After all these misleading synopsis and teasers and all I'm not surprised so many people who don't even watch the show hate Marinette. How are they supposed to love her when people who work on marketing of their own show don't care about her and make her look like a villain of every episode?

No but you are right, guys, why bother with writing personal relationships? Are friendship usefull? Bah, it can be deleted: it's not essential. Some people does not have friends. Same for familial relationship? Make every character an orphan who does not care about their parents. That's way more compeling.

I guess that generation of recognised authors were just wasting pages with their romance. But they must not know a lot about writing, I guess.

And then the rooftop confession and how goddamn beautiful it was for Kawi to just stand there and to know what was coming and to be the one to offer reassurance. Magnificent.

Tired of seeing people defend poorly-written villains who have ptsd with the argument, “But they’re a villain and they have trauma, they’re not supposed to be behaving rationally or coherently!!! They’re just lashing out because trauma/ptsd!!!”

And it’s just like my dude, as someone who has ptsd and knows many people with ptsd, how do you think trauma works? I mean, yeah, it can be irrational from the outside to the uninformed, but it’s not just... random. There’s an internal logic to it, even if it isn’t proper logic. And if someone triggers the hell out of me and I have a meltdown and am mean to them during it, I still need to apologize for being mean, because we both hurt each other. If you like the character, fine, you do you, but don’t try to excuse poor writing with ‘evil and trauma, so actually what they’re doing makes sense.’ It does not. That is not how it works.

I didn't want to admit it because I was so freaking excited for it and because I really respect Uchikoshi. But damn, NI took everything I loved about AITSF and (for lack of a better term) shat all over it.

I did not like the new somniums. I wasn't very interested in most of the new characters. I thought the plot twist was lame. They ret-conned my favorite character and basically made her backstory in the first game pointless. The list goes on. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed by a game in my life. Not even PL vs PW: AA upset me as much as AiNi did.
