⚠️SHSL Detective ! Kazuichi Souda 🕵️‍♂️

I'm hoping to make a small series of fun lil sprite edits with my talentswap AU that scrambles the talents of Class 77 and Class 78, and has its own weird lil story to go with it

(someday I'll think of a cool shorthand title. maybe. perhaps. as a treat. i would also like to write this story someday... we will see, since evidently im allergic to projects)

Headcanons? Headcanons for Detective Souda?

(also a lil comparison between this one and normal Kazu, and some AU info)

For this AU, characters' original body types, general interests/inclinations, and much of their personality is intact - the only parts of their personality that change are things influenced by their line of work alone. A lot of who we are and who we become tends to be influenced by our interests, which in turn is influenced by our upbringing, which also influences who we are... but I intend to keep the characters as close to how they are outside of their original talents as possible.

This AU also swaps the end twists between the 1st and 2nd games, and in some way keeps original relationships (like Makoto and Kyoko's partnership, and Souda's inclination towards Sonia). Some personality aspects are allowed to bloom or forced into hiding, depending on the upbringing I imagine would have been needed to allow these talents to shine within them and rise to Ultimate status.

ok Souda Headcanon Time:

The teeth are actually natural - he has a disorder which effects a number of things but especially effects his teeth, which are sharp as a result (something that evidently exists?? tho i forget the name, and it's not as perfect as drawn here ofc but.)

I think og-Souda would have a great skincare routine, one that Detective Souda lacks, since he never gained the motivation nor inspiration to care more about his appearance in front of others. So, he has some zits.

When he was very young, he was living with his father in their bike shop, but his dad went too far one night. A worried neighbor called authorities on them after witnessing his dad's aggression. At some point, the situation tips over, and Kazu's removed from his father's custody.

The detective investigating his father's abuse took care of him, and eventually adopted him after his dad was incarcerated. New Dad was not physically abusive, and genuinely cared for his new son, but due to his line of work he wound up kind of a sad sack of a person, so he's still a pretty cringefail/wetkitten father figure.

Kazuichi would accidentally stumble across his files around the house, and witnessed far more corpses than he likely should have as a child. Terrified at first, he eventually suppressed his fears in favor of trying to become a stronger person, and insisted on applying himself to learn his caretaker's line of work... inadvertently witnessing even more death and dying than he should have, from a young age.

As a young teen, he took interest in therapy and self care, and came to realize his trauma regarding his father and his guardian / upbringing. New Dad has his full love and respect and he tries to change for his son. This kind of expands Kazu's self-respect a little, while adding new depths to his hatred/fear of violence and conflict.

Due to his new caretaker, he never went to the same schools, and lost his original friends as a result - so he doesn't suffer from the same trust issues as OG-Souda, and as a result, easily clings to the people around him and allows himself to get lost in his head a tad more often than OG.

He specializes in forensic investigative work, because his brain is still wired better for calculations, spatial reasoning, and mathematical speculation.

He also still loves learning about how things work, and now, he's especially interested in how things have happened / come to be - finding satisfaction in analyzing evidence, instead of reverse-engineering parts/machines.

He even still has a mild interest in mechanics! But he is firmly convinced that being handy and technical is nothing to boast about.

He is also now convinced that he wouldn't make a good repairman/mechanic/engineer, anything of the sort. Part of this apprehension is due to his hatred of his father.

He is still pretty timid, and jumps easily at any sudden or loud noise, is afraid of the paranormal, gets upset easily when socializing, and feels terrified when there is any perceived threat.

However, death and dead bodies are some of the things that no longer frighten him. Upset, sure, but nothing like OG-Souda. He sees dead bodies as objects to investigate and solve, as opposed to feeling the horror of seeing a deceased fellow human, or feeling too overwhelmed if it's someone he knew. Because of this, it's easy for him to get lost in his work and feel totally disconnected while investigating.

it's completely understandable if you don't have that much time anymore or are working on something else or just lost drive and i mean this in no way to put pressure on you because i'll happily wait as long as it takes but is voidworld a project that's still in like production?

so ive had this ask sitting in my inbox for a hot minute but basically here’s what happened

voidworld is really important to me, but unfortunately its also really long. when i was doing daily updates i was fine for a while. but after finally getting burnt out and taking a break, i realized that, given its length, it would take me up to four years with daily updates to finish it. like i said, vw means a lot to me and i want to do the story justice and not half ass it by cutting content you know? but it being such a behemoth of a project makes it hard to resume production

i DO intend to finish it some day, but i want to get some shorter, more organized projects under my belt first

To be entirely honest I have no idea.

It’s not abandoned, to be clear, and it’s going to be finished. I just haven’t cared all that much about marvel in a hot minute, and writings like pulling fingernails when I’m not interested in the material. I’ve also noticed that it tends to make for some of my more poorly written chapters.

That being said, hyperfixation happens on the turn of a dime for me. It could be a week; it could be a month. I don’t really know. It will come though! I really love kintsugi and have no intentions of abandoning it.

#I do have to reread it before I update too #i change my style based on who’s narrating and that’s one of the reasons why updates fall off when I lose interest #it’s hard to maintain the characters inner voice #overall fanfiction is my ‘fun’ writing where I let myself cut corners and experiment so I am just very unserious about it overall #for my original works I make myself stick to projects a bit more and build writing stamina but im kinda here for a good time #I have decided to make myself finish up more works before I succumb to any new ones tho #tho those are probably gonna be toy rosaries and pez dispenser debris #that’s not to say that kintsugi or nhthcth will be neglected they’re just so much longer than the other two #my nhthcth are very long suffering they know that I will disappear into anime bog and return six months later with like seven updates #and there’s no in between #I am how I am

handsewing button holes through 6 layers of fabric is an unfortunately huge pain in the ass and tragically i have to do 18 of them

#ive done 3 so far so 6th of the way thru 😔 its ok im being so brave about this #i dont mind THAT much bc i enjoy sewing button holes tbh its just a little Meh bc it takes so long & like #i dont want to waste so much time while other project remain so unfinished #plus theres one layer of fabric which is already a bitch to sew thru one or two layers which like. i chose this fabric knowingly #i just forgot that id have to do the button holes by hand #& its for a corset too so theres boning on both sides which means there isnt all that much manoeuvreability #but ! i finished the top edge w bias tape (which i made myself without a little tool and went way better than ive done before with tool)#& it looks decently sick so ! i am positive about this thing overall its just that i shouldnt have made 7 holes on both sides at the back #i was originally only gonna do 5/side but then i was just measuring a hole/3cm & didnt think about my original reasoning for doing 5 #& by the time i recalled how much work it'd be id already actually used a seam ripper to make the holes so i cant back out now #+ something rly rly bothersome is that my iron left a pretty big stain on the fabric (im still not sure how this stuff works #but i think my boning had some rust on it and thats what made the stain rather than the iron itself #i could be wrong tho) so i think im either gonna try to wash it out obv but if that doesnt work #i might do some embroidery which im not looking forward to #but unfortunately needs must and ive already cut a few corners & have some imperfections that i need leeway on #AND i dont want EVERY single project to be noticably halfassed at my jury so #i'll be fine btw im complaining but more so im just sorting thru my thoughts bc im quite pleased w how it looks #despite the imperfections #& ive overall just had a good day #tomorrow is reserved for studying art history bc i have that exam on wednesday & wednesday i wanna use whats left of the day #to work on my drape (possible some of that will happen tomorrow too) so i can get it mostly finished #& then i still have the option of showing my teacher on thursday if i feel the need to do so #& also i just need to get that done so i dont have to worry about it too much anymore #then we'll be taking pics on sunday probably #& then i have 2 more days to finish my portfolios and sort all of that out (and fuck i keep forgetting i have to upload everything online)#& then !! jury time !! & the day after we're gonna go to a theme park & then we just have until the 2nd week of feb #to relax and do sort of whatever we want #excited !!!

#rat rambles #I finished reading all the lore stuff and I honestly care less abt the worldbuilding now somehow but the pod is my bestie now #shes obviously one of two ppl but Im not quite sure who (mostly cause I kinda skimmed over most of the jackie and olivia stuff at first)#Im guessing olivia tho based on the log that made me actually give a shit abt her #long story short she and jackie were scientist besties (wink wink) and wanted to make an infinite power source #and so they did that and also started working on developments to safely scout out and rebuild society on other planets #but then jackie started going a lil amoral scientist mode so olivia left the project but ended up returning later #now working under her old friend the two comtinued to make progress but the tear in their relationship only grew #basically they wanted to use cloning to provide all the resources a society could ever need and semi succeeded #they also hired a bunch of young and impressionable fledgling scientists to overwork and take dna sample from #they also took some samples from older workers and the janitor for good mesure #the duplicants that make up your colony in game are basically clones of the scientists that were working there at the time #but yeah blah blah blah jackie gets more ambitious and keeps trying to play god blah blah blah olivia is mad abt it blah blah blah #olivia is getting increasingly more and more frustrated and then she finds out that the teleportation technology jackie developed gasp #kills ppl wow how original #more interestingly its possible for the data that it takes to attempt to reconstruct the person to bleed into the ai of the printing pod #oh yeah and the printing pods are the machines that are supposed to supply and guide the dupe colonies but they had been struggling with it #cause computers arent good at being flexible lol #but yeah olivia is mad abt the whole killing ppl thing but the bleeding into the ai think sticks with her #it deeply intrigues her. she cant stop pondering the possibilities. it haunts her.#which leads to the quote that made me decide I do give a shit abt her actually #'I fear I may be going down a slippery slope- at the bottom of which jackie is waiting for me with open arms'#so basically while we dont get confirmation yeah no she totally put herself in the pod ai I adore this concept sm #after that I was so ready to be on board with oni lore but then the multiverse shit came up and that turned me away rip #I dont hate it mind you it just isnt interesting to me #it kind of makes the whole backstory feel less impactful to me because jackie found success #like idk I guess since olivia is the one who probably sorta kinda survived it makes jackie suceeding in a fucked up way meaningful #but like. nothing makes me go more crazy then tragedies where it all amounted to nothing #like even though practically it did you cant rly say jackie would have regretted it if she survived #like again you could argue that hits harder because its olivia who survived but eh I dont rly care

summary: fermin will have to confess his feelings to you before you fo back to your home country or else its too late

a/n: not proofread, because again, I am lazy... sorry :D

It was simple at first.

"Sex only?" You asked while Fermin nodded his head.

"We're both too busy to maintain a relationship, so why not just agree to be sex buddies, besides that, you need to leave in 3 months. I mean we both enjoy the sex don't we?" Your eyes lit up at the suggestion. Your friendship was falling apart since weeks now. So you agreed.

You originally met him at the university in a class where you had to work on a project together. The connection between you two was felt immediately. He also was shocked that your Spanish was that good since you're from Poland, you only moved to Barcelona to study for a few years before moving there.

"And you're...?" Fermin pulled the chair next to you so he could sit down. You threw your hair behind your back after you looked at the fit blonde man next to you.

"Y/n" You couldn't help but smile at him.

"Beautiful name." He didn't try to hide that he was flirting, the smile and the way he turned to face you in his chair was so obvious. "I'm Fermin."

"Nice to meet you Fermin." You looked up at him, he was slightly taller than you while sitting.

"It's a pleasure for me. It's also a pleasure to be working with you, I'm sure we're gonna have a great time together." Fermin told you without paying attention to his surroundings.

"Mr López, enough of the flirting you have time for that in your free time." Your professor scolded him and you quickly turned your head the other way to laugh.

Fermin shook his head while looking down into his lap, trying to hide that smile that spread across his lips when you looked at him again.

Suddenly Fermin sat down next to you on the bench in front of the school. "What are your plans for next year?" Fermin avoided eye contact while you looked at him with a shocked expression.

"Um, hi?" You smiled at him while he finally looked at you. "I'm gonna move back home, I'm not from here."

"Wait, you're not spanish?" He turned his upper body towards you as his brows knit together. He raised his brows as you shook your head. "Your Spanish is incredibly good. Its fascinating almost, taking that you're not even Spanish." He stopped for a second while he looked away. "Where are you from?"

"Im from poland" You answered and he couldn't help but smile at your words.

"So you can talk to Lewandowski?" He laughed a bit while you just grinned at his words.

"If I ever meet Lewandowski I'll talk to him in polish, yeah." You laughed.

Fermin the smiled. "When I play in the first team with him, I'll make sure that you're gonna talk to him in polish."

"Are you free tonight or do you have to study?" Fermins face was visible on your phone as you held it infront of you. You were just taking a walk on the beach when the midfielder facetimed you. Fermin had to leave for practice in 10 minutes so he wanted to talk to you about his idea. Even tho his friends knew about the two of you hooking up, he hated to talk about that topic in front of them.

"I have to study, but I can maje some time, when do you get off practice?" You inhaled the fresh air coming from the ocean while your shoes kept sinking into the sand.

"Can I come over after practice? That gives you another six hours to study." Fermins lips grew inro a smile afyer he heard that one sigh that meant 'fine, you have convinced me'. And he was right. "Fine, but shower at the facilities, I dont want you using my shampoo ever again." You gwve him a strict look. The midfielder bit his lip whole he nodded.

"I will, see you later." Fermin looked at you and the blue sky behind you. "Bye" You gwve him a small smile and then hung up the phone. After his face disappeared from the display, your airpods started playing runaway by Kanye West again, the midfielder calling you had paused the music on your phone. You inhaled sharply and then went on with your day.

"Hey babe!" Fermins voice echoed through the hallway right after the door slammed shut.

"I told you to stop calling me that." You sung without even taking your eyes off of the papers infront of you.

"Hey Sexbuddy, does that sound better?" Fermin was standing behind you, his presence made you feel hot immediately.

"No, that just makes me sound like an object." Eyes scanning across your notes whike you talked to the midfielder.

"Babe it is then." Fermin leaned down to your neck, his hit breath against your skin gave you shivers. You sighed and then turned in your chair so that you could face him. You looked at him for a couple of seconds before turning around again and going back to your studies. He then put both of his hands on your shoulders and you exhaled deeply.

"I don't see you for 5 days and your shoulders are this bad? You really need to relax a bit more." Fermin told you and started to massage your shoulders. You threw your head back as his string hands started to enlighten the tension from your muscles.

"I know babe, my hands work wonders." Fermin whispered into your ear and you couldnt help but smile. Then you stood up and stood proud infront of him, hair pulled back into a tight ponytail and shoulders pushed back. His hands slid from your shoulders to your waist, his big hands burning your skin with his hot touch. You were wearing a grey crop top with some black joggers.

You both knew why he was there, neither of you ever met up before to just talk with eachother. Maybe after sex he stayed sometimes but never just a normal meetup between the two of you.

"Let's go upstairs yeah?" You took Fermins right hand off of your body and interlocked your fingers with his. His lips curled up into a smile while he followed you up the staircase, his hand never leaving yours.

As soon as the two of you entered the bedroom, you closed the door and shut it behind yourself while Fermin shoved you against the door and crushed his lips into yours forcefully. Hot breaths were exchanged during the kiss and while Fermins hand slipped below the waistband of your joggers.

He then slipped them off then leaned down to grab your exposed tighs and lifted you up.

Your legs wrapped around his waist almost naturally and your lips never leaving his while your hands wrapped around his neck.

Eventually he walked you over to your bed and leaned over you, his hands sliding underneath the crop top and pulling it over your head. That left you only in your underwear.

"Take off your clothes Fer." You started pulling at the hem of his shirt until he chuckled and took off his clothes.

"Needy much princesa?" Fermin who was only in his boxers leaned over you again. The temple in his boxers was so obviously visible as you looked down at his abs.

"You could say that-" You then put your hands behind yourself and unclipped your bra, pulling it off your arms. His gaze shifted from your eye to your tits, a smirk made its way to his lips.

"But what if you find out instead?" You pulled off your panties too.

"At home." Fermin told Gavi in a nervous tone, he tried to hide it as much as he could from the younger midfielder but it was impossible.

"You were with Y/n weren't you?" Gavi sighed and looked away for a second before looking back at Fermin. "Listen you need to tell her that you have feelings for her."

Gavi's words made Fermins hair stand up straight, it almost gave him shivers. He was well known to the fact that he may or may have not caught real romantic feelings for you, but nobody had ever told him to confront you about them.

"I can't, you know that. What we have is just sex, we agreed on that." Fermin answered shortly and then turned back to the shirt he wanted to pull over his head.

"Your time is running out, how long until she leaves?" Gavi stood in that one spot while his friend kept changing his clothes.

"2 months." Fermin answered and avoided eye contact.

"You need to tell her as soon as possible." Gavi gave him a serious look before he turned around and made his way to his locker.

"mhm"

"Are you busy?" Fermin asked while you just walked into the locker room at the gym you were going to. A deep sigh escaped your lips as your chest was still rising up and down at a bit of a faster pace.

"I'm at the gym rn, I just got done." Taking the dark blue towel you always had with you and drying off the sweat off your forehead, Fermin smiled on the other end of the phone.

"I'll pick you up and we'll go back to your place, is that good?" Fermin asked.

"Yeah, just hurry, and I'll need to take a shower when we're there." You explained while already grabbing your hoodie so that youre not walking around with a sports bra only.

"Perfect me too, see you soon." Fermin hung up the phone with a wide smile. You on the other hand wasn't so smiley. So when Fermins car stopped at the side of the road and you were able to get in, he notoced immediately that you were in a bad mood.

He leaned over the center console and pressed a kiss on your lips, your eyes immediately widened and you pulled away from him.

"What are you doing?" You raised your voice a little as you looked at him shocked. Fermins smile had faded and he just loomed at you, confused while hie mouth was slightl open.

"I kissed you" Fermin tried to justify himself and he began to drive while you grabbed the seatbelt.

"Why here, do you want anyone to see? Do you want the media to know that we're fuck buddies?" You asked, Fermin just stayed quiet while he focused on ths road and listened to you. He knew that you were right but it still hurt him a bit.

So he mumbled a quiet "Sorry" and you scoffed while pulling out your phone.

Fermin on the other hand was biting down on his tongue while he really tried to keep his mouth shut. He just got the confirmation that you would never want to be his girlfriend, you dont wanna be seen with him.

So he stayed quiet, until he parked down the car in front of your apartment. "So you're still down to fuck?" Fermin asked, speaking way too fast but confident while he looked at you, brows knit together.

As soon as you heard his tone you turned your head confused. "Are you seriously mad now?" Your brows were raised and the midfielder scoffed while shaking his head and turning off the car.

"Let's go inside, since you don't wanna be seen with me anyways." Fermin mumbled as he opened the door, it was difficult for you to understand the last part because he had already stepped out of the car.

"Fer, come on" you walked a bit faster so you could catch up with him, he walked to your apartment and unlocked the door with his key. Then he turned around as soon as you closed the door.

"So you still wanna get laid? I see." Fermin nodded without even trying to hear you out. You tried to speak up multiple times but he always just answered with "no" and cut you off, until you had enough.

"Could you just shut the fuck up for a second and hear me out?" Your voice loud, it made Fermin shut his mouth immediately, he now looked at you with raised brows and big eyes. "i never said I dont wanna be seen with you, I said I dont want people to find out that we're hooking up. That's only for you, because you know how everyone is, they'll say stuff like youre distracted by me and all of that. I don't like you kissing me in public for your careers sake." You spoke way too fast which left you with a lack of air after everything you said.

Fermins mouth was hanging slightly open and he was speechless, he felt like an idiot. Not hearing you out when what you did was completely right, you were right. Now the regret washed over him and he buried his face in his hands.

He lifted his head again as he mumbled a quiet "Sorry" while looking into your eyes with all honesty. "I'm so sorry, you're right." Fermin told you again, this time you didn't just stand there, taking a step closer to him, you wrapped your arms around him and rested your head against his body.

He also put his arms around you and immediately he felt safe, he felt like everything in the world was okay again. That was when his eyes widened, however you didn't notice that. The truth was, Fermin was scared of his feelings, of his romantical feelings towards you.

He didn't want to fall in love with his sex buddy, what was even worse that you were leaving soon.

You pulled him back from his thought as you looked up at him due to him being slightly taller. "I still wanna get laid tho." A smile displayed on your lips while Fermin was looking back at you with an even bigger one.

Before he however did anything, he leaned closer to you and carefully put his lips onto yours. His hands pulling your hips closer and for the first time, the kiss you two shared wasn't rushed, wasn't contained only of moans and heavy breaths, nothing sexual, just you two sharing a kiss.

Then you pulled away and then slowly started backing up into your bedroom, laying down on the bed, you took off your shirt. You smiled as he walked even closer to you.

"Hey it's 'The Best Sex You've Ever Had' what can I get you?" Fermin moved up his hand to his ear and pretended to talk into a microphone.

"I think I'd enjoy missionary," You smiled cheekily and Fermin nodded his head. He pulled his shirt off and after you both were naked, he got on top of you, admiring your body while he teased your entrance with his tip.

You threw your head back as he pushed inside you and you felt his dick twitch against your walls.

Then he slowly began to pull out and push in again. He repeated that for a whole while and eventually also added to your overstimulation by rubbing your clit. You both came at the same time and Fermin collapsed on top of you. Howver you convinced him that it's totally fine to do another round. So he oushed inside of yiu again, it didn't take long for him to feel on edge. "I'm about to come." He groaned while closing his eyes shut.

"Come inside me Fermin." You told him to which he just responded with a low and silent groan.

"Fuck, I love you" Fermin whispered without thinking and suddenly you immediately stopped moaning and looked at him still pumping his dick in and out of you.

"What?" You asked and took Fermins jaw to make him look up at you. He stopped his movements and looked up at you.

"What did you say?" Your voice sounding unsure, in that second Fermin realised what he said and his eyes widened.

"Nothing" He tried to ignore you and went back to thrusting inside of you, harder and faster this time but you stopped him again.

"Fermin stop, talk to me." You told him and he immediately stopped again. "What did you say?"

"Nothing"

"Shit Fermin I know you said I love you." You told him while you sat up and pulled a blanket over your legs.

Fermin opened his mouth but no words came out. He had to think everything he wanted to say through. "I don't know why, it's just- its just everytime I look at you I get this funny feeling." He explained, while the only thing you did was cover your mouth with your hand and look to the side.

"Fer we agreed to sex onl-" You began but he cut you off.

"Obviously we did, do you think I chose to fall inlove with you when you're literally leaving for Poland soon?" Fermin raised his voice a bit which made you look back at him.

"I don't know what to say honestly." You shrugged your shoulders and then looked away again.

"Listen I-" This time you cut off Fermin.

"I think you should go home." You told him and Fermins mouth opened slightly. He looked away for a second before making eye contact with you again.

"But-" He began but then stopped mid sentence. "Okay, I'll see you later." He gave you a faint smile while he grabbed his things and went towards the door. You flashed him an awkward smile and then watched him leave the bedroom.

THE NEXT DAY

"You have to tell him that you like him too." Luca whispered to you and you raised your head immediately to cover up his mouth with your hand.

"Are you mentally alright? Don't say that when he's right across the room?!" You whispered back aggressively and he laughed a little bit.

"Why won't you tell him though, you got the conformation that he loves you back." Luca still tried to convince you ans eventually you released an annoyed sigh.

"I'm afraid to start something with him that I cannot finish if I have to go back to Poland soon" You said and Luca furrowed his brows while he thought of a solution.

"Just stay here then" He shrugged his shoulders as he suggested. Your eyes widened and you gave him a look.

"You think its that easy? I dont have the money to live here, let alone afford something anywhere in the world." You admitted to which Luca reacted with a smile.

"Ask him to stay at his place until you can afford your own." Your classmate turned his head to face you and you looked back at him.

"You're not completely sane, I'm telling you." You mumbled while shaking your head, he laughed a little bit at your words.

You sighed deeply and then looked at Fermin across the classroom who was writing something on his paper. "I will talk to him."

"Hey Fer," Fermin turned around as soon as he heard you call his name. "can we talk?" You asked.

"Yeah, what's up" Fermin seemed closed off to you, he was even a bit awkward when talking to you.

"Can we go back to your place maybe? Just somewhere private." You suggested and he quickly nodded, then he turned around and you both got into his car. This is not the first time people from uni see you getting into Fermins car.

The drive to his place was quiet, awkward and uncomfortable. Not only for you but for him too. So when you arrived at his place, immediately you went inside and sat down on his couch. You weren't at his place that often because he preferred to stay at yours rather than at his.

So when he sat down next to you, you let out a heavy sight but he cut you off before you were able to even begin talking.

"I'm sorry, I know falling in love with you was a mistake when we agreed to only have sex, but you're so-" Fermin rushed his words until you said something.

"I love you too." Fermin however ignored you and kept talking.

" but you're so loveable and you always make me smile and- wait... what?" Fermin realized what you just told him, you wore a cheeky smile on your lips as his jaw dropped.

"You love me too?" He questioned to which you responded with a nod. "You love me too!" He jumped up in joy and opened up his arms. You smiled while standing up and hugging him back. He kept swinging with you in his arms from side to side and you couldn't help but smile.

"That means I can't let you go back to Poland." Fermin pulled back by an inch to look at you.

"If you'll ask me to, I'll never visit Poland again."

Here it is (finally) the reference sheet for my au, "It's a Complicated Equation".

Plot

While this au is pretty similar to the original timelines, there are several noticable differences that sets it apart. Unlike other aus, events took place in such a way that the apocalypse never occurred. Meaning that the turtles were never traumatized, nor ever met Casey Jones.

Another difference is that Lou Jitsu never raised the children. Being a superstar for all his life, Lou Jitsu just didn't want or have what it took to be a parent. At a young age, the Turtle tots were just dumped somewhere in a rain soaked cardboard box, while Lou Jitsu set out to find new fortune and glory in the Hidden City.

(Still a work in progress. Im not going to give everything away just yet :3)

Character Bios

Donnie: Medical special needs child. Literally lost an arm in a fight or something, and now doesn't go on missions anymore with the bros. He does make inventions to help his siblings tho, and is actually best buddies with Kendra (they met at April's school when they were a lot younger, and ended up bonding over their shared favorite color, Purple, and their higher brain power. These two will literally kill for each other, lol). Even if he doesn't show it, Donnie actually wants to be hugged and/or loved and appreciated, he just doesn't know how to ask for it. He has a bad(?) habit of imprinting on parent aged adults. When he's attached to someone, he will do anything to make them like him.

Mikey: Sweet innocent child/master of psychological manipulation. Ever since he discovered his mystic powers, he has had a very good understanding and control over them. Donnie created him a pair of gloves to protect his hands while using his powers. They also limit and measure the amount of energy he is using, so that he doesn't use too much, or hurt himself. Lastly, they carry sedatives in the case that Mikey loses control and needs to be stopped. Mikey is loved by all his siblings. But he can be a real gremlin when he wants to, knowing that he can get away with it.

Leo: Due to the way this universe happened, the events leading up to the krang invasion happened in such a way that the key was lost, and never recovered. Meaning that Leo never had to really mature and take it leadership. Unlike many other poor Leonardos, Leo is able to be his carefree, joking, self-confident little self. He takes his big brother role seriously, being lovingly protective, and annoying, to his two little bros. Seriously though, he would do anything the protect the younger turtles of the group. If Mikey is hurt or sad, he's right there. If Donnie is getting picked on, he is more than willing to beat up who ever the jerk is. He loves his family with a passion.

Raph: When they were just children, Lou Jitsu ended up abandoning them, deciding the job of parenting was too much for a recently mutated actor. Besides, there was still glory to get in this new Hidden City. This forced Raph to take up the role of caretaker and parent at a very young age. He has successfully raised his three siblings all on his own, and although they still see him as their brother, the other turtles affectionately refer to him as 'Mama Raph'.

lots of pokemon stuff i hope you like it :) this is a looooooooooong post

Originally these were just design mashups, at least, that was the plan for my "redesigns"... but it really made me realize how little they change Red throughout the generations. hence why he looks VERY similar to his canon design, i just added some things i guess. for Blue i could go absolutely ham with things i wanted in his design since there's so much to choose from. the fang idea comes from my friend. also, these are pretty much used for an AU based off of the RG project romhack by @shima-draws (i hope tagging is okay aaa) bc i played it with my friend and we really liked it and it converted him into a pokemon fan and namelessshipper :) In the end we made our own AU based off of it because other characters got thrown into it. we're continuing the timeline in soul silver :p

Here's a design for Leaf, she's Red's sister in my headcanon, i again went for the design mashup thing so that's why she looks like a mashup of Green and Leaf. i don't have much to say here....

Then there's some designs i can't show but it's for the reason that they are just human + trainer versions of sonic exes (not joking, i wish i was. my friend dragged them into our mini-roleplays, only two and they were Red's traveling companions and later Kris's too.)

Then here's a redesign inspired by other Daisy designs. dunno why but i just wanted her to be pink....

And drew Red and Blue in alola. married dudes -w- Just in general my headcanon is that Red collects keychains, he probably has boxes worth of keychains and puts different ones on his bag every day, he even did this as a child he just didn't stop even into adulthood. Still a kid at heart with his silly keychains more headcanon rambles: Blue hates the cold but loves the warmth and Red loves the cold and hates the warmth. please put him into a freezer he can't handle the heat of alola- also yeah i know i messed up the number on Red's shirt, i learned how to draw 96 after this, i promise

And now we get to Pokemon Soul Crystal,,, which is just pokemon soul silver but with a patch that makes Lyra into Kris lol

Here she is!! i tried incorporating some bits from Lyra and her comfy outfit is based off of Gold i swear i love Kris's design in canon, the hair is a lil funky tho so i made the pigtails a bit shorter and poofier

then we got Silver here... again not much change, i love his design, i just wanted to add some moon details bc why not

I'll batch these together! here's some redesigns for the OG trio for Soul Crystal

Blue is supposed to look like he's been crying (sorry Blue :C) Red just makes me think of pokepastas im sorry, once he gets off mt. silver he'll get a haircut. Leaf is just. i dunno, i don't really know how to characterize her... she cares a lot about people but she's kinda bitchy about it. tough love i guess.. I think after soul crystal is over i'll get working on an continuation of that that isn't tied to a game where she gets more of an important role so i can work on her character. Blue is wearing lots of reds/warmer tones cause why not and Red is supposed to wear lots of blues/colder tones to give a little bit of a connection i guess.

Now, here's the final drawing before i show shitpost stuff, this was drawn with a drawing tablet rather than a mouse like usual

lines are a little funky but i like how this looks, i just need a bit more practice, i'm rusty on drawing with a pen

some rambles about gillion trans headcanons and other stuff

im realizing that i write these posts because i have no one to talk about riptide with, so this is like a monolog that is meant to be a dialog? sort of? the point is, the thought process is unpredictable and this is just everything that goes through my head and not like a structural point or anything and some things are random and not uhhh pretty(?). i dont even know why im writing these disclaimers, no one cares probably?

anyway. so, if gillion was a trans man, how would that work?

did he know from the young age, before the elders even, that he was a boy? was it just an obvious thing for him and his family? was he loved and accepted? and when the elders took him away, did they accept him as well? did they even see him for a kid/a person he was, or did they only think about the prophecy and didn't care what gender The One was? when gillion got older, did he get his top surgery inside the walls of the palace without anyone questioning him or looking down upon? or did he have to sneak out? probably definitely not sneak out, im not sure gillion ever left the palace or seen the world outside much. did he even get top surgery?

that's an interesting question to me actually, because if tritons (in this campaign at least) hatch from eggs, do females even have bigger boobs? technically no, right? do they even have boobs? i mean, they do have chest muscles and stuff, but do they have nipples? the one time i drew gill without a shirt i didn't draw him any, so im gonna say "no" for now. sorry im huge bore when it comes to these types of questions, i don't even know why actually... is it weird?

uhh what was i talking about... so i guess yeah, if female and male tritons don't have that different of a body structure, gillion probably didn't even need a top surgery to begin with. and maybe he didn't experience much in terms of dysphoria, which honestly? good for him, he had enough going on already...

but if gillion wasn't trans before the elders? if he was fine with his gender, he was only five after all, he had better fiveyearold things to worry about. what happened after he was taken away? was it his own realization, just at an older age?

or was it forced on him by the elders? (its definitely a darker concept and would be out of character for the elders, but as an alternative universe I think its interesting as well). because "the chosen one", the hero of the prophecy, the one who will decide the fate of the world and who will protect the undersea, in the eyes of the elders could've only be a man (if they were misogynistic). and when they come to this family and they see a 5 y.o. girl, what can they feel except disappointment? they will try anyway though, because what are they supposed to do? and if they need a man for a prophecy they will get him one way or another...

again, a darker concept, and i think i like it like an au better than a headcanon for the main campaign. because it's ooc and brings up slightly different topics from the original.

at the end i think i wont headcanon gill as trans? (although who knows, maybe I'll come around eventually, we'll see) maybe as nonbinary or a secret third thing though. gillion to me doesn't feel like a "man" man, his gender is "a guy" i don't know how to explain it hdgsbbs (maybe im just projecting idk o_o)

I love it when people hc him as trans tho, its very sweet!!!!!!! and i believe he does have the top surgery scars in the official art? so like, pop off king lets go???? (actually i just checked and no he doesn't, but im gonna think he does anyway)

im a little scared to re read this post and i think i'll delete it later probably, but uhhh yeah... again, just rambling and thinking out loud (not out loud but you get what i mean. writing all this down or drawing something really helps me to think and figure things out, so that's why)

my friend and i have an entire team of foxhole OCs and its so funny how clearly you can see our ravens bias bc the team captain is a huge riko fan and the Definately Not team captain is a jean fan, and their coach is a former raven

The St Felix Lynxes (we are not american and simply refused to go with a real school)

(This isnt my art but they dont really have social media. They told me to link to their artfight- all art in this post is theirs)

The dynamic here is that 01 (Priore Marino) was the captain and then just. disappeared. So 05(Roman Denar) took over as captain and played the whole last year as captain - and their stuff is set in the fox timeline and theyre from the ravens old district so Denar is pretty excited about this next year because now that the ravens have switched, they have a chance to go further. He's excited for his second year as captain -- and on the first training session of the new year, Priore walks in, demands he strips so he can take his number back and humiliates him in front of everyone

02 (Marco Bianchi) and 08 (Noah Baker) are Priore's backliner bodyguards essentially and make sure Denar does as he's told. Marco disappeared with Priore but Noah stayed (Priore went home to Italy but nobody is sure why. im also not sure why, these OCs are from 2020 and i cant seem to find any note of what he was doing. he did get top surgery while he was gone tho)

Coach is really awful (Affectionate) because being trained in the nest does things to a guy. he's an alcoholic, hes a bastard and he wont let any of his players kill each other but only really stops priore when he makes denar late for practice

Coach was originally a lynx, got scouted into the ravens and did the rest of his collage career there, ended up too traumatised to want to go pro so went back to the lynxes as a coach Priore didn't get into Edgar Allen so came to St Felix because Coach used to be a raven, its the best he can get (priore idolises and resents the ravens)

Some of the others Not including coach i think we ended up with 7 fleshed out players but we wanted them to be a team of 15 (i have other art of 'mine' but its old and i dont like it lmao)

as a team they have the shortest shorts in class 1 exy

We made it a point that Priore wasn't mafia bc we wanted to be slightly less edgy than the books. but there is art like this so idk if we succeeded in that

romcoms might not be my favorite but im a sucker for cute couples, especially if they are LGBTQ+

psychological horror is excellent, one of my favorites (even if i'd never dare to write it)

depictions and representations of mental health is probably the thing that's most consistent throughout my work? maybe its just the psych major talking but i find that stuff endlessly fascinating

i've lived in various places overseas for most of my life, so i enjoy stories set in unique locations absolutely DRENCHED in culture!!

current projects

i feel a bit awkward sharing these because again, i'm not a great writer, but i like reading about other writeblr's projects so i figured i'd give other people the option of seeing mine! warning for pretentious titles for very straightforward and basic concepts

WIP - flowers that mean "we'd miss you" - a short story I wrote while testing out subtext, character dynamics and prose!! the basic run-down is that a boy wakes up in the hospital and now he and his friends have to navigate a very difficult conversation. the subject matter definitely requires a content warning, and it has a few gaps i still need to fill, but overall i really like the direction it's headed!! out of all of these projects, it's probably the one i have the least issues with.

in the ataraxis of aftermath - this one is a novel i wrote for NaNoWriMo 2020! it is post-apocalyptic with elements of fantasy, slice-of-life, and romance, specifically lgbtq+ romance. it's about a girl exploring what remains of her flooded city when she suddenly finds another survivor. despite the genre, this novel is very slow-paced and calm, relying more on the character dynamics and emotional journey of the protagonist instead of traditional story beats and plotlines!! i finished the whole first draft that november (and without any real outline to guide me, so altogether it's a bit of a mess), and i plan on rewriting it after i finish the two following projects!!

WIP - the owl's wish - originally intended as a short story for just a friend and i, this project is quickly expanding into a full-on novel!! it's a haikyuu!! fanfic, but i've been told that the story is well enough removed from the show that it can work even if you don't that context. the only summary i can give without spoilers is that it's about an owl spirit with amnesia who finds a friend, and together they set off to get their wishes granted by the mysterious Lady of the Yellow Springs (but it's about more than that, i promise ;) ). it's set in ancient japan, and i referenced a few traditional fairytales when drawing up the outline, but otherwise it's a completely original folktale that can hopefully be accessible to anyone who picks it up!!

WIP - currently titled ouroboros paradox - this is a novel i am currently plotting, so honestly i'm not so sure how much i can say!! this is a fantasy novel coming from my intense passion for large creatures, horror elements, and norse mythology. as far as i know now, the story will follow two protagonists in the city of jörmungandr - one from the past and one in the present - as they try to navigate life, religion and ethics in a world where murdering living beings lengthens your lifespan. i plan on finishing my outline before this november, so i can try to hit 50K for nanowrimo this year!!

I have OPINIONS but im not going to voice them here, its not the post. I can say though, they are very negative.

Essencially what you need to know:

Pm fired a CG artist because of their political views relating to a retweet which happened around 5 years ago (the artist is relativley young while being an adult, they looked into the artists past which... taking teenagers actions into account while judging an adult should only happen when the teen commited terrible crimes) due to them getting a lot of hate from the korean side of the community which apparently spiraled from them getting a wetsuit ish and not a bikini ish among other things like update direction. And yes, it started on an incel forum, at least screenshots say so.

The political views are centered around feminism which is viewed negativley in south korea due to their extreme views and actions. If you want to see their state or mind when it comes to feminism, check the tumblr post made by: @fatestayyuri on this situation.

All 3 games are being currently review bombed by angry korean fanbase and by the angry western fanbase

Evidence of death threats given to PM are given out in a comment made by @worthy-opponents as well as the stance of the attacking group.

(I apologise about putting it in the wrong section yet again, this situation is going off like hell and I can barely keep up weeding out actual useful information out of the useless shite, will take the blame tho, ain’t trying to wipe the blame or anything, again sorry if I insulted you in any way that wasn’t my intent)

Note and edit: the original target of the cyberbully attack was the artist who was actively responsible for drawing the ish wetsuit artwork, however upon discovering the artist is male, the attack switched to Vellmori due to her deleted feminism driven retweets. The lack of sexualisation of wetsuit ish is seen as radical feminism by the group who decided to start such an attack. Which is why they decided to target Vellmori. Note. These retweets were deleted around 3 years ago and recovered using the wayback machine.

Another note: there is no winner in this situation, the group did threaten project moon with physical violence if they did not remove Vellmori. PM already had to deal with death threats from the Asian fanbase before when LoRs ending happened if you remember that situation. They didn’t want to risk actual physical harm to their employees. I am only stating the information as I find it not trying to influence your view on the situation. I just want you to make a rational decision.

Yet another note: The biggest PM server on discord went into lockdown due to spreading misinformation.

Theres currently a bunch of hashtags made on twitter to bring the opinion of the fanbase to PMs attention. These tags are (but not limited to): #PM_FaceTheTruth, #PM_unfairdismissal. Previous hashtags included: #Projectmoon_unfairdismissal_Protests, #Truck_Protest_Against_Unfair_Dismissal_of_ProjectMoon. There were many more, an account that started these hashtags as well as the organiser of the truck protest: (x)

Vellmori being a terf. It’s a misinformation campaign targeted specifically to the English part of the fanbase because of the feminist retweet’s.
