Mr. Senator
Eren, mindful of the importance of his public image for his campaign for becoming senator, begins his search for a suitable wife who not only shares his political views but also enhances his appeal to voters. He sets his sights on his colleagueās daughter ā pretty, kind, with desires of having children and also young ā unaware that she has secretly had feelings for him for many years.
Meanwhile, Mikasa, a dedicated literature student with a passion for photography, spends her time accompanying her father to his political engagements. It is during one of these meetings that she encounters a promising young politician who impresses her with his ambition and dedication. She finds herself strongly drawn to him and attempts to arrange casual encounters, though she feels hopeless that he will never see her in a romantic light, believing herself to be incompatible with his preferences.
Until one day, he surprises her by inviting her to the theater, and on their way home, he steals her a kiss.

bodyguard au snippet
i had posted part of this scene before but i changed some of it lol and hereās just an extended part overall!!! honestly i really just love mikasa in this au so much like sheās just so funny lmao
āI think we have some things we need to talk about,ā a voice that would be sweet if it wasnāt so clearly filled with anger calls out, sending a slew of chills down Erenās spine. He turns towards the kitchen where her voice came from, the image of her smaller frame greeting him, discontent apparent on her face.
āUmmā¦ Sureā¦ What did you want to talk about?ā He hates how thereās so much uncertainty in his voice, but he doesnāt know how to act around her. Is he supposed to feel guilty? Is he supposed to be stern? Is he supposed to try and be her friend?
If she wants to come off intimidating, sheās doing a good job, making no effort to give off friendly smiles or warm, compassionate glimpsesāher stare is icy and steely, and she leaves no room for small talk, immediately jumping into the matter. āLetās not play stupid hereāIām gonna assume youāve put two and two together and realized Iām pissed off at my parents. But more importantly, you want this job for whatever reason, and I want you gone,ā she says candidly. āIt seems thereās a very simple solution to both of our issues hereāwhatever my parents are paying you, Iāll double it. And you can go back to that sad little Garden State of yours, and weāll both be happy.ā
The limits of an Ackerman truly know no bounds, just as Kenny had said, proven by Mikasa merely a few hours after their initial meeting. Eren sits bewildered, unsure of how to handle her proposition, knowing he obviously canāt accept her offer, but inciting more rage into her would only make matters worse.
āI was told by Levi and Kenny that you might try and bribe meā¦ā His voice trails off, watching as Mikasa eyes him intently, waiting for him to finish the remainder of his sentence. āAnd they also told me to be sure and ignore you.ā
The grey of her eye is covered by the way it physically twitches at his words. If Erenās striving to neutralize the situation, heās failing horribly. He doesnāt know how heās supposed to win in this scenario.
āOf course they would fucking tell you that,ā she says, rolling her eyes. Mikasa lets out a sigh, drumming her freshly manicured fingers against the granite, her mind turningāEren clearly derailing her plans. After a few beats, she clasps her hands together before leaning forward onto the island. āFine. If youāre here to stay, then letās get a few things straight, Eren,ā the emphasis on his name apparent, plush lips omitting the āNā at the endāsomething that mightāve been endearing if she didnāt sound so indignant. āWeāre not going to be friendsāletās get that clear.ā
With Mikasa, itās clear Eren needs to stand his ground; he canāt falter under unrelenting stares and callous words. So he chooses not to waver, forcing himself to pocket whatever remnants of hesitation or nervous energy that linger. āI expected as much. And you donāt seem like theā¦ friendly type, anyways,ā he shrugs, attempting to maintain his usual apathetic demeanor, which for reasons he canāt explain, seems to feel like a foreign concept ever since heās arrived in New York. āIām only here to do my job, after all, arenāt I?ā
āIām actually very friendly, just donāt expect me to be friendly to you.ā He finds humor in how her voice sounds the exact opposite of the words she speaks. āBut anyways, if youāre going to be living in my house, we need to get some things straight here.ā
āShouldnāt I be the one setting rules for you?ā
āWhat rules do I need to follow? You follow me around all day whenever I decide to leave the house, I guess I try not to get into trouble for the sake of my parents , and you lock yourself in the guest room every other hour of the day. Simple as that,ā Mikasa says matter-of-factly.
A silence settles over the two of themāon Erenās end, itās due to her sheer audacity, mostly because heās not sure if sheās actually being serious, and on Mikasaās end, because she expects him to actually agree, awaiting his nod of approval.
Realizing sheās awaiting an approval she wonāt get, Mikasa relents. āFine. You donāt have to lock yourself in the room all dayādo as you wish I guess,ā she says, releasing a huff. āBut this brings me back to things we need to discuss.ā

but i was actually just thinking about this the other day!! like some of the drabbles (and if i ever do more which i think i def will bc the inspo comes when yall send me fun hcās!!) might stay tumblr only, but some might make there way into the fic in some way? like maybe different variations!! the suit one for sure is gonna be in the fic, but it might be different and itāll be a lot more detailed in it as well too! i also will definitely implement a lot of the hcās into there as well too! off the top of my head all the pajama things are FOR SURE going in there, the little joke about the ribbon, them cooking together!!
and as for the whole playboi carti thing lmao heās not gonna have a cameo in the fic or anything insane š but iāve made made stupider references in my fics before lol so it might just be one line in an entire chapter to a song or something lol maybe mikasa plays a carti song and erenās shocked itāll be silly but nothing crazy lol
