If I'm not mistaken, you drew your profile pic right? How did you get that cool texture?

The printed effect is using a photoshop plugin called inklab.

Everything else is just from the brushes I use, mostly Lane Brown’s charcoal and pastel brushes for procreate.

#it is possible to do this all by hand in photoshop #just takes a lot more time #anything photoshop related can be found for free if you know where to look wink wink #I paid for all the procreate stuff though. My friends stunning art work of a character they gave me

The art I did of this amazing bean

I used notebook paper,paint marker,pens,and paper with patterns on it.

✨Trixxy art advice ✨

I recommend pilot G2 pens they last a really long time ,up to a few years for me.

I also recommend microns for pens for lining if the inkpens feel is not your thing,I will say they don't last as long for me at least.

I used pigma brush pens for the coloring on the character, and a paint pen for the outline.

Paint pens are fun

I honestly normally use ohuhu makers or artist loft brush pens for coloring because they look smoother,over pigma brush pens.

For white gel pens I normally use uniball singno I recommend buying them online because In stores they may have been on the shelf for a while.

Also if your struggling with the marker you use not going on a more plastic surface any metallic marker work wonders, I recommend inklab but honestly I haven't gotten a bad metalic marker.

Paint pens also work but they are a more watery,and smudge.

I also will say using a artist glove they sell for digital art works wonders with not smugging your graphite

Glitter gel pens are so much fun but some brands don't last as long mine don't have the brand on the side of them or I would put them,I used one on this piece to add that ✨ sparkle ✨.

Also I will recommend buying a small amount of art supplies slowly and keeping with brands you prefer.

It's good to experiment but if you don't have the money for it don't,or buy cheap or on sale supplys you want to try out or use regularly.

Also no matter what medium you use you can get good, without spending a lot. Talent isn't in the art supplies alone it comes with practice.

If you hate using markers don't use them

If you hate using paint don't use it.

Find the things you like to use and use them.

For all my digital art I use ibis paint which is a free app and personally I love it.

If your struggling with digital art get a thin stilus that isnt Bluetooth just like that plasty stuff if you don't have much money they work wonders.

I use a iPad with apple pencil but that's only because I got one at college and bought it with my meal plan money when I quit.

College isn't for everyone and if you quit it's ok just try to find what way to make money that is fun for you.

Personally I'm going to sell art online and at cons.

I also have my commissions open.

Remember wait and just because people dont commission you at first doesn't mean your a bad artist.

Keep going. Keep posting. Keep doing art.

If that's what you enjoy doing do it.

Post on multiple sites.

Try your best.

Stream if you like streaming.

Just keep going you got this I believe in you.

If you guys need anything, advice some one to talk to you can msg me on here. I'll try my best to give advice.

Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Art programs and art is confusing and asking people questions is ok.
