When I first encountered the trans!Gwen theory I thought people just read too much into things
After watching the movie, I think what sells me the theory the most is actually her dad's badge
The speeches can be interpreted as a general thing, you can read whatever issue you have into it; there are a gazillion problems that are extremely difficult to open up about especially if they might spark a conflict
Color coding might be totally accidental
The poster in her room can be viewed as just a heads-up from the creators when politics is getting shitty in the US - Gwen might simply be a cool ally
But the badge? Why would George wear such a badge if he doesn't have someone close to him who is actually trans? I mean, okay, apart from an equally far-fetched theory that not all symbols are the same across the multiverse and the badge might have a totally different meaning on a different Earth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and an even more far-fetched theory would be to think George's trans lol
Anyway, I do admit I have very shallow knowledge of the whole Spider-Man universe, but I've seen quite a few stories where an adaptation or remake reimagined established characters so even if trans!Gwen would go against comics!Gwen that wouldn't be the first example of a character portrayed differently in different media (plus the whole movie is about going against canon so there's that lol)

Needs to be said, but next mystery dungeon game Needs a outfit/cosmetic option. Like mainline Poké games have had costume changing for a while now and with how popular MD is as well the concept of being Your own Pokémon character, it just makes sense.
Like having a scarf is wonderful, but a Lil cape and hat would infinitely make 60 bucks worth every penny. Plus MD ocs always go hard, imagine the level of creativity they'd reach with that power ✊️😔
OHHHHH THAT WOULD BE SO COOL.
Give us capes and hats. Scarves and bows. Bandanas. Hoodies. Gameplay could be so cool looking. Pmd rescue team deluxe had the baseline now give us more hats I need to give my vulpix a cowboy hat
