it had become a habit of mine to buy my girlfriend flowers everytime i saw her, and as much and nick and chris bullied me for it, i didn’t care, she deserved to be spoiled.
i was going over to hang out with her today, making my usual stop to target to pick up the flowers. once i had arrived, i used my spare key to get in.
“baby?” no response.
i made my way to her bedroom, softly knocking before slightly opening the door to peak in.
“hi baby!” y/n spoke.
“hi love,” i responded, kicking my shoes off and sitting on her bed while handing her the flowers.
“oh matt, they’re beautiful, thank you so much.” she smiled, placing her hand in my hair and kissing my cheek.
“i need to use the bathroom, we can put then in water after.” she walked to the bathroom before shutting the door.
her phone was on the bed, pinging like crazy. i picked it up, planning to put it on silent.

“i hope you and him enjoy your date tonight, because im leaving.” i grabbed the flowers and went to put my shoes on.
“matt he’s my fucking brother! he’s picking me up for a family dinner!” she yelled, tears brimming her waterline. “i can’t believe you wouldn’t trust me, did you really think i would do that to you?!” she cried, rushing out of the room. “baby wait, i didn’t mea-“ i was cut off by the front door slamming.

i decided not to bother her, instead getting in my car and going on a drive to clear my head. about an hour or so had passed, and i pull into my driveway and grab my phone.

maybe i’m misunderstanding this whole conversation (and i truly apologize if i am, i got into the hrpf sphere post kane era and i don’t want to seem confrontational here) but isn’t it fair for people to not want to write about people who have been accused of/investigated for s/a?? i’m on board with everything else mentioned in that long post but that one just. didn’t sit with me right. kane being accused of assault isn’t really him being Messy it was a criminal allegation and warrants isolation from fandom works (imo). i just feel we can be more honest about the fucked up less woobifyed reality of hockey without making kane the mascot for it (if that makes sense, sorry)
i think i both agree with you and think you might be misinterpreting that post a little bit?
okay first, what i saw from that addition had a lot less to do with kane Specifically and was a lot more about him as an example of... generally two different kind of movements, if that makes sense? (the "these are horrible people" trend vs the cleaner one, which sid was the leading example of.) im also taken to believe that pre allegations he was the most popular character within that circle and that the allegations caused people (rightfully) to not want to write about him anymore, which created a dramatic drop in that movement as a whole because of his popularity.
also from what i understand he wasn't exactly the only-distantly-problematic idealized fic character before that specific case either, he's had more than one run in with the law (arrested iirc for assaulting a cab driver over a ridiculously small amount of money, in one case at least)
i also want to post this anon bc it's kind of along the same lines
which i believe supports both the make-hrpf-nastier and the general character/person separation that is pretty much mandatory when you're writing rpf. i think we have to be careful as a rule because of this all-too common trap to idealize and woobify protagonists, and in this fandom where none of the "characters" are innocent that the nuance of understanding, empathizing with, and being entertained by someone who has thoroughly soul-sucking things wrong with them is imho important. kane's Actual Straight Up Sucking As A Person, To An Extent Beyond Everyone Else makes him a really good example and I hope that kind of clarifies why he was/is such a big part of the discussion?
okay back to agreeing. kane is absolutely incredibly awful in multiple different ways and everyone has a right to filter his tag and tell him he's a little bitch if they meet him irl (actually this one is a responsibility as well) and press the block button on my account personally if I mention him ever again if they so choose. also don't buy his jersey he makes money from that! and i do regret using him as a term to put the gore back into hrpf (and i think that I'll go back and edit that). and personally i will probably never write about him beyond a mention, or read stuff he's in that's not like a million years old.
but i also think that people should be able to engage in those themes if they want -- i think we as people have the right to make art that other people find morally reprehensible and i think we as people have the right to not involve ourselves with stuff that we find morally reprehensible.

tbh tho at the time i was doing that shit i WAS um.. pretty (does that twirly finger thing around my head????) at the time of making those baitposts. I dont mind ppl finding my idenity now because ik thats just another annoying fuck i dont have to talk to.. ever! i just dont send it HERE cause.. well.. thats too easy <3
I thought that ppl were gonna harass me to no end, and tbh i DID get some.. really.. fucked up anons from just being annoying back then and ig i thought itd go to my fr account too. (racism, death threats, ableism, and MORE! this starter pack rocks!)

Your manager had always been harsh. Even at the early stages of your business relationship, he’d yell and insult you. But you were so young, it was hard to understand it. You just thought that it was normal, and even thought you didn’t like it, you sucked it up.
The first time he hit you, was when you talked back. It was in your very early teens, when you had started feeling a little rebellious. He was yelling about a failed audition, when you said that “it hardly mattered” and that you “find something new”.
He slapped you across the cheek and whispered with gritted teeth, that you should never ever talk back to him again. You didn’t. And you didn’t tell anyone, because you’d convinced yourself this was something all actors and actresses went through. When your manager realised you weren’t telling anyone, he started hitting you regularly, releasing whatever frustrations he had on you.
It was only recently you’d become aware that it wasn’t okay. You always wondered if it was right to feel so sad and broken and worthless, especially around a manager. You found out that abuse from managers was not normal. And it was bad.
But at that point, what could you do? Would anyone believe you? I mean, he’d been your manager for almost a decade! Could you tell him? Would he be angry? Would your parents be angry? Were you overreacting?
There was too much doubt in your mind, so you just kept it in, and took whatever insults and violence he gave you.
“God, Y/n. You can’t go around forgetting lines like that? Practice, practice, practice. God, you’re such a stupid fucking bitch. Can’t even remember a line. A goddamn line. And it’s your job. People must think you’re a fucking idiot. You can’t even hide your idiocy around professionals? You’re pathetic.”
This was nothing new to you. It still hurt nonetheless. You stood still, looking at the floor. There was a slight shake to your body, and you flinched each time he made a big gesture.
“Repeat your lines, Y/n. Repeat the next scenes lines!” he looked at you with those mean eyes. His fist was closed - something that made you aware of the consequences if you would not answer correctly.
“Um..” you swallowed. Your voice was weak and small, tears pooling in your eyes. You felt pathetic. “L-Loki! Don’t. You-You can’t do this to me. You don’t have to.”
Silence followed your unsure voice, except for the impatient and angry tapping of your manager’s foot. “Go on.”
“Oh- Uh.. That’s not how- That’s not how I feel. Can’t you- Um.. No wait- Don’t you understand tha-”
Before you could correct your mistake, he interrupted you. First came the sound, a loud, unforgiving slap. Then the pain, staticky and pulsing. Then the tears and the hand that went to your cheek to hold it.
“You fucking idiot!” he spat. You were hyperventilating, as he barked in your face, furious like you wouldn’t believe. He raised his hand again, holding it for a moment, to watch sickly, as you trembled and closed your eyes, readying yourself for another slap.
It didn’t come. It didn’t come and you didn’t dare open your eyes. It could be another trick. You just stood there, shaking and doubled over, with arms in front of you.
“Oh! T-Tom! How long have you been there?”
Huh?
You peaked open your eyes, to see your manager, his head turned to the entrance. He had an intense fake smile on his lips, and had his hands in his pockets. You looked over in shock, and indeed, your co-star and friend, Tom, stood there, paralysed.
He was angry. Eyebrows furrowed, nostrils flaring, and body tense. It was written all over him. It was something you so instinctually associated with punishment, which was why when he marched over angrily, you flinched and clamped up, thinking, for some reason, that he would hit you.
Again there was silence. Tom stood, fist raised to your manager, breath like fire. But then he saw you. Hurt and scared. Thinking that he would hit you. While it only made him angrier at your manager, it also made him want to focus more on you. He, reluctantly, put down his fist.
He snaked his arm around your shoulder and pulled you to him. His eyes didn’t leave your managers. Your manager knew he was caught. He was quiet now, waiting for Tom’s reaction.
“I’m gonna take Y/n out of here. Help them calm down, comfort them. Then I’m going to report you to the police and you’re going to go to prison.” Tom said calmly, but his voice was shaking. There was one, almost infinite moment, of relentless eye contact and intense air. Tom let go of the anger and turned around, guiding you away from that monster.
He stopped. “You fucking scumbag,” he spat, and then disappeared behind the door with you.
Meanwhile you’re crying. No, sobbing. Shaking and hardly walking, sniffling and your heart is pounding. It was both relief and terror. What would happen now? What would your parents do? What would your co-stars and friends think? It was all too much.
“Shh,” Tom whispered, pulling you into a different room. It was seemingly an empty breakroom. He squatted down in front of you, and shushed you again.
He was frowning, as he wiped your tears away, gentle on the cheek that had been slapped. “It’s okay. It’s okay, Y/n. I got him away. He’s not gonna hurt you anymore.”
Slowly, Tom calming voice pulled you down, down to a place where he could communicate with you.
“Thank you,” you croaked. Tom smiled sadly.
“No need, sweetheart. I need to know a couple of things before I can report him, is that okay?”
Tom went on to ask you several things, all the while hugging you and reassuring you. Complimenting you. It was tough. It was everything you feared, but it was good. It was nice, nicer than you could have ever imagined, the feeling of letting it all out.
And even if it was hard at times, in court, with parents, media, friends, Tom always stayed right there with you, supporting you through the hard parts.
“It’s okay, Y/n. It’s going to be okay.”
And it really felt like it would. Especially, with Tom right there with you. It would be okay.

this fic is special to me for multiple reasons. for one, it’s my first ever actual participation in a fandom event, which i’m quite proud of because i usually chicken out when it comes to fandom events. secondly, i managed to completely steer away from angst and keep this completely cutesy and fluffy, which is kinda remarkable for me. third, but definitely not last, vampire AUs have a very special place in my heart and i finally managed to write one that im proud of!
2. and now my heart’s been stolen - samtony, mcu, post tws, pre-slash to slash, 5k, G
Post TWS - Sam finds out that HYDRA bombed his apartment in retaliation for helping Captain America, and accepts Tony Stark's generous offer to move into Avengers Tower in New York. He slots in effortlessly with the team, except for one glaring problem: Tony Stark hates him.
It makes Sam's growing crush on the genius extremely inconvenient.
samtony is actually a ship that’s super special to me, but ive only ever written tiny drabble on tumblr for, so this fic was a big surprise for me. it was one of those fics that just poured out of me, continuously, and i didn't even know i could write that much until i wrote that much, and i was rly lucky that it was well received and that this was the fic that introduced some people to samtony!
3. the memories bring back (you) - buckytony, mcu, soulmates AU, 1000 lives ‘verse 6.5k, T
“Mission: Extraction and Execution. Primary Target: Super-soldier serum,” the Asset intones, “Secondary Target: Howard Stark. Collateral: Maria Stark.”
Tony inhales a sharp breath, exhaling in a splutter like he’s being choked, but the Handler pays him no mind, so the Asset continues.
“Serum extracted at 0200 hours. Secondary target neutralised. Collateral neutralised. Return to base at 0500 hours. Mission successful.”
The Handler nods, once at the Asset, and another time, more firmly, at Tony.
“Like I said,” the Handler says to Tony, “you never know what you have until it’s gone.” Tony doesn’t seem to be paying the Handler any mind, instead glaring at the Asset, and doesn’t even notice when the Handler leaves the room. There’s an outwardly calm that’s overtaken Tony that it is stark contrast to the way he was shivering with anger, and yet, the Asset does not think he is actually calm, not in the slightest.
“You killed my mother, you son of a bitch,” Tony finally murmurs, “I’m gonna rip your heart out and feed it to you.”

i feel kinda guilty adding this knowing that there’s a sequel that ive promised that i haven’t delivered on yet (im working on it guys i really am) but i really got the opportunity to delve into bucky’s psyche here a bit and flesh out little details i had dropped into 1000 lives so i rly enjoyed writing it
4. begin again - samtony, modern AU, single dad tony, teacher sam, pre-slash to slash, 9.9k, G
Sam never imagined himself as an elementary school teacher.
(Or, after the Air Force, after Riley, Sam becomes a teacher. And then he meets Lila Rhodes. And Lila Rhodes' Dad. And Stuff Happens.)

this fic is another fic that just snuck up on me, because i really just was going to write a tiny drabble to answer the prompt, but basically what happened was i got rly worked up about racism. the thing is right, in modern AU fics, there’s always this deep nuanced explanation for why bucky is working the night shift as a guard for SI or how tony quit his job and became a dancer or when steve opened his flower-shop and its always rly fun to read and helps the reader get into the universe - but then sam and rhodey just fit into the universe because ✨ reasons ✨. and yeah, a part of that is because those fics aren’t centred around sam and rhodey, but even characters like peter and natasha and wanda get these deep in-universe backstories, but ned and mj and kamala are just, slotted in.
i dont think its intentional, but a lot of authors are happy to write poc characters into their AUs for the sake of a character, without actually bothering to delve into why that character is there. like steve owns a flowershop because his mother taught him flower language when he was a kid and he hated violence and sam works the counter because he is (checks notes) steve’s friend. i’m not saying that sam can’t work the counter, but it would be nice if some nuance was given to why he’s working the counter instead of just being a therapist like he canonically is. and thats how you arrive at the conclusion that sam is working the counter because if he’s a therapist with his own life then he can’t serve his narrative purpose of being steve’s bestfriend - which if you think about it, is basically just the black bestfriend type deal.
and when i started writing this fic, i realized i was doing the same thing. it was conveniently narratively for sam to be a teacher, but where i was giving tony a proper backstory on how he became a single dad, i wasnt giving sam the same nuance. and it was important to me that i didnt fall into this pitfall, so i reworked the fic to build a narrative around sam the school teacher, and it became this massive piece, and im truly so proud of this fic i can’t even explain it
5. just let the feeling grow - mcdanno, hawaii 5 o, established relationship, 1.4k, T
Danny finds the ring three days after Steve buys it.
for those who haven’t watched hawaii 5 0 (btw please go watch h50, it’s so worth it), one of the major running themes is danny’s relationship with his ex wife, rachel. even though they never officially get back together, she’s someone he frequently falls into bed with, and they even have two kids together. in typical fandom fashion, this means that in most mcdanno fics, she’s quite villainized. even though i dont agree with everything she’s done, i have always found rachel to be a refreshingly complex character and always had a bit of a soft spot for her. another major recurring theme is, due to the tumultuous nature of his relationship with rachel, danny is a bit of a commitment-phobe.
i was going to do a character study type fic where i looked into what the breakdown of his marriage had meant for how danny views relationship and views marriage in general (in the light of a possible second marriage with steve), but then, as you can see from the wordcount, i got a bit lazy and just wrapped it all up in a thousand or so words. despite that, i am still proud of this fic, bc i think i touched on a couple important things, and most importantly - i get to say i added some good vibes into a fandom that is so quick to demonize its female characters

5. RE: BJD Divaz
I’ve been a customer of BJD Divaz since they first started, when it was only run by Chart3rline. I even contacted other BJD companies trying to persuade them to work with Divaz as their US representative. Most declined because they didnt like D's commission fee, but I was able to persuade a few of them.
I asked them to purchase a doll off DOA because I couldnt afford the asking price, and while they did, I found out later that instead of agreeing to purchase the seller's price, they negotiated the price to be lower. This significantly cheaper price was not passed down to me. I paid the full price +the commission fee based on that full price. I am disappointed I was not told this. This is when I stopped viewing them as a "friend" and instead, as a business. I dont hold this against them, it’s context to what Im going to say later.
I’ve stopped purchasing from D after my recent order from them. This company usually takes 3 or less months to make a doll. I’ve ordered the doll from D and it took 11 months. They let me know it arrived to them in March and that it will be shipped soon, except it only shipped on July, and only after I sent them several "reminder" emails. Before people in the comments try to put the blame on me for not sending a reminder soon, please keep in mind that I acknowledged the email in March and confirmed everything and they keep stressing to not send them emails because they are busy, I’ve emailed once every month since. I’ve since switched to ACBJD and Ive been happy with communication and the dolls ordered. I imagine ACBJD gets the same amount of emails, but they dont berate their customers if they email more than once.
I regret when people wanted a D0llshe, but not deal with him, I always recommended D. I would warn people of ordering directly and instead go through D. They assured buyers they would be handling communication and all the efforts so they wouldnt worry, except they didn’t. A person that I’ve recommended D to, who surpassed 2 years, keeps messaging me for help because D wouldnt reply to their emails. She is respectful, sweet and a timid person, not a Karen. This person, emailed D without a reply so would email a week later, only to be told that their email would be pushed down to the bottom if emailed again. No response, so she goes to FB and IG, who both tell her to email because they arent the person running orders. Finally got a response that they would get their refund, after D0llshe sends D's payment, but minus the PP fees. 3 months later and theres no refund, only a promise of them getting it later. Why is the customer missing out on fees when they have no doll? Customer emails d0llshe and he says he cant offer refund, because they didn’t order through them, which is understandable, but when all options are out for a customer, do you blame them for chargebacks?
If anyone files a chargeback, D will be blacklisting them from every company they rep, as in blacklisting you from buying direct from those companies. I urge everyone who has negative experiences with D to email the companies they rep instead of venting on confession blogs, and writing your experiences on social media. Make it count and send letters to the companies they represent, and please provide proof because they will try to make you out to be a liar.
Speaking of, they made vague posts on cl0ver singing for charging paypal fees, and that they offer guarantees as an official dealer, except when offering refunds, to non delivered products I might add, they are keeping the fees, and offered no help with d0llshe, even before they ended their dealership with them. Someone on DOA was told to not email them unless the wait time surpassed 1.5 years. They are even so petty that they post screenshots with the full name and address (dox) of the customer on purpose and then delete it out a day later as if they just realized their "mistake".
Before you try to make excuses for them about the fires, keep in mind, I am dealing with a business. The lower price negotiation with the DOA sale, I am in no way obligated to give them a pass or treat them as a friend when they made it clear that our relationship is strictly business. Their issues, are not my issues. D0lk got dragged for not shipping in time, others, including artisans, got dragged for being so late with communication and sending back refunds for cancelled orders. Why does D get to be exempt?
The supporters are the worst part of this, because of instead of being honest so D can improve, they support them for being "real". For example, look how micemage words it, to make it seem like this criticism is from one person, when there are people on addicts who didn’t have good experience. Check the bjd dealers tag here, you will see the supporters in the comments going off on any and all criticism of D. Some have sane comments, but the majority are cult like and try to identify the person venting as if it’s one person. Addicts deletes threads with criticism asking people to instead direct it to their feedback group; which lets be honest, no one is going to do because its "not that bad", and most dont want to join a new group, which is mostly dead.
This is my first and last confession on D, I’ve emailed each company they rep and told them my experience as well as contacting the 3 month wait company, with screenshots of my order, how they handled it, and the excuse they used to put blame on the company for being so late (package arrived march to D, 4 months to be shipped is on D, not the company). I’m not using company or order details because I know they are petty enough to try to identify me and publicly shame me like they have to others. This and the threat of suing is why not many people like to go public with their experience. They just keep feedback neutral, move on and never deal with again.

6. Listen, I can't take you seriously in regards to BJD!vas because you're posting on a confession blog. If you were serious, you would have posted in buyer beware groups, DoA reviews or the board to get things resolved, or you would have made a complaint to the BBB. And your language makes you come off more as someone with an agenda rather than someone who is trying to warn people. If shipping is the issue, stop buying with standard shipping and pay the extra price for express shipping. I saw one of you complain that it sat with them for 20 days; that's probably because you're not the only one and they more than likely have a queue to check and then ship out. Do mistakes happen? Yes, because we're human. I've been in this hobby for a few years now and it seems like most people know you're going to have to wait, sometimes even outside the expected wait time. And shipping something as big as a doll is a timely endeavor. I shouldn't have to say that.
My point is simply to stop complaining on an confession board and either take it to the places previously mentioned. Posting here behind the anonymous mask makes you sound like a petulant child who didn't get their way right away.

7.My only issue with BJD Divaz is how I never get any updates. Every email, they tell me to join their facebook page for status updates. I dont have a FB and I dont want to create one. I bought my doll through their website, updates should be posted on their website, or they could send me an email. That isnt asking much.

8. Since there seems to be a lot of either "completely negative everything sucks" or "everything was sunshine and rainbows" confessions about bjd!vaz I thought I'd chime in with a neutral review.
PROS
-They were always polite and professional in their emails, and gave me very detailed answers to my questions.
-I got exactly what I ordered, so no mix ups or missing parts or anything like that.
-I think them being forthcoming about personal issues (only one person on staff, illness, the flooding isue etc.) on social media is good, since it keeps customers updated as to why there might be delays.
-If you live in the US their shipping is very reasonable.
CONS
-Reply times were varied. Sometimes it could take over a week, sometimes a couple hours.
-My order took about 10mo which, when comparing to other people who ordered through the same company around the same time, was about 3x as long as if I bought it direct and 2x as long if I had gone through a different dealer. I get some of the waiting time is out of their control, but it was kind of ridiculous.
-They dont necessarily ship the same day they send you a tracking number. I wish they said something like, "Here's your tracking number, our pickup is Xday so it should start moving after that" just so I could be aware.
All in all no major complaints. I got my doll and all that. Their lone employee is clearly overwhelmed. I hope they hire another person, if only to give the one a break.
Truthfully, I most likely won't buy through them again. I'd rather pay the international shipping and go direct, than deal with the extensive wait time. I'd still recommend them to someone looking for a very long layaway, though. I paid in full, but if I had a 12mo layaway I would've never known they weren't ready to ship my doll until month 10.

Trae probably makes jokes about wanting John to wash his feet when they're high together. Trae calls John his "girlfriend" his "wifey" his "bae" you know whatever typical fuckboys use to make their tiktok gfs feel special! John is probably like "dude, im a guy." but can't help but feel his heart beating at the nicknames anyways because he is WEEK and STOOPID!!!! BUT OF COURSE they use the typical bros and dudes and mans!! John probably has to call trae "big man" or "chief" LMFAO. Draymond+Swaggy P: swaggy p will sometimes not acknowledge dray if he does not call him swaggy p*nis at least Once a month. Nick could be hanging off a cliff on the verge of falling and Draymond would extend his hand out saying "NICK!! GRAB MY HAND!!!" And nick would just cross his arms and be like "refer to me with my Full Name, Draymond." and then plummet to the void. Draymond does Not call swaggy p swaggy p*nis tho, and will be actually really glad that he gets a moment of silence from Nick's deranged fuckboyness. Nick never wins the silent games with dray. He probably ends up trying to tug on his hoodie or vandalize dray's things to try and get his attention again. ANYWAYS nick tries to get away with calling dray anything really cheesy that he THINKS is hot. Like "hello my gorgeous hobgoblin" or "hey butterfly bae 🥰🥰" and dray tells him to shut up but he secretly enjoys them LMAO. Dray probably just calls nick "swaggy" or "nick". Pat bev+Lou will: yes, I snuck them in here SHUDDUP my game MY rules!!! I think pat would be like... committing a crime .. kicking a fire hydrant and turning over cars or whatever, but then he'll hear lou call him "Patti !" and he'll suddenly stop and snuggle into his lap or somethin LMAO. Idk... I love.. the grandpas 🥰🥰 crazy man who has soft spot for destruction, crime, and lou will
Jeff teague+LeBron: LISTENLISTENLUS- OKAY. LISTEN. I love their relationship in like a FUNNY sense like.... bron really sweeped teague SO many times it's FUNNY. I like to think about them as the like... D-classed villain, who can only rob small children, declaring the strongest hero Ever as his arch nemesis... and the superhero not seeing them as a threat at ALL. LIKE WHEN TEAGUE SHOVED BRON ONCE and bron just got back up without a care LMAO. I think Teague stays up all night dreaming about one day finally like BEATING beating LeBron.. and when they meet on court he's like "your castle will be MINE as will be your CROWN and your CAVS, 'kiNg bRoN' " and LeBron just laughs, pats him on the back, and says, "okay Jeff lol" and then blows his team out by 50 points . Robin +Kris Dunn: kris probably calls Robin "old man" and "twiggy" and "birdnest brain" and a thousand other teasing words, and he smirks up at him expecting a reaction, but Robin just laughs and calls him "peanut" and kris goes home and claws off the wallpaper to his bathroom walls
Myles+ Victor oladipo: myles is a nerd so he loves when vic calls him "myles Morales" because IT'S CLEVER. and hes a geek. Victor gets called Viccy or just Oladipo ! Sometimes thingamajig !!!
Keldon+Anthony Edwards: I JUST THINK THEIR PERSONALITIES WOULD BE GOOD TOGETJER anyways I think keldon would call him "eddy!!!" While Ant prefers to call keldon like "my shawty boo Thang 🥰🥰" LMAO
Russ and kd are the classic "only call each other by the last names until something serious comes up". like maybe they pass each other in the hall. Russ with his classic head down and beady eyes to the floor stance. They don't look at each other as they exchange a cold "Westbrook." "DURANT . Bakugo x reader, Bakugo x Uraraka, Kirishima x Reader

Idea: Y/n has a secret to share with bakugo not expecting a secret from him. She leaves heart broken and attempts to move on. But how will she move on if her secret can no longer be hidden? She fakes a relationship hoping its enough to not expose the true origin of the secret. (This is a terrible summary but I cant say much without spoiling future parts. 🙃)
Earlier,
Kirishima was walking to the cafe to meet up with Bakugo. God he hoped Bakugo was actually wanting to apologize. He hated that he hated him. He wished he could hate him, but being his best friend for years, and *maybe* wanting to be more than friends with him just make it impossible to hate him. Yes, he was furious for treating you like he did because he loved you too.
When he arrives at the cafe, he takes a deep breath before entering. When he’s inside he looks for him but cant find him. Not until he sees a hobo looking man with oddly familiar hairstyle. He approaches Bakugo and notices he was not in the best place, mentally and physically.
“Bakugo” kirishima’s voice is soft but still causes Bakugo to jump.

“Fine. Continue.”
“THANK YOU! Anyways, I yell at her to leave and before she does, she said something about manipulating me into cheating on y/n. I asked how she did it but she said it was a secret. I was confused because i don’t fucking remember being manipulated in any way. But anyway, She said she only slept with me to hurt Y/n. And then she was the anonymous tip that told the news and everyone y/n was cheating on me. To hurt her.”
“Wait- URARAKA WAS THE LEAK-“ Kirishima looks pissed of as hell.
“Yes, and I did not know anything about it. After she left I fell into a depression.” Bakugo looks embarrassed to admit that.
“Shit Bakugo, is that why you look like shit?”
“I don’t look like shit, thank you very much.”
“You do.” Kirishima feels bad for Bakugo, and without thinking he asks,
“Why don’t you come live with us for a while?”
Bakugo looks taken aback and hesitates.
“Are you sure Y/N would even want me there?”
“I don’t know... but I doubt she would refuse you, especially in your state.”
Bakugo looks conflicted about the offer but finally speaks up.
“I’ll go... but only if she agrees first.” Bakugo says in hopes to be able to talk to you and apologize and take him back. No, you won’t you have Kirishima...
Kirishima, the man who stuck with him through thick and thin, until he didn’t. He really did miss you and he also missed his best friend. He knew that if he never knew you, he would have dated Kirishima, but Kirishima doesn’t like guys. And now he has you and his kid.
Kirishima nods and nervously dials your number.
When you pick up both men perk up at your voice,
“Hello? Kirishima? What’s up?”
“Hey Y/N! How was the appointment? Is Mina there? MINA WHATS THE GENDER?”
“IM NOT TELLING YOUR ASS ANYTHING, KIRISHIMA! YOU KNOW THAT!”
You laugh and shake your head, “What’s up Kiri, why’d you call?”
He’s silent and sighs, and he hears your voice ask nervously,
“Kiri?”
“Y/n.. I need to ask something of you.”
He hears silence and thinks you’ve hung up but soon hear a response,
“What is it?” You ask shakily fearing the worst.
“I- I don’t know how to phrase this but I finished talking to Bakugo.”
“How’d that go.”
“Well he told me a few things. And he does not look like he is in a good place right now...”
“Oh no...” he hears sadness in your voice.
“And I suggested him live with us for a while....”
He hears your hushed voice talking to someone else, who he assumes is Mina.
After a minute of silence he hears you speak up again and Bakugo listens closely for your response.
“Kiri... I- I- yeah, its fine...” you sound unsure.
“Y/n if you dont want him there you can say so...”
“No no, its fine...”
Bakugo’s face falls at her answer sensing how sad and unsure you sound.
“T-thank you so much Y/n” Bakugo says.
There’s silence but again you speak up, “Y-yeah anytime.”
“I gotta go Kirishima. I’ll see you and Bakugo when you both get home then”
“Bye y/n, love you and see you soon. Tell Mina I said good bye as well”
You hum in response and hang up.
Kirishima and Bakugo get up and leave the cafe and head to Bakugo’s house to pick up a few things.
When Kirishima enters his house, he notices how overwhelmingly pink it is, “I didn’t know you liked pink...”
“I hate the fucking color. That bitch decorated the house like this.”
“Oh, okay. Well if you want me to help you pack a few bags?”
“Sure, make yourself useful”
Kirishima sighs but goes into the bedroom and helps him pack clothes.
After a moment of silence Bakugo speaks up
“Thank you.”
Kirishima looks up confused and bakugo elaborates more
“Thank you for hearing me out and taking me in”
“Oh- yeah anytime”
“Did- did taking me in bother y/n?”
Kirishima thinks for a while before answering,
“I don’t think she was bothered but more taken aback by the news.”
Bakugo hums, “You asked about the gender of the baby?”
“Oh yeah- Mina and her were going today to find out the gender but Mina won’t tell us. She’s hosting a gender reveal party. But only because she wants to one up Izuku and Shoto, since they’re the god parents.”
Bakugo nods sad that you’re building a life with out him. He really misses you and misses Kirishima.
After finishing packing they head home. Bakugo pays close attention to where they turn so he remembers where you live and sees the apartments right ahead.
As they reach the apartment and walk inside, it looks two times bigger than it should.
“Oh yeah, forgot to mention, we knocked down the wall separating mine and her apartment so now its one huge apartment.”
Bakugo just nods and stares at you as you come out of the kitchen. He notices your wobbling a bit and thinks again about how you’re way to big to only be 4-5 months pregnant, but that would mean you were pregnant with his child.
“Hey guys. Do you guys want anything specific for dinner?” You ask maintaining eye contact with Kirishima.
“Um, I don’t know yet, Bakugo?”
“Huh- oh whatever you guys want...”
You purse your lips but speak again, “Here then, I’ll help take your things to your room”
As you reach for his bags he pulls them away, you glare and Kirishima hands you a bag, “Best not argue or resist against her Bakugo. She’s in the mood swing stage” Kirishima jokes and you send him a fake glare.
“Wow- Kirishima so fucking mean.”
You grab the bag and head to Bakugo’s room. Both follow you and notice you had already fixed up the room for him to his liking. You set the bag down on the bed and head out.
“I’m going to lay down for a bit Kiri, and then I’ll start dinner.”
“Take your time babe”
Both men begin to unpack and put away Bakugo’s things and once they finish they smell food and head out to see you setting the plate down.
“Good, you both are here. Dinners ready.”
They are about to sit but you stop them. “Did any of you wash your fucking hands?”
The look on their face as they get up and clean up is hilarious
As soon as they are done, the three of you sit and eat in silence.
After dinner you pick up the dishes but Bakugo insists on cleaning them as a thank you, you finally relent and sit on the couch with Kirishima. Once Bakugo finishes he lets you both know he is retiring to bed.
As soon as he walks out, you look over at Kirishima when he clears his throat.
As soon as Bakugo heard kirishima clear his throat he stands still and listened to what they were saying.
“So, Y/N does it bother you that he is here?”
You stay silent for a while before answering with a simple no.
“Y/n, are you sure? I can always tell when something is wrong...”
“It doesn’t bother me Kiri, I’m just afraid he will find out the fucking truth. I mean its not long before i POP out the kid. He will know that I lied about how far along I am... I don’t want him to know he is the fucking father-“ you says kinda loudly.
“I get it y/n, but he looked so vulnerable and alone, I couldn’t leave him like that...”
“I know baby, I wouldn’t either...”

Hi there!!! I’ve been reading your fics for a while, and I admire your writing style so much! I want to get into writing more, and was wondering if you had any advice whether that’d be on the more technical side of writing or even the more personal side regarding growth and such. Anyway, sorry it took me so long to answer this, ya girl has been through a lot the past month, but here we go.
More technical stuff? Well...
Find what is aesthetically pleasing in your writing document. What font? Line spacing? Paragraph spacing? Do you like to indent your new paragraphs? Currently, I have mine in Times New Roman, 12pt font, 1.5 line spacing, and 2.0 paragraph spacing, and it works well for me. I don’t indent my new paragraphs because it gives me a better idea of what it will look like on Tumblr as I write. It sounds silly, but honestly, just like you work better in a clean room, you’ll work better in a clean document
Never try to write an entire one-shot/chapter in one sitting. You’ll burn yourself out, Give yourself time to think about different ways that your writing can go, rewrite scenes, or different paths that a scene can take.
That being said, keep notes. I have notes on my phone (the iPhone note app) that sync to my laptop, so anytime that I don’t have easy access to my laptop or would rather type on my phone, I always have it accessible. It can be blurbs, some conversations, beginnings of stories I may or may not write.
When you’re inspired, write. When I watch Sherlock or Supernatural or reread Harry Potter, and I think something can be changed or done better, I stop and write how I would want it to go, or what I would do if I was there. It’s a good way to get into the habit of writing also learning to find your voice and learning that as a writer you have the power to change whatever you want.
For aesthetic reasons, I have found that when creating a post, people enjoy a title, what paring, a summary, an a/n, and a gif before the story. It’s a preview/trailer to what you’ve written. Make it mean something, try and grab your reader. Marketing is half the battle and the most important part of the post.
Make your summaries vaguer, even if you got a request I don’t want to read an explanatory summary of everything that happens, then I won’t read the work because I already have. Make it a question that you answer in the story that the reader also wants to know the answer to. Set the stage a bit so that the reader wants to know this new story you’ve created. It’s a trailer, not a movie review.
For personal growth...
don't be afraid to change fandoms and grow. I started in supernatural, hopped to tmnt, and now here I am at HP. I write but don’t publish Sherlock fics more because it's my own challenge (I’ll talk about that next). But your interests are going to change, don’t be afraid to pick up one fandom and leave another for the sake of growth. Sure your readers might miss you, but writing is for you, not them. And there are always more people out there willing to read better writing than the same writing.
Challenge yourself in character types. Most time I skim over Draco fics because though I love y’all, you’ve made him a simp, or the reader a simp, and it’s unrealistic. Don’t write established characters as you want them to be, but write them as they are and explore situations that might get them to change. It’s not wrong to want better for a character, but don’t get too lost in how you want things. It makes the foundation of your writing crumble. My biggest writing challenge is Sherlock because he’s so anti-emotive and all I do is emotions. It’s fun to play with different scenarios and even to see what Sherlock would do if someone like me walked into his life.
Which goes to say, have fun. Just because Draco or Sherlock might be a stick in the mud, doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun with it. What would push their buttons the most? What could they not tolerate? What would your character do that would push them over the edge? Would it end well? Or poorly? No one wants a “yes” man all the time. Create conflict and push what it means for your characters to grow
Don't be afraid to take writings from one fandom and use them in another. Draco and Sherlock are very similar and archetypes, and it goes unnoticed when I change my Sherlock fics into scenes for my Draco ones.
READ EVERYTHING YOU CAN. You’ll pick up on writing styles you like, on how certain authors express emotions and scenes. Maybe you like how one author portrays betrayal, or forgiveness, or breakups, or fluff. It’s all about learning from others and creating your own style. Pick up things here and there, leave things that you don’t quite want. Don’t be afraid to use dialogue you like (I ‘steal’ from books and movies all the time).
Let some things die. If you started writing something and you’ve grown from that time and it’s still not finished, let it be unfinished, or start it again with your new knowledge. But it’s okay to not finish things. It’s okay to move on and never get an answer to an ending. You’re not writing a book (yet) just enjoy not having a deadline and a script and go with it

ok so we have seen over and over again people's assumptions about how gg main characters's instagrams would look like but how do you think their secret tumblr blogs would be? 👀
hmm! i just went over tumblr in general, because i don’t think all of them would have ‘secret’ tumblrs per say? everyone’s thing under the cut, cause it got SO long. i did not mention chuck because i don’t rlly see chuck as having a tumblr in any universe tbh - i feel like he would think it takes away from his businessy vibe or something.
dan's main would be something with a ts eliot url, like, a snippet from one of his poems, or it would be a whitman url, a snippet from a poem again (i see him with a whitman url of some kind & maybe his blog title is an eliot reference.) dan would 100% have the whole dark academia thing going in some ways, i think his blog would be organised as a grid, and he would reblog pictures of libraries, museums, occasionally of art, and also, quotes. so many quotes. so much literature. if you've been on tumblr long enough you know exactly the kind of blog i'm talking about.
dan's tumblr sideblog, on the contrary, would have nothing to link it to him. it'd probably be the tumblr default theme, pastel colours or something... i feel like dan is the specific genre of trans kid who uses a different set of pronouns online for anonymity purposes and then goes "wait a minute i like these pronouns BETTER". his url would be something extremely mundane and random like coffeeaddict779 or something, and it would be all #vent and #dont reblog. nobody who's following his sideblog knows what his main is, and vice versa.
serena would i think have one of those "be kind, do no harm :)" kind of hipster tumblr blogs, except she's incredibly sincere. she wouldn't have a sideblog, i don't think? and i don't think she'd attach her name to it in any way, probably just pronouns in bio and maybe a 'call me S'. she and dan would be mutuals on dan's main! her blog will be very, uh. aesthetic pictures, reblogs of dolphin videos and music and WIP art videos and anything else that'll catch her eye. she'll tag blair in fashion vids, nate in sailing posts, dan in literary stuff, and vanessa in film related/photography related things. she's having fun! every now and then she'll post a vent post but it's extremely vague and it's either something everyone who knows her irl already knows about her ('i hate my mom so much') or something that says practically nothing ('i am so worried about my brother and wish i could do more to help him.')
jenny's fashion inspo blog!!!! what more do you want me to say. she'd make it big in the fashion community and get anons all the time and she'd probably also have an etsy where she sells things she's sewn and made. everyone sort of knows she's an up and coming designer and she'd find a good community online hopefully!!! her blog would be something simple, with a url like jennydesigns or something (i bet that's taken rn, i havent checked) and her theme would be one of those themes that allows for u to have big images. she would probably post vents in the same way serena does, tag them #personal or #rambles, and have that neat code that allows for the tag to be filtered out whenever anyone views her page on desktop, you know?
i think eric would not have anything specific that he posts. he would just reblog random things - memes, things he finds interesting, jenny's original posts, stuff serena tags him in, cat videos, lgbtq+ positivity, etc. he'd try and stay out of drama (i think he'd turn anon off eventually.) he’d also post a lot of music reblogs or links, i feel?
vanessa's main blog would be one where she posts her own photos and films. because she's professional about it, it'd probably just be @ vanessaabrams. she'd have a sideblog specifically for reblogging other people’s work because she wants to support other artists, and it would be vanessareblogs or something like that, and her bio would mention “main tumblr @ vanessaabrams”. she’d be much adored in the photo/film community and just in general, because she’s one of the few people who hypes up other creators all the time and leaves nice comments in tags and all that. every now and then serena reblogs vanessa’s photography onto her blog and it almost always blows up, but vanessa doesn’t mind. i don’t think vanessa would have a vent blog or even a personal tag, she gives me big ‘i wanna keep my business totally off the net’ kind of vibes.
nate’s blog would be a lot like serena’s except, uh, more openly wanderlusty i think. a LOT of ocean reblogs. every now and then he reblogs keroauc quotes from dan which the girls find extremely hilarious. he talks a lot about sailing and gets a lot of sailing anons. he’d reblog a lot of positivity (mostly because he knows his friends are following him and he wants to brighten up their dash.) dan and vanessa jokingly dm him weed aesthetic posts all the time, but every time they do he reblogs and tags it ‘sent to me’ or somehting like that, and they cant decide whether to be flattered or embarrased. i think nate would also attract a lot of anons who ask for advice and it is something he never expected people coming to him for, but he definitely listens and shares whatever he’s got to say all the same. he’s this blog who should be weirdly niche but everyone sort of knows him and likes him.
saving the best for the last, lol. i have SO many thoughts about blair’s tumblrs.
i think she’d have a main tumblr that’s solely for classic film stuff (audrey! and more) and that’d be @ blairwaldorf, because, well, duh. i think she’d pay for a tumblr theme and get one of those really fancy and cute ones, like a floralcodes ms paint theme. i think she’d also have a sideblog that’s less serious, where she’d reblog things from tv shows, reblog things serena or nate have tagged her in, write her own meta for fandoms she’s in, just generally be a multifandom mess with a #personal tag but nothing too personal. it would still be classy, because she’s blair, but on this blog, she’s just a girl having fun.
and then she’d have a THIRD blog, a sideblog that doubles up as a vent blog. and this one isn’t linked to her other two in an obvious way, nobody knows it’s her, etc. on here she’d probably post a lot about her ed (but i think in a ‘i am struggling and i want to bitch’ way, not in a thinspo way - that’s a whole conversation i have no spoons for, so let’s not go there), she’d post about her insecurities and worries but it would be extremely untraceable. she’d have a fancy theme on this one too, despite it being a vent blog.
hm. now im thinking of the potential of like. dan and blair interacting super frequently on their vent blogs and neither of them knowing it’s the other person!

chile, could ya explain the magic system in yo oc world more? im kinda confused w how it works👁👄👁
Oh boy, here we go bitches.
So as an intro to this, I said bout last oc post in Qiran's part that their fam was full of mages n shit, but also some of em weren't, n since they do have magic istelf Imma do more parts (3 parts)
First part- how does It all work (Humans/Mages)
First of all, not all of em have a connection with magic, for example Evelyn doesn't at all while Lyva does but only through a magical item so It doesn't really count.
Other then that, if you're born you can either be born with some kind of magic, or simply not. It all depends from your family's lineage, for example If you come from a family of mainly rougues it's hard to get some kind of magical power, while if your parents have both some kind of power or even if it's only one of em, it's more likely you'll end up with something really similar, or a mixture of the two. (In case both of your parents have magical powers of any sort.)
It also depends on where you're living, for example If you'd be born from a cold place it's unlikely ya'd have magma magic rather than snow magic.
Between humans/mages the system Is kinda the same, but that does change for Hybrids/Demi gods/anything that isn't born between the same species.
Between humans/mages it's more of how their ancestors managed to treat its powers, as some got even destroyed for not being worthy of its usage, so If anything at this point and time they're lucky about getting somethin.
Mages are far more cautious about It, having both a lot of hidden knowlege about spells or even origins of some types of magic, though that being the most "common" ones, (for example fire, water ect.), because it's not only them of course, there's far more variants and all are different from eachother.
They can also get stronger by the worshipping of certain gods, which I don't think I will really talk about, at least in this post. (And also because they're still a wip of mine)
But the gang until now really never relied on any of them, or at least Lyva/Rui n Naexi never really did, while the others absolutely did. This Is also why I will do another post as a sorta of a part 2.
Anyways back on topic, most people in all parts of my oc world aren't used to worshipping anymore, or at least a great part of It, mainly because of a loss of knowlege about anything about them.
It's kind of taboo even mentioning most gods names, as they fear something will go wrong if they would (*ahem*being suspicious n allarmin the cult*AHEM*). In fact it's hard to get on most religions because the only remains of It are extremely either hidden, or destroyed in the meanwhile.
I wanna say that another reason because the worshipping stopped Is also because of Rui's cult. Yes, remember that?
It's gonna be talked about on its own post, but let's just say that for them, it's a safe way to restrain anyone knowing far too much about how everything works.
They're the only ones owning most stuff about different coltures to avoid having them against their side,
If there's no worshippers, no knowlege, n more weak magic because people don't strengthen them, who's gonna go against em? (It'll turn out to be the shittiest idea they've ever had but that really did work for the longest time.)
Oh I think i forgot to mention this, but since magic goes lineage to lineage, It also weakenens as generations pass by, as THAT'S the reason they absolutely need those texts.
That's also the reason most humans struggle w keepin magic. Mages can manage, though it's a small portion, since sometimes not even what they've learned over generations works anymore.
Second part- how does It all work (Hybrids/Demi gods n stuff)
Oh boy, so, I'm also gonna use Shou n Naexi a lot here, so bear w me. As I said earlier, it's different from em, since it's not about lineage at all.
Apart that the union between different species Is both a taboo n seen as something "ashaming",so even if they had a child It was more likely they'd Hide It or leave It behind. So it's already a really, god-awful situation for them.
The magic works kinda randomly, in the sense that since the hybrid's nature is seen as unstable to begin w, there's no real critere to handle how the child born Is gonna turn out to be.
Sometimes it's really hard to notice, having yeah some features but can be hidden really easly, but other times Is just, a real mess between the two species, n the magic Is also uncontrollable, especially during their first years of life.
For example, in Shou's case he used to really switch a lot between em, that being the reason he later on prefers not to switch, n havin to learn as soon as possible how to learn how his magic n form would work w It, having again a lot of preassure comin from people he knew.
This Is unfortunatly a really common situation between most hybrids. And there's also no choise.
If you as an hybrid can control magic w/o anything to rely on then you can live, while if you cannot do It, it's a matter of time before you'd get zoned out by everyone and everything.
This Is a big issue, other than having everything fucked by the cult but that's another story.
Aight now bout demi-gods, they're also really not seen well. Most of them prefer not to interact at all with anything that Is not godly related, and in fact, most of em even refused to adknowledge their mortal parent, since they all have resentment over the sudden disappereance of all belivers.
If anything Naexi Is a weird one at that, as they did have a suddent interest in humans and ungodly creatures, though still recognized about how cruel any of them could've been, especially she's a demi-god and has a bad reputation at that.
The magic system Is relatively simple, they just get a certain amount of power from their god parent and are actually pretty capable of controlling them in confront of Hybrids.
That mainly comes from a special connection w their god parent's power, so in theory they're sort of devoted to them.
I wanna expand this when I'll do the gods post n finnaly introduce some of em (And potentially Naexi's mother👀), so I'll not go beyond this atm.
Third part- Magical items/weapons
Aight onto another important part, which Is basically how tf would that work. We have that comin from Qiran's sword n Lyva's earrings, so they'll also be later on disscussed bout.
Even though it's a tough and long procedure, you can transport some of your own magic onto somethin as ordinary as an hat or as sharp as a dagger.
This Is being mainly used in emergency situations, as that energy can eventually be re-used later on by its user.
The user can be changed as long as there's a deal between both parties, whether that being a gift, buying It, or anythin up to them really.
It can also be a great way to hide mage's power, since there are some parts where they arent exactly that respected, so they could blend in with normal humans.
In fact, Qiran does that continiously thanks to their sword, daggers and other lil weapons, and they keep a big part of It there, to seem rather a normal knight/adventurer rather than havin somethin supernatural goin on.
They have a great holdo it since their father did make them learn to fulfill their request to be freerly goin round.
With Lyva it's not really different, even if she kinda stole It n there wasn't really a deal at that moment, but before runnin away from everyone n everything she convinced her mother to give her something that she could use to defend herself, since they were never around and when they were, they would've kinda avoided her.
Oh, and to add this, you could also curse an item. It's a way to mainly punish since ,well, it's a curse,
and makes the user either completely obsessed with the object itself or makin them do somethin w/o any type of consent, whether physical or emotional.
In some cases It can also be a torture tool. Though, as some recent stuff happened, they're somewhat hard to find.
