2 nights ago a man was shot 12 times in the chest and died about 50ft directly behind where I spend most my time. If I looked out my window behind me, I would have seen his body. I did look outside in the morning and saw him bagged.

He partially died on my property, his gun and heroin needles were found in my yard. The needles weren't found until the state police left after 10 hours, so this is something my dogs could have found.

There were at least 20 shots fired and I had never heard gunshots before. I was okay, but my mental state is quickly deteriorating. Every sound from outside has me running to see what it is. ADHD normally keeps about 7 active thoughts in my head at once, now I'm at like 15. So my working memory which was already non existent from work stress is now significantly worse.

My house was on the market for 4 months before I bought it, and I'm probably gonna sell it for cheap just to get out.

So does that mean Viktor's accent isn't because he speaks another language in your Zaun Family au?

Uh... kind of?

In my head it's specifically a dialect but it's one that's bordering on becoming a separate language. So when Viktor and his family code-switch into it Jayce (and Caitlyn and anyone else from Piltover) cannot understand what they are saying other than certain phrases and words and making educated guesses at the ones they don't understand.

If you ask someone in Piltover they probably will say it's a separate language. But if you ask someone in Zaun they will say it's not because basically everyone in Zaun speaks it and to them the 'Zaunite accent' is just the way to tell someone's from the lower part of Zaun while as you get higher up the closer the accent is to the Piltoven one. Because Silco and Viktor were born and raised in the part of Zaun where Zaunite (for lack of a better designation) was the default they got the accent of it, while Vander and the other kids grew up where the more Piltovan-sounding accent was dominant so they ended up with that one (again with probably phrases/odd pronunciation in Zaunite but everyone in Zaun has that to an extent).

The world is making me tired.

I hope you've been keeping warm. I think Jack Frost has been on Steroids in my neighborhood lately. I don't watch the news as much as I used to. It just irritates me. I see in New York City they are now giving illegal aliens 1000 dollar debit cards to use for food since they have complained about the food they've been getting. What in the world? We've got homeless Americans who need help and this is what's happening with taxpayer money. I'm not heartless, I'm just done with it. We've got thousands of folks just crossing our border and we're giving them cell phones and free housing. Not me. As they crossed the border I'd give each child a balloon and every adult a ten-dollar Starbucks Card and say "Good Luck". We are not a country of dreamers any longer. We need to let people know we are now a country of Doers. You come here, you better figure out what you can do to survive, and it better not be a crime. The days of us playing nice with that are coming to an end. I feel it coming. I could probably make a fortune selling a t-shirt that read, "I've had enough". I see it was announced that Transgender women can now box in the upcoming Olympics. It's going to be interesting to watch the female boxing match on TV with my son and decide if we're rooting for the one with the handlebar mustache or full beard. Priceless times.
