“Guys I really don’t want to go, I have stuff to get done.” You groaned as Wanda and Natasha tried to get you into going to Tony’s party. You didn’t know why he was throwing the party, but then again you didn’t know why Tony did anything. You were currently sitting in your room at the compound, homework and books spread out along your bed. You could see Natasha roll her eyes.
“We’ll buy you pizza.” The red head said, Your head slowly raised and Nat had a mischievous grin on her face.
You set down your pencil, raising an eyebrow. “Get me two pizzas, plus cookie dough and I’ll go.” You said. Her and Wanda nodded. “I can go in a t-shirt and jeans right? You asked, going back to your homework.
Wanda’s mouth fell open. “Looks like you’re going shopping in our closets.” You groaned, flopping onto your back.
“You better get me those pizzas now.” You said, glancing at Nat. She nodded, already pulling out her phone. Wanda shut all your books and dragged you from your room and into hers.
Oh why must they want to torture me? You wondered to yourself.
Wanda walked into her bedroom, waving her hand and opening her closet doors. “Alright, so you look really good in dark colors, so maybe you could wear a dark mauve, or maroon, or green..”  Wanda started going through her closet, grabbing clothes she thought might fit you. You sighed sitting on her bed and raking your hands through your hair. Most of the things Wanda had picked out were dresses, short dresses to be exact. You looked through the clothes, not really finding one you liked until your eyes landed on a dark green, of the shoulder dress. You picked it up and felt the material and examined it, finally nodding and deciding to wear it to the party. Wanda told you shower while she got everything ready to do your hair and makeup.
After your shower you dried off and put the dress on, then let Wanda take care of everything else. First was your makeup, then your hair, and finally your black high-healed shoes. Wanda looked over her work, smiling and nodding to herself. After thanking her you walked back o your room and waited. Occasionally you’d check your phone, but only out of boredom.
When the time finally came Wanda and Natasha came and got you, grinning like idiots when they saw how beautiful you looked. You only rolled your eyes, but they could see the obvious blush that raced its way up your cheeks. The compound was already full of music, and you could already smell the alcohol. You hated to admit it, but you were actually very nervous. You’d never been so dressed up for a party, not even homecoming. As soon as your heels hit the tiles of the party room, most heads turned towards you and your two friends. At first you thought they were all staring at Nat and Wanda, but then as you walked down to where the drinks were, they were all staring at you.
Nat and Wanda were able to drink alcohol, which you really needed at the moment, but you just stuck with your plain old water. You sat at the bar with the two girls for a while, kind of being ignored until you felt someone tap your shoulder. You jumped slightly, but then realized that it was just Steve. Bucky was standing close to him, obviously feeling the same way you felt. You gave a small smile.
“You look great, Y/N/N.” Steve had said over the music.
You shrugged. “Thanks. You don’t look to bad yourself.” Steve nodded. He noticed how you were completely uncomfortable so you asked if you wanted to join him and Bucky. You agreed, but you didn’t really know why. They attempted small talk, trying to learn more about you, but you really didn’t want to be there in general, so you were pretty quiet. As Bucky was about to ask a question you heard a crash from somewhere in the room. Immediately, you Steve, and Bucky stood up. The crowd had stopped dancing and drinking to look at where the noise came from. Through the crowd you saw Peter, but of course he was in his Spidey suit. You rolled your eyes.
“Y/L/N! Where’s Y/L/N?” You heard Tony shout, You sighed and walked through the crowd, most people stepping out of your way so you could get to Tony. When he saw you he gave a sad smile and looked over at the broken window. Shards of glass were sprawled across the floor and in the corner was the one who broke the window in the first place. Spider-Man. You sighed and reached out to the broken shards. One by one they began to reconnect and place themselves back into the position they were in. It only took a minute or so for the window to be a window again. When it was done the music turned back on and everything went back to the way it was.
“I’m so sorry, Mr. Stark. I-I, just..” Peter started to ramble but Tony cut him off.
“Just go change, kid.” You couldn’t help but laugh as Peter stumbled away, obviously embarrassed.  You chuckled, walking to the kitchen to look for food. Most of the time you didn’t eat any of the food at Tony’s party, mainly because they all had some sort of alcohol in them. You huffed. Maybe your pizza would be here soon.
While you went through some food in the kitchen, trying to find something edible you felt a tap on your shoulder. Spinning around quickly you saw Peter. He were black pants, a white button down shirt, and a black blazer. In your opinion he looked pretty good.
He gave you a shy smile. “H-hey, Y/N.” He said slowly. “Y-you, um... you look great.” Peter was nervous, you could tell by the way and kept rocking back on his heels. It made your het skip a beat.
“Thanks, you don’t look to bad yourself, Parker.” The boy blushed, looking down quickly. You giggled, which only made his blush darken.
“I- um, I didn’t know that you were uh- you were an...” He couldn’t come up with the right words, like most people.
“An inhuman? You can say the word, Pete, it doesn’t offend me.” You shrugged. “I like who I am, I just don’t talk about it”
Peter nodded. It was silent between the two of you, at least it was until Tony came walking up behind Peter. He put his hand on his shoulder, making him jump a bit. “I want to introduce you to some people, kid.” He looked at you. “Mind if I steal him for a few minutes.” You shrugged, giving him the go ahead. The two walked off, Peter having a disappointed look on his face. As you decided to walk back to your room your phone buzzed in your hand.
Nat : You’re pizza and cookie dough is here.
You smiled, locking your phone and going to the front door. You opened it and a girl held two pizzas an a tub of cookie-dough. She said Nat had paid online and then she left. You sighed, finally happy that you had your food. You walked back to your bedroom, changing into something more comfortable. After wiping your makeup off and taking your hair down from its bun, you put on your sweatpants and a sweatshirt before heading up to the roof top. You had never liked parties, they just weren’t your thing.
You sat down on the roof with your pizzas and cookie dough, enjoying the cool night in the city, and eating your pizza. This is what you liked. You didn’t like big parties where you have to dress up to look good. You liked sitting an oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants, eating junk food and listening to the city noises.
While you were on the roof enjoying yourself, Peter was still downstairs being introduced to person after person. He just wanted to talk to you, that’s all he ever wanted to do, but he was to nervous. While Tony was distracted he slipped away to find you, but had no luck. He check a few of the other rooms, until he decided to check the roof. He liked sitting up there after a long, stressful day of school and crime fighting, so why not check up there for you as well?
When he smelled the pizza he knew you were up here. He walked towards you, not startling your scaring you at all. He sat by your side, looking out at the sky and city lights.
“It’s so peaceful out here.” You said, taking a bite of your pizza, but not looking away from the city. Peter’s head turned in your direction.
God she’s beautiful. He thought to himself. He liked seeing you this way, sweats, sweatshirt and no makeup. It made you look like a normal teenager. “Yeah, it is.” He responded after a few minutes. He couldn't stop staring at you, but you barley noticed. “So uh, why’d you decide to ditch the party? I thought you would’ve liked being down there.” Peter mumbled.
You shrugged. “It’s not my thing.” Peter chuckled. Never in a million years would he think that you, his crush, who he thought was the most amazing person ever, would ever ditch a party. “Why aren’t you down there? Tony get annoying as usual?” You asked.
“It’s not my thing either.” He admitted.
That night was spent with the two of you sitting on the roof top, eating pizza and cookie dough, and looking out at the city. It was the best party either of you had been to.

Colors That Go With Brown – Tips And Outfit Ideas
Brown, tan, camel, caramel, toffee, coffee, copper, and many other shades that fall under the brown spectrum are just pure classy. Take a step back and think about some of your favorite room décor items, hotel themes, restaurants, jackets, boots or coats – you guessed it, right? Most of them come in brown, bark or other tones. And, at the risk of saying something cliché, I’m going to say – we have seen enough to know that brown could be the new black. You just have to decide if you want to pop it with accessories, boots, jackets, trousers, sweaters or any other item. Here’s some fashion inspiration you can take cues from. Cheggit!
1. Dress
Instagram, Instagram
Brown and its many variants make for great stand-alone colors, just like black. So, here are a couple of simple ways to wear camel and cinnamon shades of brown and doll up in fine jewelry to subtly go with the flow. But, if you are looking to pack a punch with the same outfit, throw on an animal print scarf with a golden cross body bag and muted gold pumps; or go for full gold accessories that can be either chunky or simple, depending on your mood. A plaid shirt dress in brown with combat boots is another classy combination for fall. Strut around in this sipping pumpkin spice latte.
2. Pants/Trousers
Instagram, Instagram
Brown trousers, formal pants, chinos, joggers, leather pants, etc., are all classy ways to incorporate brown into your outfit. If you do not want to be outlandish, go for softer undertones, and of course, white tops. You can never go wrong with whites and browns. Loose yoga pants, palazzos, side tracks, and joggers are all fun and peppy ways to wear brown. Whites, pastels, off-white, beige, etc. are all sartorially approved colors, while black is a big no. If you want to go all out and take inspiration from the runway, throw on a red puffer jacket, shrug or a hat.
3. Oversized Sweaters
Instagram
There’s just something about the monochromatic brown looks that gives you a polished look almost instantly. Sweaters are interesting choices and go with most light washed jeans, jeggings or fleece leggings. But a brown oversized sweater with ankle length boots, boyfriend jeans, and big chunky sunglasses is a sure shot way to up your fashion standards and make winters exciting.
4. Leather Jacket

The best of camel or brown colored jackets are from Burberry, so if you own one of those, your quota for brown is taken care of and anything more is just a bonus. I settled for a brown leather jacket, and we all know why. On a serious note, a camel trench (of any brand), a leather jacket or a faux fur coat in brown are all snazzy additions to your coat closet.
5. Shorts
Instagram
Instead of regular denim shorts or hot pants, go for khaki shorts or brown leather shorts and look impeccably stylish. Again, a no-brainer would be to wear a white shirt if you are headed to a fancy concert or dinner. If you want to add layers, throw on a simple tank with a shrug (or not), a plaid shirt, a bomber jacket or something along those lines.
6. Skirts
Instagram
Pencil and formal skirts with a neatly tucked in white shirt are for the corporate smart chicks who are on top of their fashion game. Nude or pastel colored pumps will perfectly complement the look. A tote bag or a leather satchel in brown, fine silver accessories or a blazer will spruce up your look.
7. Leggings

Come winter, ditch your regular black leggings and meet your new best friend – brown leggings. Loose pastel-colored sweaters, white T-shirts, knee-high boots, chunky dull gold accessories, animal print scarves or tops, etc., can go with them. Or, go with a monochrome look with brown leggings, camel trench, and ankle length boots – and if you’ve wanted to get balayage or caramel highlights, this might be a good time.
8. Boots And Shoes
Instagram, Instagram
Are you new to the brown bandwagon? And, don’t know where to start or want to take it slow? Start with some boots. For all you know, you might be doing it already. But yes, remember this – ankle length for every day, pumps or knee-high boots for a fancy day out and combat boots whenever you feel like it. But, brown boots or shoes are the way to go.
9. Scarf

Scarves are and have always been the easiest props to spin around an outfit. Go for a thick brown or copper colored scarf to complement your brown boots, or an animal print scarf to go with your camel coat. These are classy ways to incorporate streaks of brown into your outfit.
10. Accessories
Instagram, Instagram
Watches, jewelry, earrings, glasses, finger rings, lipstick, bags, and hairbands in brown are all little things that can pop your outfit. Junk in brown is so cool!
Brown is just as classy as black, only a little trickier to wear until you find your way around it. But hey, we all need some creative challenges and should explore options to make life exciting. And, as far as I’m concerned, I need new things to obsess over every other season, and I have found mine for this one. How do you want to style your browns? Let us know by dropping in a comment in the section below.
