hiii asking in the most polite, non demanding way ever, WHERE IS SINS OF OUR FATHERS?!!! i’m due for a reread and has a mild panic attack when i saw it wasn’t on your page anymore 😭

AAAHHHHH omg okay i was going to write an official update about it as a standalone tumblr post, but i suppose answering this ask will suffice 😭

so i’ve removed “sins of our fathers” from my ao3 bc i’ve officially made the bittersweet decision to abandon the story as a fanfic. 💔

it was not a decision i made lightly!!! it was actually something that i’ve been sitting with for a while bc, even though the story has been fully outlined for a WHILE, i felt stuck and could not for the life of me figure out why i could not get over whatever was blocking me and just write the damn thing.

then i realized that, as much as i love the idea and love writing this rival gang au for eremika, i realized that limiting the story within the confines of a modern eremika au was hurting the story i ultimately wanted to tell. so i made the scary but necessary decision to convert this to an original novel!

the exciting thing is that the bones of the story will remain the same: the enemies to lovers, the forbidden love, the sociopolitical battle for the “integrity of the town.” but the transition to an original novel will allow me to really dive into the themes that (candidly) i couldn’t explore within a fanfic—namely, the racial and capitalistic realities at play within this fictional town.

so with all this being said: this was a really hard decision for me to make bc i know that there were a lot of people who were following the story! and i have really been enjoying writing this story for the fandom!!! honestly, it has been my favorite one that i’ve been writing so far. i think it is the type of story i want to tell.

but ultimately, i just felt like something kept tugging at me to approach this story differently in order to do it justice. and expanding the universe and making it something entirely my own felt like the right approach.

i know this isn’t an ideal update 💔💔 and i’m really sorry for disappointing any readers! especially since i know i’ve been hyping up this story for so long and had every intention to finish the fic by the end of the year. i guess what i’m trying to say is: the story will be done by the end of the year (i’m working with some developmental editor friends to work on the outline), but just in a different form than originally intended.

i’ll close this out by giving you, anon, and everyone else who has been so supportive all my love and gratitude. (and don’t worry: even if this particular eremika chapter is closed, i’m not going anywhere; i still have other eremika things to share 💕)

I hardly ever do headcanons but if the time calls for it or if I’m doing requests and someone asks for that specifically then I will of course do what is asked :>

I do have a habit of making oneshots into ongoing stories but I do intend in simply making oneshots or two parts more often rather than series.

For the last like four days I’ve been flip flopping between two fics that are so completely wildly different in subject matter!! To the point that everytime I’m filling out my little writing tracker spreadsheet I have to giggle when I see them side by side😭 I have the range I guess!!!!

Fic 1 doesn’t have an official title yet but it’s saved as “romanticism of wallet photos.” It spawned from me thinking about people printing out wallet sized photos and keeping them in their wallet or purses. And I don’t think people really do it that often anymore ?? but they Should because I think it’s so lovely!!!! Anyway the premise is at the beginning of s3 Ted prints out a picture from the summer of Henry and Rebecca and then spends the entire season very emotional about the whole thing!! And doing nothing about it!! It’s gotten way more sad than I originally intended it to be, but it will have a happy ending rest assured🫡 it’s also so so SO CLOSE to being done!! I would’ve finished it this weekend but alas, work😔

Fic 2 is my beloved threesome fic!! My Roy/Keeley/Rebecca fic that started out as just “Rebecca can’t stop fantasizing about watching two of her best friends fuck.” And it’s now evolved into something with so much Pining and Yearning. Very much becoming a friends with benefits to lovers type thing and I am so excited about it. If only Rebecca could get her head out of her ass and ask to watch them fuck so the plot could move the fuck forward!! It’ll probably be a while before I finish this one up and I will need Copious Eyes On It before I post because it is simply so unlike anything I’ve ever written. But still I am Excited about it!!

this isn’t annoying at all! I think about them often and think about finishing the secret baby daddy or wartime canon fic sometimes but I don’t have a specific timeline or expectations of myself so I can’t say for sure? modao fandom was kinda horrible to me so I’ve had to talk to my therapist about it bcbdjfjdsfrh and while I feel better than I did a year ago the racism of fandom was happening alongside really bad racism irl while I was in my masters program and then completely isolated during covid so even tho wx themselves aren’t tainted for me, the surrounding experience is bad muscle memory. but yeah I feel a little better about it every day and last year typing this message would’ve sent me into panic while I only have to take a few deep breaths so I really hope that I can revisit them in the future. It helped seeing that wx dropped a lot in ao3 ranking this year believe it or not 😭 but lwj and wwx and mxtx(not autocorrect changing that to Marx ok tea) live in my heart and I hope we can meet again :)

Yes I do know about it, I remember that you made a post about you getting yun jin which I also got her on January I think?? when it’s me wanted to get someone else lol (wanted to get alhaitham since I want a strong character and I think he’s strong) but she rlly isn’t this bad when I try her out and I use her for the shield but now I’m with xiangling along with Barbara. They’re the replacement of Lisa and amber while I’m still with Lumine and kaeya

Kaeya may be my second main but I don’t see him this way I just enjoy playing him and I also think he’s easy to play (since playing amber and Lisa is hard for me)

For five star ? I don’t know how to answer that since I don’t know if you meant the character or something else but I’ll just say that I was saving primogem for scaramouche, hoping to get him since on December I try to get but I got faruzan instead which I course hate it 😫 one it’s because I don’t care about her and second because I don’t like playing character with bow unless if it’s necessary then I’ll do it but I’m with amber so I don’t want other character with bow

Yun jin is actually a good character especially if you have a character who need speed bonus such as Ayato she is very good as a support (not playing her currently but i intend to build her)

So you’re saving for scaramouche ? He is a good character apparently he’ll have a rerun on 3.8 so it’s close ! Keep going haha

Bow character are very useful so I suggest you to at least have one to play for domain / exploration you might need one but I get it I used to don’t like them too and now I have a couple of them lol

AAAAA OMG I REMEMBER LITERALLY FALLING IN L O V E WITH SYDM LIKE A YEAR AGO OR SMTH WHEN I FIRST FOUND IT, I had been growing less interested in Enhypen at the time so that was the first Enhypen SMAU I read, and even though Jake wasn't my bias the plot was just SO fun to me as someone who used to love Evwr After High as a kid I remember reading literally all released chapters at the time in one sitting omg, I've been checking up on it every now and then just to see if you'd ever planned on continuing it (not that I would have faulted you for moving on! I get having a life outside of Tumblr and losing inspiration for writing or even just losing inspiration for a certain series since I've done that myself) but I just saw that you've posted new chapters and I'm so so excited to read them! Sorry I feel like this was a lot of rambling for no reason lol but I judt wanna let you know know smau is amazing and I'm so excited to see how it ends aaaa thank you for writing it :D

When it reached 9pm, you must’ve lost your head as you moved your candles from the bathroom into your bedroom because once you’re comfy sitting on your bed, the amount of shit you start posting hits a new peak.

Your stupid fucking electric corkscrew decided to die on you so live tweeted out Ran out of batteries 😭😭😭 which you don’t realise is a bad idea after 15 minutes of silence. But that's for you to embarrassingly realise in a few hours.

Obviously loving the way you’re feeling tonight, you end up taking a picture you initially intended to send to George. But sharing is caring so you decide to post it on twitter too.

It’s of yourself holding your wine glass against your thigh and your dress is riding up a little meaning that the lace covered slit that goes up your thigh makes you feel sexy. One that makes you smile a little is, An embarrassing story about one of the monkeys please and thank you xoxox. Of course, you do them dirty and you give them one.

21:52 - On the AM tour, Matt being the gentleman he is paid for all our food one night we went out and as he was paying two condoms fell out of his wallet. Needless to say breana was so embarrassed he did not need them that night x

How many works do you have on AO3?

I have just added my 9th work with Home.

What’s your total AO3 word count?

111,366 words...WOW! I’ve never actually looked at that stat before.

How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?

Okay, okay...in total (counting unpublished works as well)...25. BUT, but, my only published fandom works were for Mario (I was a kid and liked the Daisy/Luigi ship), Naruto, Hetalia, Sherlock, and now the Hobbit.

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I try to! I want readers to feel like they can interact with me so I try to respond to everyone of them, but sometimes I get busy with things and then it’s been two weeks and I get shy. 😅

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

With? As in already written?? I would have to say Home at that point. Not true angst, but bittersweet. Out of fics I had planned to write, if I ever wrote One Last Adventure, that would definitely be the angstiest ending I will ever write.

I’m a happy ending writer.

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Never actually written what I would perceive as a crossover. I mean I have a “Frodo in The Hobbit” type of story, but that still seems like the same universe to me. Way back in my Naruto days I had planned to write a crossover with Naruto and Soul Eater, but never happened.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Nope! And if I ever do, probably just gonna delete it.

Do you write smut?

I haven’t yet, but I’m totally ready to start experimenting with it! I have some prompts for if I reach 99 Followers with intended smut warnings, and I plan to write it into Ambassador to Madness.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don’t think so!! At least, no one has ever told me if I have.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

My sister and I tried doing this a couple of times for fun. It was good writing practice for us, but we never considered posting.

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Come on. I feel like at this point it’s totally and completely obvious. 😏 😏

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

😬 I feel so called out. Honestly, right now...Just to See You Happy is completely off the stovetop. I just don’t have the right motivation for it right now, but I don’t think this means I will “NEVER” finish it. I may pick it up again when some of these other projects are off my plate. Just...it’s very ice cold right now.

What are your writing strengths?

I have always considered dialogue and plotting/outlining to be huge strengths of mine.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Yeah, the follow through. That. That is a weakness. 😅 Also! I get super self-conscious on the whole “show don’t tell” writer advice that I am constantly re-reading and editing my works wondering “did I give enough emotional context? too much?” 😓

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

If we consider Khuzdul another language, then I love putting it in fics! I like plots centered around it, I like just the endearments and curses finding their way in fics, I like the dwarves talking over Bilbo’s head with it. YES! ALWAYS MORE!

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

This is so hard!! 😭 Okay, if I’m basing this only off works that have been completed... I think Outside My Window is my favorite. It was my first Bagginshield and very self-indulgent for a lot of different reasons.

However, based on what I have planned and partially written...I think Once Upon a Dream could surpass it as my favorite.
