I did say that I would play hived swap act 2 only if act 3 came out ...so maybe I will

#if i can justify spending money on it #i dont know that ill like it as much as act 1. my expectations are really low but i cant judge until i experience it one way or another #ive been back on a hs kick recently.... it was fun.... trollsona redesign 500 maybe #hiveswap is the only post hs (as in act 7) media i care about. im not too pleased with what ive heard but i think i could still enjoy it #even if its not exactly what i wanted it to be #still upset about what ive heard about a certain characters whole thing... and certain connections back 2 homestuck #however. genuinely kind of hilarious that i got covid like. as the game was announced LMAO #(but one thing i am excited about for act three is FINALLY violetbloods maybe this one wont be a bad person (doubt))#(i was a fan of eri back in the day but. i now acknowledge that he was like. terrible! like literally wanted to do a genocide #i literally just saw violet and the ocean and was like 'hmm i will not think critically about this guy'#did not help that i heard a lot about the trolls b4 reading so i had fanon characterizations in mind.#anyways #when i recover. be prepared. im going to post hs art in 2022. or later even. who knows. but it will happen.#hmm these tags look long. if u actually r reading this sorry #to be deleted maybe....

I'm debating starting a youtube. One of the things I love about learning how to do stuff is sharing the process and skills involved with people and that seems to be the preferred platform for that kind of thing; I find that with a lot of what I'm making it's so niche or weird that there's not easily findable tutorials on how to do what I want to do, so maybe it would help if I made them? Tiktok is okay as a quick and easy way to slap process videos together but I kind of hate it and I also don't like how unsearchable and short-lived content is there.

Youtube would be a lot of work, and I'm not convinced it would be worth the effort, but on the other hand, if I could get some traction there, it would be nice to have passive ad revenue to offset project costs without having to directly sell the random crap I'm making.

I dunno, guys. This site has been home for my art for a long time, and I don't see that changing, but it would be nice to have resources to put into some of the larger projects that aren't directly sellable.

#there is so much I wish i could do if i could justify the cost of the projects #and i can already do a lot! I'm not complaining #but ugh #marketing art. not the most fun.#and to do it properly i would need to spend some decent money on camera gear #because my phone would not cut it #still not putting my fucking face on the internet though

Au idea: Little Naruto raised by a shulk, Kurama made contact very early and kept the boy company and eventually Naruto disappeared into the forest to live with fox summons. He only ever really showed up to steal or pull pranks but he disappeared right into the summons realm before anyone could catch him.

When the Genin are ready to graduate Naruto is just there, with his wild hair and fox aunt.

Iruka doesn’t know how to respond to this, he’s blue screened.

#u would have to have him vanish maybe within a year of thr Uchiha massicure #say he was in danger. the seal gets messed up so his 9 tails chakra goes all weird andand idk kurama calls in a bunch of foxes to get him #outta there. and bc im an iruka simp we can say iruka was on his way to help but wasnt fast enough. but they still have the existing #relationship bc Iruka's been his teacher for like almost 2 years and has treated him like a human #then he spends like 3yrs? with the foxes. learning from stollen scrolls. and shows up for the genin exam #and they say he can take the exam if he spends a few days in class with the other kids and iruka deems him eligible #then he passes so u dont get the big mizuki scene bit iruka keeps hanging around bc he felt so horrible abt naruto disappearing #so naruto is more competent earlier bc kurama is working with him. but is more influenced by the 9tails anger and has to be drawn away #from thst by iruka and team 7. lol there. thats how i would justify this #naruto #uzumaki naruto #umino iruka #also i just like the idea of foxes buying ramen with money and teuchi just being like. sure. ok. i guess i serve carry out to foxes now #also i feel like fox summons just like normal foxes and only communicate in the heads of those they wanna talk to #sneaky telepaths

seriously considering buying a cheap second hand laptop for trying out new distros and otherwise fucking around with linux so i dont have to mess with my actual main setup

#i could also buy a pi but then I'd be restricted to distros that support arm #and also I'd still need to get a monitor and keyboard (and a mouse ig depending on what I'm trying out) but im sure i can find some #where can i find the cheapest crappiest bricked laptops that are not hard to repair #im sure a lot of them could be 'repaired' by just installing linux on them in the first place lol #I took a quick look on ebay and found a listing for £50 with lowkey better specs than my actual laptop...#but £50 is still a lot of money to be spending on a whim I'd need to justify it :/

I had a fun day today!!! Going to a con with my sister is always a good laugh and glad to have managed to get some decent things!!! Has definitely made me super tired tho!

Preordered the revised ABM ebook AND the physical copy so I can actually read the ebook and but also display the physical book on my shelf to prove that I read a real book lol

#I love owning physical copies of books I read as ebooks #I know effectively buying a book two different times is kinda wasteful but like #if I just read the ebook and don’t have a physical #I feel like I just read a nonexistent online thing #the physical copies make it feel more real lol AND it’s cool to see how big the physical book is and be like #heck yeah!
