After 2x12, and as a “car nerd” I want to know the important question nobody is asking.... did Carlos’s Camaro survive the fire?

Obviously I’m glad Carlos and TK are ok as the MOST important thing, but still I need to know about the car!

Brisbane in lockdown from last night until Monday 6pm. I've never seen Brisbane like this. Good to see we're all doing the right thing. One case of the mutant strain comes in and the whole state locks down and contact tracing begins. Fan..bloody..tastic 👍👍😷

Yep, this says it all!

Its such a coincidence that there’s been all this “interest” in writing articles all of a sudden about a careerless non-celebrity at a time when everyone is stuck inside and can’t go anywhere.  Its almost like they’re trying to compensate for something, but I just can’t put my finger on it.  Also so ironic that they try to paint her as some sort of independent workaholic force of nature in the body of the article but always have to make sure the headline includes “DC’s wife” because no one would know who she is by name alone.  Kind of defeats the whole lie you’re selling if you have to clarify who she is and that we should care about her because of who she’s married to.  That’s not quite standing on your own two feet.  I have yet to see an article with the title of “who is Swiller’s husband?” as if she’s someone to notice and he’s just the lucky schlub who gets to tag along.

Comparing her career (term used loosely) to his is so incredibly insulting. They are in no way, shape, or form anywhere close to equals.  He writes his own music, plays a thousand instruments, composed and scored multiple musicals as a college student, acted, sang, and danced on a major tv show for 5 seasons, headlined 2 Broadway musicals, acted in 2 movies, won 4 major awards and endless accolades for his performance in ACS, headlined a concert tour with LM, acted in and executive produced another show, and would be back on Broadway right now with an Oscar and Tony award winner if not for this pandemic.  She did some bts stuff for Fox like 7 years ago, plays with a shitty cover band that does one show a year and thinks vomiting on stage is the height of cool, and came up with the name for her strip bar.  Wow.  My mistake.  Laying it all out like that, they really do have similar resumes.  How the author wrote any of that with a straight face is beyond me.  I think the only 2 proper reactions are a combination of below:

I noticed the champagne/wine glasses... hers is much skinnier (yes they could be different types of glasses - but not likely given the supposed ‘setting’ of this photo)- and the base of her glass is at an angle to the stem and flute (like it has been distorted by a manipulation of the photo).  His glass distorted the opposite way to hers - again the base is on an angle from the stem.

”Maybe” it is just bad photography... but with the addition of other flaws in this photo - one does wonder....

So I was checking out the sock account to see what BS has been posted in relation to another post when I came across the infamous bali trip and that horrid “couple” pic. Then I took a closer look just to examine it a bit and remembered someone saying the pic looks photo shopped because her forearm looks a hell of a lot skinnier. Then I noticed her left foot and from my experience…you don’t usually wear sandals with one or two toes on the outside of the strap. And from all those years of getting yourself dressed, you’d think you’d be able to put on a pair of shoes correctly, also D’s feet look abnormally huge, especially the right one. Correct me of I’m wrong and I’m sorry if I am mistaken as I don’t usually put these sort of posts up but this but I just couldn’t ignore this one. Thoughts people.

ajw720 - I think many of us are having the same feelings - I just posted my own rant about WHO I am a fan of (D, of course) and who I am NOT a fan of (Beardy McBeard).

Perhaps (eventually) one of the ‘team’ will have a long overdue epiphany and see that the beard is DETRIMENTAL to Darren and will allow him to shine - ON HIS OWN MERITS

even if darren actually enjoyed the bar, i still dont want him talking about it on live tv,let alone during important interviews during emmy nom time where he should be discussing his hard work(he’s just ‘the piano man’ after all)&the bar has been a reoccurring topic in what it seems like every interview he’s had in the past couple months.i dont even mind the raunchiness of the bar,ya know ‘you do you’ but darren shouldnt be associated with it rn,it isnt appropriate or beneficial for his career.

Anon, I am so frustrated, I honestly do not even know what to say.  I cannot even believe what I have watched unfold over the past six months.  

I AM A FAN OF D/ARREN C/RISS. I AM NOT A FAN OF M/IA REGARDLESS OF WHO SHE IS IN HIS LIFE AND I AM TIRED OF THE ATTENTION BEING PLACED ON HER CONSTANTLY. AND I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS AND IT IS NOT JUST THE CC COMMUNITY. BEYOND HER STANS, MOST DO NOT LIKE HER AND DO NOT CARE TO HEAR ABOUT HER.

January came and I was so hopeful this was a year of change.  More, I genuinely believe D felt this was his year, he was about to be seen in a career changing role, he knew awards were a real possibility, and I firmly believe at a minimum, he thought she would be expelled from his life.

And what has happened?  On the day ACS premiered, he was forced to mention her in 3 out of 4 interviews.  2 days later there was an engage announcement and suddenly, M promo and talk of an encage started completely overshadowing his career and ACS.

Add, 90% of the print articles emphasized how he was a cis, white, straight dude.  90% blatantly lied while he promoted a show that has themes of homophobia and closeting.

D started rapidly losing weight, that cannot be dismissed or overlooked.  This is fact and is evident more and more each day.  And he looks exhausted constantly.

There is a screening of the final ACS, and suddenly the author of the book is talking about TSG.

2 days later they announce it will open.  And since then it has been relentless, non-stop promo. To the point that he went on a talk show the day his tour was announcement and the TOUR WAS NOT MENTIONED.

He did an interview with the Hollywood Foreign Press that spent at least 5 minutes talking about the bar.  Yesterday’s interview should have focused on ACS and the tour.  IF, IF the bar had to be mentioned, in passing, 30 seconds, it is all it should warrant.  

Team Shit has managed to pull focus from everything he has accomplished this year and placed it firmly on her and the bar.  Clearly a goal is to take everythng he has earned from him and tarnish it and they are doing a stand up job.  and it appears this includes trying to damage his chances at the emmy.  Luckily, d is wildly popular and i am confident he will be nominated regardless because of the incredibly hard work he put into playing Andrew is such an incredible manner.

Again, i want to know, I need to know, how is this allowed to happen?  I do not understand how they vile people are able to sabotage his career.  If he has to be straight, fine (not really), sell it but you can do that without pulling focus and throwing it to nonsensical things while it should be firmly placed on the single most important thing to happen in his career this far is getting nominated for this emmy.   Again, how is his team allowed to do things that are so blatantly damaging and contradictory to what should be happening in this moment?  I have never seen anything like this.

I am NOT a fan of Mia “Look at me!” Swier

I DO want to hear about what DARREN is good at (His music, His acting, His ability to make people smile - fans and celebrity alike) 

I DO want to see Darren in interviews talking about those things

I DO NOT want to hear about his Beard Mia Swier - I am not her fan - she has done nothing to gain or deserve praise or a fan following.  I may as well idolise my next-door neighbour’s one-night stand - they have both done the same amount of ‘work’ to make me a fan (that is, nothing, for those playing at home)

I will concentrate on DARREN - he is worthy of my attention in my opinion (and my opinion is what is important on MY blog)

I will not come to YOUR blog to rubbish YOUR opinion - I respect your right to have it - even if I don’t agree with it. Please do me the same favour.
