Hardison (checking phone): Guys, they are ripping through Nate and Tara's cover stories. All their financials are blown. So look, until I know what they know, no credit cards, no debit cards, no ATMs, nothing that can be traced back to us. OK? Cash in hand only.

Nevins (on phone): No, not a safe house. Interpol wants Culpepper someplace off our system. We're taking him to the Governor Hotel.

Nate: OK, that's it. That's where we're gonna hole up.

Tara: The Governor Hotel?

Nate: Yeah.

Tara: The hotel crawling with FBI?

Eliot: FBI and Interpol.

Nate: Yeah, you know, it's the one place in Boston they won't be lookin' for us. Come on, we just gotta get there first

Tara: Oh, thank God! I just stepped out to get the paper and then my door closed behind me and I tried to find a house phone, but you guys don't have those anymore. (drops towel) Oops.

Man: Uh...

(Eliot and Parker look down the hall, then at each other, then down the hall)

Hardison: In-room checkout. (sits down on bed with keyboard) OK, look, this means that I have access to the hotel's billing computers. It's a big ol' backdoor in every hotel room in America. (hacks system) As of right now, we've been here for a week, and our reservations are good for another week, courtesy of this man's platinum card, Mr. Ogden Shields, who has spent a lot of time in the adult section of pay-per-view. I mean, did he even leave the room?

Parker: In-de-panties Day?

(Parker takes keyboard from Hardison’s hands)

Eliot: All right, I'm gonna go get some keys made. I'm goin' to the gym. Make sure I can charge stuff on the room.

Hardison: I gotcha.

(women moaning on TV)

Parker: Wow, she really wants that car clean.

Hardison: That’s-that's enough of that

parker is baby and hardison wants to protect her from that nastiness

Hardison: 'Cause he's big on the surplus weapons market.

Eliot: (laughs) That's just a polite way of saying arms dealer.

Tara: His specialty's buying cheap guns from Third World countries and reselling 'em.

Nate: Don't worry about Sterling.

Eliot: Did you just say, "Don't worry about Sterling?"

Nate: Yeah, don't worry about Sterling. What you don't think I can beat Sterling?

Eliot: I think in the last six months, Nate, I've heard you talk about beating the Triads, beating the Russians. All right? Maggie's boyfriend. Huh? How'd that work out? We all said that meet was a bad idea, right? But you got a taste for taking down this Mayor and you can't resist.

Nate: You wanna walk away? Walk away.

Eliot: I'm not walkin' away. It's not my job. My job is to get your back. And, Nate, I'm gonna do it. All the way down. But I need you to do your job.

Nate: And what's that?

Parker: Be Nathan Ford. Be the person we came back for

(Sterling gets into an elevator. Nate heads up the stairs, stopping at every floor to push the elevator button. Sterling begins to get irritated when the elevator stops at every floor but never sees Nate, who gets progressively more tired as they go upward)

[Hallway]

(Sterling gets off on the 14th floor. Behind him, Eliot pushes his cart into the elevator. Sterling glances at him but the door closes before he can get a good look. Sterling approaches the door the FBI agents are guarding)

petty and fucking ICONIC I wouldn’t have the stamina for that but neither would nate tbh and honestly he was probably running on pure spite to make that happen and I respect him for that

Parker: Housekeeping!

(she goes inside, pulling her cart in behind her. Once in the room, she finds Tara and Hardison in the window. Hardison is tangled in his line, and Tara is trying to help him)

Hardison: Ow. That's... Stop. Hey, I got this. Stop. I don't need help.

Tara: Clearly you do.

Hardison: I got this. I got this. Go.

(Eliot walks in with Parker thrown over his shoulder)

Nate: OK. Yeah, put her in the tub with the others.

(Eliot takes her into the bathroom)

Nate: My team?

Sterling: They go down. Every last one of 'em. They deserve to go down. They're criminals, Nate. Thieves. So that's the deal. You bring me Kadjic and the guns, and I cut you and you alone loose. Because at the end of the day you're always right. You're not a thief. This is your second chance.

(Sterling picks up the flask and walks away)

[Interior Helicopter]

(Parker’s face hardens and she heads for Tara, who is putting the rappelling gear back in the oxygen tank)

Tara: Parker, what's wrong?

(Parker grabs Tara by the throat and pushes her back until she is leaning over the edge of the building)

Tara: You're really strong.

Parker: Yeah. I hang from buildings with my fingertips.

Tara: It's not what you think. I was setting up a meeting!

Parker: Actually, that was exactly what I was thinking. Bye now.

Tara: Not for myself

ANNIE KROY IS BACK

(Eliot, his hands tied, is being led to some stairs by two goons.)

Man: I'll get the hatch.

(one man moves ahead of Eliot while the other stays behind him. When Eliot doesn’t follow the first man up the stairs, the second pushes him)

Man 2: Come on.

Eliot: Thirteen.

(Eliot and the second man struggle, sending gunfire rifling across the ceiling before the second man is knocked down. The first man comes back and kicks Eliot in the face. Eliot kicks him in return)

Eliot: Come here!

(Eliot swings his hands across the first man’s face, knocking him back)

Eliot: Twelve.

(Eliot knocks the first man out)

Eliot: Eleven.

(Eliot starts up the stairs, but hears someone else coming and waits around a corner. After a brief struggle, he knocks this man out as well and breaks the zip ties on his wrist)

Eliot: Ten. (heads up the stairs

Tara: All she asked was that I report back to her every now and then. Are we sure this is the fastest way?

Parker: Yeah, look. (looking at car GPS) There's no traffic this way. So, you were spying on us.

Tara: I was not spying. I was an early warning system. Sophie just, she was worried Nate might go off the rails. So, if it ever looked like he was spinning out of control, I was supposed to call and let Sophie lay in a backup plan just in case.

Parker: Yeah. Why not us?

Tara: Because you were too likely to forgive him.

Parker: I suppose gettin’ busted by the FBI and trying to bring down arms dealers while kidnapping a mayor does qualify as out of control.

Tara: So, anyway, I used my contacts to get Sophie set up as a buyer for the guns. You know... You actually had me worried for a second that you were gonna drop me.

Parker (laughs): That is silly

(Hardison is carrying a large monkey wrench and smiling. He hears noises and goes to investigate, seeing Eliot starting up a ladder)

Hardison: Hey. It took you long enough.

Eliot: What?

(Eliot starts toward Hardison, but a man points a gun to his head)

Man: Freeze.

(Eliot grabs the gun and knocks the man out)

Eliot: One.

Hardison: What

hardison if he knew what eliot was doing: hot damn

(the team gathers together. Parker hugs Sophie)

Sophie: Ooh. Parker touching.

Parker: Kinda, yeah.

Eliot: There's not that many ways out of here.

Sophie: Eliot, when I arrange a rescue, I do it properly.

(a helicopter lands on the docks near the ship. The team heads down the stairs, but Nate hesitates, looking down at the blood on his hand from his side. He goes down the ladder to join the team on the lower deck)

Nate: I've destroyed all the evidence the FBI has on Culpepper and Kadjic. You have no photos, no tapes, you don't have anything. You don't have a case on anybody, unless you arrest me. And only me.

Sophie: Nate?

Nate: I agree to turn state's evidence. I testify to what Kadjic told me, how he put the hit on Bonanno. Hell, I'll even give you Bonanno's evidence against the gunrunning.

Eliot: Nate, I can take these guys.

Hardison: It's just ten more yards to the chopper, man.

Nate: Listen, guys. I got you into this mess. This is the only way to get you out.

eliot is still ready to fight for his family no matter what and hardison just wants them to leave because they’re SO CLOSE

Nate: Come here.

(the team moves closer to him)

Nate: You guys are the most honorable people I have ever met in my life. You've become my family. My only family. I won't forget that. (looks at Eliot) Now get 'em on the chopper. Please. Now!

Eliot: Let's go.

(Eliot nudges Parker and she reluctantly heads for the gangplank. Eliot touches Hardison’s arm)

Eliot: Let's go, man.

(Hardison walks away. Eliot hesitates a moment, shaking his head, then follows the others, hesitating at the top of the gangplank near Sterling)

nate trusts eliot, and only eliot, to be the one to be able to get the rest of the team out of there and into the helicopter. he knows eliot and how much he cares for his family and will do anything to make sure they’re safe, and nate is betting on that to get them out of there

eliot has to be the one to make parker and hardison move because they’ll listen to him and also there would be a good chance that they’d try to stay with Nate otherwise

his gentle hands leading them away have my whole (whole) heart

(Sophie and Eliot get on the helicopter, Eliot hesitating one last time before getting in)

this hurts eliot so much because he’s the RETRIEVAL SPECIALIST and he’s supposed to get everyone safe and never leave anyone behind I’m-

Agent: Who the hell is this guy?

Sterling: I don't know.

Nate: My name's Nate Ford, and I am a thief.

(more sirens are heard. Nate begins laughing as the helicopter lifts off and more police cars and agents arrive, surrounding Nate and the dock. Nate watches the helicopter fly away)

MAJOR character development for nate this season (2.01 had him refusing that he was a thief and in multiple other episodes in this season)

oh and also, y’all, just like last season, if I had to watch this go down like that with my own two eyes and have that be the end of leverage (because they close every season like it’d be the last) I would have fucking R E V O L T E D

Unplanned (Babe Heffron x Reader)

Ask: May I request one where this is after the war and the reader and Babe are like best friends, but also friends with benefits. And he finds out before her that she’s pregnant? I don’t know if that makes sense...

A/n: thank you so much for the request, I loved writing this one! It was so much fun to write! Anyway hope you enjoy! :)

Y/n felt a lot of emotions as she made her way towards her shared apartment. It seemed as if she had been walking down that hallway for an eternity. She felt like she was going to throw up and she didn’t doubt that she probably would. Given that around the same time everyday she had been doing so.

Not only that but her mind raced at all the possibilities, and the main question being: how? She knew how, but she just couldn’t wrap her mind around the fact that she was with child. And better yet, if was Babe’s. Now, it wasn’t so bad he tried his best to be responsible, bless him, but he wasn’t exactly ready to be a dad.

They weren’t even together! After they had come back from Europe she jokingly asked if he would want to rent an apartment with her. After a month of sharing a foxhole with him in the middle of the damn war she grew on him. Then months after they moved in together, they decided to be what Babe referred to as “intercourse buddies.”

Y/n mentally facepalmed herself, how could she ever agree to that? In the heat of the moment she needed it, and Babe offered so she said yes. And now look where that got them. Sighing she stopped in front the door of their shared apartment, her hand on the door knob. She braces herself for what was about to come, Babe possibly even taking the initiative to move out and live on his own.

He was her best friend, she knew him all too well. He wouldn’t do that... would he? All the thoughts that raced through her mind only gave her more anxiety, she sighed and turned the knob anyway. The first thing that greeted her has Babe sitting on the couch with a slice of pizza in his hand and a beer and another. The T.V playing a movie they had seen one too many times.

“Hey, I got a pizza on the way back from work” he greeted, a smile plastered on his face. Y/n awkwardly smiled back and closed the front door behind her. She debated on even telling him, what if she just told him that she slept with someone else? And he wasn’t the baby daddy, but he could be the cool uncle! But immediately she yelled at herself mentally before sighing and removing her coat. “How was work?” He asked, y/n sighed and hung the piece of clothing on the coat hanger.

“Interesting, hospital was pretty busy” she sighed as she walked over to the pizza box and opened it. The flavors of the grease and Italian sausage that came towards her direction were enough to prompt her disgust. Babe watched carefully as she made a face and slowly closed the box. “Surprising even,” she mumbled loud enough for him to hear

“You don’t say?” He asked as he brought the slice of pizza up to his mouth. “Talked to Eugene earlier, he says hi” he spoke slowly, y/n closed her eyes as she tried to hold back the vomit. Babe only watched her, still eating his slice of pizza.

“Why’d he uh... why’d he call?” She asked, looking away and instead walking towards the fridge and pulling out the pitcher with ice cold water. Babe sighed and stood up from his spot on the couch and walked towards the small kitchen. He watched her every movement, from the way she grabbed a coffee mug and poured the cold liquid.

“Just asked him a few questions, gave me an answer you know how all that stuff works..” he shrugged, y/n brought the rim of the mug up to her mouth and nodded as she drank the water. “You okay?” He asked, y/n froze at the question and finished drinking her water before setting the mug back down.

“Y-yes. Yeah I’m.. im okay..” she chuckled nervously. Babe only furrowed his eyebrow and gave her a nod before leaning on the counter and sighing.

“You know what else Gene told me? Apparently Lip and his wife are selling tickets to this Sinatra concert. Now—“

“I’m pregnant” she blurted out, immediately covering her mouth with her hand. Shocked by the fact that she just yelled it out.

“Yeah I know, anyway I was thinking: we can buy the tickets to this concert and resell them or even trade them in fo-“ y/n was even more shocked, a) how did he know and b) why was he still talking about concert tickets?

“Edward did you not hear me?” She asked, Babe sighed and dropped his head. It was useless, he was never going to see Frank Sinatra live.

“Yeah I told you, I know. Can you just hear me out?” He asked as he gestured with his hands, y/n raised her eyebrow in question and watched as he opened his mouth to talk again.

“What do you fucking mean you know? How?” She asked, still very confused as to how he knew when she had found out herself two hours before. Babe groaned and brought the palms of his hands into his eyes.

“If I tell you will you listen to my proposal? You’ve been bitching about wanting to see Sinatra live for the past three months” he spoke irritated, y/n opened her mouth to speak but instead she shut her mouth and waited for him to continue. “Gene told me”

Y/n eyes widened at his reason, she felt like she was going to vomit. “How did he know!?” She asked, her voice going higher in pitch. Babe stood back up and sighed “Edward, how the fuck did Eugene Roe— who lives about seven states away from us know that I’m pregnant before I even knew?” She asked as she walked closer to him.

“Christ, take it easy it’s my kid in there” he spoke calmly as he pointed to her abdomen. He grabbed her shoulder and guided her to one of the stools that were placed near the kitchen counter. Y/n still in a state of confusion and shock. “I noticed you’ve been spilling your guts everyday for weeks, not to mention the amount of naps you’ve been taking, and you’ve been stuffing your face! Also your boobs have gotten bigger, now I ain’t complaining but it was concerning. So I called Gene, wanted to make sure you weren’t dying of cancer or something.” Babe shrugged, y/n slowly nodded as he explained

“Asked me when you last monstrated, that I did not know. But we put one and one together and we came to the conclusion that I put a baby in you” he finished, y/n swallowed hard and. She was at a loss for words, “anyway, so I called Lip. His wife answered and said that they would call us back whenever Lip got home from work—“

“We’re having a baby,” she whispered, Babe sighed and took a seat next to her. They were quiet for a minute, the only sounds were the ones coming from the TV. “Did you say monstrated?” she asked before looking up at him, Babe only clicked his tongue and slowly nodded.

“Yeah, when you bleed from your...” he trailed off as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly “anyway, look yeah we’re having a baby. I don’t know why you’re so freaked out. We’ll be great parents!” He grinned, y/n was still confused as to why he hasn’t freaking out. But she felt a sense of reassurance the second he said they would be great parents.

“You really think so?” She asked, Babe nodded and stood up. He placed a kiss on her forehead and walked towards the fridge.

“So these Sinatra tickets, what if we can’t resell them? Do we just drive to West Virginia I mean I love the man but would I really drive seven hours to see him live?” He asked as he reached into the fridge and pulled out two bottles of beer and reached for the bottle opener as he continued his rant. “I mean, is it worth it? We could always just wait for him to come to Philly and save up enough money to buy the tickets ourselves. Don’t get get vet discounts on tickets?” he handed the bottle over to her, y/n chuckled and shook her head at his rant and brought the bottle up to her lips.

Babe only reached over and took it away from her, “Hey!” She protested, Babe set the bottle down on the counter and sighed.

“Gene told me you can’t drink alcohol and coffee, shits bad for the baby” he sighed before taking a sip from the beer bottle he had just taken from her. Y/n mentally facepalmed again, of course she knew that. She had just forgotten about being pregnant for two seconds. “Oh god you’re gonna be a nightmare.” Babe mumbled, more to himself but y/n still heard him.

She reached over and slapped his arm, babe only laughed at the action “Hey!”

“You’re not gonna have caffeine for what, seven months? You’re gonna try to kill me the whole time!” he exclaimed, y/n only rolled her eyes and shook her head before crossing her arms over her chest. “Eh, it don’t matter. You can’t get rid of me that easily” he joked before taking another sip of his beer. Y/n shook her head, giggling as she reached for the pizza box. Grabbing a slice of the warm pizza she took a bite, babe watching her attentively.

She hummed in content at the flavors in her mouth, but the second she took the second bite she felt a sensation she was all too familiar with. Babe raised his eyebrows and watched as her expression changed.

“Gotta spill your guts?” He asked, y/n only nodded and hummed an “mhm” before dropping the slice and hopping off the stool. She jogged towards the bathroom trying her very best to hold it in, Babe smirked and ran behind her before jokingly yelling “ run baby run!” As words of encouragement.

oh jesus. i actually recently found my old journal lol

from way back when. 2009 i think? i was 13 or some shit. jesus. ok. so my first love was actually over the internet.

yeah, i know. nowadays we’re spoiled with tinder n shit, but back in 2009, all we had was myspace and msn and i met this fucker on skype.

i was so ahead of my time.

anyway, it was october 25, 2009.

here’s a snippet from my journal entry:

well i met a guy on skype. he’s a month younger cause my b-day is on oct 14 and his is on nov 18. but i don’t mind it.

ok, first thing to note, i fucking love self care. like, too much if im honest.

baths with bubbles and nice smelling scents, lotions, a face mask, taking my time with washing my face and hair and putting on the cutest clothes after. also snacks, always snacks.

when im feeling like spending money: massage. full body. best thing ever. i treat myself to it at least once a year for my b-day.

5. What’s your skincare routine?

ok so i just got a new skincare line. it’s from nature republic. i have a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer. it’s fairly simple (unlike 9 steps in korean ahhahha, but like i’ll probably get there in time) also i have a peel mask that smells like bananas that i put on twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells. oh and sometimes i do korean face masks, too.

8. Best trip you’ve ever been on?

thailand. my parents took me w/ them on their honeymoon.

i was just there for the swimming, riding elephants, getting food poisoning and downing two banana splits in one afternoon. good times.

9. Favorite thing about your room?

i live in a jungle. but also in an art gallery cause my mom buys paintings online and resells them, but it’s become such a habit for her they are literally EVERYWHEREE I CANNOT.

also sorry mom i keep forgetting to water the GAZILLION plants THAT YOU HAVE MOVED INTO MY ROOM FOR SOME REASON. they’ll be dead by the time ur home. srry ilyyyyy.

dude. idk. i mean. it’s definitely not something one can describe easily or fully grasp.

with certain people. im weird.

Just how annoyed am I...
