What does your header mean? And I don’t mean that in a “I was too lazy to use a translation app” way, but in a “it sounds like a reference to something or maybe a poem but I’m not sure” kinda way…
i'll give my own translation too, but let it be known to you that i am genuinely happy that you clarified you're not asking in the "too lazy to try n look myself" way
it translates to "I won't wash my hands for a little while, I don't want to take the pollen from your skin away from myself" and it's a lyric from the czech song called Skládanka (Little Puzzle, i think) by Jan and František Nedvědovi. the song is about waking up with your lover in the bed, it's a lazy slow morning and you don't want to get up but you have to part because the world needs you in work. it's basically just singing about how endlessly the singer loves his wife, that he just wants to be with her
my other favorite lines from it are!: • "Snad se mi zdáš, nebo nechápu nic, snad jsem jen blázen, co chtěl by víc, ty můj vánku, skládanko hezká z kouzelnejch chvil." // "Perhaps I'm just imagining you, or I don't understand nothing, perhaps I'm just a fool, which would want more, my breeze, beautiful little puzzle made of magical moments." • "A tvoje tvář je plná stop mých, začnu se bát, jestli to moje rád ti neublíží." / "And your face is full of my traces, I start to fear, if that loving of mine won't harm you."
while not my all time favorite song from them (that would be Růže z Papíru, translating to Rose made of Paper, or Tulácký Ráno, translating to uhh... Tramp in the Morning maybe???), Nedvědi translated n also wrote n then sung songs that i've all found out about from my parents when i was very little. their songs just remind me of the good times from my childhood

4. favourite dish specific for your country?
Oooh we got so many delicious dishes but my favourite has to be Birchermuesli - it's comparable to cereal or oatmeal and it's not only healthy but also one of the absolute most delicious dishes ever and I could eat a ton of it in one sitting haha.
5. favourite song in your native language?
okay listen,,, I'm horrible with music questions and I really couldn't decide on just one song... luckily Niamh @marculees asked me this question as well, so I decided to recommend 3 songs here and the other three when answering her ask (forgive me🤧) andjdjksksol
1️⃣ Lo & Leduc - 079
youtube
This song is honestly amazing to vibe to, the lyrics are very interesting though because it's about a guy who falls in love with a woman who worked for the directory enquiry service. He kept calling every day to ask for her personal phone number but she never gave it out to him and when he's finally figured it out after years of trying, he gets ran over by a streetcar/tramway and there's that- (they wrap it up very humorously and I don't think he's died in the end, so it's not intended to be a dark song)
2️⃣ Fabienne Louves - Samschtig
youtube
This song is so old but I've loved it when I was younger and it is still a bop imo! There's just this hilarious part in the chorus when she sings about encouraging their girl friend to "shake their booties" on the dancefloor and this phrase sounds utterly silly in Swiss German ("schüttlet [=shake] eui [= your] füdle [= booties]") and it's a fun and lighthearted song in general but I really like the instrumental and her vocals!^-^
3️⃣ Bligg - Manhattan (this doesn't refer to the city btw it actually means something in Swiss German :'))
youtube
This song is honestly a classic and one you need to know if you want to listen to Swiss music. It's just such a bop and the lyrics are also really cool because they talk about "style" and how some people were either born with it or not. "Manhattan" basically means "one has it" (or not) - referring to the style. The music video is also really cute with the child dressing up the same way as rapper Bligg, it's adorable, so I hope you'll like it if you decide to watch it. :D
7. three words from your native language that you like the most?
- Schnüggel/Schnüggi (noun) / schnüsig (adjective): this basically means someone/something is cute, adorable, absolutely endearing. If uwu was an actual word you could use to refer to people, it would be these here!^-^ You can call someone a schnüggel/schnüggi or say something is schnüsig when you're busting uwus over them/it. If you use it to refer to a person, it can definitely be a pet name!^-^
- Bettmümpferli: this is a little treat (usually a piece of chocolate) that you'll find on the pillow the first night you're staying at a hotel. It can also be viewed as a smol midnight snack.
- Bodesuri / Mannsgöggeli: these are both terms to describe someone who's tiny™. The first one is genderless and is also used to refer to children and toddlers. The latter is used especially when referring to a figurine but can also be used to describe a guy who's actually tiny like our cute baby Changbin for example. Note: "Bodesuri" literally refers to a spinner that's spinning around on the ground.
15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?
"Ja Richi, i ha gseit du sölsch di guät häbe" (this id being written in many different way but I prefer to write it like this as that's how I hear him pronounce it)
This became a huge meme and pretty much every Swiss person knows of this meme. There was this news report/story from this Swiss family who lives in the Canadian forest and the dad is showing his little son, named "Richi", how he handles an excavator. They want to exit the vehicle again but it's a bit high to jump down for the son, so the dad told him to hold on tightly while he puts him down and then the son doesn't do so, and falls down. He starts crying and the dad shouts the aforementioned phrase which basically means "Richi I told you to hold on tightly". Poor little Richi luckily didn't get injured but instead, this moment became a huge meme here.
here's the video if you wanna watch it😂

---
Lucky.
You couldn’t have asked for a situation to be luckier.  Her heartbeat could have doubled as a production drum track. One of her classmates, another girl from the inner city, looked bored as they sat in the auditorium. They both wanted to make music, good music - exciting music. They wanted to be at the forefront of technology and techniques for producing. They wanted the keys to the kingdom of hit songs.
The college decided that they could only get that experience - by working with the best of the best. They had invited a range of performers to come and discuss their methodology. Each had a formula that worked for them. Each performer had a story to connect to their songs. It wasn’t about the number one hit, it was about making honest music. About being true to themselves in the best way they can. Especially in an industry, and a country, that didn’t always accept differences.
She had been listening to various music styles, genres, and languages from a young age. It started in Jr. High, taking Spanish in 7th grade. She followed that throughout her High School time. She’s not embarrassed to say that Ricky Martin was apart of her foray into the Latin sounds. She listened to older songs, love songs, the music, and the story enthralled her.
Japanese animation spurred her love for J-Rock and J-Pop. X-Japan dragged her into the world, Dir en Grey kept her attention. She was in love with Visual Kei. Old rock, alternative rock, a smidge of country, and anything with a beat that caused her to lean her head toward it. She was an audiophile, plain, and simple.
Lead by a thin thread of melody until she had to devour the whole discography of an artist. She wanted to know all the ins and outs of the industry. Granted, there were other worthwhile fields to explore, so she was told. There was almost an expectation of finding easy money in business or even medical fields. She wrote poetry and song lyrics as long as she could remember. Music had been apart of the highs and lows of her life. She could associate a song for every pivotal moment of her life. The playlist spanned generations and the globe. It started when someone introduced her to Super Junior. Then it spiraled into 2NE1, Shinhwa, and the list went on and on.
She was so thankful her family didn’t try to limit her. Her parents expected her to be open-minded to the world around her. It was something instilled in her upbringing. That open-minded was the bane of her existence during her high school years, unfortunately. In a place where anything different made you strange or weird. She didn’t care for the urban selections that most of her friends were into.
There were times when her father put on his old school albums that she felt a connection. She wanted the story of music. She wanted the lyrics to strike her heart. That’s what she wanted in her music. She tried to write music, make music like that. All the artists she admired took chances, grew, and came back with something new.
And now?
She was sitting in an auditorium waiting for the most significant thing in music to come speak to their group.
She had a plethora of questions, worries, and fears. Everyone on the planet had heard about BTS at this point. There were a few of them who had managed to jump on the train early. Especially finding that they were working with legends in the rap community. Some watched expecting a spectacle - and to a degree? It was a spectacle.
Some wanted to see the thinking process of pinnacles of music that filled many a block party or high school dance. Let’s not forget backyard BBQs and family gatherings. Songs that whether you cared for the genre or not? Still managed to cause your body to move.
An elbow dug into her side as her friend stared wide-eyed at the line of men entering the auditorium. They were all seated semi-circle on the stage. BTS stood in front as the students clapped.
The boys had soft, quiet, smiles waving as RM straightened with a smooth phrase. It was almost military in precision as they saluted, bowed, and introduced themselves. They each took a moment to say hello in English at that. She tilted her head as they spoke.
It’s always a treat to hear a singer’s speaking voice. Some sharply contrasted their sounds. Others were no different from one to the other. She enjoyed the vocal textures, rich, or light tones as they spoke. Her friend saw her grinning like an idiot as her eyes rolled.
“Girl, get yourself together!” Tasha finally whispered to her. There was a thick swallow as she realized what she’d been doing. The boys were provided seats and microphones. They were treated to an acoustic version of one of their songs. To see the look of shock on the other student’s faces was an absolute treat.
She could only smile as time seemed to zip by. Filled with questions and curiosities. She asked all the questions she could. Always sure to ask for clarification, examples, and advice. RM was ready with a smooth, dimpled smile as he translated.
They all had solos under their belts at this time. So it was interesting to hear their thought processes. They all had one thing in common, though. The need to tell a story and convey emotion. To make sure that those who heard their music heard a message. It had been the most successful tactic thus far.
“So that ends our time. Everyone lets give BTS a round of applause!” The professor stood, the students followed. The boys bowed again and joined in the applause. They all gathered to shake hands, thanking them for taking time out of their grueling schedule.
RM raises his hands, spreading them wide. “Thank you for your time! We’ll see you tonight!” Everyone stared blankly at him, then their professor, who smiled widely. “Oh, I forgot to mention. We have permission to go backstage and watch operations for a tour.” To say that the sound that rose from the sudden silence was almost choral? It echoed off the walls as hands shook vigorously, shoulders were clapped - and the excitement caused tears.
“Alright, let’s get a picture!” The professor tried to get them all to find a spot. She managed to shake hands with most of the boys. Before she got a chance to shake Taehyung’s hand, they were being herded for a photo. She wound up, almost stepping on his foot as she tried to find a comfortable position. She wanted to shrink into nothingness. There was a bit of jostling before they used the bleachers to get them higher. She remembered one of the first words of Korean she’d learned. An apologetic smile as she mumbled an apology. Tae gave that infamous boxy smile with a wave of his hand. Tasha pulled her close as they sat on the bleachers smiling as the picture was taken. “Alright, you guys, meet back here in an hour - we’ll get shuttled to the stadium. Make sure you have your IDs..” The professor went on about etiquette, decorum, and rules. Nobody was listening - there was too much of a buzz about the show. They dispersed, waving the band members off. She bit into the bottom of her lip as they disappeared.
“Oh. My. God!” Tasha grabbed her and spun around. They laughed as she eyed her friend.
“Wait a minute, you were unimpressed just about an hour ago.” Tasha’s brow shot up with a devious grin.
“Girl, we get to go behind the scenes of the hottest tour yet! I may not understand anything - but I’m happy for the opportunity.” Tasha laughed as she tapped the base of a high ponytail. She pursed her lips, swinging its length. “Honey, that RM, though?” Ah, how many times had she heard that?
“Come on, I have to make sure you don’t embarrass me,” Tasha smirked, yanking her by the arm.
“W-what? That’s mean, Tasha!” She frowned slightly as the other woman rolled her eyes.
“It’s the truth.” She quipped as they hurried across the campus to her dorm.
“We’re going backstage, there’s nothing to dress for.” She kept the frown on her face Tasha bouldered into her apartment and pulled her in.
“Hush! Shower, now!” Tasha was taking no excuses as she pointed to the bathroom.
She grunted, rolling her eyes trudging to the bathroom.
Tasha respected her need to stay ‘practical’ about everything. She preferred oversized shirts, nearly formless skirts, and pants. Her friend wasn’t about that tonight. Tasha stuck her in a pair of jeans, a button-down shirt slightly tucked. She wore a pair of ankle boots accented with a silver chain. And by the time Tasha finished with her makeup? She hardly recognized herself.
“T-Tasha, I think you went a little overboard?” Her friend had just finished her own face. The subtle smokey eye with lower-liner really made her eyes pop! Tasha smirked as she grabbed their bags and pushed her out of the door.
“You’re not used to wearing makeup. Of course, you’d think it was too much.” The other woman rolled her eyes as they sprinted back to the meetup spot with minutes to spare. They all clambered on the shuttle.
All of a sudden, they were there. This was real.
They were walked through the various crew hiding spots. The makeshift dressing spaces underneath the stage. Everything was centrally located for the ease of the members.  The head PD was showing the group the setups, the chasers, and they finally arrived in ‘Monitor World.’ The place that was basically production HQ.
Some took notes, some lingered in the back looking around. Not her, no. She wanted to know what buttons did what. She wanted to know how they were sure that the upper-level fans could hear appropriately.
There were a few people with her curious about various other things. They could hear the crowd until they queued the chase pattern for the opening song. The boys rose from a floor lift. The group went wild as they started in on Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Walkie talkies were going off left and right. Every time something could possibly go wrong? It was pointed out, corrected, and communicated. It was a tight run ship. They moved along to the area under the stage, just as the boys were lowered for a set and costume change.
They were breathing heavy, sweating, and peeling their costumes off. There were people on the sides taking them, ushering them into the makeshift spaces. The students stayed back out of the way. The transition was so fast the students couldn’t help but stare wide-eyed. They made it back to the control hub.
As if to make sure they were paying attention? The Head PD asked them to point out what they remembered. Tasha nudged her with a thumbs up. You got this, she mouthed. Everyone shifted on their feet as they fought to not being first.
She straightened her posture as she stepped forward. “I’d like to give it a try.” The Head PD double-blinked as stood next to him. Ah, it was probably her height. She offered a gentle smile and nod, “If that’s ok?”
“Please do. The routine is the same as before.” He smiled with his walkie talkie in hand. She took a deep breath, stepping closer to the operators at the panel. A headset sat on her head as the plethora of voices filled her ear.
The Head PD let them know that a student was making the calls, but he was overseeing. Two more students joined the panel board, the techs looking over their shoulders and pointing out controls.
She counted them down for each new element.
The lights went dark as the chase pattern activated. They could do this - she could do this.
45 very long minutes later?
“Holy fuck, you did it?!” Tasha grabbed her in a frantic hug. “Y-you really fucking did it! I was scared shitless, man!” Her mind was still hazy over what just occurred. Tasha looped their arms together as the concert sailed to a close. They stood in the back eyes trained to the fireworks display above them.
“I thought I was going to vomit.” She admitted quietly. Tasha moved rainbow-colored braids from her face.
“You should be proud of yourself.” They shared a smile as the professor rounded them up again. They followed the road crew as the stage was broken down. The last fans had long gone, and they were all alone again. The trucks, vans, and equipment checked and secured. She had followed the equipment with a few other students. They watched the breakdown and helped to carry pieces to be stored. There were, of course, a few quips of concern as she hauled a miniature subwoofer to the van.
She politely reinforced her ability to contribute and promptly turned with the item in hand. She rolled up her sleeves, forearms contracting as she moved along the corridor. Ah, why did she let Tasha try to doll her up? The familiar burn in her muscles ebbed away as she handed the equipment to the technical director. She was at home when she could tomboy her way through situations.
She offered a bow turning to make her way back to the main group. A moment too long of watching everything around her left her in an area she didn’t recognize. A frown as she spun in a circle taking the next left turn under the created passageways - and she slammed into something.
“Ah!” A voice, male exclaimed as she staggered backward.
She stumbled, and that someone, thankfully, pulled her arm hard to keep her from landing on her rump. She sucked in a breath as her gaze lifted. “Shit! I’m sorry! I wasn’t watching where I was-” A grunt rumbled through the air as her eyes went wide. “Oh.”
Kim Taehyung was plucking the final buttons from his shirt. His gaze lowered to the floor as he fought off exhaustion. They had to get changed to meet up on the stage again. It took him a little longer to get the cramps out of his legs. He barely made out a shadow before his body collided with it.
He saw her bounce from foot to foot before he pulled her arm. He heard the remorse in her voice as she rambled. His brow furrowed as she spoke too quick for him to pick out words. He still had his fingers wrapped around her forearm as she looked up at him.
She smelled … magnificent. His lashes lowered, nostrils flaring, on an inhale. She watched the perfect heart shape of his mouth part softly. She lowered her gaze to the expanse of flesh in her face. He was one button away from a cheesy romance novel cover.
They stood in silence, trading body heat before she glanced at the long fingers burning into her skin. Their gazes locked again, “You should be more careful.” He rumbled softly. Her lip caught between her teeth as she nodded rapidly.
“R-right. I’m sorry. Thank you.” She coughed softly, stepping away from him. His fingers still lingered until they loosened. Her eyes were wide as she turned on her heel, trying to get back out to the main walkway without that hint of desperation in her steps.
Tasha came rounding the corner at that very moment. “Hey! They’re waiting on us on stage for a final picture. Come on! I’m not missing this because of you.” Her friend yanked her along with a stupid grin on her face.
“Tae, Hyung, come on!” Jeongguk showed up as Tae went in the opposite direction. The maknae let him in their makeshift space. He helped Tae peel out of a sweaty costume. “I can’t wait to get some food and a beer.” Tae shrugged on a turtle neck, an oversized sweatshirt, and black slacks.
“That makes two of us.” The visual croaked tiredly. “Come on, then.” Jeongguk gave that bunny-like smile as he dragged Tae toward the stage. Tae sulked, “What are you doing?”
Jeongguk’s brow shot up as they walked into the wings. “We have to take a picture with the class from earlier!” Tae rolled his eyes as he was dragged out. They made it in time for Namjoon to address everyone.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to meet you all. Good luck in the future. Please wish us well - and maybe? We’ll see you backstage with us someday!” There was a round of applause as everybody tried to find a spot to fit in the picture. Tasha winked as she made her way over to squeeze near Namjoon.
The betrayal of it all! She laughed as Tasha found a sweet spot to brag about later. She, on the other hand, wanted to just kneel down the front. The professor frowned with a wave of her hand, “Come on, you know you’re too tall up here! Stand back there.” There was a grimace on her face as she moved to the back. They were staged in layers again.
“Everybody in!” She felt jostled as arms pulled against her shoulders. Before she had a moment to register anything? Jeongguk squeezed on one side of her, his arm around Taehyung, who squeezed on the other.
Students, Staff, and Band were connected in the joy of a show well done. The camera flashed, and she smiled on autopilot. A few flashes, more applause, and she was quick to escape the trap she found herself in.
Jeongguk had caught a whiff of something pleasant, tilting his head curiously at the tall female. Both he and Tae seemed to find each other’s gaze as they flitted looks at the woman between them.
She turned to shake their hands with a quiet thank you. Both of them seemed to take TOO LONG to let her hand go. She beat feet in Tasha’s direction as soon as she could. Tasha had this dreamy look on her face after speaking to Namjoon for a few minutes.
“Is this what heaven is like?” Tasha’s eyes were glassy and hooded. You’d think the girl finished smoking an exquisite bouquet of the studded sticks.
“It could be, Tash. It could be.” She smiled, turning to look at the empty stadium. The students have all huddled together once again. The professor was talking with the TDs and PDs, even Namjoon was there. There was a look of stern concentration on various faces. A cellphone in the middle of the group seemed to be the main focus.
The chill in the air didn’t phase them as they spoke of their experience. They lamented their mistakes. They reveled in techniques to apply later. They were buzzing with excitement and a renewed appreciation for following their current educational path.
“Ok, everyone, listen up!” Their professor walked back over with a massive smile on her face. Tasha was rambling with her arms wrapped around her frame. She could see the heat of breath wavering in the air. The professor’s excitement was palpable with a gesture back to the team behind her. Suddenly, she could feel her heart thundering against her rib cage. Maybe the others could hear it too? They all got quiet.
They were all staring at each other, then at her. Her mouth was half-open as white noise filled her head. Her brow furrowed deeply as others around her wore looks of shock and disbelief. Then there was more applause.
Tasha grabbed her, jumping up and down, her voice pitched to shrieking. She felt her body shake as she turned the dazed look to her friend.
W-wait, what?
Tasha cupped her face and looked ready to cry. She blinked down into her friend’s face, prepared to be violently sick.
She turned back to the professor, catching the end of her statement as her hearing filtered back in.
“…you passed…” Her eyes went wide. “…intense work-study opportunity…” She was surely going to be sick. “…traveling with the tour…” More applause. “You’ll still need to complete courses, you’ll be provided with online links.” She staggered into Tasha, who laughed even louder.
“We wanted to see how this first run would work, and you surpassed all expectations. Congratulations, you’ll set the tone for the future students of the program.”
You blinked back tears as you engulfed Tasha in a hug. Not only were you all going to be able to get the first-hand experience? You’ll get it with BTS. It all made sense as to why they required a passport as an admission qualification. The professor stepped away to join the technical team while you all rejoiced. Namjoon and the rest of BTS gathered to shake your hands, and offer their congratulations.
Comments expecting good things ahead were traded. She was happy. This was unbelievable - a stroke of luck.
Tasha managed to steal a hug from Namjoon, crying almost harder when she turned around. A firm hand landed on her own, leaving her with a beaming Jeongguk. A half bow, a smile, a nod of thanks as he lingered. Taehyung all but moved the maknae aside to get her hand in his again.
He had that arrogant tilt to his head. The tip of his tongue caught between his teeth as he lifted her hand. The light caught the dark chocolate of his gaze as he let his breath ghost across her knuckles.
He eased up, flashing a boxy smile before grabbing Tasha, doing the same. She shook off the strangeness of it all, turning to her friend with open arms.
“We did it!”
Their arms looped as they finally made their way off stage. The shuttle was waiting to get them to a small celebration. She still couldn’t help looking over her shoulder. For just a moment, she felt something staring a hole into her shoulder from the shadows.
Her brow furrowed as Tasha pulled her attention forward.
…just missing the two silhouettes lingering in the wings.

No Words  -Interlude-
Tumblr media
[A/N - felt the need to roll back before moving forward. So, you’ll get two releases this weekend! This is the first of two, maybe 3? Then we’ll get back to the present next week! Thank you for reading this mess of a story!]
BTS - V Imagine - Tall Girl - Interracial - Interlude [Flashback]
Lucky.
You couldn’t have asked for a situation to be luckier.  Her heartbeat could have doubled as a production drum track. One of her classmates, another girl from the inner city, looked bored as they sat in the auditorium. They both wanted to make music, good music - interesting music.
The boys had soft, quiet, smiles waving as RM straightened with a soft phrase.
She smelled ... magnificent.

Is there a way to know your past lives even when youre not an oracle? Im really curious, its v interesting.
There are many ways, as you are always able to connect with your own intuition and guidance (needs practice, like any other skill). You can try these and check how their results feel to you. If it feels good, good! If it feels bad or like nothing, then it is not right information to you (or you are not ready to receive the info).
- List down things, places, timelines, countries, event, buildings, people, foods, music, languages etc. you REALLY like and feel connected to. Anything which stirs your soul has a good change to be related to one of your past life. For example, my heart is always at ease when I see pictures of Japanese mountains and Scottish landscapes, as those use to be my home surroundings. One morning at 5am in Japan, I was watching how mist rose up from the forest covered mountains. and I cried without being able to control myself - it touched me so deeply. It felt like I had arrived home.
- List down things, places, timelines, countries, event, buildings, people, food, music, languages etc. you REALLY DO not like and which give you bad or uneasy feeling. Phobias are really good indicators of traumatic past live events! I have had a dentist phobia since I was a toddler (with no reason). Turned out just a few years ago that I was tortured for a crime I did not do by pulling me teeth out in one of my life times. After this memory, my dental phobia cured 80% over one night!
- Youtube has plenty, plenty, plenty of guided past live meditations. Try those! You might need to search until you find a one which feels comfortable to listen to. If you can’t meditate, it is fine. Some people can’t and there’s nothing wrong with it.
- Youtube also have Pick A Card-readings for past lives. I have not tried these, but if I were you, Id give them a try. Again, you might need to go through many videos until you find the one which works for you.
- Pay attention to dreams. Very often past lives or hints of them appear in a dream.
- What natural skills do you have? Many natural skills are old memories from past lives. I’ve always been drawn to this spiritual side of life (I was very spiritual child while my family was not). I have been using spiritual skills in past lives, too.
- Things which have been with you since childhood can very often be connected to a past life. Did you have some special interest as a child, even for a short period of time? I was super interested about army and Vietnam’s war when I was 9yo, and very into knights around age 14-16. I have past lives connected to both of these things.
- Do you have strange birthmarks or “scars”? Or illnesses which do not seem to cure/which are chronic? Sometimes physical traumas we go through in a past life can stay with us as memories in the body; birthmarks, scars, chronic health conditions. I used to have a white spot looking like an old healed scar on my stomach. It baffled me as it looked like the scar my father has got from his youth when he was in a motorcycle accident. I’ve been shot in one past life. The shooting killed me.
- TRUST YOUR GUT FEELINGS! Hints of past lives are exactly hints. For some, you might find an answer/explanation easily. For some, perhaps never. I fear water and I know I must have been drowned in some past life (or someone dear to me drowned), but I can’t access that past life. Which leads me to a final note:
Please remember that you will only gain information you are ready to hear. In very rare cases, past life information is blocked from you and other readers until the time is right. I have encountered such a case only once in my long career as a past life medium and an oracle. A friend of mine was unable to get any past life information herself or from professionals, and it lasted almost 20 years until something happened, and she was ready to receive some information. Her lives had been very bad and one of the professionals said that the information of her past lives is hidden, so that she can rest and heal in this life time. Talk about a good block for your own well-being!
Also remember that linear time exists in this physical realm only. In spirit, all time exists NOW. This means a soul can enter any time period or a country as often as it needs or wants to. It sounds very illogical from this linear time view, but your past life can take a place in a year 2312 or you might have had 3 different past life experiences in 1800′s.  It’s very complicated to think logically - like many spiritual non-physical things are. Anita Moorjani speaks about this. She died and went to the spirit realm, where she was able to inspect one other of her lives - aka past lives - which were happening simultaneously with her current life as Anita.
BE PATIENT! There’s no hurry :3 I’ve been on a spiritual path three decades, and I still do not know all of my past lives. It is normal to have lots of details of some life time and just tiny hints of some other.
Finally, the most important note:
HAVE FUN! :3P.S. Would anyone of you want a professionally made past life reading, you can order one from me. Examples are in my Tumblr at tagged/past_lives

Rules: Answer 21 questions and then tag 21 people who you want to get to know better.
tagged by @elizabethsyson
Nickname: Muggle is my nickname, but when I went by Muggle in person for more than a month at a time, it naturally got abbreviated, usually to Mugz
Zodiac: Aquarius
Last movie I saw: into the spiderverse (same answer as last time. I don't watch that many movies tbh except around Christmas. unless YouTube counts in which case... music of some sort? idk links for the next answer)
Favorite musician: changes by the day. I've kinda been in an acapella and/or folk music mood recently so the Maccabeats and Peter Hollens are in my YouTube and Spotify history a lot recently. also I'm eternally in awe of Forte Handbell Quartet (eta a longer video; i recommend skipping to the techno piece or the Jurassic Park theme)
Last thing I googled: "vine why are you buying clothes at the soup store" (my wife hasn't seen it; also i can't find the vine because apparently it's a much bigger meme than I realized). before that it was "chgrp not root" because work and group permissions are useful when they work
Song stuck in my head: well for most of the day when I haven't been actively listening to something, it's been the Pokemon RSE route-walking music. (but that somehow happens frequently when I'm in the no-music-no-internet room at work, as I was for most of the day, and I don't know how I accidentally trained my brain to make that connection). right now, surprisingly, I don't have any background music playing in my head. I think it's because the humidifier provides just enough white noise that my brain doesn't feel the need to provide its own
Other blogs: my main is @muggle-the-hat and I'm a mod on @why-do-neurotypicals but we've gotten one ask ever so that blog has been dormant for a while. I have a bunch of other sideblogs, but they're all small and I use different screen names on each of them (enby life: no idea which name suits me best so I may as well try them out) so i feel like it would just confuse things to link them.
Following: blogs matching all the themes of my sideblogs, (including this one, which is writeblr), korean langblr, jumblr, assorted fandom blogs, authors of my more favorite fanfictions (some overlap with other categories), and irl friends and acquaintances (including one fandom blog turned irl friend)
Do I get asks: on my main if at all, which isn't really surprising because i have hundreds of followers there and maybe 60 followers combined among the rest. but I get asks far less often than I reblog ask memes so... I'm always happy to get more. I do get tagged in ask games more on this one, but writeblr is actually vaguely organized about tag lists so that makes sense. also I used to get tagged a bunch on my main and I rarely could find the posts again to follow up when I had time to answer.
What I’m Wearing: pajamas. staying warm and cozy
Lucky number: I don't remember what I said last time, but I like a lot of numbers. 64 is a good number. recently I've been debugging software in which 0x3E is my lucky status number and 0x0E taunts me. (um, decimal 62 and 14). Also my other favorite number i can't share until it's no longer the combination to the lock to the Secret Room. (or realistically never because opsec and i shouldn't make public the types of parents we use for that combination lock), honestly I aim to be like.... ah, I'm sure the anecdote involves G.H. Hardy but i don't remember on which side. anyway one mathematician remarked to another about how the id number of the taxi he rode in was sadly uninteresting, and the one I aspire to be like, argued "what are you talking about, this number is interesting because ______" and I'd like to be able to do that for any arbitrary number thrown at me. (hi yes math is good, history is hard, math history is interesting yet i still forget the people even if i remember the math. except when things are named after people, but that tends to be, like, Euler and LaGrange and other people who did lots of cool science things so i remember the methods and the names of the methods separately which never helps)
Amount of sleep: ....depression both screws with my sleep schedule and means I always feel like I need more sleep except when I wake up at 5pm and feel like I've wasted the day. so yeah. I can never get enough sleep
Favorite food: yes (why do I have to pick a favorite?) uh, chocolate in most forms, many other sweet things, red meats (especially if served with potatoes), curry (especially if it has "too much" ginger), fresh-baked bread, chai the way my favorite local Indian restaurant makes it (spicier with just a little bit of sweet, which is the opposite of what i can get from the mocha machine at work which is wayyy sweet with a hint of spice but that inferior chai is still superior to coffee so i drink too much of it). also vegetables which I really don't eat enough of: sauteed zucchini and onions, roasted broccoli
Dream trip: dreaming requires creativity and tbh I funnel that mostly into my writing instead. I wouldn't mind going back to Korea for another visit though
Dream job: my current job is pretty good when I feel productive and when my debugging tools actually produce data maybe??? (they were not being helpful today. but i still mostly like my job.) dream job is probably this but with seniority and confidence and double the salary (while living in a similar area of the country; I wouldn't want to double my salary by moving to work for Google in California and having less available after rent than I do now)
Describe yourself as aesthetic things:
the smell of old books
the first glow of sunrise (the sunrise painting the mountains pink and gold)
a rainbow in the spray from a waterfall
the flicker of distant lightning (watching a thunderstorm fade into the distance)
this picture
Tumblr media
Random fact: about me or about the world?
how about a combination answer: when we got our new handbell music this season, we only looked at half the pieces our first rehearsal and afterwards I tried to look up one of the pieces we hadn't gotten to on YouTube because it's got a weird time signature and I wanted to get a feel for how fast it would go and how strict the counting is...... except it turns out we're the first group to ever play the piece. it was commissioned recently but seeing my conductor's name on the page didn't tell me how new it was because he's super prolific. (the fact that it was on printer paper without the publisher's graphics should have been a giveaway but it's only the second time I've been among the first to play one of his pieces so I think I can be excused for not realizing)
Languages: mostly just English, but I took Spanish for years, so I can hold simple conversations in it. I can almost read sound out Hebrew fast enough to keep up in services, and I know some random Hebrew vocab but comparatively no grammar. and I took Korean in college, enough that I can recognize sentence structure but I can really only speak tourist-Korean, though I can sound anything out (if it's typed. handwriting is hit or miss.) in both Hebrew and Korean (and Spanish tbh but i don't often listen to Spanish music) I'm very proud when I can separate the words enough, listening to a song, to translate them without looking up the lyrics. also I tried to learn Japanese from Duolingo when it was new, but I still hadn't gotten the kana straight when it started progressing to kanji so that was a rough time and I went back to Hebrew.
tbh I "dabble" in "language learning" which really means I start a million courses on Duo and stick with none of them. with the notable exception of French, which I acknowledge is super common and probably a good idea to learn but the spelling and pronunciation seem so arbitrary I'm scared to look close enough to learn it properly, and I've never particularly considered starting the Duolingo course for French
I think I lost a few questions, because that's only 18 answers. whoops.
um... who to tag
@abluescarfonwaston if school hasn't drowned you in work yet and @copperscales I'm interested in both of your choices for lucky numbers especially.
... wow I'm blanking on other mutuals I haven't tagged recently. as usual lmk if you'd like to be edited in, or just answer the questions and tag me back, that's great too.

Heyo
Name: Kayla
Age: 17
Location: Indiana, U.S.A.
October child-- fall is the best season, your argument is invalid.
Music Taste: I enjoy a variety of music, but currently I am in love with electro swing. I occasionally listen to MCR and TOP, y'know, that group of musical groups. I love classical music and often listen to Christian Gospel. I very much enjoy music that can get my brain thinking up new ideas and stories and characters. Any music that shows up in Guardians of the Galaxy is probably a good bet for me.
Home Life: I'm the youngest of four children and the only one left at home. Junior in high school who is starting to really dread being an adult and having to be responsible. I live with both of my parents and we have a Yorkshire Terrier named Koko and a cat named Kirkland. We are planning on moving to a different house soon, and it's in my plans to paint the Union Jack on a wall or closet door in my new room. I really don't do anything but mess around on my computer, haha. I'm starting a job soon, though, so that's gonna have to change and I'm going to have to really buckle down to stay focused on school and life.
Personal Religious Beliefs: It is my personal belief that causes me to follow the Christian religion (Baptist Protestant to be precise... if you're interested in knowing what exactly this is, here's a website: https://www.newsmax.com/fastfeatures/baptists-protestant-beliefs-apart-christians/2015/04/02/id/635795/). Now, as mentioned, I am "Baptist." However, there are some things that my family and I believe that are different than the traditional baptist view. Also, please note that baptist churches differ from one another, so please, please, don't link us to the Westboro Baptist Church. I don't even have to argue this point... they are not acting as true Christians are expected and supposed to and are giving Christians/Baptists a bad name, and that makes me very, very sad. That being said... even if I don't agree with your life style, I'll gladly talk to and accept you. As long as you don't knock me for my beliefs and lifestyle, I won't knock you for yours (Unless there is actually a prevalent problem that requires you to seek actual physical help). I believe in our (American people) rights as Americans, and not only that, but as people, almost as much as I do my religion and beliefs.
Interests: Memes. Vines. Sh*tposts. Certain anime. Culture. Language. Writing. Music. S O C  I O L O G Y  A N D  P S Y C H O L O G Y. Other countries. My country. Just countries in general. I love flags. Flags are cool. Crime shows. Just Monika. Just Monika. Just Monika. I love watching Game Grumps. I enjoy Caleb Hyles's covers. Making fun of the movie Phantom of the Opera, although the music is d o p e. I enjoy playing the Sims. I very much enjoy planning out my characters and stories without actually writing anything lololol. Occasionally I'll draw.
Fandoms Past & Present: Hetalia (save me), Pokemon, FNAF (I'm not cringy), TMNT, Psych, Fruits Basket, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Sonic(noT CRINGY I PROMISE), t h e  s e t h e v e r m a n  f a n d o m, uh, I'm sure there's more, but for now that'll do. OH SHIZ I ALMOST FORGOT AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER. Quality. the tyrant falls in love is my guilty pleasure I'm sorry Lord above
If Fahrenheit 451 is a fandom, then sure, I'll join because I very much enjoyed that book.
Favorites: Show- Psych; Colour- Red; Animal- Ferret; Food type- Chinese
Other: I'm currently studying French and I hope to one day be able to travel the world. My goal is to make it to Moscow, Russia one day. I don't know what I want to do for a career yet, but maybe something to do with sociology and psychology. I advocate for people with mental issues even if I don't (think) I have any. Etc. etc.
If you're interested in contacting me, it'll make me super happy. :D
I don't really have any requirements, other than maybe no snail-mail... yet. :)

Do you like lazar tag?: Never been.
What about miniature golf?: Never been.

Have you ever been to Bear Lake in Saskatchewan?: No.
Do you have any t-shirts you’ve owned for 7 ½ years that still fit you?: How specific, but yes. Some older than that.

Do you mourn for a place or person you’ve never known? i definitely do. i long for something more.

How To Get Verified On Instagram
Tumblr media
We all like to build an account on Instagram and influence people on some level. However, posting often or publishing a great content, even engaging with your followers is not enough. It is a matter of getting verified on Instagram! That small blue badge is the winning lottery for approval and to become one of the top influencers on social media.
Why you should get verified on Instagram
Status…Status…Status!
The one word which describes an influencer on social network is status. No matter how famous, respected or liked; when you have status, people will listen to you and get inspired by you. Billions of Instagram users try to put their name out there; even major companies have gained so much from this social application. But, without status, your account is just another number. You will hardly ever get noticed. Your chance to make your business account grow will go down in drains. What is that one critical element which can officially make you the coolest person on earth and earn you status? The blue badge of course!
The company explains further what being verified means “Instagram has confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the public figure, celebrity or global brand it represents.”
The company investigates your account and looks for 4 major characteristics:
Complete
Authentic
Unique
Notable
These characteristics will be further explained and you will see how your account can get them. For the time being, if your brand or company is well-known in whatever industry you are in, you have the chance to obtain the verification.
3 steps to apply for the Blue Badge
1. Open the app
Make sure to open Instagram on your smartphone, go to your profile and click on the button found on the top right. At the bottom of the menu, click on settings, account button then request verification
2. Fill out the verification form
In this section, you will need to add information so that Instagram will consider verifying your account. After your username is automatically filled in, add your full name the exact precise way it is written on your government ID. Next, type what you are known as online. Finally, add your category like music, entertainment, writer, blogger/influencer… But, if you are applying for your business badge, make sure to select business/brand/organization. Before you click on the send button, upload your government- issued personal ID to prove your identity. It is important for the company to know who you are. This may look easy; however, the process of winning the badge goes beyond an application form.
3. Submit your request
You will receive and answer from Instagram in a matter of days. If you did not receive the verification, you can re-apply in 30 days. As long as you wait the given time, you can submit your form several times. However, you must be utterly truthful with the information provided. Instagram states “if you provide false or misleading information during the verification process, we will remove your verified badge and may take additional action to delete your account.”
Furthermore, Instagram has the right to take away your account and badge if you:
Advertise, transfer or sell your verified badge.
Use your profile picture, bio, or name section to promote other services.
Attempt to verify your account through a third party.
The four characteristics to your eligibility
Even though the process of application is easy, you will have to see if your account lives up to the company’s bars. As mentioned earlier, Instagram scans your account looking for 4 major characteristics before handing you the blue badge.
1. Complete:
This criteria is super easy. Instagram states that your account must be public, contains a bio, a profile photo and one post to the least. However, you must not have any additional links to other social network services. Netflix checks the box by having a complete account.
2. Authentic
Your account “must represent a real person, registered business or entity.” Your government ID will prove to Instagram that you are a real person whose goal is to obtain the badge. However if you are applying for your business, the company needs a different explanation. Generally, your name and ID must be proof enough that you work for the requested company. If your name is mentioned in the company’s official website or LinkedIn account, it will be perfect. Instagram employees will have all the information required to proceed with your request. If you are a founder of a brand, you would need to get quoted in articles, speak at events or promote your company’s name on your personal accounts. The idea is to show Instagram that you are tied to this certain company. Better yet, if both your name and the company’s name can be found on Google then you are most likely to be given the badge.
3. Unique:
What Instagram means by this characteristic is that there should be only one account and one representation of your brand. This is obvious unless your brand has different accounts for different countries. For instance, Netflix has several language specific accounts.
A small tip, if you have any fan accounts you might want to mention the word “official” in the account you are trying to promote.
4. Notable:
Out of all the 4 criterias, this one is the hardest because it requires a lot of time. Let’s explain in two parts.
The first part focuses on being famous and highly searched. It is extremely important for you or your brand’s name to be mentioned in the world of media. For example, you or your work should be featured in magazines, newspapers, influential blogs and other media. In addition, Instagram has a way of knowing whether your brand has a high volume of searches or not. Therefore, it is better to enhance your marketing so your brand gets searched online.
The second part sheds light on paid reviews. Instagram does not take paid advertising into consideration. So, if you use Instagram Ads or have an influencer promoting your brand then you should probably reconsider your marketing strategies.
What to do if you can’t get verified on Instagram?
Like any opportunity in the world, there is a 50% chance of it not working out. If that’s the case then you can reapply again in 30 days. Instagram does not have a specific number of times to apply for the badge. The sky is the limit!
However, if you get rejected, try working on your account by increasing Instagram engagement before applying again. Remember that you have to fit all four characteristics. It is so easy to check two out of the four boxes: complete and unique. Just think of what you can do to make your account authentic and notable. It is advisable to create more video content or evoke some interest by writing gripping captions.
If you want to figure out what is missing. Here are some additional ideas:
Is your brand featured in the media? How many times? If not, what are your targeted sites?
What social proof can you use to your advantage? Did you manage to do any collaboration with other brands?
Use Google Keyword Planner to find out how many times your brand has been searched per month.
The Takeaway
Being granted the blue badge would be like winning a golden ticket after years of determination and hard work. If your brand is well-known and influential in your field of expertise then you have nothing to worry about. With a dash of confidence and good marketing, status will be earned and it will be yours!

MESSAGE FROM CYNTHIA BRIAN, Founder/Executive Director
“You are so lucky! You have red blood!” my mother chimed when, as children, any of us would injure ourselves and be bleeding. We’d immediately stop crying and be grateful that our red blood meant that we were humans and not some form of alien. We were taught that every person was equal. No one was better or worse than anyone else and that no matter what color our skin, what God we worshipped, what gender we were, where we came from, or what language we spoke, we all deserved the opportunity to succeed and be happy. We were taught to work hard, respect others, and live by the golden rule. “Care, share, and be fair” was a family motto.
The last few weeks have been tragic for humans. Not only is the world struggling to survive a pandemic with Covid-19, but the death of an unarmed Black man, George Floyd, by an officer sworn to protect and serve us, has struck a deep wound in our global consciousness. Our hearts go out to his family and friends and to all the other people who have endured racist encounters. Fear and pain are prevailing. There is no place for racism and bigotry in our country. We are all human.
Here at Be the Star You Are!®, we are color blind. We welcome everyone-black, brown, yellow, beige, white, and any color in between. Be the Star You Are!® supports all ethnicity’s, genders, cultures, and has no religious or political agendas or affiliations. Our goal is to amplify your inner greatness and help you be the best person possible by improving literacy, increasing positive media messages, and offering tools for living a purposeful life.
Protesting is our right as Americans and peaceful protests are valuable. Looting and rioting is counter-productive and only leads to more violence, hatred, and alienation. It is time that we all stopped to listen and hear what others are saying and feeling. We must empathize and start conversations that can lead to healing. I have always believed that ALL LIVES MATTER. But right now, we need to embrace BLACK LIVES MATTER because black men and black women are suffering deeply. Our volunteer Karen Kitchel, shared a video that you may have already watched, but it is worth viewing again. It displays the disparity between a life of privilege and one of racial inequality. Watch it here:
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BEwiqrXrjw
No one must be shackled. It’s time to break down the walls of differences. We must come together to create positive, systemic change that will provide dignity, respect, opportunities, and resources to all. We can each be a catalyst for change.
Once we learn to communicate and collaborate, we will escape to innovate.
Be the Star You Are!® is proud to have been serving the community, country, and world since 1999 with resources to create a better future.
Become color blind. We all bleed red.
  Stay safe. Stay strong.

      THE REAL MEANING OF DIGNITY
by Karen Kitchel
“Dignity has the potential to change the world, but only if people like you help to spread its profound message” concluded Donna Hicks in the Psychology Today article “What Is the Real Meaning of Dignity?”
We are all born with dignity, which is different than respect which must be earned. Every individual has worth as a human being and wants to be treated as someone with value.
Everyone wants to be heard and to feel safe in the world. When we feel included, we gain a sense of hope and possibility. Receiving an apology when someone does us harm is a way to reconnect. “I’m sorry” can be two of the most powerful words anyone can utter.
Building strong relationships can be as easy as asking for opinions, listening to concerns and including others in conversations.  Seek out someone you don’t know and take a step in changing the world.
Karen Kitchel penned two chapters in the book, Be the Star You Are! Millennials to Boomers Celebrating Gifts of Positive Voices in a Changing Digital World, and is a dedicated volunteer with BTSYA. She serves meals to the homeless and is a volunteer teacher, writer, job coach, and mentor. www.scatteringkindness.com

        THE IMPACT OF ILLITERACY-Young Children
by Stephanie Cogeos
According to a recent study by the U.S. Department of Education, 32 million American adults are illiterate, 21% read below a 5th grade level and 19% of high school graduates are functionally illiterate, meaning they cannot read well enough to manage and perform daily living tasks. This can be avoided when people are aware of these statistics and what lack of literacy skills can cause.
When children do not learn to read and write effectively, it affects them and their families.  The psychological effect impacts their progress during their early school years. It can also make math and science just as difficult. About 80% of a child’s brain is developed by age 3 and a key period of development occurs in their language and literacy skills. The quality of early childhood education can be determined by one’s economic status. Half of all children by age 5 living in poverty are not academically or socially ready for school, studies have shown (Center on Children and Families at Brookings).  Poverty is a risk factor for illiteracy. By fourth grade, 80% of low-income children read at below grade level. Falling behind during critical years will also affect social skills, health and economic status later in their lives.  Low literacy often impacts a person’s health, preventative healthcare actions and taking medications correctly as well as impacting them psychologically. Shame, fear, low self-confidence, low self-esteem are all impacted by how well a person can effectively communicate and read and educate themselves.  All these things can have a negative impact on society in general.  These things can be avoided.

No one must be shackled. It’s time to break down the walls of differences. We must come together to create positive, systemic change that will provide dignity, respect, opportunities, and resources to all. We can each be a catalyst for change.
Once we learn to communicate and collaborate, we will escape to innovate.
Be the Star You Are!® is proud to have been serving the community, country, and world since 1999 with resources to create a better future.
Become color blind. We all bleed red.
  Stay safe. Stay strong.
  In solidarity,
