i dont think theres a single thing in my life im not tired of anymore. i dont feel like doing anything and im sick to my stomach of everything ever
#i live day after day going through all daily activies i can do#and being sick of all of them#i dont want to sleep i dont want to eat#i dont want to talk to people anymore. i dont want to draw anymore#im fucking sick of social media#i get bored and try to distract myself but all youtube videos are boring ive heard every song on my playlist and im sick of all of them#i want to leave my house but theres nothing to do outside and no place to go#i want to buy a snack or something fun for me but the number on my bank account keeps going lower and lower everyday#im scared of running out of money and starving again#but i havent finished the commission i got ages ago and im too burnt out from drawing to get new ones#i hate everything and everyone everything makes me angry and i get mad even at my friends#im sick im tired its like i havent felt actually good about anything in ages#i am in some kind of fucked up torture chamber purgatory losing any sense of self every second#god.

(Other than the really weird bit about "Male presenting Doctor") what were your thoughts about the specials?
pretty mixed bag, pretty messy, but good overall. i think they were very obviously a nostalgia trip for people around my age lol and it worked! i loved seeing tennant and tate back onscreen together, their chemistry hasn't aged a bit, and honestly just watching doctor who that wasn't written by chris chibnall was a breath of fresh air. they weren't boring, like seasons 11 and 12 were, and they didn't go too far off the other end into nonsense like flux did. characters want things again! the show can let itself just be silly! i was literally cheering out loud when donna and the doctor were just saying random scifi gobbledegook at each other for like a solid several minutes during the star beast.
the structure of the specials kind of baffles me. i love wild blue yonder--i think it's definitively the best of the specials as a standalone, it's absolutely fantastic, creepy and atmospheric and bringing things around to RTD's strength, which is well-written characters interacting with each other and letting good actors just act. but at the same time i dont understand why it exists? it feels like...idk. imagine if you watched the star wars original trilogy but instead of the empire strikes back the middle film was just a feature length film about luke and han surviving on an ice planet with no reference to anything that happens in the last film except the two characters' relationship. and then the next film was still return of the jedi, unchanged. it felt like that
i liked all the weird campy silliness of the star beast and the giggle, and they were both very fun! neil patrick harris gave a fantastic performance, there are a lot of very memorable sequences from the giggle, but it's very very all over the place. so many threads get kind of picked up and go nowhere. the toymaker's haunted house dimension goes nowhere. RTD's eyerolling social media commetnary goes nowhere (thank god tbh but yknow im illustrating something here). even the toymaker kind of goes nowhere, after ncuti gatwa shows up he's bascially an afterthought who loses by dropping a ball. obvious parallels to david tennant's first episode with that ball scene could be made, but just... aren't. it feels like load-bearing sectikons of the plot and themes were cut out to make room for a backdoor pilot for the stupid fucking UNIT spinoff
oh and it goes without saying i fucking hate all the UNIT wank in the star beast and the giggle. i hope space nine eleven 2 happens to their stupid fucking avengers tower i cannot stand kate stewart who is constantly a murderous bonehead (in the giggle alone she gets two pepole killed by not listening to the doctor and assuming that this teleporting godlike entity could be restrainted by Two Guys) who is both in and out of universe just a boring nepo baby with no merit of her own
um. i still dont know what happened with the regeneration. i think the implication is that when david tennant dies hell time travel back to become ncuti gatwa inside himself--at least the rehab dialogue seems to make that implication. but it's not really explained or explored? baffling. i do think that fourteen getting to settle down and live a peaceful life with his friends is cute.
oh yeah and the ask said other than that but goddd there was some good stuff in the star beast and honestly with the state of the UK media i will take any perspective on trans people that includes baseline human erespect but some of those lines made me cringe so bad. anyway overall i am cautiously optimistic for the future of the show--oh ncuti was fucking great did i mention that i instantly bnought him as the doctor he owned the scene, the moment he was there it was clear he was the protagonist, and i liked the church on ruby road well enough too--i am cautiously optimistic but i worry that a big UNIT-shaped tumor will devour huge chunks of it and it'll be annoying. also russel t davies is like 60 and i just dont want to hear what he has to say about twitter so im not looking forward to dot and bubble

i actually wrote liek a fucking essay oh my god im so sorry anon ill have the actual drawing context after the big bolded caps
TW for typical creepypasta story type stuff
anyway ok UNNECESSARY BACKSTORY: liu spent a long time trying to just psychologically recover from everything. he hated jeff and he hated the memory of everything. jeff signature murders would occur every now and again, each time liu would fall into a deep depression. the murders stopped for a while, and everyone believed jeff 'retired' or died. liu was conflicted about it. until Jeff committed his final full-blown 'jeff fashion' murder (janes family) in tuscaloosa alabama. liu had another breakdown and ended up moving to tuscaloosa because he was completely convinced he needed to find jeff again because he could fix it (or die trying and he'd be fine with that too)
nina was always one of those girls obsessed with 'true crime' but like.... the murderers instead of the cases. she was 12 when jeff's first rampage happened and she just fell head over heels in love with this freak. she began to act out, miss school for days, sneaking out to meet older people, etc etc. eventually she did the classic jeff smile cut into her face(she pussied out on making it like jeffs, so she has cleaner, less noticeable scars) . she started getting severely bullied (for being creepy and worshipping a literal murderer) and her parents sent her to live with her grandparents in mississpi. she started stalking liu through social media and whitepages when jeff was presumed dead. but eventually, jeff's final murder happened in alabama(a state away from her) and after turning 18, she ran away to go find jeff convinced he would 'save her' from the life she created for herself. nina got wrapped up in slenderman business because of her constant Tom Foolery. she met her idol
JEFF IS A BAD PERSON IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. he did a beautiful job in using his #1 fangirl and enjoying the worship. she scrambled for pennies to afford an apartment, she'd sleep on the couch if he wanted to use her bed, she's ride her bike hours to go get weed or something from rando drug dealers that give better deals to pretty girls, make him food, do his damn laundry, literally anything and everything bc THATS HER MAAANNNNN (no he isnt.)
jeff DOES NOT GIVE A FUUUCK about everything nina does for him . one day he finds her trying to creepily get into contact with liu (and liu actually responded) and he loses his shit and stabs her and goes on and on about how 'you ruined your own useless fucking life your family is never going to take you back you did this to yourself' etc. he didn't intend to kill her only cuz he knew she'd forgive him and he liked all the shit she gave him
NOW ABOUT THE DRAWING ITSELF:::::
afterwards nina gets patched up from jeff stabbing her, she has some weird 'liu will save me' spiral (not romantically just in a very literal 'he can fix this' way). liu's been on his own spiral since finding out jeffs alive which is the only reason he even gave nina the time of day. eventually she ends up at his house to 'talk about jeff' bc she sent him creepy pics proving she knew jeff yadayadayada.
im not sure the exact conversation i imagined for the drawing, BUT liu eventually says something that sets nina off and she tears at her stitches and breaks down and drips blood all over his kitchen talking about 'I CAN MAKE HIM LOVE ME AGAIN I JUST NEED YOUR HELP PLEAAASEEEE' or something.
liu's a good man, much to his own detriment, and can't help but comfort this kid who's bleeding and crying in his kitchen at the fault of his own brother. he's all too familiar with wanting to repair his relationship with jeff, despite the amount of rage, betrayal, misery, etc he felt at jeffs hands. he doesn't ACTUALLY want to reconnect with jeff, but it's a very deep internal longing for the baby brother he once had that VERY RARELY overshadows his hatred
i want to reaffirm that liu does not feel positively about jeff at all, does not want to see him, and only moved to alabama b/c of a long ass mental health crises and is now too wrapped up in new financial commitments(plus jane) to move again. and now he feels obligated to help nina
he just misses being a big brother :( not so much the jeff part
also none of this at all is shipping at all i am terrified at the idea of people taking anything romantically . even if nina is in 'love' with jeff its purely for the story/horror . ITS ALL REALLY BAD

you know, everything that's going on with palestine feels nothing more than a losing battle and i honestly hate it. every actor, social media platform, and corporation we know, including the government, largely supports israel, and no matter how much we try to amplify the palestinians voices, the genocide keeps getting worse and the israelians and their allies ignore those outcries. hell, ive seen stories of how people will get punished for supporting palestine. and with the internet and cellular connections getting cut off, there clearly wont be any palestinians left at this rate. if anything, it will serve us as a reminder that our efforts did not matter in the long in this war and will not matter in similar circumstances. i dont even know if there is anything else we can do.
that's not how life works. if the people throughout history who fought for independence gave up because everything seemed hopeless, most of us would still be under british colonial rule
it's not our place to lose hope, rather it's our duty to speak up for whats right, no matter what happens. i will not sit complicit and wait for a genocide to end because im worried my words aren't making any difference. if nothing else, i hope any palestinian who sees this remembers that whatever happens, there will always be people who will stand by them, there WILL be a free palestine, god willing and justice will be served to those who are killing innocents. this is what i choose to believe in and i will never lose hope no matter what some paltry actors who would sell their souls and children for a single check. they can all go fuck themselves

Hello hello! I just wanted to say im super excited for this game to the point im already knee deep in brainstorming Seven/MC lore (and a playlist for them ALREADYY I’m unwell) and general backstory for my MCAkshsjshsjd 🙈i have to say I’m not sure what the critique is about regarding Seven, personally?? If you understand the industry even a little bit (any industry that’s highly competitive and talent-based where there’s lots of opportunity for jealousy and animosity to build) I don’t think Seven’s reasoning for leaving the band/ending the relationship is that alarming. Considering their closeness to MC and it feeling like a betrayal after everything they’d been through. They literally grew up together and it was their dream. MC and Seven against the world 😭Especially adding that I imagine my no-chill MC said something REALLY shitty to them in the heat of the moment that was kind of the thing that made them go “fuck it, I’m done” and MC regretting it ever since but still feeling justified in their overall message of “I will not lose because you can’t win” (shoutout to my fellow reformed musical theatre kids with that line)
Anyway all that to say I DO have a question: does Seven check in on MC via social media? Not necessarily follow them but just check their Insta or tiktok or whatever to see what they’re up to/what they’re doing? Or can they resist?
AND since im lost in the Backstory Sauce: how was Seven’s home life growing up?

Seven sees MC on any social media and quickly scrolls away for their own sanity lol (but they do take peeks here and there.) Seven isn't very social media orientated in general. They hate searching themselves or anyone up.

This blog and the plague doc community, for me, is temporary relief from real-world hot-button issues and politics- not to say that this blog is neutral or that I refrain from being political (far from it) but due to some things ive noticed from some in this community im just like… *gestures vaguely* …stating this just to get this out there.
I think, no matter how much you may have personal stake in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, (apologies if this is almost over-said at this point but) there is absolutely no excuse for genocide. There’s plenty of info out there to indicate that the Israeli government is corrupt, and by extension the United States’s government, feeds its corruption like a gluttonous pig. It’s completely fucked up and I hate this damn country worse than I ever have before (The us i mean). So much it’s rage-inducing. Jewish Israelis and Palestinians are capable of living in peace, but everyone seems completely happy with taking away that peace, to push their own zionist or antisemitic agendas- ordinary people and politicians alike. It’s fucked up. And I know the United States government, aside from some representatives of color, couldn’t ultimately give less a shit about Israel nor Palestine after all is said and done, and regardless of whether or not Israel “”””wins”””” with their billions upon billions from the US and Palestinians “lose” (read: are eradicated). The US could, and likely will, wipe its ass of the entire affair.
And I absolutely hate to see otherwise well-meaning people, so-called progressive people, excuse or even support a genocide just because they think that speaking out against the IDF and the US support of it is somehow synonymous with antisemitism, or synonymous with doing a disservice to their jewish heritage. Last I checked, government entities and malicious organizations are not synonymous with an entire ordinary people. And in turn, ordinary people are not synonymous, and should not be synonymous or held accountable for the actions of those that govern them when they clearly voice opposition.
I’m not going to be answering asks about this nor am I going to engage with discussion about this on this blog since it’s not this blogs purpose, and instead im going to continue to try to carry this energy in more meaningful action outside of social media couch-activism, and i encourage anyone who happens upon this to also do the same. Shit’s fucking maddening.

Im a teenage artist with a decent following of roughly 4000 on Instagram, but i honestly hate meta, and hate how it just keeps getting worse to only benefit the few at the top, but i have no idea where else to go without losing this support for my work ive spent so much time working on. Long story short i fully understand how shitty this whole deal is, us artists have to look out for each other.
Honestly this is how I felt about Twitter too. It's hard to just find an app that works perfectly for everyone and isn't actively trying to dick over their users... Being an artist on the internet does mean having to choose whichever terrible social media site works well enough for you that it isn't just... Hell. Instagram CAN work for certain things as long as you're willing to put up with the other shit.
... and honestly that's true for literally every choice we have, and it sucks that the downsides to our options are either "not enough people use this site/app so I wouldn't be able to make enough money" or "this is run by billionaires who will fuck us over in order to save literal pennies a year."

Can someone explain for me why Twitter of all apps is the one that likes to lick Vivzie boots the most? The always defend her on EVRYTHING, and anybody who question her actions is inmediately invaded by the "you just hate her for no reason" crowd.
And its weird, because twitter is know as the "app where everyone gets cancelled" yet this transphobe, abusive asshole that constantly acts childish on her social media is defended from all criticism???
For example, some minutes ago i saw someone calling out Vivzie foe liking that one shitty tweet saying that indie creators should thank her for being a pioner on indie animation. And i got happy at first, because i was thinking "finally, people are realising how horrible she is" until i saw the comments and most were like "um i dont see anything wrong 🙄 you just hating for no reason". Yeah guys supporting your fans giving you credit for something you didnt did and minimizing the work of others is nothing bad at all/s
And months ago, when it got leaked the discord conversation where a worker on helluva said that others proyects should "suck a dick", everyone in the comments was like "c'mon guys is just a joke dont take it seriously".
Its always "there is no proof", "it was years ago", "i dont see anything bad", im tried of these people.
And its fucking weird because i remember months ago hating Vivziepop was the norm, back when Lucifer design was revealed everyone was trashing it and Vivzie. Nowdays, she could throw a baby out of the window and twitter would laugh it off saying "oh i dont get the new Vivziepop controversy 🤣 she did nothing wrong" while harrassing those who said she was kinda mean for that.
Its really crazy watching how some smaller artists gets into worse controversy over smaller things and Vivzie is just there untochable.
Yesterday i saw some controversy over some artist who did a "drawing "ugly" features as beautiful" and its funny how they where getting so mad over what was clearly a mistake by someone with good intentions, yet they where attacking that poor artists as if they said a slur.
But Vivziepop has people who worked with her talking about her abuse and people think she is "hated for no reason"?!?!?!
I dont get that goddamn app. Hope Elon Musk destroys it and every Vivzie fan loses access to internet forever.

Person: Vivzie threw a baby out the window and it happened on live TV.
Twitter: That was debunked. I don't like Vivzie either but this is just a nothing burger. Go out and touch grass.

I hate my old face and made an entirely new and curated personal social media presence to distance myself from that part of me and am even getting FFS now, i was sick with envy over the trans community on here to the point that it eventually made me a crazy person, you can absolutely transition as a bit but you'll quickly find you won't want to go back even tho you absolutely can. Hmmmm ugly man or goth domme idk what lesbians want I'll have to get back to you on that.
As for an easy and simple life, that's...unfortunately not in the cards for any of us. This IS going to bump the difficulty to hardcore, I can't sugarcoat things. Even for the most privileged girls, it's a fucking struggle and you're gonna lose partners and friends and possibly family and definitely your mind so so many times...but holy fucking shit I couldn't ever go back, I am finally so content with who I am and what I'm doing, like....fuck I love being trans so goddamn much. Living in a very queer friendly area is a huge help tbh, the physical access to community has literally saved me.
Girl the first post I made post-transition was something like 'become the goth GF you want to see in the world'...if you can't stop thinking about it, you should probably try it and see how it feels. If it's not for you, no harm no foul, and nobody needs to know about it. You can stealth transition and just boymode in public and practice looks in private until you're comfortable.
This all sums up to me having to politely decline to your last request as I regretfully inform you that you could very well be trans, honey. As I've said before, cis people don't have to wonder this hard about it

Mk im not gonna make my blog all abt this but right now im torn inbetween forcing myself to keep calm or spiralling and letting my thoughts drift to the worst scenarios possible and back into a very dark place. But i will say if KOSA actually happens im fucked and so are so so soo many other minors on the internet, especially if they are also part of the lgbt+ community.
as much as i hate to admit im genuinely fearful of the possible outcomes of this and go to the worse case scenarios imma admit im fricking scared. this mixed with my states version of the 'dont say gay bill' being passed like two months ago has me questioning if this is all frickin worth it.
but what i actually came to say, besides the little spiralling breakdown im trying to avaoid, we have to fucking stop this, like sign every petition and anything we need to, call every single mf we need to, just to do anything and everything to make sure KOSA does not pass and ruin so many people's lives and put so many people in danger and also basically change the internet and society as we know it. ill probably make a better post about this soon, one more detailed and when im not in as bad of a headspace, but we've gotta at least try our damn hardest to put a stop to this useless bullshit. and i also wanna say, this is coming from my more fearful and hopeless point of view i try not to give into or share, but maybe we need to start pulling together our fandoms and communities irl, maybe we need to get ready to start groups, programs and other stuff for our states n all so we can still somewhat keep together even if its more local and seems impossible, maybe it'll be worth a shot if all shit goes to hell and so we don't have to fully lose things that we love, like out fandom communities, or writing communities. im too sure how itd work but i just thought id pitch a idea if all shit goes down the drain and we still need a upside to the hell or something.
