Hello, I'm John! Back in the day you probably knew me as Mist but, y'know what? You can call me Stringer. I'm a 40-something, autistic, bi, disabled trans artist from the UK. I’m a tumblr veteran (since 2012) and was lucky enough to meet the love of my life here! I've been here too long to have any pride, my blog is a dumpster fire of my mostly fandom-related art, dumb posts, matters that concern me and tumblr nostalgia 🖤 Fandom slave to: Torchwood (my longest hyperfixation, HELP) What We Do in the Shadows, MCU (and Marvel in general) especially Runaways and Jessica Jones; Doctor Who (new & classic), Homestuck, Red Dwarf, Ashes to Ashes/Life on Mars, My Hero Academia, Yu-Gi-Oh, Xenoblade, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, classic Sonic, Yakuza, 80s and 90s nostalgia and fun and games from the Highly Medicated Corner 🖤 I'm a transguy who enjoys doing a bit of drag, I used to identify as straight, then testosterone and Torchwood happened and now I'm attracted to all genders 💙💜💗 I'm demisexual and am SO lucky to have found my Moirspritmaterail, best friend and lover ❤️💛💚💙💜 We used to live on a boat, now we live in a static caravan! I have fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, crohn’s and UC, endometriosis, narcolepsy, recurrent meningitis and anxiety so I apologise for occasionally disappearing!

Sorry I’ve been MIA for a little bit, been trying to sink all my time into work to try to catch up a little from being sick and then for the last few days I’ve been getting a weird error where tumblr times out into weird code, just started working again in the last half hour for me and that’s a huge relief - I was having to use the app for my other work and it crashed like every time I tried to post or check notifications and was generally really frustrating!! Glad everything’s up and running again now, not sure what was going on but it was happening for me on three different browsers and two accounts ughhhh technology :P
I’m going to try to get back to posting some art here next week 💙

Some people in fandom desperately need to become obsessed with something SUPER niche and obscure. Something with like 10 active fans at the very most. Something with only 6 fics if you're very lucky, all but one written by the same dedicated fan. Something where when you do find a fan account, it's been innactive for years. Something that's not available on streaming and its only physical release was never released in your country. Let it humble you.

2 Sumatran tiger cubs were just born at the Memphis Zoo which is awesome bc they are critically endangered and also I am losing my mind over this image of the cubs and their mom. The babies’ tails make a heart….
