That iconic scene between SQX and FX 😂 lol😝. I know they had changed this in the anime ,but haha.
SPOILERS:
This was actually what happened in the novel. SQX actually jumped on FX.FX actually lost his soul.A full out of body experience.
I really want to see some head canon fics on how FX got this trauma. His fear of women is funny, that's why it was such a flabbergasting moment to know that he was Cuo Cuo's dad.
I mean I can understand that this man can be a darling, with his loyalty and affection towards the people he care for plus his other reputation of women's friend👀 ,he cannot help but attract women so haha please he needs some therapy sessions to get over his fear of women 😆.
(P.S: If anyone knows who the artist is please let me know,so I can tag them.)

How to customize my Tidy CAS
Feel free to make your own images and cutomize it to fit your needs. If you want to upload your edited version, please just give proper credit!
Tumblr media
Download the .psd file (Simfileshare, no ads)
━━━━━━ ・❪ ☾ ❫ ・ ━━━━━━
💜 How to use my Photoshop template
Tumblr media
I will just be explaining very simple steps.
If you want to change the background color/image, simply create a new layer inside the "Backgrounds" folder an make it whatever you want.
Tumblr media
In order to change the font and other text settings, first sort your Photoshop layers by just text:
Tumblr media
Now if you want the same font on all of them, just select all text layers and edit their properties to whatever you like. You might have to adjust all layers by hand if your font doesnt fit in the window, you have to play around with that.
Tumblr media
Next I will change the outline style or rather delete it.
If you want to change the color, make a drop-shadow etc. you have to simple double click on the right side of the "Text layers" folder where it says "fx".
Tumblr media
Now you can adjust the style to whatever you want and all text layers will change.
Tumblr media
Lastly you want to save all the organizer separately as .png files. You should have 43 image files after saving all.
━━━━━━ ・❪ ☾ ❫ ・ ━━━━━━
💜 How to load your textures into the merged package file in Sims4Studio
First just open up the package. Since it's merged it will look a bit confusing.
What you want to do is look for all "CAS part Thumbnail" entries. (You can sort by type, that will however mix up the order of the categories so I don't recommend it)
Tumblr media
Now on the right click on "import" to import your new image.
Tumblr media
Now do that for every single "CAS part Thumbnail" entry. Make sure you replace it with the right image so the names still match. If you did not sort by type, all the groups of 2 should be the same category.
Then just save in S4Studio and you are done!

Guest host Ralph Miller III, who worked behind the scenes on Dream Warriors provides insights and many effects development photos that are shown in the YouTube version of the podcast. Post-recording, the crew wants to clarify that Kevin Yagher was responsible for the Freddy Snake, and Mark Shostrom was in charge of the Penelope Sudrow dummy that smashes into the Freddyvision TV.
With the success of A Nightmare on  Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), following the critical failure of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), New line Cinema firmly cemented Freddy Krueger and A Nightmare on Elm Street as one of the most iconic horror franchises of its time. Not only does Dream Warriors feature Robert Englund continuing to breathe both humor and fear into Freddy Krueger but also the return of both Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon from the original. The film also features Craig Wasson (Ghost Story) as the male lead and early film roles for Patricia Arquette and Larry Fishburne. Frank Darabont (The Mist) and Bruce Wagner join Wes Craven on scripting chores and Chuck Russell (The Blob, The Mask) directs while Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet) provides the score – a winning combination of talent. Surely a Grue-Crew highly recommended selection with special effects by Greg Cannom, Doug Beswick, Mark Shostrom, Kevin Yagher, and more!
Be sure to check out the first time the 80s Grue-Crew took a dive into this film in February 2017, featuring Doc Rotten, Christopher G. Moore, and Thomas Mariani as the Grue-Crew. You can find it here: A NIGHTMARE ON ELMS STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS (1987) — Episode 102

AI predicts flooding - Technology Org

AI predicts flooding - Technology Org
The weather of the future will be significantly wetter. Artificial intelligence can be used to develop early warning systems that can buy time to mitigate flood damage and to plan good systems to divert water away.
Much of Jammerbugt Municipality consists of low-lying areas that are at risk of flooding in heavy and persistent rain. Pictured are flooded areas along the Ryå river. Image credit: Jammerbugt Municipality
Susanne Nielsen realizes that it is probably only a matter of time before her parents’ summer house at Slettestrand in North Jutland is affected by flooding. Because under the house, which is just 400 meters from the bay of Jammerbugt in the municipality of the same name, the groundwater level is now often so high that there is a risk that large amounts of rain will not be able to seep away, but rather enter the house.
“It’s a concern we have if we get a lot of rain,” she admits.
To give residents and decision-makers the best chance to protect themselves against flooding in the area, researchers from DTU have helped Jammerbugt Municipality develop an early warning tool. It can provide 48 hours’ notice of local flooding along rivers, streams, and coastal areas in the municipality. It is the first of its kind to provide local flood warnings.
“It will give us time to react if necessary, so it will be a huge help,” says Susanne Nielsen from her home in Aalborg – some 40 kilometres away from the summer house which she looks after for her parents, who live in Norway.
Complex nature, complex calculations
The tool – a so-called ‘wet index’ – is based on artificial intelligence trained on freely available data on dynamics that influence the risk of flooding. Data comes from satellite imagery and weather forecasts, as well as information on ground and seawater levels and the topography of the landscape.
However, the movement and accumulation of water in open landscapes are difficult to calculate because many parameters affect how water moves and accumulates. To handle this complexity, artificial intelligence was used in the development of the model behind the wet index.
By utilizing specific design principles in the construction of the model and feeding it with carefully selected data, the researchers have incorporated an understanding of water movement, distribution, and interaction with the surrounding environment, according to Roland Löwe. He is one of the developers of the wet index and an Associate Professor at DTU specializing in how water behaves.
Both ups and downs
Jammerbugt Municipality tested the tool in 2023. The results show better than expected predictions for the wet spring months. However, during the summer period, when Denmark was almost drought-stricken, the tool incorrectly predicted flooding in the same areas that had been flooded during the rainy spring.
The incorrect predictions were due to the tool being trained with too little data from the summer months. This is because satellites cannot register water beneath vegetation and given that fx. fields are covered by plants during the summer, the data set at that time of the year is smaller.
“An early warning needs to be relatively accurate for citizens to trust the system. This is why we chose to do a trial run, where only selected citizens have checked it regularly – and where we as a municipality had drones in the air to validate predictions,” explains Project Manager Heidi Egeberg Johansen from Jammerbugt Municipality.
However, she emphasizes that the overall experience is that the project partners have created a tool with great potential. Therefore, the municipality is seeking funding to re-train and possibly adjust the model, which will be offline until that work has taken place, says Heidi Egeberg Johansen.
Faster calculations and decisions
Accurate calculations are crucial – not only when citizens and emergency services need to get water tubes and sandbags ready, but also when, for example, municipalities need to decide how best to expand their drainage systems to handle the wetter climate of the future. Traditional simulations can easily produce rock-solid calculations of systems’ ability to divert water under different scenarios – but according to Roland Löwe, they take forever to complete.
“In practice, this means that every time planners need to analyze something, they have to hire consultants who disappear into a box for two months before they can come back with results. And that’s just too inconvenient,” he explains.
To shorten the computation time while maintaining the physical accuracy, the researchers rely on scientific machine learning, a branch of artificial intelligence that combines two different approaches.
Two approaches in one
One is machine learning, where a computer figures out how to analyze a large amount of data and makes predictions without having a theoretical understanding of the phenomena it is analysing. The spam filter in your email or the facial recognition feature in your phone are examples of machine learning.
The other approach is scientific computing, which can, for example, simulate physical processes, which in this case is how water moves through a given space under the influence of several factors.
“The advantage of combining the two approaches is that you get machine learning models that have a built-in understanding of how the system is expected to behave. This helps to ensure that the models generate fast predictions that make sense physically and aren’t all over the place, which can be a problem with machine learning models,” says Roland Löwe.
In a project where the professor, along with startup WaterZerv and Associate Professor at DTU Allan Peter Engsig-Karup, used scientific machine learning to predict the movement of water through drainage systems, they managed to perform calculations 100 times faster than with traditional models.
“So instead of outsourcing a project, you can gather the relevant decision-makers in a room to run the models live and get the results more or less immediately. You can then sit down and try out different options to find the best solution for a given situation,” he explains.

OMW — English Version from Emmanuelle Walker on Vimeo.
I am beyond excited to release my latest short - Le Jour où je me suis ramassée dans l’champ - or, simply OMW in its English version. This film is set in the beautiful province of Quebec where I grew up, so the original version had to be in French. After years in the animation industry, I wanted to direct a film with no constraints. I wanted to write a story for myself. With a carte blanche and team of animators from Wizz, I seized the opportunity to write a short film. It is a film without concern of an audience, a film that I would want to watch. In reality, I never wrote a single word. This film was born from 'frames' that felt natural to illustrate and animate. It was a purely visual endeavor, a puzzle of scenes. The basic idea was simply to have a character go through a day akin to an obstacle course where troubles pile up, but at every 'pothole,' the character would get up and continue. This character, detached from each unpleasant moment, moves forward without hesitation. In hindsight, with my personal revelations and discussions with friends, I realised the subconscious symbols of my film. All of which stemmed from a storyboard-based and entirely automatic writing process. Naturally, I anticipated questions about the snake. Indeed, the image of the snake can evoke temptation and death. A snake is often associated with chaos, especially when it slithers along a woman's leg. However, as depicted in Renaissance works, it is also a symbol of rebirth and immortality. Thanks again to my team for their hard work, I’m grateful for the opportunity offered by my lovely rep Wizz.

Effective Self-Care Tips with Pinkie & Handtonio
Tumblr media
Building healthy habits in modern era can be quite challenging. Even if people dedicate themselves to a new routines, it's hard to keep it consistent while there are abundance of distractors. Portland based creative studio Super Dope created quirky and funny short 3D animation Self-Care Tips with Pinkie & Handtonio to remind ourselves to work on better healthy habits. We see main character Pinkie's struggles to change her habits and replace them with more healthy ones such as late night binge eating or consuming less caffeine and sleeping at appropriate time. And Handtonio, remind her to what could be replaced with these patterns. A total of 6 tips shared in a total of two and half minutes of animation. The work itself carefully crafted and animated. Style, textures, presentation and interaction is great. Personally, this is first time I've heard Super Dope and now they'll be on my radar for their new projects. The team shared their creative process on their website and it shows how much effort they've put in for that. https://vimeo.com/840208808

Fujicolor Pro 400H Film Recipe For Fujifilm X-Trans IV Cameras
Tumblr media
Japanese Color Tone for Fujifilm X-Trans IV Cameras
Mood: Japanese, Vintage, Blueish Cool Honestly, the Fujicolor Pro 400H film recipe is one of the most complex Fujifilm recipes I have ever created. This was made based on the actual sample photos of discontinued 35mm Fujicolor Pro 400H film stock. I was happy to have the Fujicolor Pro 400H as the latest addition to my Fujifilm recipes which has the characteristic Japanese film-look colour tone. This Japanese film-like recipe is not created just by referring to Google image search but from the actual 120mm film photos like the images below. I like the blueish tone of this film and so I've decided to create based on this colour palette.

What Is Fujicolor Pro 400H Film Recipe All About?
This is one of the hardest and most complex ways during the creation of this film recipe. This film-like recipe is based on the Classic Negative and required certain lighting conditions to achieve the look. There are no right or wrong when creating a film recipe, because of the constant changing of lighting conditions, expired films, lens quality or different camera settings, the tone will certainly be changed as well too. If you are into film photography you will certainly know what I mean. Whenever you're shooting with this Fujicolor Pro 400H film recipe make sure you have your compensation exposure set and expose your shot properly because this film recipe required you to overexpose one stop or more. I'm sure you don't want to ruin your holiday photos just like that or forget to set to shoot JPEG+RAW (this happened to me for few times) but ended up shooting on SOOC JPEGs but in the end, you don't like the results. But still, I do like SOOC JPEG, not much editing is needed. The Shadow setting of this Fujicolor Pro 400H is set to +2, so you need to shoot overexpose to compensate according to your liking and to brighten your photo to get the tone to shine. If you like more contrast and deep blueish green, then you can shoot slightly overexposed. The Clarity is set to -2 to create a little dreamy look but it is better if you use the FX filters to create the dreamy effects if you don't want to have slowness with the Clarity setting. If you like Japanese film-look recipes, you can also check out the Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400 or Natura Classic. Happy shooting with Fujicolor Pro 400H, hope you like this new film recipe.
