask him for an autograph…but he knows that won’t happen.
He’s often curious about your life, though he does enjoy being the center of your attention, but he just can’t help but wonder what you were up to prior to being taken by the fog. He has bets running with a couple of the other survivors about what you did for a living, but none of them have been able to find out who has the right bet.
Sometimes, he’ll try to weasel the information out of you by asking about more insignificant things: did you have any pets? What’s your favorite color, favorite food? He hasn’t gotten anything out of you yet, but he’s sure one day he’ll get some crumbs of information that’ll win him several rare items.
Jane Romero:
Jane had been recognized by a few of the other survivors; which she had expected, her television show had been quite popular, and she imagined the ratings must’ve skyrocketed once she died. She liked to think of meeting fans in the fog as a positive. In the world before, she never really would’ve had a chance to get to know anyone who knew her, but here, you all kind of have to get to know each other. She prides herself on being friendly with every survivor, including you, and you seem to be her biggest fan.
She’s flattered, of course. Sometimes it may feel strange knowing someone knows so much about her, but she also finds some sort of sweetness in it; you’ve devoted a lot of time to getting to know her when she knew nothing about you. She frequently tries to strike up conversation about you, telling you she’d like to get to know her biggest fan. It always surprises her when you assure her that you aren’t very interesting, and change the subject.
She tries to ask other survivors if they know anything about you, because she notices you being friendly with a lot of them. She’s similarly surprised to find out nobody else knows a thing about you, either. She figures you must be hiding something about your past that you aren’t proud of, and she decides to get to the bottom of it to help you. But she knows that’ll take a while…
Jonah Vasquez:
Jonah didn’t imagine he’d ever be known for the kind of work he did. In fact, the first few times you eagerly approached him, he was a little suspicious of how exactly you knew him. He eventually figured he must’ve been publicly recognized somehow after his apparent death, because you didn’t seem like the type to know government secrets. So he began to relax a little and was more open with you, and was even happy to share things you weren’t privy to.
By nature — or instinct, even — he wants to find out more about you. He’s subtle about it at first, sneaking in a what about you, every so often when you ask him a question. You usually ignore it. He resigns to the fact he needs to be more upfront asking you about yourself, directly asking you what you used to do for a living, what your hobbies were, your family. You’re a better secret-keeper than even he was, in his time.
On his own time, outside of trials, he tries investigating you. Inspecting items you happened to leave behind, tailing you and seeing how you behave with other survivors. Nothing has given him any leads, yet, but he knows himself and he knows he’ll get to the bottom of you somehow.
Vittorio Toscano:
Vittorio was utterly confused when you approached him, saying you knew him and couldn’t believe you’re meeting him. When you told him you’d read about his discoveries in old tomes, he couldn’t believe he’d been written about. Someone took the time to chronicle what he’d done for the world…and someone else in a completely different time to his own read about him. He’s blown away. He’s touched knowing his discoveries had reached someone else.
He tends to be more curious about what modern people know about the arcane, and he usually asks you about that. He does attempt to ask you about yourself, too, deeply curious about what time has changed for everyone else. You won’t talk about yourself, but you seem happy to tell him everything else. He wonders why you almost refuse to speak about your past…
Himself, he’s quite open about what he did and what happened in his time. He knows other survivors aren’t quite as talkative, or they hide or shade certain things about themselves. He knows it isn’t as easy to talk about yourself…but he hopes one day you’ll open up to him. Until then, he’ll keep trying.
Danny Johnson / The Ghostface:
Danny is instantly flattered when you come up to him discussing him and his past crimes. He knew there were people that followed his activities closely, but to be honest, he never thought he’d meet one of them after he’d been taken into the fog. He’s actually surprised by how much you knew about him; he was quite certain nothing substantial ever made it to the news…but oh well, he has a fan now. He notices you’re strangely chummy with some of the other killers, too, but what’s important is you always come back to him.
When he starts getting more attached to you, he tries to find out things about you, too. Important questions and unimportant questions alike get brushed off by you, but he figures you must just be being safe by not sharing anything about yourself. Realistically, those self-preservation skills should’ve kicked in long before you decided to talk to him…
You know what happens next. He starts following you around and watching you, notepad at the ready, seeing what he can find out by spying on you with others and when you’re by yourself. He’s patient. Even if doing this doesn’t amount to anything right now, he knows it will at some point.

Could I get Jane, Ash, Huntress, and Freddy with a shy touch starved survivor reader?
Jane Romero:
Jane is used to being one of the strongest personalities in the room (the blessing of being a reporter) so it takes her a little while to notice that you’re a naturally shy person. She can see that you don’t speak up often and when you do it’s never very forceful. She goes out of her way to give you room to speak, bringing up your points if people aren’t listening. She has no problem lending you her voice if you want or need it.
She’s not a huge fan of public displays of affection so it’s not something that she notices until the two of you are in private. When she starts to rub your shoulders and you lean heavily into her, it gives Jane a hint. She’s not super familiar with being touch starved but knows enough to try and help you.
Jane likes to hold you close as the two of you talk. She’ll rub your stomach or back, listening to you talk about whatever happened that day or your most recent interest. She likes to get your opinions on trails and strategies on how to move forward. You don’t ever initiate the cuddle sessions but she can always tell when you want to, standing closer to her or gently tugging on her sleeve.
Ash J. Williams:
He thinks that you’re the cutest things out there! Ash knows that he’s loud and in your face. He appreciates that when you speak, its with purpose and only when you need to. At first he thought that you might be boring, mostly because you don’t talk a lot around the campfire but he was 100% wrong. Just because you don’t talk a lot doesn’t mean that you aren’t fire in a trail.
It takes Ash a couple times to realize that you’re touch starved, mostly because he’s so casual with touch. He’ll pat your back or shoulder after a trail well done, sometimes squeezing your hand as your both hide from the killer. The first time he hugs your shoulders though, he hears your soft gasp and how you lean into him heavily. This just makes him grin and pull you closer; any excuse to touch you more and he’s down.
He will tease you for sure when he knows that you want attention, pretending not to notice when you tug on his arm or lean close to him. Ash likes it when you finally get the nerve to initiate, fingers shaking lightly as you pull him down into a hug. He quickly caves after that, tugging you close and kissing the top of your head. The longer he can keep you near him the better.
The Huntress:
She thinks at first that you’re shy because she’s very intimidating. Anna knows that she strikes fear into the hearts of everyone and usually she likes it that way. She’s worried about you because she wants you to comfortable with her. Once she realizes that it’s not about her and its your personality that makes her feel better. She still goes out of her way to be less intimidating with you, which is sweet of her.
She’s just as touch starved as you are, if not more so. Any time your skin brushes or you hold her hand, her face goes warm and she wants to hold you closer. Anna can be shy about touching you, wanting to make sure that you’re comfortable with her before she starts to move into your space.
Anna likes to hold your hand the most, running her fingers over your knuckles and palm. She’ll massage your hands until they feel boneless, loving to feel your skin move with her own. If you return the favor she leans into you heavily, sometimes even falling asleep if you let her. This is her favorite way to nap, curled around the fire.
Freddy Kruger:
He is a fan of the shy kid act, he wont lie. If he can get you sputtering and refusing eye contact? That’s the best shit in his opinion. Freddy is a merciless tease and the more embarrassed you get the better. It’s a big ego boost to him; he’s not used to being desired by anyone, let alone someone this cute.
Freddy makes you work for affection, mostly because he doesn’t always know how to react to it. He’ll tease you and get you to ‘do’ things for him. He’ll ask you to get things for him or help him come up with ideas, rewarding you with head pats and kisses (if you’ve been really good).
He likes it best when you’re spread out over his lap and he’s able to pet your hair. You look a bit like an overgrown housecat but Freddy loves you curled up on his lap and tugged close. He’s likely to ‘push’ you off if he has to do something or gets distracted but if there’s nothing to do, he’s happy to relax with you for a while. Just never expect him to leave you alone now; you’ve said you wanted him and there’s no going back.

I can see Jane being more of a ‘soft’ top, in that while she generally takes control of the situation, she’s never demanding nor degrading to her partner. Extremely susceptible to sweet talk, especially cute pet names such as Angel, Sweetheart, Darling, etc..
Jane has a thing for body worship, on both receiving and giving ends. She leans into a more teasing side when she’s going down on you; things such as love bites right next to the spot you actually want them, taking her time tracing patterns along your skin, purposefully missing your sensitive spots. Yet, if you whine enough about it, she’ll give in fairly easy.
Has a HUGE thing for mutual masturbation, especially when you’re not allowed to touch her while she’s touching herself. If she’s feeling especially ‘merciless’, she’ll blindfold you so you can’t see her, but can only hear her.

Survivor Fluff HCs
Kate Denson
Kate’s favourite thing to do with you is sing to you. She adores seeing the flustered look on your face if she is serenading you with a song, and your cute red cheeks. If she is singing you to sleep, she will rest your head on her lap and run her hands through your hair as she sings a sweet lullaby. Other times, she’ll get out her guitar just for a nice sing song between you and sometimes (a lot of the time) the other survivors.
During trials, or in situations where you are vulnerable, Kate’s protective side comes out. She can’t stand to see you helpless or suffering, and wants to help you immediately and in the best way that she possibly can. She will take a hit for you in a heartbeat, even if it means she’s going to be the one that dies in place of you. Even if you try and tell her afterwards that you’d rather sacrifice yourself for her, she won’t have it. The real reason being because the most heartbreaking thing to her is to see you screaming out in pain and agony as you get murdered. It hurts her.
Kate enjoys it when you run your hands through her hair, especially if she has her head in your lap and she gets to look up at you whilst you do it. It’s incredibly reassuring for her, that you’ll let her sit there in your arms and touch her so affectionately, and in front of others. I mean, we all know she is a big softie at heart, even if does put on her strong front most of the time. The main part is, that you’re always touching each other, to have that skin to skin contact. It’s comforting and keeps you both sane in this hell.
Jane Romero
Jane loves talking in Spanish to you. Her soft voice speaking this beautiful language is just amazing. She wants to teach you some words and phrases so that you can talk to each other in her language for fun and to respect the culture. It’s also great when the other survivors have no clue what you’re talking about or saying to each other - it’s grants you that secrecy and privacy that you lack in this realm.
One thing Jane is good at, is listening. If you’re feeling down, or some type of way and you need someone to speak to, you can always go to her. If she is unable to help settle your mind from your thoughts, or rationalise them, she resorts to taking your mind off of it. Jane will act out scenes from her favourite TV shows, and put her own personal twist on it just to see you laugh and smile. It’s her mission to make you happy.
Jane needs reassurance from you. Even though she is a strong woman, from so much dismissal and rejection in her past life, she’s quick to believe that you don’t want her and doubt your words. The only way you can really get her to hear what you’re saying is by using actions rather than words. Hug her, kiss her, look after her, show her that you care. Any sort of affection in front of other people also let’s her know you do want to be with her as you don’t feel the need to hide your public displays of affection. It proves to her that you’re proud to be with her and truly love her.

Laurie Strode
Laurie knows better than anyone what it’s like to survive impossible circumstances. But sometimes in the Entity’s realm you don’t survive. Sometimes you’re ripped apart by all kinds of monsters, and you die. But not entirely.
She won’t talk about it afterwards, won’t say a word about the atrocities the two of you encountered. But she’ll sit with you shoulder to shoulder in the warm glow of the campfire, and she’ll hold your hand in hers until you both stop shaking.
Despite being one of the youngest survivors, Laurie is one of the most hardened and determined. Everyone sees her as being strong, someone that’s able to persevere through anything. You know, however, that sometimes she needs you to comfort her just as much as you need her.
Jane Romero
Jane is bold and determined. She takes challenges head on, and doesn’t let herself get discouraged when the going gets tough. However, nothing in her life could have prepared her for something like the Entity and its trials.
The moment the two of you find yourselves back at the campfire, she’s going to find you and envelope you in a hug. She’ll hold you for a long time, and if you need to cry, she’s more than prepared to ride it out with you.
She doesn’t like to show her vulnerable side, but sometimes as the two of you embrace each other, you’ll catch her sniffling into your hair as she chokes back tears.
Kate Denson
Kate wears her heart on her sleeve. There’s no hiding the fact that despite all the hope she carries, a trial that ends in carnage and despair hits her harder than the others.
She’ll need comfort from you just as much as you need it from her. Watching you die is the worst thing in the universe, and having to see it happen in increasingly gruesome ways breaks her unguarded heart.
Unlike some of the others, Kate needs to talk through what happened and what she’s feeling. She wants to tell you how much she loves you and how much it hurts to lose you, even if she knows that she’ll see you again. Say you love her back, and her fear and heartache will be lessened if even just a little.

Jane thought you were beautiful from the start, when everyone was having a late night talk about themselves and you started talking about your insecurities she reassured you. She believed she wasn’t the most beautiful woman herself but she will be damned if she goes on letting you think you aren’t and does whatever she can to show you you’re beautiful. She gave you all the attention you needed and you started hanging around her and she loved your presence, she actually enjoys how clingy you are, not only does it warm her heart but it makes her feel good to have someone like you in the entity’s realm. Jane loves your creativity and loves watching your hands move as your write or draw, she finds it so relaxing. She’ll always stay by your side if you stay by hers.
Killer - The Ghost Face AKA Danny “Jed Olsen” Johnson
Danny doesn’t relate to your struggles so I’m sorry but he think you are a SNACC-
The man throws compliments at you damn near 24/7, he’s proud of you to be his. Loves your eyes, loves your hair, loves your body. You a bit thicker? More to touch, he’s down. He fucking is obsessed with your clinginess, there is NOTHING he loves more than you hanging onto him and he can be like “yeah, this is mine.” He loves showing you off. He’ll reassure you and give you all the love, you probably wouldn’t of thought but he is big on affection, he will also make you take pictures with him and then go on about how good you look. There is also a lot of sexual harassment.
He is a bit like Ash in one scenario, he uses shit pickup lines to make you laugh. Danny has never been much of a creative other than being a “photographer” so hearing about what your write is cool to him and seeing what you draw stuns him. “How do you draw? I don’t get it?” Draw him something and he’ll keep it and if someone dare touches it he will shank a bitch.

Chapter 10 - Check Up
Mentions of: Injury, Blood, Wounds
“(Y/n)!” Frank called out, jolting up in a cold sweat. He wasn’t outside anymore, he was in bed with Julie. Was it all a dream? No, it couldn’t be. It felt too real.
Julie’s eyes fluttered, Frank’s scream waking her. She rolled over, looking up at him, as he panted softly. “Frank? What’s wrong? What’s going on?”
“Nothing- it’s nothing, just- what happened last night?”
“I have no idea. When I got back, I found you passed out on the roof. Is there something I need to know about?” She questioned, and Frank knew exactly what that tone meant. But he didn’t care. He was too busy stressing over you to deal with this.
And what she just said confirmed that what happened last night wasn’t a dream. He needed to find you. He needed to make sure you were okay. He didn’t know why he felt this way, he just did.
Getting to his feet and throwing on his jacket and shoes, Frank rushed out the door. “I gotta go.”
He sprinted outside, searching all over the realm, circling it at least three times. Nothing. Frank ran a hand through his hair, groaning in frustration.
Fuck, where were you? All the times he didn’t want you around, all the times he told you to leave, those were lies. He didn’t want you to leave. He needed you. But where could you be now?
The campfire.
He realized, turning on his heel and running into the woods.

Once again, the entity forced you to go through numerous trials. Only this time, it was worse. The higher being had an extra punishment for you, keeping you wounded throughout all of the trials.
There was a deep gash on your side, the blood soaking through your shirt. You managed to hide it pretty well, pretending to be injured by the killer when other survivors did see it.
But now, as you finished up your last trial for the time being, you knew you’d have to work harder to hide it. Which was really difficult, since it hurt. A lot.
You sat down next to Quentin, flashing him a small smile, keeping an arm down on your side to hide your injury. He looked back at you, before looking away at the fire. Why was he upset?
“Quentin, what’s wrong?” You asked, putting a hand on his forearm.
He pulled his arm away, glowering at you. You’d never seen him this angry with you before. “You’ve been different, (y/n).”
“What do you mean?” You questioned, swallowing the lump in your throat. Of course, he would notice. You two used to be very close, after all. And the changes had become obvious.
“You’re barely even at the campfire anymore. When you are, you leave and it’s like you disappear into thin air- and- have you been going into the woods?”
“What? No. I told you, I only went in that one
time, and I didn’t see anything.” You responded.
“Quit lying to me! I know you haven’t been here, and I know you’re not in that many trials, so why are you going out there? Is there someone? A killer?” He snapped, and damn, you wish he didn’t know you this well.
“Quint, lower your voice.” You murmured, feeling the other survivors’ eyes on you.
“No! I need to know what the hell’s going on with you! It’s like I don’t even know you anymore!” You could see the hurt, frustration, and betrayal in his eyes. “So who is it, huh? Who?”
“She did seem to like that Legion guy.” You heard Jane mutter.
Feeling your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, you looked over at her, only then realizing that all the survivors were staring at you both. “Jane!”
And that was the moment you lost your temper. You got to your feet, gritting your teeth slightly in pain as you stood up. “Okay, I’m just going to make one thing clear. I know we’re all stuck together in this fucked up hellscape, and the boundaries aren’t clear here. But let me make one thing clear. We all have our own business and shit to deal with, so stay out of mine. I don’t care if we’re friends, I don’t care if you hate me. Just pay attention to your own shit and fuck off.”
With that, you stormed off into the woods, blocking out what all the others were saying. You had heard enough. You were done.

“(Y/n)! (Y/n)!” Frank called out, hearing the voices and the sound of the campfire. But he couldn’t see you through the trees.
Grunting in frustration, he stepped closer, trying to reach past some of the bushes so he could see. He reached too far and ended up burning his fingers. He swore to himself, sucking his burnt fingers, and waving them around.
After a few moments, he heard some rustling not too far away, watching you stumble out from the brush and holding your side. He let out a relieved sigh, happy to see that you were still alive. But why were you leaning over like that?
“(Y/n), you scared the shit out of me! I thought you were- Don’t do that to me again, okay?” He pushed you against him, pulling you into a hug.
You hugged him back, caught off guard. No one had ever been this physically affectionate with you, (besides Susie) especially not a man. It overwhelmed you, and you could feel tears pricking your eyes. You pushed them away, calming yourself.
Why? Why was he acting like this? Why did he care? Was this all some sick joke? Was he so sadistic that he just enjoyed playing with your emotions?
“Since when do you care?” You asked with a scoff.
“Since seeing you die hasn’t gotten so fun anymore.” He admitted quietly, with a small shrug.
“Oh really?” You grinned, but before you could continue to tease him, your wound throbbed, making you yelp out in pain.
“What? What is it?” He looked down, searching for where the pain was.
You pointed to your side with a groan. “From when the entity took me. It still hasn’t healed.”
“Shit, (y/n)! You’re bleeding through your shirt! We gotta do something!” He exclaimed.
“Like what? Piss the entity off even more?” You mumbled, feeling your legs begin to weaken, falling into Frank’s arms.
“No, let me just think. Shit, okay, let’s just get you back to the lodge.” He picked you up, carrying you and running off.

Survivors as Your Roommate
Hello friends!! Lots of love on the healing HCs (thank you!!!!!) so here are some roommate ones! Probably will do a second part of this as well for more variety, and maybe some killer HCs soon? 👀Anything goes! Feel free to send in a request if there's something specific you want to see :)
Felix: He is one of the most considerate roommates you could ever have, and it’s a pleasure to live with him. He keeps the place tidy and always asks first before cleaning in your room—he knows how annoying it is for someone to mess up his order! He’s polite, always greets you, and never comes up short or late on bills. He might offer to fill your side too if it comes to that, but it’s not something he wants to make a habit.
A potential downside to living with Felix is that he is a morning person through-and-through, so he’ll be making a ruckus at sunrise. Not that he means to disturb you at all, but he doesn’t realize how much noise a shower makes through the wall, or just how loudly the plates bang together in the kitchen.
“Sorry, I wanted the plate on the bottom...”
Nea: Pretty much the opposite of Jake in every way. She plays her music loudly and likes to bring her friends over, but she’ll ask first to see if you’re okay with it. If not, then she’ll go hang out with them and either stay with them overnight or come home at 3am and crash until noon. She’s very unpredictable, which makes it easy to worry about her if she doesn’t tell you where she’s going.
"I'm sorry! Meg and I went out of state again, you know how she is."
Not to say that living with Nea is only stressful, because when she is home, she likes to paint and watch movies with you. Once she feels comfortable, she might invite you along one night and let you see the glory that is Mashtyx tagging under bridges or on old brick walls, and you’ll understand her that much more.
Jake: You probably wouldn’t notice whether he’s home or not most of the time. If he’s not in his room, he’s so quiet that you’d only realize he’s there when he gets up to go to the bathroom or to get something to eat. He’s a little messier than Felix is, so he might forget to close the cabinet, or he’ll leave a wrapper somewhere without remembering to throw it out.
"Oh, oops."
But, he’s also very respectful of your space and privacy and would leave you alone if you needed him to. He does like spending time with you, though, even if that just means being in the same room. If you’re busy, he’ll sit and read and stay out of your way. It’s nice to know he’s there.
Jane: First off, her room would be a nightmare to the untrained eye, so luckily you're used to posters on every wall and the big, bright vanity mirror she's in front of for hours every day. She's always talking about TV and prancing around in costume pieces that she's kept from past jobs, and often you'll hear her repeat lines in her room for the next part she's in.
"I want to be with you! Question five... do you want to be with me?"
Speaking of lines, she'll definitely ask you to run them with her at some point. Even when you're sick of it, she'll gift you small tokens of her appreciation and take you on fun, fancy excursions so she can live out her dream of fame even if she isn't there quite yet. But, when she is, you'll be the first to know!

HeadCanons For Kate Denson and Jane Romero with an overly-altruistic S/O
Kate Denson
Many would say that Kate is one of the more subtle of the lady survivors. But when compared to the likes of Nea and Meg, anyone can be made to look extremely dainty and girly. Kate, however, sits precariously between refined and bat-shit crazy. She starts off quick and kept-to-herself but when fire sparks under her feet she can be pushed to do the most outlandish and unexpected. So imagine what it must have been like in that first trial with you and her.
Kate is getting chased by a rather pissed off Huntress when suddenly out pops a fiery head, screaming and rushing over with the grace of a giraffe on stilts. You holler at Kate, waving your hand over your head not only to greet the beautiful girl but also to distract the killer. Huntress goes to swing and you manage to push Kate just enough to narrowly miss the attack. She looks at you with wide, impossible eyes.
“Why did you do that?” Kate gasped, passing her attention between you and the killer who was quickly gaining distance again. You grin a most marvelous smile, “I dunno. Just wanted to help.” Kate scoffs. “You’d help me more if you did gens.” Then the chased started anew but with the addition of a rather annoying tag-along. She found you most bothersome but when ultimately she and everyone else escaped unscathed, Kate turned to with a bright expression. You smiled at her again, reaching out and grabbed her hand in yours and lifting in triumphantly in the air. You were too busy cheering to notice the gentle blush that accompanied her fond face.
That is how things would go from then onward. God help the killer that had to deal with your combined tom-foolery, when the two of you were together no one could be caught - it was simply impossible. If you were the first one to be found and chased, Kate would be by your side in a heartbeat. Oh, you’d die for her? Well not unless she dies first. However, like nuclear atoms, the two of you bounce off one another until you created a toxic reaction. Unstoppable and unbeatable.
In a fit of rage, you once slammed a toolbox into the back of the Trapper’s knee causing him to buckle slightly and drop your Kate. She fell gracefully and disappeared into the brush with a grateful ‘Thank you’ look. Later in that same trial when the Trapper had finally cornered you, Kate appeared and viciously grabbed at the various spikes sticking painfully from his back. Thrown off-balanced he chucked you in her arms. Kate looked down at you and raised a cocky eyebrow, “Just wanted to help.”
Kate waited for you at an open exit gate, arms open and calling as you ran with the killer still hot on your heels after a 5 gen chase. She explodes in delight as you smash into her wrapping your own arms around her body and hugging her close. She starts peppering kisses along your neck, with each one pulling away momentarily only to smile. By the time she reaches your face, you have already pulled her into your lips, kissing deeper and deeper and tipping her over slightly. She melts into you, giving you everything she has to offer. Finally, you break apart from your blissful embrace only to see the killer roll their eyes in either annoyance or disgust and hurridly shoo you out.
Jane Romero
Jane is the most regal lady. Though sensitive to others with a heart big and deep enough to swallow the ocean whole, she is able to always get the job done regardless of the strain it would put on her. She is a workhorse, bearing the yolk of her suffering with determination and diligence. She prefers to work alone however, it is easier to only blame yourself when things go wrong and not drag others down with you. But that all changed when you showed up. From the first moment you saw her at the campfire, back straight with one leg crossed over the other, you knew that she was the one. A most gorgeous creature, mother nature incarnate. She looked so beautiful bathed in the golden light of the fire that for a moment you forgot exactly the type of place you were in - oh right, this was purgatory. And you were all going to die.
You vowed then that as long as you could run, as only as you could breathe you would try your absolute damnedest to protect Jane, no matter the cost. And that’s exactly what you did. It started off subtle, always showing up exactly when Jane needed healing or assistance, and slowly progressed to you actively taking part in her chases. She taught you how to stun killers by jumping out of lockers and quickly you put your new skills to good practice, stopping killers who were gaining too much distance on her. Jane appreciated your help but never expected that there were deeper implications to your doting help. It was only after you sacrificed yourself for her did Jane finally notice everything.
She approached you at the campfire, eyes watery and fists balled. “Why did you do that!?” She demanded, standing over you looking like on the verge of a breakdown. Fearing the worse you rise to your feet and with palms open, you reach fr her. “Jane, dear, what is wrong?” Before you could make contact however Jane pulled away, “Why did you sacrifice yourself for me back there?” You frowned, confused about what she was referring to. At your expression, she scoffed, turned her head away, and wiping a hand over her face to catch her falling tears. She inhaled deeply, body shaking from the physical and mental exhaustion she had been enduring for so long. Your heart arched to ease that long-worn suffering. “You died...” Jane tried again, not daring to face you for fear of losing all control again, “You died back there. For me.” There was a stretch of silence between you two, one that allowed you a moment to piece together her tragic story. You had sacrificed yourself for her, taking her place at death’s door and giving a second chance at life. When you died you must have forgotten it all but when you caught wind of the muffled sobs Jane tried desperately to choke back. She moved you by doing almost nothing at all, your fingers burning for only an inch to move forward.
“You are so stupid.” Jane finally composed herself enough to speak without wavering. Her head turned to look at you with red, weepy eyes and a trembling hand clutched to her chest. “Why would you die for me? I had everything under control.”
“Because I love you.” You said without hesitation, taking a bold step forward, your heart calling out for her to please not block you out. Surprisingly, Jane did not retract from your approach and instead stared at you with the most heartbroken and sad face. Very quietly as if not even said, Jane whispered, “That’s what you said before.”
Jane would accept your love with the only condition being that you would never go out of your way to be stupid for her sake again. And though you did dial it back by some degrees, there were still some hairy moments like taking a hit for her when a killer tunneled or going in for the risky unhooks. She, of course, never appreciated your uncalculated actions and often scolded you with a lecture and wigging finger like a mother would a child. But afterward, when huddled by the warm campfire, Jane would wrap you in her sweet-smelling arms. She breathes out and the world would be good and she would rest her head on yours. No longer was this her burden to bear alone and how relieved she was for you.
