idk i’ve never got the interpretation that steve is deeply emotionally repressed bc to me he’s not? he’s bold and brave and takes opportunities to say how he feels even if they’re not ideal (starcourt bathroom/the rv/the upside down) i think he’s more high strung and neurotic if anything though he defaults to seeming aloof and above it all

What’s your take on memes, edits and fanart about mandatory service? I don’t know if fans of other kpop groups did this when their members were enlisting but I am seeing a lot from army and idk it kind of makes me uncomfortable. Maybe it’s just how I feel personally, but in my opinion mandatory enlistment is something serious and creating fan content based on it is a bit disrespectful, especially in spaces where it can be seen by the members. And not all of the content I’ve seen has been kind or nice. I guess I am just being overly sensitive. Perhaps I am the only one bothered by this.

I've never, ever seen that with other kpop artists who enlisted. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but honestly I've never seen it. Enlistment is kind of... serious? Becoming a soldier in a country that is still at war isn't a joke. Most people don't treat it like a joke.

It strikes me as vastly immature and privileged. People in countries not touched by war (or you know, countries who only conduct war away from home... ie. US Americans...) have the privilege to think it's all boys at sleep-away camp. Here in Europe, we still remember what our grandparents fought for, and we cry for the atrocities in Ukraine that are ongoing. On Korean TV, I've seen how enlistment affects the life of men--how difficult it is but how it can create bonds that last a lifetime. I've seen this in SHINee too--the good, bad, the heartbreak.

So yeah... those edits make me uncomfortable but maybe I don't have the privilege to find it all entertaining.

ALSOALSO i have a theeeooorrryyy that wfter this next legendary (unless clotted took that spot) we will get golden cheese and then tk,, i mean, a bit under a year passed since the initial event that introduced the guild and stuff and then we got the continued event. i think then the pv kingdom update came and where are we? in the pv kingdom. so that means...when the interdimensional super mayhem gets close to one year theyll probably continue that, giving them a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to introduce tk.

i dont think clotted took the spot personally. i mean,,, we'll need a new legendary for the next arena season. usually legendaries/ancients release once the previous one's arena seasons have run out. i think we're on cacao season 2 rnn??? also as much as i love TK i really cant see her being playable or included beyond maybe a time cookie cameo. shes fine in the context of ovenbreak which is already wacky and disjointed and shit but in the kingdom context her insane amount of power and benevolence could VERY EASILY break canon completely or at minimum tear a bunch of holes into it

she's just a cool chick that takes life as it comes, doesn't hold grudges even against a mother that apparently was trying to beat the magic outta her, finds her older brother the coolest person in the world, and has autism about observing life (and death, she loves the ghosts she has a connection to) and nature and taking care of things (including taking care of her brother, which is why she's even in the dungeons; she saw her scrawny mess of a brother and decided she had to fix that).

and i think my favorite part that people don't talk about is... she would have done the same for marcille or laios if it were one of them that was eaten. you could see it in her eyes:

it's what shuro misunderstands about her. it's easy to see her feminine, cute, good girl pieces and forget the rest of her. but she loves things to an ends-of-the-earth extent; the kind of caring that makes you a little insane. and that's how I think she and laios end up on the same page with their weirdness. they have different interests, but they are the same level of committed to those interests.

it's easy to love her, because she probably loves you just as much, if not more.

qFit: Mans is built like a brick shithouse—he can totally balance Phil’s additional weight. The first attempt is a bit shaky, sure, but nowadays Phil swoops down or hops up onto Fit’s shoulder and all Fit really has to do is jut out his elbow to give his friend a little more space for his talons to work with. Bam, he’s perched. Works out about 9.9 times out of 10, though Phil delights in trying to catch him off guard.

qEtoiles: He doesn’t have Fit’s bulk on his side, so he’s not as sturdy, but he is strong. The landing is usually a little rough since Etoiles has to work a bit harder to counterbalance the additional weight, but he always finds that center of gravity in no time flat. Phil usually perches with one talon on each of Etoiles’ shoulders since he’s not as w i d e, just so Phil can have a little extra grip. At some point, Etoiles tries fighting a mob while Phil is perched on him, and that goes exactly as well as you would expect.

qForever: Honestly, with all of the hard labor Forever does for his big builds, Phil was expecting him to do better, but the first (several) attempts end up with Forever stumbling over and knocking Phil off of him from his wild arm-pinwheeling. They eventually figure out it’s more doable if Forever himself has something to lean on (a wall, a chair, the butt of his pickaxe) and Phil puts one talon evenly spaced on each shoulder. Phil learns some new swears in Portuguese in the process.

qMissa: Flattened. Full-on face in the floor, mouth full of grass, wind knocked out of his lungs at Mach 5 the first time Phil tries. Phil apologizes profusely, but Missa—once he can breathe again—just rolls over onto his back and asks Phil if they can give it another try. It takes a long, LONG time, but they figure out that if Phil plants his talons on Missa’s shoulder pads and leans forward while Missa leans back, they have a small little window of time where they achieve balance. The best part? Phil gets a perfect view of Missa’s goofy little grin every single time.

Pro basketball player Steve seeing a video of Rockstar Eddie at a concert. A song starts and the crowd is yelling and Eddie reaches down with his free hand, grabs himself, and screams "suck my dick!"

Half the crowd yells it with him, the other half just fucking yells. Steve watches the video like seven fucking times, his cheeks getting warmer and warmer each time until he decides to do something stupid.

Rockstar Eddie scrolling mindlessly and seeing a video of himself on stage, so he clicks it only to watch himself scream "suck my dick!" Followed by a video of steve spliced after it. It's just his face, his hair is a fucking mess, his cheeks all pretty and pink and he looks fucking distraught as he says "just give me one chance. One fucking chance." And then he covers his face with his hands and snorts into them, laughing as the video cuts off.

Eddie's heart flutters as he watches it a few more times. Pretty Basketball Boy Steve fucking Harrington just posted a fucking video practically begging to suck his dick. Eddie smirks at his phone. Who is he to deny a pretty boy begging so sweetly? He goes to Steve's profile and types out a message. Dropping his phone on his stomach as he laughs.

Steve opens the message with shakey hands to see:

It takes Steve half an hour, but he send back a restaurant name and a time. His palms sweating, cheeks hot.

Eddie answers immediately with:

"Aren't you already halfway there?" Came Robin's response as he took a drink of his water, eyeing his teammate with a raised eyebrow, though it was difficult to tell with his mask in place.

"OMA?" Asked Superboy on the other side of the boy.

"Shush you." She said towards Robin before answering Superboy "Oh my Ancients, it's like OMG but like for us ghosties."

"Tt" "Oh!" Came both their responses.

"So..." began Superboy after a few minutes of silence between them as he looked at Ellie like a confused puppy "Why?"

Ellie groaned and just stayed slumped on the table as she said "Da's dumb Observants council is hosting another dumb ball to try to get him or me hitched again, and like always I'm forced to attend because I'm Da's heir. We both hate it with a passion, most are just stuck up, power hungry, social climbers trying to get into our pants for the royal titles... Espcially if they become our Forevermores."

"Tt, why not just get rid of them? Or simply have your Father dismiss the ball." Robin said, his eye twitching in annoyance just at the thought of it. A ball sounded even more annoying than the gala parties he is made to go to.

"Sounds stressful... Also Forevermores?" Superboy asked, he was always curious of Ellie and her ghost culture but never knew what could be asked or not, he had been warned to never ask how a ghost died after all and that question is normally asked in every ghost hunter video on the internet.

"Forevermores is our term for the ONE. The one and only we will ever be with. Till our final end takes us we are always to be with them only. We are core creatures and bonding on that level is like sacred, we don't rush into bonding like that though. But everyone in the Realms hopes to be either become mine or Da's. And the ball is their best chance at meeting us on neutral grounds." Ellie explained as best as she could for Jon, it was hard trying to explain the type of level a Forevermore was "And to answer you Robin, Da can't. The Observants, despite how annoying they can get with their dumb demands, are part of the system council for the Realms, they're sadly needed to keep things in check hence their name. Da and his friends are still trying to find a loophole to get rid of them though. They were only created when they put Tyrant King to sleep and they still sadly have some backings from other powerful ghosts in the Realms, even an Ancient or two and in order to fully dismiss them we need all Ancients on board. And the ball keeps a lot of ghosts, especially the more powerful ones, errr I guess happy? Most just use it to gossip on neutral grounds, others just like to dance, network, or other junk like that. Basically, when it's not about them trying to get mine or Da's hand in ghost marriage, it's fun so Da can't dismiss it, it'll ruffle to many feathers."

"Wow..." "Tt." Were the response from her teammates.

"Yeah. Da really isn't happy because someone suggested inviting powerful people from a few Mortal Realms this time. Somehow it got approved. So... here." She said as she reached into her own chest, phasing her hand in, and pulled out two green envelopes and placed them on the table in front of them. Both boys stared in surprise to see their names written in dark purple ink and the stylized DP on it.

"CW let me invite you guys personally. Everyone else should be getting theirs in about a few minutes complete with a blaze of green fire and spooky vibes." Ellie said with a strained smile, both happy to invite them but also dreading the questions she'll no doubt have to answer once the invites were sent.

You’re actually right! One of the reasons I make Vanny’s eyes sharper is to match how Rabbit eyes are shaped, they are very diamond like, so when Vanny is more ‘angry’ she resembles the rabbits more
