I feel like it definitely depends on the situation, yk?

By that I mean whether or not batsis knows about Selina being Catwoman

If she doesn't know about it, she'll definitely fangirl about it to her

Since nobody else in the manor wants to talk about it, she's your last resort

It doesn't make her uncomfortable tho, she actually finds it kinda amusing

Like

Can you imagine your boyfriends daughter fangiling about how hot, badass, cool, and iconic you are without even knowing they're fangirling over you?

She'd listen closely to every word you say, pride swelling up in her chest

On the other hand, if you already know who she is, it's gonna be a bit of a mess

You'd definitely figure it out after fangirling about her for almost 6 months

You'd feel a bit embarrassed for a second before quickly recovering and going back to normal (for the most part)

To say the least, you'd constantly try to get her number or at the very least flirt with her

You'd follow her around the halls of the manor and batcave while reading out one of the latest poems you either read or made just for her

She ends up having to stiffle a laughe whenever your reading it to her and Bruce comes in with a huge frown on his face

He'd tell you to stop only for you to continue shortly after he leaves the room

" I would rather swim in a stormy sea than sail calm waters without yo-" you were quickly interrupted when Bruce came busting through the door with a huge frown on his face

"Stop it! She's almost 20 years older than you, leave her alone"

"Oh my bad, I'll stop" you answered dryly

"Good" He said sternly before walking out the room, leaving you and Selina alone. You turned around to look at her with a cocktail smirk, "I think he's jealous I'm trying to steal his girl and it's actually working ;)"

Yea no Bruce absolutely hates it

He doesn't like the fact that her daughter is getting more attention from his gf than him😭😭

But he knows that she'd never leave him for a 13 year old girl with amazing rizz like you, right?

Every time she comes back from a mission without you, you'd ask he about it

You'll listen intently to every word she says, making tiny comments every now and then

Once you turn 18, you'd rent an apartment and let her know so she can visit whenever she wants (yea ur still obsessed with her)

One time, you ended up not going on patrol for a whole week because you were sickand she came to visit you with chicken soup in her hands

You thanked her profusely and kept on offering her some stuff like water or food but she always declined

She was your guest after all

She'd watch movies with you for a while before eventually forcing you to sleep

Then next day she'd invite you to go rob some jewelry stores with her, ivy, and harley

Speaking of ivy and harley

they absolutely adore you!!

Ivy never fails to notice how all the plants around you seem to lean into you when you walk past them

Your like a magnet and she seems to have gotten stuck onto you as well

Harley also can't help but notice the way her hyenas cuddle up to your legs whenever you come over to her apartment

She'd smile softly from the kitchen as she watched you play around with Bud and Lou

Oh and Selinas cats also like u

You're actually kinda fond of cats but you've never met any until one day when you can over to Selinas appartment

You'd only ever seen cats on TV or on the internet but never in real life

You were having fun playing around with her 10 cats until you began aggressively sneezing lmao

You ended up spread out on the floor, arms outstretched as the cats began surrounding you

You were still sneezing, just not as bad anymore

That was until one of the cats walked up to your face and began licking your face

You could feel a strong sneeze coming up but you didn't want to scare him away so you ended up having to hold your breath so you wouldnt sneeze

You held it in for such a long time that even Selina wondered how you were still alive

But you couldn't hold it in for too long so you ended up sneezing anyways lmao

jordan and declan are the best couple and if anyone tries to say they’re not u should shut up. (i love all the couples equally but i love them more).

hennessy is so fucking funny like what an icon. her hatred of pennsylvania is so special to me. i don’t even hate pennsylvania i just admire her commitment to the cause.

the juxtaposition of niall and ronan in the chapters at the barns. aghhhhhh. and the glimpses into niall’s past like…..i wouldn’t call it a redemption arc but the careful way he is humanized WITHOUT being redeemed. and seeing what ronan saw in him. but also what declan saw

DECLAN LYNCH GANGSTER ERA

on the seventh day the lynch brothers became friends again. BECAME FRIENDS AGAIN

but basically. if trc is a coming-of-age series where you see these kids delighting in and struggling with the magic on the edge of adulthood. the dreamer trilogy is like the loss of childhood innocence. cdth and mi are ROUGH at points. it’s much harsher feeling than trc, more heavy and sad and action-packed and suspenseful. and greywaren is like…the tentative peace you make at the end of the transition to adulthood. ronan’s finding his feet, seeing old friends, proposing. declan is settling down, letting go of his childhood wounds. it’s not an ending really but it’s where things start to be okay. and that’s how it feels. and that’s why (for all the plot holes and rushed pacing blah blah blah) it’s so. fucking. good.

AND CAN I JUST SAY. all the ppl who say that post-TRK pynch became “bad” and “toxic” and “isn’t as good as in trc” and “they shouldn’t be together anymore”……..i hate those ppl w my whole heart bc. i’m sorry, but if you read the scene in greywaren where their, like, celestial soul energies found each other in dreamspace and reconciled and apologized and forgave (in. disembodied dream soul form…whatever) and WERE WANTED THEY WERE WANTED THEY WERE WANTED and decided to love and help and heal one another and you STILL think that???? i just don’t know how to help you!!! sorry u can’t enjoy mature healthy relationships where people have gone through bad periods and so the relationship suffered for a while and then they recalibrated and decided to continue to grow together, but i’m built different :))

So Jang Hayoung.

To be fair, the fandom did have to deal with Jan Hayong being misgendered in a sense. I have my own thoughts about that but that's honestly a somewhat negligible point for me? Because THAT whole discourse is more kdj centred (own problems, hence the slight mark on ignore canon) but for Jang Hayoung herself??? Mildly obsessed. Wall of communication and her own character being a product of communication between author and reader. The way she embodies both miscommunication and breaking boundaries and walls with it. Her funny and hilarious crush on the Demon King of Salvation but clear disdain towards KDJ. She is neat and such a character but also such a self insert and I don't know. Like... she's a link between author and reader, she is her own person, she is waroed by the narrative, she's freer from the narrative than most. I love everything about her.

Kim Namwoon

I don't have many strong feelings about Kim Namwoon except that he deserved better but KDJ wouldn't let him deserve better because KDJ is a self-hating idiot. He is like the definition of a plot device character but if the plot was some guy's intense sense of self-hatred. He is well written in the sense that there was definitely more to the guy but that KDJ didn't let it be fully realised. But I do love their obsession with mecha. Very valid

Shin Yoosung

CHARACTER OF ALL TIME I LOVE HER I WOULD DIE FOR HER I WOULD -

Listen. Shin Yoosung is like a daughter to me, okay? Which I guess does note beat the KDJ reader self insert allegations but seriously. Her characters arcs (yes, plural on both)??? Her power? The fact that KDJ wanted to give her (and Gilyoung) the kind of childhood he couldn't ever have but that her hands were already sort of tainted with blood? Canon isn't real doesn't mean I hate what canon did to her, by the way. It's that KDJ hated what canon did to her and...changed it. Shin Yoosung is like what if you put a little girl with so much guilt and made her face the realisation of that guilt - that she IS or can be as bad as she currently fears. Also, she is so mean sometimes to Gilyoung and that is so real for her. (Kiss them is platonic, by the way)

Also. Older Shin Yoosung's aesthetic and gender. Yes.

Kujo Tenn

Insane, self-sacrificial, selfish, and Profession. As the Discord group put it: ableist icon, too. Tenn is like what if you mixed the yandere trope with the stoic soldier trope or something (don't listen to that I am literally just spitting nonsense here.) But for real....he's SUCH a well-written character that that itself drives me BONKERS. He's got such Eldest Child energy BUT - BUT THIS IS IMPORTANT - there is a youngest child inside him screaming for attention too!! (Which I think TRIGGER gave). You never can completely hate him even if you do think he should be slapped. As a treat. The writers just went OFF on his character and I could think about it all day and one day will try to articulate it all. He's just......neat

Kujo Takamasa

In my defense of the design thing....he really gives off SUCH Phantom of the Opera vibes, it's SO funny to me. I say beast unleashed when he's just a poor meow meow who should have used his money for therapy rather than the stuff he pulled in canon. Is he for me? Nah, not really. But do I find him hilarious from an observer's point of view? Absolutely

Natsume Minami

Minami and Sogo both made me realize I might have a vibe with characters who look frail and have white hair but are deeply unwell inside and express that through toxic violence of some sort. To be honest, my favourite thing about Mina is that he might be a subversion of the composer trope? Like a foil to Sogo. Usually, I think composers are written as tortured souls who want to express a deep but beautiful feeling in music. Mina is a tortured soul but his feelings are raw and ugly and frankly terrifying and he was encouraged to express those through art. Which is honestly great and makes me want to bite his character arc like a watermelon. Also, at this point, he's probably the only one holding ZOOL's bad boy image together because the others can act it out well enough but they're all so pathetic and sweethearts at heart (took some time getting there for Torao, though.) Minami is not a sweetheart in any sense or form, even if he is pathetic, and that's very cool of him

So I got asked by @fangomango what some of my favorite end credits scenes are (it was on my main Shadowbanned blog, though, so Tumblr is rude and won't let me answer it there ;-;) but yes, I am so excited to answer this question, because I've wanted to make a full post on my favorite end credits scenes ever since I asked @drawthethingdoppelganger about her favorite end credits scenes:

--One of my all-time favorites is Candy Cane Moose because it's so flipping catchy somehow despite only consisting of a few lyrics that are repeated over and over. Also, seeing the Belcher kids are lil' babies makes me 🥺 I actually screamed when I saw this one for the first time because I was not prepared for the cuteness:

Okay, as you know, I can’t ever answer anything succinctly. I am going to take this opportunity to plug this nonfiction book I’m listening to on audio, titled “From Hollywood with Love: The Rise and Fall (and Rise Again) of the Romantic Comedy.” –highly recommend it to anyone who is a rom-com nerd like me.

The book asks the following question to determine what can be considered a romantic comedy:

“If you removed the love story from this movie, would you still have a movie? If the answer is no, it’s a romantic comedy.”

With this question in mind, here is my list (not in ranking order, I’m just listing them as they come to me.) Also, yes, this means I can’t list the 2000 gem that was Miss Congeniality. That is my #1 favorite Sandy movie. Not to worry, though, Sandy B. still makes the list.

Here we go:

Serendipity: The trope. NYC as a character. The cast—John Cusack, Kate Beckinsale, John Corbett, Molly Shannon, and the illustrious Eugene Levy who stole all of his scenes as the Bloomingdale’s employee making John Cusack’s life miserable lol. It’s just so good. It’s peak rom-com in the early 2000s. Those of you old enough to appreciate that era of rom-coms will know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s one of my all-time favs. 👏🏽

Two Weeks Notice: Sandy B. Listen, I had to work hard not to make every movie on this list a Sandra Bullock-starring film. I feel like choosing your favorite rom-com actress from the 90s/2000s is a little like choosing your boyband team from that same era. I am Team Sandy B. all the way. (No disrespect to Julia and Meg, and so many others who also made movies I loved.) I love Sandra in this movie opposite Hugh Grant, she’s so smart and so funny. The premise of this movie is actually one I still hold out hope for seeing written as firstprince fanfic someday. Sandra is an environmental lawyer who goes to work for a billionaire’s company in order to save a community center that is very dear to her. There are aspects of that plot that I think Alex and Henry would fit into, and aspects to tweak because I don't think Henry would be quite as arrogant or bumbling as Hugh's character. I could talk about this at length lol.

Definitely, Maybe: Again – the cast. Ryan Reynolds. Isla Fisher. Rachel Weisz. Abigail Breslin. The trope/premise?? So good. I love how it jumps through time and shows us how second chances present themselves in our lives. It’s just a really lovely film and probably my favorite Ryan as a rom-com leading man, though The Proposal is a close second.

Hitch: This movie had me in tears, both from laughter and emotions. Also, the scene where Will Smith is teaching Kevin James’ character how to dance. Iconic. "I'm making the pizza!" “Don’t need no pizza, they got food there!” 😂

My Big Fat Greek Wedding: Windex. Nia Vardalos and John Corbett, watching their characters meet and fall in love. Just so damn dreamy. 😍 I also really love how this movie portrays that when you choose a partner, you’re also choosing their family. 💖

Set It Up: I know this is six lol. But I had to add in a movie post-2010. I love this one so much. I know a movie has become part of my personality when I start adopting the dialogue into my everyday vernacular lol. “I overdicked” is said A LOT. 😂 Also GLEN POWELL. 😏

the shinene goodbye in second manga route. like i do dislike this route but BWAHHH BWAHHHHH BWAHHHH THIS SHIT GETS ME SO BAD MAN SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF like iam pretty pissed THIS route where ene didnt Really know shintaro pre ene like in the main route like that so important to what makes their dynamic so insane yknow what i mean ugh *kicks second manga route* but whatever that scene is 10/10 and in my sick twisted mind this 10000% happens post str too. minus saying goodbye and takane dying yknow. i want these bitches to break down to each other bc they were the only thing they had for over a year and for shintaro to tell takane thank you for being by my side and all that shit and they sob together for an hour and how awkward the aftermath would be

ERM. another shintaro and takane moment but more a takane one. seventh novel confrontation. that whole chapter has my heart but specifically when takane gets teary eyed over kenjirou being clearing and having killed her and haruka. and kano reassuring her it is safe to love the person he was at home and at school and takane cheering up and going yeah he's still a really good guy (goes crazy) and i love that shintaro inner comment is being relieved when she cheers up and if he could help it he'd like to avoid seeing her sad again LOL (the whole chapter he's like SHE'S THE DEVIL SHE IS A DEMON SHE NEEDS TO SINK BACK TO HELL WHERE SHE CAME FROM then she tears up for 30 seconds and he's like WHAT THE FUCK MAKE IT STOP) they are bestfriends ur honor

sixth novel when haruka admits to having feelings for takane. this one is DEFINITELY underrated like i BARELY ever see ppl talk abt it like GIRL ITS RIGHT THERE WHAT IS WRONG WITH U. its generally very cute not only cuz of harutaka but because of shintaro and haruka being bestfriends because haruka realises thru yeah shintaro is my friend!!! but then goes into how calling takane a friend doesn't feel entirely right and "gives him a bad aftertaste in his throat... oh, so it's that kind of thing" i love that both haruka and takane have the "i wonder why" line when it comes to being unable to identify why is it that they feel so inclined to each other. it is so special to me too that haruka identifies his feelings by himself and the only reason he keeps them at bay is his health the fact he will die so what even is the point in indulging in his feelings for her. AUGH. i wanna die. i need ppl to talk abt this bit more. especially since i consider the harutaka bit in the lost day hour comic a callback since haruka wasnt gonna include takane in his interviews. like (tears hair off) WHY DIDNT HE WANT TO. he was all like "uhh yeah i got 1 more person to ask but...." and then takane's the one to be like i still havent given u my answer "oh yeah i was thinking of asking you but..." But what you fucking loser. why do you keep saying but. sorry im so normal abt the harutaka in lost day hour

another one i like is novel 6 when kenjirou calls haruka on the phone (goes crazy) their bond drives me so crazy kenjirou is just collecting kids he is such a good dad i was going crazy over this last night like im so sad he's dead in str like my man you have 4 kids STAY ALIVEEEE GET OUT OF THEREEEEEE *ugly crying*um. yeah. novel 6 revealing the iconic yuukei yesterday bit where kenjirou forces haruka and takane to organize a booth in 1 weeks time wasnt really bc of the principal/administrator/whatever but bc he knew haruka wanted it and needed an excuse to get takane moving therefore get haruka moving. if he only told haruka, haruka would laugh it off and be like noooo but if he Forces takane then she will beat sense into haruka for him. it just says so much abt kenjirous character to me. he is extremely caring but sort of hands off in a way, but when he needs to. he knows how haruka is that's why he used that approach. IT MAKES ME CRAZY adoptive dad for real. also remember how haruka wakes up in the daze already seeing through konohas eyes and sees his dear teacher all sneering being like MAN WHAT A PAIN THESE 2 WERE TO KILLLLL omg konoha ur awake lol look!!! and shows him takanes dead body. GIRL. CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT HARUKA WAS FEELING AT THAT MOMENT. the only adult he ever trusted and could confide in + his last thoughts before dying (aside from being like I DONT WANNA FUCKING DIEEEE) is a goodbye to takane and how she has to be happy and live a long life with all the people she will meet even if without him. and then he sees she is dead killed by this man he trusted so much. girl. *succumbs into despair*

UMMMM yeah those are a few of my favorites. i got a ton more tho. every haruka and takane moment is a favorite too.

Dance Gavin Dance - Evaporate imagine youre me. imagine you went to reddit and someone told you to listen to their old songs first before enjoying Evaporate. imagine having your mouth gape wide open as the references from older work starts weaving through the music. Even if you dont know the references, even if youre not part of the fandom, Evaporate is still a very good song. It was so good some people was concerned if this is going to be their last long.

5. Noah - Bintang di Surga this is actually a remastered version of an old song the band did when they're still under the Peterpan name. Both versions are just as good but im posting this instead for recency's sake. Look, this song is just sooo fucking good. Especially in lyrics, like there's people who went through their highschool indo lit class arguing about this song's meaning with their teacher. There are conspiracy videos saying the song is meant to be demonic thats why the lyrics are so subtle and filled with symbolism. the song is just THAT iconic. I will not fucking shut up about this. My personal interpretation of the song is about someone who have gained all the power and all the riches in the world but still felt empty, as if shied away from god's light. The constant use of light and flight related words coupled with grand exaggerations like trusting the sky will catch them if they fail or believing everything is created by God for them only makes the confession that their life felt empty and there is no love left for them hits harder. I should really start translating this song's lyrics so other ppl would get it. Every time I daydream about Vriska, I use this song as her background music.

i mean this is just a loaded question to ask about vriska i think every possible opinion a person could have about vriska is probably unpopular like you could just create a computer that generates new baffling vriska takes like the entire spectrum in an attempt to study and construct the entire world of vriska opinionology but it would not get at the full breadth of vriska opinions created by humans on our little internet and also everything it would spit out would be unpopular

but heres my take you really have to thread the needle with like levels of patheticness and like terribleness i think people either assume shes extremely evil the worst ever or like oh shes my pathetic little self insert character because ur also an insane lesbian or something and i dont think anyone understands her essence or the correct level of modulation on their vriska takes in the vriska discourse but also again this is both a universal vriska opinion and also one that everyone in the world hates so you know

Oooo 👀 there are pairings I don’t like but I don’t wish that I liked them? I suppose I wish I understood the hype behind Jeankasa. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate it at all, but seeing as Mikasa never saw Jean in that light and Jean’s feelings for Mikasa seems to be more infatuation than anything else, I don’t quite see why it’s a popular ship. This is not to say I hate the ship tho, nor do I hate its fanbase!

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

Oh wow I think… 4 years ish? For fandoms like PJO, everything to do w/ Shadowhunters, Supergirl… so like a lot of my time in my old fandoms lasted roughly around that length, give or take a year.

Levi Ackerman (AOT): no explanation needed at this point 😂😂 BUT for the sake of the question I will give u a short one :) Levi’s one of my forever favs because he remains the most compassionate and selfless character despite his entire life being rooted in violence and severe losses. He has every reason to hate the world and condemn it for what he’s been through but he doesn’t, and continues to protect humanity however he can.

Wei Yingluo (Story of Yanxi Palace): the main character in a Chinese period drama that details the life of a girl whose sister was SA’d and killed whilst working as a palace maid in the Forbidden City, but nobody cares about the truth behind it. Yingluo joins the embroidery maid workforce and schemes to investigate her sister’s death and get revenge - she invented gaslight gatekeep girlboss 😌😌 an icon.

Kugisaki Nobara (Jujutsu Kaisen): She’s absolutely unhinged. And I love it!! I love how she’s so brazen, so confident. She’s a female character done right by the author and the story (at least from what I’ve seen in the anime, I haven’t read ahead in the manga yet, hoping she doesn’t get the sidelined treatment à la historia, for example). like literally, do I want Nobara or want to be Nobara, I don’t know. Also her cursed technique is dope asf and her fight scenes are 🤌🏼🤌🏼 esp in the S1 finale, girlie did NOT give a shit anymore and stuck three nails through her arm like it was NOTHING. She has more than a few screws loose. And I love her.

“Dude, she’s, like, totally your soulmate.”

Peter scoffs, trying not to let the words obviously shake him. Ned has been wheedling Peter for what must be half an hour, trying to convince him to just ask out Y/N L/N, already. No matter how many times Peter says that it’s not going to work, that Y/N may be his absolute dream girl but that doesn’t mean she likes him even half as strongly as he likes her, Ned refuses to abandon the cause.

Peter still can’t stop himself from inserting at least an ounce of realism into the conversation. “She’s not my soulmate, Ned. Soulmates aren’t real.”

Ned snorts. “Yeah, that’s what I thought until I met the two of you. You guys are practically the same person. She likes Star Wars, you like Star Wars. You’ve watched Lord of the Rings about a hundred times with me, I heard her weighing the benefits of Narsil or Sting in a battle just last week. Admit it, Peter, the two of you are just meant to be.”

Peter sighs. “I wish it could be, but you’re missing one massive point. She doesn’t like me, Ned, and no amount of shared interests are going to fix that.”

Ned groans, but before the other boy can try and persuade Peter that this isn’t a problem, he’s cut off by a new voice. This one comes from somebody standing just behind them, somebody who’s been listening into their conversation.

“Who said I didn’t like you?”

Peter’s eyes widen at the same time as Ned’s, and he turns around slowly to see none other than Y/N L/N grinning at him. There’s no way this could ever be happening, but as Peter stands there and gapes at her, Y/N’s smile just broadens.

“Well?” she asks, “Don’t you have something to ask me?”

Peter nods hurriedly before he can convince himself that he’s dreaming. “Yeah, absolutely. Would you, uh, like to go out with me?”

No question in the history of the universe has ever been wrought with so much peril. At the same time, though, Peter thinks he’s got a pretty good chance of getting the answer he wants. The delighted look on Y/N’s face tells him that much.
