i alr talked about some hcs so ill chat a bit about some aus i have heehee!

- idol jay au !

i feel like this one is prolly the most well known (only because its the only one ive ever drawn for….) but basically jay is an idol/musician and cole is his nr1 fan! it was very inspired by prime empire and also those like harry styles x reader wattpad fics from back in the day… yeah…

all ive got for the story so far is that cole went to a fansign event and while getting his magazine signed jay also sneaks his personal phone number on one of the pages (something along tbe lines of xxx-xxx-xxx text me o_<) and… yeah things move on from there 🙏🙏

- mad scientist jay and his creature cole

OKAYY this might be one of my weirder ones but i think about it a lot 😭😭

anyways jay is a disabled basement dweller college dropout scientist guy and one day he kind of feels some paranormal presence in his lab and conducts a bunch of tests and comes to tbe conclusion there is a ghost floating around in his lab. so like the normal person he is he tries to communicate with it but only gets a bunch of weird cryptid messages that dont make sense… so he comes to bright idea of “hey! i should make this ghost a vessel they can possess!” so he makes a body frankenstein style and low and behold his plan worked!

cole, a ghost from the 80s who possessed the body is now chilling in jays lab with him, but like most people who have been dead for over 40 years he is very curious about the outside world and what has changed.

but jay for some reason is very adamant about him not going outside at all, which causes some tension between the two..

(the reason is jay has abandoned issues) (also cole is kind of a freak of nature) (affectionately)

I LIKE THIS AU A LOT cus its so stupid honestly and i love me some ghost cole also like im still mad about how ninjago decided to completely discard jays love for inventing… let the man make his little trinkets…

basically what it sounds like… they are wizards.. at a wizard school… and do magic…

yes this was partly inspired by h*rry p*tter BUT ONLY THE VIBES (i barely remember the movies)

BUT UM this is like a whole universe thing and theres so so much lore and world building so… if u want a separate post about it… lmk

- roommates au!

this is my most recent one (and the one i think about the most) but um yeah pretty self explanatory it was based off this jdrama/manga called good morning call so uhhh ya!

basically cole and jay were enemies throughout highschool and basically spend all their energy hating each other but they to their separate ways during college but reunite (unwillingly) as roommates!

they navigate living with each other and learn to let go of their hate (which stemmed from a mixture of misunderstandings and insecurities) and then eventually fall in love!!

i think this is the au i have the most work done on (i have a draft for every major scene that happens in the story heehee) and perhaps! one day i will actually make it a real thing !

so um yeah! i have a bunch more but most of them are very unfinished or just… vague ideas or vibes i go by… i also have some aus that arent bruise so um if anyone wants to hear about those… smiles

scary movies or happy endings? i love horrorrrr i love being scared and getting scared but i like happy endings too just not as much.... my top 2 movies have really bittersweet/ambiguous endings and i feel like the type of ending doesnt matter as much as a narratively satisfying one. horror is also a really cool and diverse genre and i like how committed a lot of horror movies are to getting you to feel some type of thing whatever that may be

any special talents? nooot really i can play the violin and crochet but nothing special. but one thing about me is i will remember. i love collecting people trivia

where were you born? a town in south scotland. the town my parents came from didnt have a lot of births per year and the hospital was not very big and didnt do c-sections (how i was born :3)

one day i’ll forget about it

one of my favorite fics i’ve written has always been this song one shot, idk why i just loved it so much? maybe bc i love the song so much (literally my #1 song last year on apple music AND spotify) and i really just love the way i wrote it and felt kind of proud for the metaphors in it (had to put my bio degree to use lol). but i just sometimes go back and read it and i love it so much, so i guess i would say i wish it got more credit? but i still love it regardless!!!

i also kind of love how even though it’s so short i was able to capture so much emotion and depict the heartbreak and pain of a breakup? also too when one of my moots read they told me that it made them so sad LOL and they didn’t think they could even listen to the song bc of it!! idk i love angst and i think as much as i love romcoms and cheesy stuff i love writing sad shit too lol

BUT i do wanna write a second part to it bc of a friend who really loved it as a gift to her, and that one will be eren’s pov! and it’ll be based off not strong enough by boygenius!!

i’m putting these two in one bc i think i’d have to say both apply to my most recent cabin fic!!

honestly i was so proud of this fic bc i normally stray away from canonverse bc i feel like im not the most well versed with canon material since i got into aot wayyyy later than most people! but i really love my eren depiction a lot idk i love eren so so so much he’s one of my favorite characters so i love eren introspection i could write about him all the time! i wanna do a character study on him one day but anyways!! i think my prose and writing was just rlly nice and also it was my first time writing present tense!!! so i was kinda proud LOL

and i think people definitely did catch on to the theme of the seasons but i could literally go on a whole tangent on the symbolism within the fic and why i wrote it the way i did, just bc there was truly a lot more to it!! like there was symbolism within each section and why i wrote each scene in each “season” and kind of why i separated it into seasons! i love seasonal symbolism and i really enjoy domesticity too so i wanted to hone in on that with that fic, and i think i did a pretty good job! and with mikasa’s pov ive been writing i think im doing a good job! (although it was a little hard to continue the same theme and still make it unique to her but also relevant haha)

Obligatory I love Arei. recently revamped an OC I made 5 years ago and basing a lot of her personality and stuff off of Arei. Just felt like sharing. I love Arei so much I will make her my oc methinks.

THE MOTIVES MADE ME SO FERAL I PAUSED THE VIDEOS SO MANY TIMES AND WAS LIKE AAIOGIGOGOUUGHHHH SO MANY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FUCKED UP BLORBOS I CANT WAIT TO LEARN EVERYPONY'S SECRETS OM NOM NOM<33 Speaking of which JESUS CHRIST I really feel like the secret motives some ppl held onto, like, REALLY shouldn't have been kept to themselves omg. I'm sure there's been some behind the scenes stuff of characters gaining distaste/distrust/avoiding certain ppl after receiving certain motives;; I'm not entirely sure WHO specifically, but these are like CRAZY things to not warn the rest of the class about. Was David's the one that Arei got? Killed a man with no remorse? Huh? Shoves you pushes you shoves you into locker and swallows the key

The entire time during episode 9 I was trying and failing to open a jar of ice cream so I was a Little out of it, but from what I gather I'm really dumb and not good at mysteries so i have no clue who the hell did it. At one point I asked "alright who killed a man?" but my bestie heard "who killed min?" so I just kept saying that for the rest of the episode and crying of laughter. Guys, be honest, who killed Min- I'm not mad I just wanna know, guys-

Nico continues to piss me off a little. Teruko goes without saying she pisses me off to no end. When everyone started dragging her handwriting I was whooping and cheering and hollering it was so funny GET HER.

I liked how the two main people investigating the corpse were Arturo and Veronika. They really do get a lot of screentime together and it's starting to scare me a little. Is this like subtle ship fanservice or am I about to meet horrors beyond my comprehension as the story and cases develop. I hope one of them kills the other. They're so in love.

I also liked at one point Veronika dragging Ace's ass. They're ALSO in love btw. Yeah I'll ship my top 3 faves together, what else would you expect from me, man

apricot doodles! (@chasani) despite having litterally just been the first thing that came to mind i am deciding on apricot as his final name~ its cute and i feel it fits his personality fsr~

anyway!! i like to do lots of doodle sheets with my characters so that i can play around with their body language and expressions as well as learn to draw them more efficiently: it's really fun and its great practice! if you struggle with like, drawing a character without a lot of sketching before hand, i'd say this kind of just fill a page with doodles of them excercise can be very helpful :DD

this has been sitting in my wips for a while, ive never done a lineless piece as ambitious as this and im not sure how to go about it, if anyone knows any artists that do cartoony lineless scenes like this please lmk!!! esspecially any speedpaints/timelapses

PACING. oh my god i feel like my pacing is always janky. also i think i have the tendency to like, write in things that dont necessarily need to be there, scenes that dont really do a lot of legwork plotwise.

if i speak the language im down, but if i dont i think i would definitely need to consult with someone whos fluent.

(about that post you made yesterday abt how you just don’t like male centric media) i think the problem for me is that the genres or whatever you wanna call them that i like the most don’t have good female representation, or even if they do hardly any are lesbian, and if it came between reading abt an osa couple or reading abt a gay male couple i would choose the latter. with books it’s pretty easy to just get one that has good representation for gay male couples and then just imagine them as butch women in my head (it always throws me off when i see fanart or something and it’s like woah! that’s a man) if all the male centric media i consumed genderswapped all the characters i would like it 1000x better, but i deal (& i know it’s like ‘write the book you want to read!’ but i suck at writing). i don’t watch a lot of tv, but as far as shows go there are actually a few good ones with female main characters, like the half of it (you should watch that if you haven’t) you mentioned heartstopper.. everyone was so obsessed with heartstopper but some parts were kinda bad cringy to watch, since i just literally can’t take males seriously lmao.. same with young royals and things like that. like every single tv show with/about a lesbian romance got canceled and the movie prom sucked. i don’t know, male centric media doesn’t always bore me but i wish there was just better female centric, lesbian centric, etc.

i can kinda get u bc i love dystopian novels n i read those without much trouble bc idk it’s easier to pretend they’re not men anyways but like if it’s shows or movies i generally avoid ones that r very male-heavy. if it’s about gay men usually i can handle it a bit better bc i can relate somewhat but like het men … no thanks. or ones that r male-centric in a different way like the TV show You.. for one it’s all him obsessing over other women so women are a p big part of the show but it shows men from a diff perspective so i like it. but dexter for example… tried to watch it like 5 different times, never got past like episode 6 or sth. there’s def some exceptions for me but generally i get instantly bored if a show or movie is mainly about men or from a male perspective. when it’s gay men it’s sth i can watch sometimes tho, but those are also rare. also ur right lesbian representation sucks.. anon if u like tho maybe u should check out the 100. the het scenes r ignorable and it’s not great lesbian rep either but it’s got a lot of female MCs & the main character is like. obsessed with a certain lesbian hehe.

also thank u for the rec!!! i did watch half of it. i loved the lesbian rep and the fact that she had this dumbass straight male friend who respected her 😭 also iirc the ending was more realistic but still somewhat happy ?? it was nice. i liked blue is the warmest colour a lot bc the story is sad as hell and the actresses are AMAZING but the sex scenes are way too much (i first watched it with my mom when i was like 15… it was very awkward. she asked me questions that i did not want to be asked) & also the actresses said the director (male) was.. not good to say the least. i also wanna watch the colour purple, i finished the book recently and was weeping.. i loved hearing from the perspective of a traumatised lesbian who clearly didn’t understand her own feelings bc i could somewhat relate and getting to see her grow 😭😭.. it’s just so well written. orphan black, wentworth, sugar rush… just some faves w memorable lesbian rep

there’s soooo many shows ive watched just for lesbian rep and most are pretty terrible. do not watch riverdale, or tales of the city, feel good (the plot twist at season 1 is that she’s not actually a lesbian which. idk why they had to make that a plot twist lmfao… i would’ve been fine knowing she’s a masc bi woman from episode 1), or gypsy.

if i can choose another one..... i already chose a whole drawing but i will say this year ive been drawing a lot of stuff i cant/wont post on here with less detail/more abstraction that brings out the sections that Do have a little more focus on it and while ive mostly been using this technique to really pathetic romance stuff i do like it for sadder pieces too. cant post most of it cause it involves naked bodies but i also think they crop incredibly well

id never stop drawing details but i think this style that im using for stuff where its moreso me just wanting to get out these vague romantic scenes in my head rather than make a piece of art really works just again too bad i cant post any of this anywhere besides my priv because ive been KILLING IT

what inspires you

hmmmm music. spite motivates and inspires me too. i hate being That Guy and saying others art doesnt inspire me but i think its moreso peoples ideas that inspire me in their art rather than any part of their like visual style if that makes sense. like i dont care if someone draws lines a certain way or colors this way but ill go ballistic bananas over how they often draw mundane scenarios or how they characterize people or how maybe this artist has a quirk where they always draw their favorite characters wearing their outfits. stuff like that from artists inspire me

also not to get sappy but recently ive been really inspired by people with niche/less popular WOLxCanon ships. saw someone shipping their WOL with maxima and ive always liked maxima (love when garleans defect from their shit ass imperialist hell country<-) but never thought about shipping him ever but op looked like they were having so much fun and made such good gposes that it propelled me to wanna get more invested into making hythloazem content because i Want to be dedicated and full of love like them. this probably goes back to this one person's wol x graha fic i read back in ARR that altered me and while wol x graha stuff IS popular op wrote it more like a toxic relationship and through their WOL i found out stuff like people really dedicated to lesser npcs and characters who dont even show up in MSQ and it opened my mind cause all i saw was the same rehashed wol x graha or genwol x graha when theres a treasure trove of people dedicated to a specific little guy who doesnt have much content about them but their wol loves them so much. i think thats my biggest inspo right now

also ferdinand x hubert content ive followed a few artists dedicated to those fuckers and they can draw. also weiss and nier content from gestalt i read a cute fic about them and it made me go I cannot belueve im reading about a guy in love with a book. and then i got up and made like 5 pieces of art because it fueled me with love so i gotta say that inspired me at least 50%

Hi! I dunno if you're still doing the stranger things ships, but I figured I'd give it a shot?

A bit about me, I'm 19 in two weeks, so I've just been saying I'm 19. Aside from that, I'm pretty bubbly which throws a lot of people for a loop considering my outward appearance and a lot of my interests. Im super into 80s goth rock and a pretty wide range of metal bands, which sometimes earns me a bad rap, but I dont mind much. I'm a a mix of trad and romantic goth usually (I'm indecisive so I can never pick between the two styles or the music genres) and I've got a deep love for all things weird. I'm very much into the whole vulture culture/crowcore scene and I think that reflects in my behavior and room decor! I've recently been diagnosed with adhd which clears up a lot honestly, and the majority of my hyperfixations are a bit disturbing whether it be mummification or undetectable poisons, but overall I like to think I'm a pretty nice person. I'm definitely a geek, always been a big comic fan, same with dnd, but none of my friends have ever been interested so it tends to be swept under the rug. Ive also always considered myself a creative type! Ive been drawing ever since i was little and I plan to major in theater this coming fall. I'm usually the type to keep to myself unless I'm surrounded by close friends, but I can be outspoken if it concerns something I really care about. I tried to start an equality campaign at my school during my senior year too, which I was pretty proud of. It got shot down by the principal though, as well as the majority of my classmates considering where we live and the beliefs that come with that, but that never stopped me from putting up posters and nearly getting expelled because of it. That part wasn't as much fun, but I had to do something with my gifted kid burnout, so a rally it was! I pride myself on using my creativity to try and spread a good message, though, and I think, if anything, that's what I'd wanna be known for! :)

i just got back from a weekend trip (yes! today! now!) :D !! it was fun, never been there until recently. super overwhelming. didnt do much bc mainly i was there for some charity event. (if i say anything more about it i think it will be really obvious where i was...)

and honestly today was a really bad day.... i didnt know what ws up with my life anymore... but im really happy now because im back on tumblr and i am already comforted by how much my blog has grown when i was away <3

i missed school on friday so thats great, dont know what will happen tomorrow but i guess ill have to make up assignments and at least one quiz. especially my history group proj which im sorta stressed out about (i dont have the best group and its due this tuesday, we all have to submit it together). so after this, ill definitely get down to making up on my part, i slept a lot in the car so ill be staying up late getting ready for tomorrow.

i cant wait for winter break!!! have to wait for like... 12 more days? gross. i dont wanna be at school. the 23rd is when it starts! (idk when ill go back to school, maybe on jan 2nd-3rd) im going ice skating with some friends and ill be with my cousins on new years (and i was just with them on the trip... ive been hanging out with them A LOT this year).

aotd: umm honestly im not too picky, as long as it isnt super cold or super hot. one scene could be like: warm weather, a little bit of sun, clouds. snow days are great too! i love the idea of being inside (not outside id freeze to death), hot cocoa, cuddling around the fire. rain is nice. fog = yum.

i also like autumn! or like winter. or maybe the transition in between summer and autumn, or autumn and winter. like when you dont know what season it really is anymore...

im trying to not be as sensitive to the cold asm :o

7. Post a snippet from a wip.

Yet he doesn’t move. His face is half obscured in shadow, the light playing through the softness of his curls and across the bright blue of his eyes, the curve of his nose exacerbated by the harshness of it all. The corner of his soft mouth is downturned just the slightest bit. Artturi presses the pads of his fingers together and looks at the broad planes of his shoulders and tries not to think.

He thinks about how well Mikko fills out untailored suits anyways, like he’s made for them, like they’ve been sculpted to fit his body exactly. He thinks about running his hands down the lines of Mikko’s front and all his teeth pulse inside his head at once.

“What were you thinking?” he asks into the open air between them and suddenly there’s no air at all. Artturi’s heart rattles against his ribs like a drum.

“I wasn’t,” he says quietly. The pulsing persists.

12. Do you outline your fics? If yes, how detailed are your outlines? How far do you stray from them?

i do outline them, and i try to make it as detailed as i can in a really messy way? LOL its like a stream of consciousness that i just let loose whether its onthe computer or into my notebook, whats important about the outlines is taht i nail the feeling of each scene more so than what happens in the scenes. when i stray from them, i tend to stray away from the actions or the dialogue but i'll be happy as long as it still keeps the feeling i was intending !

13. Do you listen to music while you write? If yes, what have you been listening to recently?

yesssssssss, ive been cycling between two playlilsts atm because im writing a lot of rane/arsi . i made a specific playlist for them that i put on shuffle when i wanna be lighthearted and sweet adn then i listen to max's playlist taht he made for them when i want to write about them being like, irrevocably in love with each other (i am not kidding ,t he lyrics make me go WILD)

32. Do you take fic requests? Why or why not?

i dont think i would because i write what i want to write and if i take requests, i think i would feel liek it's not up to what the person wanted? no ones ever asked me to write a fic before though . i will , however, take my friends ideas and (with their blessings) write a fic based on the back and forths we have.

Ive been thinking about this scene from Fleabag a lot recently, and I just realized why it moves me so much. I have a really strong love for like 3 people in my life, and I don’t feel as if it is reciprocated. It often makes me feel like this, because I feel like I’m trying to show them as much as possible the love I have for them, and how much they mean to me, but they don’t accept it, so all that love has no place to go but a dark abyss. It feels like I’m saying it to them but they don’t wanna listen so it’s being ricocheted back to me. And it gets so overwhelming because I don’t know what to do with this love, but let it turn into sadness.

Like you would expect this from someone who is no longer here anymore, but when you get this from someone alive and here, it’s a different level of hurt. Because it’s like, you can feel, love, emote and experience things, but my love is something you don’t want.

waah thank you! And well there are plenty of ways to get into it

When it comes to actual astro boy anime series, there's 3 main ones: the 60s anime, the 80s anime and the 2003 one

The 2003 anime is the most recent, popular and accessible one, I recommend getting it from this blog https://astroboy2003sub.tumblr.com/ because essentially every version you'll find in anime websites has broken almost unintelligible subs half way through, the animation in it is honestly gorgeous and holds up better than a lot of modern shows right now

The 80s anime is also good and my personal favourite one because of how cheesy it is, however the 2nd episode of it is notoriously missing in most anime sites, there will be places that have it and others that don't (it is also the last version of astro boy Tezuka was involved with since he passed in the 80s sadly)

The 60s anime (the japanese version at least) is really hard to come by, I torrented it aeons ago from a site that went down and dont think ive found the episodes anywhere else...the anime itself is kind of a total mess but it's still funny to watch lol

A thing I do want to advice though is that please watch the subbed versions and not the dubs, I'm not saying this cause im some sort of sub over dub elitist but because dubbed versions of astro boy are always very heavily censored, have a lot of scenes cut out and the stories are straight up rewritten to the point you actually miss huge chunks of the show, the 2003 anime is infamous for removing/rewriting a lot of the heavier and most emotional scenes

There are also 2 major spin offs manga that are pretty good starting points:

Pluto by Naoki Urasawa, it's a re-interpretation of a chapter called 'The Greatest Robot on Earth' from the original manga, this manga centers around a robot policeman investigating a set of murders and honestly, its actually my favourite manga ever and the reason I got into astro boy to begin with, it is actually pretty mature and serious compared to any other astro boy related work also Atom still appears in it but is not the main character, an anime adaptation was announced a few years ago but we still don't have any info about it so..here's to that

also Atom looks very cute in it

and lastly there's Atom the Beginning, which is what most people have probably seen me talking about since right now its the only astro boy related series that has been active for the past years and it's still an on-going manga, basically its a story that takes place 30 years before the beginning of astro boy that focuses on Dr.Tenma (Atom's creator) and Dr. Ochanomizu (who ends becoming Atom's guardian since Tenma goes insane afterwards lmao) as university students researching AI, tbh I don't know how beginner friendly this series is because it has some pretty direct connections to the original AB manga and one of the best things about it is to catch all those references, but I have some friends that got into astro boy from it so I'll put it here too

also Tenma and Ochanomizu have this thing where they just squeeze each other's noses at random times and its cute and not weird at all!

i should mention the english translation is super behind from the japanese release and there's actually an anime adaptation too but it's like 90% filler and barely follows the story of the manga lol, still a good watch if you wanna see some animated nose honking

I should mention there's also always the original astro boy manga too but I don't actually know if its that beginner friendly since it's kinda messy to get into, since Tezuka rewrote and scrapped chapters so many times, nobody knows the actual chronology of the chapters and has a lot of consistency issues, still some chapters are REALLY good and some chapters are kinda insane lol

Keep in mind every iteration of astro boy changes the story a bit (or sometimes a lot) but its just fun to watch the stories be retold or interepreted in different ways

people often thought the two of you were dating. paparazzi tended to make it look that way through press. despite all the candid photos of you and timothée plastered in magazine spreads and floating around on blogs, he would tell people you weren't together. interviewers would ask, and time again he would put an end to the rumor by saying you weren't dating, you were just friends.

to be fair, you honestly couldn't even be mad at him. it was a good marketing tactic, at least. if all the girls knew he was single they'd still be invested in the persona of a young, attractive starlet that - despite his more than desirable qualities - is still single. genius. meanwhile you were being his best friend and his trophy for award shows.

it was growing on you though. you enjoyed walking red carpet events and going to extravagant parties and meeting big names in the industry. it was really a win-win for both of you.

another one of those win-win situations was tonight. the past three days had been crazy. hair appointments, nail appointments, dress fittings, photoshoots, brunches, and dinners. running each new day on an hour of sleep - maybe two if you were lucky. fueled by energy drinks and the promise of rest after the event. showing up to an awards ceremony on nothing more than a 20 minute nap and a double shot espresso. being timothée's showpiece was exhausting. but it was good for you.

you had just finished your last consultation for dress fittings and were on your way to your styling appointment. the dress would arrive shortly after you so everything was ready to go. things were set for timothée to meet you there in an hour or so, after his own styling.

currently you're getting your makeup done. a swarm of professionals all around you, handing products, giving directions, telling you how gorgeous you look, at least three hands on you at all times. after almost an hour all the disembodied hands move from your face to reveal the *almost* finished product. you still need your hair done, but your face was flawless. your skin was insanely smooth; not a pore in sight, your lids were a bronze shade, and your lips were a perfect nude.

a hair stylist soon steps into view, also admiring your makeup before diving into your hair. it was simple. a slicked back ponytail is all, careful not to draw away from your face and your dress.

the strong aroma of hairspray clouds you as you maneuver to step into your dress. stripped of your previous clothes, you step into your dress and a couple people help you pull it up. the woman attending to the supper in the back steps away for a moment, seeming to answer a question.

"what's his name?" she asks into her ear piece. "uh yes. she's in here with me. send him in."

she returns behind you and does up the zipper to your dress. to your surprise, you see timothée waltz in the room. dressed in a charcoal gray suit with a light lavender button up underneath. "y/n," he exhales, walking towards you. "you look breathtaking, ma chérie."

"you don't look too bad yourself, timmy," you say, stepping down from your pedestal to be almost eye level with him.

"is she done here?" he asks everyone around without taking his eyes off you.

one of the women there swoops in with a pair of shoes and says, "slip in to these and you're ready to go, darling."

you step into your shoes and link arms with timothée. "carriage awaits," he says as the two of you get escorted to the limo.

once inside you let out a deep breath you didn't know you were holding. "you okay?" he asks from beside you.

"yeah, just.. tired."

he chuckles and drops his head. "absolutely exhausted." you two had similarly scheduled days so he knows exactly how you feel. "don't worry, mon amour, i'll have you home in about 8 hours."

"i thought the awards show was only 4-"

"there's always the afterparty.."

you audibly groan and drop your head as timothée places a reassuring hand on your knee.

"we're here," he says with fake enthusiasm as the limo pulls up to the event. the past 45 minutes felt like hours as your head began to pound from the lack of sleep. yet, lucky you, 45 minutes in l.a. traffic was a miracle.

the two of you step out into the scene. flashing lights from camera flickers, the general buzz of the crowd, people you knew trying to get your attention, people timothée knew trying to get his attention. being the kind person he is, he doesn't shy away from fans calling his name. he walks over to give high fives, say hi, sign things, and really interact with the people that are so invested in his career. you look at him with a fond smile on your face as he greets people.

"timothéeeee," you both hear and turn around to match the loud booming voice to a face.

"armieee!!" he yells in response, hurrying over to hug his co-star.

you stand idly by as the two hug and catch up. fiddling with your ponytail and the skirt of your dress. until that same voice catches your attention.

"bring it in hot stuff!"

"hey, armie! how've you been, handsome?" you two had only met a handful of times, but it's like your souls clicked instantly. he had kept in touch since the first time you met and you guys had been pretty close ever since.

"oh i’m doing great. really. just excited for this evening. can't wait to see how many awards lil' tim brings in," armie ends with a light laugh before timothée chimes in.

"oh god no-"

a cheery voice interrupts the conversation.

"helloooo," armie's wife says in a sing-song voice and joins his side. "nice to see you again, y/n. and congrats timmy on your nominations."

you and timothée nod in response and utter small, nervous 'thank you's' before armie excuses the two of them, promising to catch up later.

"well, well, well- this is it, timmy." you say from your seat next to him. the host reads the nominees for best breakthrough of the year, and timothée's name is mixed in with so many other talented actors. he nervously puts his hand over yours. "you are absolutely amazing. everyone knows that. you're gonna get it." he looks at you and you pass him a reassuring smile.

"and the award for best breakthrough goes to… timothée chalamet!"

his head shoots up in shock. cameras pan around him and his baffled expression appears on huge screens behind the stage. he slowly stands from his seat and makes his way to the stage. making a beautiful speech, thanking almost everyone he's ever known. giving gratitude to everyone he's ever worked with, his parents, and his best friends. he comes off the stage and returns to his seat beside you. a year runs down his cheek, and you move to wipe it away, but he grabs your hand away from his cheek only to press his lips to your knuckles. "thank you for always believing in me."

"you're an amazing actor and an even better friend.

the night was nearing an end. people were saying their goodbyes and their 'see-you-soon's and going their separate ways. you and timothée walk out of the event, arms linked, with his hands tightly gripping his award. the smile never leaves his face. "i can't fucking believe that, y/n."

"you did it, timmy! all you and your hard work. lemme pick a nice spot on your shelf for it yeah?"

"i was thinking about sitting it on my dresser right above the drawer full of your shit you keep leaving at my house," he says with a barely visible smirk.

"oh, well if it's such a problem," you begin "i guess I'll just have to come get my 'shit' then?" you finish sarcastically.

"oh! how dare you?" he begins to shout, going on a tirade similar to that of hamlet; overly dramatic and mostly nonsensical. "leave them be! small, small remnants; reminders of thee." he trails off softly, dropping his head to your shoulder and bringing his other hand up to trail his fingertips down the side of your face.

you can't help but chuckle at this. "bravo timothée! amazing performance."

he straightens up before taking a bow and returning to his previous position on your shoulder. "do you wanna skip the afterparty?"

"and do what, tim? i thought you were gonna catch up with armie?"

"i dunno- go to my place?"

you nod your head, and timothée let's the driver know to just go to his house.

you get out of the car in front of his apartment, quickly thank the driver, and dash inside; excited to remove the day. "can i shower?" you ask quickly already making your way upstairs.

"oui, mon trèsor, make yourself at home. ill be up in a while." it was almost as if he had it scripted. a routine more or less. you'd ask to shower - despite him telling you almost each time you never had to ask - and go up stairs to do so; him trailing along about an hour later behind you.

you finish your shower earlier than planned so you decide to lay on his bed until he comes up. you let your freshly washed body relish in the textures of the cotton t-shirt and shorts you're wearing and the damp-cool feel of the comforter on his bed.

you're not left alone for long before he darts up the stairs and into his room, catching your attention. you watch as he walks around, dropping various articles of his clothing haphazardly on his floor. left in only his boxers.

"timmy?" you ask in a drawn out voice.

"hm?" he asks lowly in response; his eyes trained on you. you don't respond to his muffled question and instead watch as he comes to lean over the foot of the bed, by your legs. "i've been thinking," he continues, "a lot recently. about us.."

"us?-"

"about what the media thinks we are. what the people say. the blog posts, the tweets. i read it all… what do you think about it, y/n?" he ends with a light sigh, making drawing light swirls on your leg.

"i dunno really. i've never thought much about it," you say sitting up.

he moves up from his place in front of the bed, crawling up to sit to the right of your legs. knees drawn up to his chest, eyes meeting yours. he raises his hand so his fingertips ghost the curve of your cheek. "you never think about.. the possibility of us?" he pauses as his eyes drift from yours. hands falling to his lap as he scoots even closer to you. you sit stunned, not knowing how to answer as if it was some rhetoric instead of a simple question. filling the silence, he continues. "i think about how different things would be if we were together. what it would be like to hold you and kiss you and- can i kiss you?"

his voice wavers as his eyes meet yours yet again. with quick movements, he moves to straddle your legs, both hands resting lightly on either side of your face.

"can i kiss you?" he asks again, his face millimeters from yours.

you shake your head yes as your eyes fluttering closed, your lips brushing against his as you move.

he plants his lips firmly on yours. innocent at first, but the kiss quickly gets deeper. more desperate, his hands moving from the sides of your face to tangle in your hair, pulling your head back giving him access to your neck. his lips dance around the skin of your neck, being careful not to leave any marks. “is this okay?” he whispers, dragging his hands from your hair to the hem of your shirt.

you nod your head vigorously and he pulls your shirt up and over your head, throwing it to the floor with his clothes. you lean back and give timothee free reign of your chest and stomach. he makes his way from your neck down and across your chest. your hands rush to knot in his hair as he takes a nipple in his mouth, carefully flicking his tongue across the hardening bud before doing the same to the other.

"timmy.." you breathe out as he leaves your chest and explores lower. his eyes meet yours as his teeth come into contact with the flimsy waistband of your sleep shorts. "please," you whisper.

he hooks his fingers into the waistband of your shorts and pulls them down your legs; eyes going wide when he sees you have nothing underneath.

"so pretty," he whispers almost to himself as he throws your shorts in his floor with the rest of your guys' clothes. he runs his finger along your slit, collecting some of your wetness, tasting it. laying back down with your legs over his shoulders, he hooks his arms around your thighs to keep you in place. he runs his tongue along your folds and you arch your back in response. he sucks on your clit making you squirm and tangle your fingers tighter in his hair, pushing against his face, eager for more.

"tim-... timmy," you beg.

timothée kisses his way back up your body. "hm?" he hums softly beside your ear only for you to utter another weak 'please' in response.

his head drops to your chest and the soft, sweet praises slowly turn into obscenities. "merde," he groans, picking up his pace even more. holding himself at arms length above you, he throws his head back; lips parted in pure bliss.

you lift one of your hands to trail down timothée's torso. you lazily drag your fingertips across his chest and down to his stomach. the pleasure building inside you, your hand finds its way to your clit. “timmy... fuck! ple- please don’t stop. fuuuuuck!”

you cut him off and turn to face him. “i might hate going to those award shows, but they’re a little less bad with you around.”

he breaks into a wide smile and pulls you closer, putting his head on your stomach. "mon amour, je t'ai toujours aimé." you reach down to play with his curls and begin to drift off on your way to sleep.
