Shuffled playlist tag game
Rules: you can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to. Put a playlist on shuffle, list the first 10 songs and then tag people :)
Aight, I was tagged by the lovely @crickets-lovely-place so this is for her specifically. I the playlist I chose is the one that I've spent the most time curating, it's called Rule of 3 and the concept is simple, I choose three kpop songs that are Thematic in some way (usually the title itself but it could be a specific lyric, the songs sound or smth else)
It's not the most accurate to what I listen to generally cuz there are songs on here that I don't just listen to otherwise, but again, I've spent a lot of time on this playlist of currently 164 songs.
1. El Dorado by EXO - This song is grouped with Wonderland by Ateez and Atlantis by SHINee. It's such a good song an absolute bop! 8/10
2. Good Lil Boy by Ateez - Grouped with Pretty Boys by the Pentagon Rap Unit and Big Boy by T.O.P (formerly of Big Bang). This song honestly needs to be listened by everyone, it's one of the best Ateez b-sides 9/10
3. Red Moon by KARD - Grouped with Not by the Moon by GOT7 and Luna by Oneus. Red Moon goes incredibly hard, KARD consistently goes hard and because of BM's time growing up in Brazil their songs have some great Latin influences and Red Moon is no exception 11/10
4. Spider by Hoshi (SVT) - This song actually recently lost its place in playlist, cuz it had been paired with Venom by Stray Kids and Pink Venom by Blackpink, but it's been replaced by Sweet Venom by Enhypen. I just haven't removed it yet, cuz it's so good. I'm hoping to find it a new home. Spider is so good, and his performance video is a Much Watch. Ugh he's so good! 9/10
5. Good Love by KARD - Grouped with Like by BTS and After Like by IVE. Ooooh a second KARD song, Lets go! Good Love is a really fun chill summer time vibe, again with nice Latin influences, KARD only has Like 6 minialbums, everyone should listen to their whole discography but I digress. 8/10
6. 100 by NCT 127 - Grouped with 100 by SuperM and 100 Ways by Jackson Wang. One of NCT's least stupid songs, it does start out referencing a 1000cc engine tho so it's still stupid. God I love NCT. 100 is a pretty good gateway song to NCT tho. 7/10
7. DDU-DU DDU-DU by Black Pink - Grouped with God's Menu by Stray Kids and Doom Du Doom by P1Harmony. No intro needed, everyone knows DDU-DU DDU-DU it's an instant classic, a true banger YG give BP more comebacks 10/10
8. CALL by Stray Kids - Grouped with Don't Call Me by SHINee and Call Me by BTOB. This song is so lovely, Stray Kids are so good! They DO NOT MISS. A chill lovely vibe. My heart yearns 9/10
9. Doorbell Ringing by xikers - Paired with Thats a No No by Itzy, I need a third "Dont kill my vibe" song still 😫. MY BOYS! Xikers is just over a year old at time of post, and i love them! They are gonna be at the top of the industry for 5th gen. As of their third mini-album this is a top 5 xikers song! It's legit so good! It does not kill the vibe, it IS the vibe! 12/10
10. Jopping by SuperM - Grouped with Horololo by EXO-CBX and Sorry, Sorry by Super Junior. WHEN WE JUMPING AND POPPING WE JOPPING!!! BROS This song is IT (it being the very beginning of my descent into the madness that is stanning NCT) But fr this is an absolute banger, you will be jopoing by the end of the song, I have no notes, everyone needs to hear this song STAT! 100/10
I'm gonna tag @plaid-n-converse @emperor-xerneas and @freelancerofthetriforcekeyblade

News!
News! News! News!
💙About the post:
As some of you may had notice I didn't add pictures to the last posts, that's pretty much because I noticed that for some stupid reason picking pictures take me more time that writing the full preferences, so I'll make some banners to use in the future. Until I have time and inspiretion for that we'll be out of pictures, sorry.
💙About the groups list:
I've been considering to add NCT 127 to the list of groups I write... But yeah, it would be only the 127 line because being honest I'm not that well related to other NCT members.
So... Yeah, you'll may see them in the lists soon.
💙About... All that's sad and twisted (Heo Chan and Ravn)
I decided to continue writing about both Heo Chan and Ravn but they'll be moved to the bottom of the post after the proper warning.
You'll be free to make requests specifying you want Chan/Ravn out of it.
But also, if you pass through a post with no Chan/Ravn you can request for them to be included.
Most important part: I already took position about both of their situations (and I prefer to keep it for my self), I try to find a way to make my writing confortable for those who still support them and those who are happy they're out but if you're not ok with my resolución fell free to unfollow me and even block me if you feel like so. But under no circumstance I'll allow disrespect to me, my writing, my readers, Victon, Alice, Oneus, To moon, Heo Chan or Ravn. Anyone who talk about it in a salty way will be blocked.

ok!! i'm sure a couple of you were waiting for this, but here it is:
my fave choreos of 2021!
i'm gonna go in reverse order (top faves are last) this time just to mix it up. i don't think this is as long as my stylings posts but also who knows anymore, honestly.
---
runners' up
lay - flying asparas
this is only a runner up because it's not technically kpop but make no mistake, this is the best kpop adjacent choreo to come out of 2021. no exceptions. this man is king shit no wonder sm won't let him back in korea, he's too powerful now. watch this performance and CRY.
+
area - minho
really late entry from minho, from a rearranged version of area from his fanmeet on dec 21st. it's the most complex or fancy choreography this year but i really enjoy watching it during the fanmeeting, and i love the use of the rolling stool.
+
intro: crown - purple kiss
again with the rbw groups killing the intro choreographies. this was for the intro for their DEBUT!!! it's clean, it's sharp, it's interesting, it's got character, and the track itself is fun even if it is a billie eilish knockoff.
+
vibin' - youngjae
honestly i wasn't expecting a whole lot out of youngjae as a soloist, mostly because i didn't know what to expect. so therefore i was pleasantly surprised by how much i liked vibin'. it's cute and fun and i love that it has a lot of partner work and a bench. there's also a lot of depth of movement and it's very dynamic for a relative simple choreo (as you can tell by the camera shake).
+
not the end - highlight
another relatively simple choreo that's clean and satisfying to watch and doesn't impede vocal performance. choreos don't always have to be revolutionary to be good. also is that their practice room?? it's fucking gorgeous with that light setup.
+
intro: devil is in the detail - oneus
the first entry from oneus, and spoiler alert it's not the last. i love the use of the backup dancers for large multiple leveled formations, like right at the beginning and at 1:03. i also like the combination of really sharp isolated movements and smooth lyrical ones. like the name of the song, the devil really is in the details.
+
waiting - woodz
i liked this choreo a lot but i didn't like it more than i liked feel like, so i bumped it down. but we love a good stool choreo in this house and the dance practice is halloween themed, which is cute.
+
intro: window - oneus
do i even. have to say anything.
+
teardrop - sf9
honestly this is here just for intro, because those tree of life formations are so pretty. it's a bit hard to tell from this choreography video but if you're reading this you've likely already seen a lot of this choreo already, so you know.
---
faves
us - moon jongup
youtube
there is SO much lateral movement in this choreo i am obsessed with it. and longitudinal. there's just so much movement in general in this choreo that even though it isn't complicated it's still fun to watch. he's not afraid to have his backup dancers be doing things of equal importance to himself as the solo performer and it adds a lot of texture to the performance that sometimes is lacking in solo stages.
+
black mirror - oneus
youtube
that knee move. that knee move. this choreo really demostrates how versatile oneus is in their style of movements and concept execution. although there are a lot of groups that have a very consistent level of skill, oneus really is a step above that. obvious i love the props use, even if it is a bit of a challenge to use mirrors on stage (they ended up not being real mirrors in the stages because mirrors that big are huge hazards in terms of light direction, and can blind audience members and performers alike, especially when they move).
+
ra pam pam - golden child
youtube
i'm actually not going to talk about it too much here because addy sent me an ask about this specifically that i'm also in the middle of, but please know that i am deeply in love with this choreography and golden child has had a special place in my flop collection ever since rtk. it is an actual crime that they never put out a proper dance practice for it.
+
spider - hoshi
youtube
i don't think i really have to justify spider's place on this list. i really wish more idols were willing to use props like this but also i know that he only was able to pull this off because he's got access to hybe money + power and it didn't have a full promotional cycle attached to it. this choreographer is really good and i know team same has choreographed for svt before, but this was such a nice change from the vast majority of choreos this year.
+
thank u - yunho
youtube
listen, any choreo where yunho gets to sit on a throne of his dancers is a good choreo, and that intro image is SO strong i literally forget everything else that happens in this choreo even though so much of it is good. that point move with the hand in the chorus is so simple but such a great image and also it's a really clear example of letting a specific body part lead your movement. again, great example of how a choreo doesn't have to be crazy complicated or insanely difficult to be good.
+
tail - sunmi
youtube
i've talked about this choreo a bit in my sunmi posts before but we all knew this was gonna be here. i will always be said that they changed it from her jumping on that dancer's lap but at least we have a record of it. sunmi's choreos are always intricately tied to the themes of her comebacks and tail is no exception. and it's one of only a few choreographies of hers that is sexy sexy on purpose, even if it still is being used as a manipulation tactic. go browse my sunmi tag if you wanna hear me talk more about this.
+
feel like - woodz
youtube
not a technically difficult choreography by any stretch of the imagination, but it is difficult because there is so much empty space that relies on the charisma of the performer, which you can see really clearly in the follow shot version and also in just. any performance that he does. this choreo is also built for him; it uses a lot of movements that accentuate his very long limbs (he's about 6') and how much space his body takes up. he's physically bigger than most of his backup dancers and even with the male dancers it minimizes them by changing levels constantly or keeping him at the very front of the formations. although a shorter dancer could cover this choreo easily, just the disparity in size would pretty dramatically change how this choreo looks and it would take on a different meaning; which is the mark of a good and well thought out choreography. also any choreo that opens with someone lying on the ground and flipping up like that reminds me of chanyeol's intro from obsession and that's a big plus in my books.
+
advice - taemin
youtube
y'all knew this was gonna be here. there's a lot to love about this choreo but something i want to point out is that, like i previously mentioned with the feel like choreo: advice is built for taemin's size. he uses the fact that he's a little smaller than the average dude to augment the theme of dualities that runs through advice; so when he's with the female dancers he's larger than them, and when he's with the male dancers he's smaller than them, giving him the illusion of occupying two different spaces of power even though the movements are exactly the same. that's why for youngbin's cover, even though it looks right and it sure as hell was ballsy to do the supreme look, it also doesn't look right because youngbin has a totally different body type and he's got at least 3-4" on taemin, so he's as big/if not bigger than his backup dancers. byeongkwan from a.c.e has also done a cover and he gets much closer to how it feels like it should look because byeongkwan is the same height as taemin, and therefore smaller than the backup dancers. even if this choreo wasn't hard as fuck it would still be extremely difficult to cover just because of that, much like every other taemin choreo ever.
+
will make a mistake - blitzers
youtube
am i going to lose credibility in some people's eyes because i'm putting a rookie group choreography near the top of my list? probably, but know what's worse? that the industry is so starved for theatricality and character in performances that i immediately latched onto this because it's one of the first times i've actually seen a whole group give 100% to a goofy concept in a while. i've never gotten tired of watching these performances and i watched every single music show stage they did. i love the gimmick of the mouth and they don't overuse it (here's the performance mv so you can see it proper), and they really try to diversify the shapes and numbers within formations. i don't know what else to tell you other than this is what i think 4th gen boy group choreographies should look like.
+
luna - oneus
youtube
i know a lot of people are gonna compare this to vixx's shangri la and want to cry foul that it's 'just a copy and it will never compare' and i gotta stop you right there. firstly, i am very sure that some things are in fact, referential to shangri la on purpose (the opening pose of shangri la + the ending of luna, for example) and it's done in homage rather than strictly copying, and also: shangri la has an entirely different theme. shangri la is an abstract work, conceptual (literally) on purpose to invoke the actual meaning of the shangri la myth/story, and it uses something closer to 'generic east asian' as it's styling to highlight the orientalism of the whole as an idea and a term. versus luna, which is very very deeply grounded in very real korean folk traditionalism and pansori, especially in the choreo and costuming. there's at least three instances of korean folk dance moves that i could spot right away, and they use the extended sleeves from talchum, and the fabric sheets are the six traditional colours (obangsaek + green). and when it comes it the choreography itself? it takes all the ideas that the shangri la choreo introduced and built them into something bigger and better, and that is exactly what an adaptation on a theme should do. just watch the dance practices side by side and you'll see; a lot of shangri la's elegance is carried solely by hakyeon and despite the fans it's still a fairly typical bg choreo. luna has the fans built in as an integral part of the geometry AND brings in other elements from korean folk dance, so even though there's a more hiphop dance break, the full choreo itself is a hybrid mix of lyrical and traditional and hiphop. i really love this choreography and this comeback and i am so glad it got them their first win.
---
that's it! i've spent a loooong time mulling this over and there were a couple that just barely didn't make the list, including a.c.e's higher and bad love, as well as a couple others. but i gotta stop somewhere, sadly. fingers crossed for some good stuff this year!

Are you free ?
Tumblr media
imagine having a crush on the new part-timer!Seoho.
you worked at a small book cafe in town called ONEUS. it was a chill and cosy place. if there weren't any customers, you would make some hot chocolate for yourself and read an interesting book.
today was different, you were promoted as a senior part-timer as a new one started working today. his name was Seoho. you recognised him as one of the book cafe's regulars.
it was fun having a new colleague. you didn't really like initiating conversations with others but Seoho's adorable aura made you want to approach him.
"how's work so far?". you asked him softly as Seoho placed a cleaned cup on the rack.
he smiled widely as his eyes turned into tiny crescents and giggled. "it's great! i didn't know working at a book cafe would be this fun! it's very calm and refreshing!".
you restrained yourself from squealing at his cuteness and just gave a forced smile as you nodded your head. "that's good to know. if you have any troubles, just inform me alright?". Seoho nodded cutely and carried on with his job.
you had to admit it , after a few weeks of working with Seoho, you began having a slight crush on him. Seoho was hardworking and would always try his best to entertain the customers or help you and the other workers out. sometimes , you would unconsciously stare at him in admiration instead of reading a book on your free time.
you snapped out of your zone as a soft voice interrupted. "hmm, you really love reading books by Takatsuki Sen huh?".
in reflex, you closed the book and looked up to the owner of the voice.
"ye--yeah, they're very interesting. how about you? do you like reading books?". you asked shyly.
Seoho hummed as he rested his head on his palm.
" i like comics more, honestly. before started working , i used to always hang at the comics corner here. and i still do sometimes when i finished my job.". he replied and scratched the corner of his forehead.
you noticed that he would always do the gesture when he felt embarrassed or awkward. which you thought was cute.
"ahh, i see. well, why don't you recommend some comics to me? i might like and dive into them sometime..". you didn't know why you kept talking to him when your heart was obviously beating twice as fast as usual.
Seoho smiled cutely and bit his lips as he thought of some interesting comics to recommend.
"if you like fantasies and actions , Tokyo Ghoul is pretty good, one of my favs actually. if you prefer romance, Last Game would give you all the feels. Kakao 79 is great too but it is still incomplete. if you lik--ahh sorry , i am babbling too much aren't i?". Seoho listed down some comics but stopped halfway as he scratched his forehead again.
you chuckled and shook your head at him. you didn't want him to stop talking because he was too cute obviously.
"no no , i am open to all of your recommendations really, since i'm kind of new to comics.". you tried to comfort him.
you swore you've never seen his eyes sparkled so brightly after he heard your words.
"really? people always shut me off when i talk about comics. i thought you would be annoyed too if i babble too much.". he explained and pouted sadly.
you unnoticingly mirrored his expression as you patted his head. "aww , it's okay. i love listening to your interests!". Seoho blinked and looked at you with an unreadable expression. your eyes widened as you realisrd what you just blurted out.
" i me--mean, you can ta--talk about your interests wi--with me. i uuhm i have some work so talk to you later!". you quickly kept your book and rushed anywhere away from Seoho before you could embarrass yourself further.
-
it's been a few days since the incident and things were back to normal. Seoho would sometimes blabber about a new comic he just finished. most of the time you wouldn't remember a single thing about his storytelling because you were too busy admiring Seoho and his cute expressions when he talks. you especially love it when he scrunches his nose .
one day Seoho suddenly came to you with a worried expression. you turned to him with concern as he tapped your shoulder lightly.
"are you free later after 3pm?". Seoho asked.
your heart skipped a beat. is it finally happening? a miracle? is he finally asking you out?
"yes.. i me--mean no! i actually have plans with my parents later...". you stuttered and almost forgot your afternoon schedule.
Seoho's shoulders dropped as he pouted. "ahh, i thought i wanted to ask you for a favour to cover my shift later. it's okay if you can't . i'll just cancel my plans.".
you blinked at his words. confused. *he.. he was not asking me out?* . you thought and cried on the inside.
"i--i'm really sorry.". you apologised softly . Seoho waved his hands cutely and shook his head. "no no , i shouldn't have made plans during my shifts. please don't worry.". you felt better as he comforted.
a few weeks later,Seoho approached you with a similar expression. before he could say anything, you bowed to him apologetically and held your hands together. "i'm really sorry Seoho,i can't cover for you today because i have plans with my friend.".
Seoho stopped halfway in his tracks and quickly pulled you up from your bowing position.
"oh no no . please don't be sorry. please. ". you pouted and looked at him sadly. his next moves surprised you. Seoho only chuckled and ruffled your hair playfully. you bet your face was beet red as you felt it warmed up at his light touch.
"i said it's okay, didn't i? don't worry too much, okay?". you only managed to nod, afraid you would blurt out stupid nonsense in your current condition. Seoho gave a last smile before going back to his work station.
a few days after, Seoho walked up to you again with a worried face. no it was more of a nervous one. you didn't know but all you knew was that you tried to keep your schedule free so you could help him out.
"ah Seoho! i am free today so you don't have to worry about cancelling your plans again because i can cover for you! i know you told me not to worry but i can't help it an---". your words were cut off when Seoho called out your name.
he stepped closer and held your shoulders to keep you still and stop you from rattling on and on.
your eyes widened at the sudden contact. Seoho must've been surprised at his actions too as he stared at you with wide eyes. the two of you stayed in that position for a few seconds before you stepped back away from him gently. his arms fell on his sides as he stepped closer and covered the small distance again.
"listen. i've been trying to ask you this since the past weeks but i kept on failing. would you, go on a date with me?". Seoho shyly asked but still kept an eye contact with you.
you gulped at his question. you bit the insides of your cheeks to see if you were dreaming.
*is he really. holup. HOLUP. MY HEART IS NOT READY* you screamed in your head as you cleared your throat.
"it's really fine if you don't want to. i totally und--".
"sure. i would love to.".
"re--really??".
you smiled and chuckled at his reaction. "yes Seoho, i would love to go on a date with you.".
Seoho's cute tiny crescent eyes were formed as he lifted his lips into a wide smile.
"that is great! how about tonight ? after i finish my shift. i will text you the details and we can meet up?". Seoho suggested.
you nodded and gave a thumbs up. "that is absolutely great.".
Seoho was about to walk away but you stopped him quickly.
"wait, you've been trying to ask me since the past weeks? what do you mean?".
Seoho cleared his throat awkwardly as he tried to find the words to explain to you.
"uhm remember when i asked if you were free after 3pm? yeah, that was my first attempt. but you had plans with your parents . and so i didn't want to embarrass myself and told you about covering my shift.. the 2nd time i tried , you cut me off by saying that you had plans again. and today is finally the day i had the courage to ask you directly. no more a coward.".
you listened to his long explanation and felt your face warming up again. you can't believe you've been rejecting him and embarrassing yourself all these while.
"ah. i am really sorry . really. ahhhhh i am so stupid. ". you whined as you knocked your head with your fist .
Seoho giggled and quickly held your wrist before you could knock your head again.
"no it's okay. you are not stupid , don't say that. i'm just glad you didn't turn me down this time.".
you gave him a shy smile as he let go of your wrist only to interwine your fingers together.
" and thank you for trying to keep your schedule free to cover for me, that is very sweet of you." he added.
the two of you smiled at each other for a few seconds before he pulled his hand away gently and ruffled your hair lovingly.
"i should go back to work then.". he said. his body hesitating to separate from you as he walked away slowly, as if you were going to fade if you were out of his sight. you nodded your head and waited till Seoho went to the back.
you swore you heard him squeal. you chuckled and after a few moments of processing that everything wasn't a dream, you went back to work too. though it was a bit difficult to focus.
apparently Seoho had been crushing on you way before he worked at ONEUS.
when he started as a part-timer, you did recognise him as a regular.
Seoho became a regular because of you. he was attracted to you the first time he came to the book cafe. although you didn't really do anything special, your every move was flattering to him.
he had been admiring you from afar. he wanted to get to know you but being the shy boy he is, he didn't. so when he saw that the book cafe needed more staffs , Seoho thought it would be a great opportunity to befriend you and at the same time save up some pocket money.
Seoho was excited for your first date and had it all planned out neatly. Seoho really hoped the date goes well and that there will be a next date. Seoho hoped the precious friendship will turn into a loving relationship.
all these while you thought you liked him first. but in actual fact, the cute shy boy liked you first.
.
.
a/n : yes. i am a fool for oneus now. esp Seoho TT hope you guys love it! andddd dont forget to check out ONEUS and ONEWE ♡♡

I watched all the videos you linked and then some and I am back to say, I should have given them a chance sooner. They are so talented! I was nervous when I saw you mentioned they didn't have a rapper. I tend to bias rappers so I was worried I wouldn't click with them but nope, they are great!
I watched the videos in the order you listed and then found performance videos for all the mv ones to be able to see the choreo too. You'd thought I might have heard We Must Love but I think I'd actually heard Why before. That synth part is really distinctive and I loved it. Though, that's also true for We Must Love lol All of the groups I stan have a mv that was the one I watched and was like... yep sold. Oneus was Come Back Home, a.c.e was Undercover, and now ONF it was New World. It really just blew me away! It might also be that the opening was when I realized I'm likely to bias Hyojin or Seungjun. (Do fans actually call him J-Us? It sounds like jesus and that feels weird to me.)
I really liked their choreo. I'm not a dancer and know nothing about dance but I've started noticing some groups have a signature style. For ONF it seems like they almost have more contemporary feel sometimes? Like the hop step thing, most obvious in Fly me to the Moon but was part of other choreo, almost seems like tap? But yeah, all the songs were great! Gepetto was maybe not quiet my taste but yayaya with the violin was awesome! Beautiful beautiful was fun. And Fly Me to the Moon with the saxaphone! Also... I don't declare a bias until I see more of them off stage but Hyojin with the pink hair was... distracting in a good way.
Thank you for taking the time to give such thoughtful recommendations!!! I'm going to go watch a bunch of behind type stuff now. If there are any particularly cute or funny ones you wanted to rec that'd be great but you have really done enough to recruit me lol
(Also, you don't have to apologize for talking to much! It wasn't too much! I appreciate it! I feel like I should apologize for taking up your time when I could have just gone through videos myself. But it's nice to start with stuff I'm more likely to like than to happen across the three songs I don't vibe with and give up.) (And sorry if this is just a wall of text. I don't think anon lets me do any formatting.)
Okay, I'm sorry to bug you again but I had to come back to say that I listened to the it's live band version of Beautiful Beautiful and the acapella part near the end... asldfkjasldkm 😲🤯🤯😍😍😍👏👏👏👑 my ears are blessed. The mv version is good but knowing its "live" and seeing them each doing their part... I'm just... that's some talent right there. Its official, we stan.
omg NOOOO never be sorry!! also this is definitely NOT considered bugging me lol. i wont apologize for talking too much if you dont apologize for "bugging" me ^^ u have NO idea how happy these messages made me!! im always happy when people like my recommendations, but especially if its about onf. they mean so much to me!
i mean onf does technically have a rapper (wyatt) but most fuse agree that he should be a singer instead lol hes got a beautiful voice. also i must applaud you on how much effort you put into this! even looking into choreo... love it. also no, (most) fans dont really call him j-us, either juice (as a nickname) or just seungjun.
YESSSS their dancing!!! its SO GOOD. in a world where boy group dances tend to be hard hitting and all about being masculine, onf shines with their fluid, smooth and soft(er) motions. hyojin is just. distracting in general believe me i get it. im excited to see who you lean towards for your bias tho!
hmm not a lot of onf's behind the scenes videos are subbed, especially their earlier stuff, but i definitely recommend their self-shot b side music videos! the self cams, i mean. but ESPECIALLY the good good one! this isnt behind the scenes but i must plug in my two favorite dance covers and by that i mean. just LOOK AT YUTO....
... sorry. ANYWAY a bunch of the part switches and halloween videos are really fun to watch even if you dont know whats going on. and of course my personal favorite video of theirs is their "changing" video where they show how stylists cut their hair and dyed it for their debut. fascinating stuff tbh
yesss byubyu band ver! is SO GOOD like iconic really. they sound great. "it's official, we stan" WELL LOOKS LIKE MY JOB HERE IS DONE.... just kidding feel free to come to me at anytime with more stuff!

hiya 🧅! sorry, i don't know what to call you.
i've had a rough couple of days in my personal life so i don't really have the energy to think much or socialise right now. i'm fine tho, don't worry about it, im just saying.
so mission whatever number. tbh i'm dumdum and idk how i'm supposed to send you links to vids in an ask. i'm just gonna say what comes to mind first. for ateez im gonna say the kq fellaz perf vid number one. i haven't actually watched that in a while now but i've watched it a million times in the past. i'm a sucker for choreo ig. one for yeosang and everglow is that video of them dancing the first choreo together. love it when my faves meet. another one from the same category would be that one time of mc soobin and ateez and soobin getting distracted and straying from the script bcs of yeosang's arms lol. my bias checking out my other bias, love it. yeosang eating a chocolate croissant and smearing chocolate all over his face.
basically all my brain can deliver rn is yeosang.
also i'm currently obsessed with sf9 taeyang so i'm gonna list *him* as a fave moment.
do you have any funny or cute fave moments?
hope youre doing good. -☀️🌙
🧅 is totes fine! Haha. (onion actually a pun on my last name, that's one of the reason i chose kponion as my username lol)
I'm sad to hear that. I hope things get better soon! Don't feel any stress about having to send the asks straight away or anything, i don't mind waiting.
Nah, it's not very clear how to do that, so don't worry. If you mark a word/sentence you can choose to make that word/sentence into a link. But i think i'll find them anyway! I think i've seen them all, at least the yeosang moments with everglow and mc soobin i've seen gifs from, love them. And ateez choreo is always a fave. Don't think i know the yeosang croissant moment? Anyway, valid with only yeosang moments.
And yeah, taeyang is a whole moment himself, i can relate to that.
So the first thing that came to mind is the jaehyun's performance at kbs song festival 2019. It's iconic. One of my all-time favorite kpop moment. And while we're talking about n.flying i have to say all their covers, but two i always come back to are into the unknown and 白日
With a.c.e it's the videos i've already talked about lol. So jindo arirang and youngblood. A oneus moment i love is their collab with the boyz on rtk. I love it so much.
There are probably more moments that i can't remember right now. I have a lot of moments i love with other groups too, but if i start listing them we'll be here all day lol.
Take care!

Well then I'm relieved. Just know that I will talk a lot more about my faves now 💕
Thank you for the oneus songs recs. Once I finish listening to them, I'll let you know about what I think. ^^ Also, I just now realize where your url comes up. Smart and funny url. I like your brain Hopey. 💖
Once again, thank you for the kingdom song recs. The advantage of them being a rookie group is that there won't be too much content to catch up to *cough cough* unlike nct *cough cough*
With SHINee, even if you have a bias, you bias the whole group. They're so funny. I like how they don't take themselves seriously. They seem like such fun people to be around lol And yeah, key and minho, your taste! I agree :D
YES! NCT DREAM ARE MY FAVES TOO!!! Oh yeah, renjun, chenle and jisung are so precious. I understand why they're your biases. Such great taste!
I'm so happy we have so much in common. I'm sure we'll discover so many things in common while talking to each other. ^^
I went to your bias tag and I see you like ryujin. Immaculate taste as well. My itzy bias is chaeryeong, but ryujin is catching up.
How about this? I've seen these top 10 songs of the first half of 2021, what are yours? Doesn't have to be strictly kpop, you can talk about any artist you like. I love listening (more like reading in that case) to other people talk about their faves and music in general. 💕
I hope you're having a beautiful day and I can't wait to know more about you.
Omg yessss!! And thank you, I like your brain too <3 Good brains!!!!
Ahhhh, omg Chaeryeong is literally my bias wrecker. She is the cutest, most precious!!! Absolutely love her. Ryujin is my queen tho, it just can't be helped!
Ahhh! That's a great suggestion! Well, I'll open my spotify list because that will tell me what I'm listening to more than my memory will LOL
I mean 90% of my playlists are kpop, I only have a couple that I use for instrumentals and other musicians so it will likely all be kpop LOL I can't help it, it's just the music that speaks to me most right now
So according to spotify these are my top ten:
1. Karma by Kingdom (no surprises there LOL) Their entire album is full of great songs that show all their different sides, but this song is definitely my top, right next to Magical.
2. Anyone by Seventeen. This song is just The One on their most recent album. It's so good
3. In the morning by Itzy. My queens, you know?? I can't get over it LOL
4. Drunk-Dazed by Enhypen. This comeback being their first comeback and it being so strong really had me sold on them. (I mean I was already sold, I watched them on iland and voted for them and stuff LOL) but I wasn't sure I'd be into their music much, but this comeback was so solid. Much like Kingdom's first comeback being more solid than their debut, and I think that shows so much growth for both artists.
5. Hot Sauce by NCT Dream. I'm sorry but this whole album was insane and I'm obsessed with it. End of story. LOL
6. Intro: Echoes of Nirvana. Yeah, this is just the intro for the Kingdom album, but I listen to it almost as often as I listen to Karma, as long as it's not on shuffle. So, yeah. I'm obsessed and it's just an instrumental.
7. Excalibur by Kingdom LOL I mean, we have a running theme here. They're my boys.
8. Black Mirror by Oneus. Literally this song has been my JAM lately. I am all about it. These funky boys doing their funky dance is my fave
9. Any by Stray Kids. This song is another song that is just The One for no particular reason but it speaks to me LOL and honestly Stray Kids are all about the bangers and the quick chorus literally has me obsessed.
10. Rain To Be by Onewe. You know I had to have my favorite kband in this mix. So moody, so nice. We love to see it.
Okay...whew LOL tell me your top ten, friend!!! Also yes, I am so excited to get to know you more! I think we're gonna be fast friends :)

Most Kpop groups perform twice in Texas (Houston and Dallas) but ignore the entire Midwest. =p It'll be even worse for me once I graduate and (hopefully) move to my dream state which is even more remote. Also A.C.E!! I'm so jealous! I was actually on a school trip to London the same day as their London show last year but wasn't allowed to go ;;. For Kidult questions, I'd love to hear how your tastes have changed since you got into Kpop so: Now VS Then: Favorite Songs, Favorite... 2/3 - 🌹💎
Choreography, Favorite Group Show (like GoSe or Monsta X Ray). And First VS Latest: K-drama and Bias(es). Hope you have a lovely day and thank you again for putting so much effort into my playlist! ❤️ I'm going to be downloading all the songs so I can listen to them off Spotify/YouTube! 3/3 -🌹💎
OOOOOOF yeah that really sucks :// so few kpop groups even acknowledge the midwest and i think mx was one of the few i know who even considered going there (except their concert got postponed so.... :///) it’s ok tho i believe in your ability to finally go to a concert! (once all this covid stuff is over >.>) also dang! if you don’t mind me asking, where are you thinking of heading? ngl i can’t imagine myself living in a remote-ish place so hats off to you.
ALSO NOOOO I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU WERE SO CLOSE TO ACE BUT COULDN’T GO. THAT’S THE WORST. it’s really funny tho bc i saw a.c.e TWICE and if i really wanted to, i could’ve seen them four times LOL the reason is, at one point in like 2018/2019, i was in LA when they were in LA for their concert and i went up to seattle (for school) about the time they were there, so if i REALLY wanted to at the time, i could’ve seen them twice. but i didn’t go LOL but last year, when they had another u.s. tour, their concert fell on my last day of finals and i COULD’VE gone except i was flying home that night. BUT i did get see them busking at UW which was super cool! and then when i flew back home to LA, i went to their concert with my friend!
OK! enough of me rambling. Kidult questions (under the cut bc this also got long..)
Now vs. Then
Favorite Songs: well most of my favorite songs have remained the same, i’ve just added on to the vast library. some favorites then were super junior’s bonamana, shinee’s lucifer, 2pm’s i’ll be back and ukiss’s shut up, 0330, and neverland (among SO many others of course). now, i like day6′s entire discography, the rose’s entire discography, svt’s kidult, mx’s zone and i’m recently obsessed with yezi’s home (again, among SO many others. i really can’t list everything i like LOL)
Favorite Choreography: back then, infinite’s be mine and the chaser! soooooo good. also teen top’s rocking. and 2pm’s heartbeat. and super junior’s sorry sorry (bc i could actually dance it) and ukiss’s neverland. (pretty sure i still have a few more but these were the ones i could remember off the top of my head). i still love these choreographies but now, i’m reallyyyy into seventeen’s choreography (OF COURSE. THEY’RE THE CHOREO KINGS). i’ve also been obsessively replaying onf’s cover of it’s raining and oneus’s come back home (from road to kingdom) among a few others.
Favorite Group Show: oh GOD is it bad if i don’t remember any group shows from back then except for U-Kiss Vampire? LOL OH SHINEE’S HELLO BABY WAS ALSO GOOD. but i think i was more into fandom interactions so my favorite show back then was Maknae Rebellion and Star Dance Battle lol. but now my favorite shows are actually GoSe and MX Ray LOL you got it on the nose
First vs. Latest
K-drama: oh god my first kdrama was so long ago i barely even remember. it was either City Hunter or Secret Garden... could not tell you which bc i actually didn’t watch it by choice and just watched whatever my cousin was watching at the time LOL if we’re talking about my first legit kdrama, it was probably Queen Inhyun’s Man or Dream High. as for my latest kdrama, i’m currently watching It’s OK to Not Be OK! and i spontaneously watched a few episodes of Into The Ring/Memorials for no other reason than to procrastinate LOOL
Bias(es): my first ever bias in kpop was hangeng from super junior LOL but it wasn’t truly a bias bc younger me just thought he was cute and that was the extent of my love. but when i properly got into kpop, henry lau (also from suju) was my first ever bias! as for my biases now, it’s kevin and jun for ukiss (with extra love and affection to soohyun, who is the sweetest man ever), joshua for svt (with bias wreckers mingyu and wonwoo.... and the rest of svt LOL), and changkyun for mx (sADLY lmao i’m kidding)
how about you anon? since you’re newer to kpop than me, first vs. latest kpop group you got into? bias(es)? favorite song(s)? and now vs. then, what was your music taste like?

What’s your favorite use of props in kpop choreos? Some of mine are the couch in Seventeen’s Pretty U, Dongkiz Lupin (love the way they worked the transition from stick to handkerchief into the choreo), Afterschool’s First Love, Dreamcatcher You and I (similar to Lupin but what can I say I’m big of fan with how Dani twirled that stick), also anytime anyone uses suspenders (Seventeen Aja Nice, Dia Mr. Potter, that one Girls Day song). There’s probably a lot more but those are the ones that come to mind. Honorable mentions: Afterschool Bang cause the drums aren’t actually apart of the dance but that shits still hella impressive and apparently it took them like 6 months to learn it. Also Dreamcatcher Deja Vu but only the outfits with the super long sleeves cause they worked so well with the choreo and seemed like parts of it were designed with the sleeves in mind
oh i love these fun questions!! you covered a few of the ones i was going to say already, namely lupin, first love, and bang. unwittingly you accidentally stumbled into the age old debate of when something is a costume and when something is a prop (and costume props all together) but i'm not going to get into that because it's just silly theatre semantics about who gets blamed when someone misplaces the umbrella. i'm generally grouping them here by 'if the item was intentionally worked into the choreography' as opposed to 'this is a costume choreo' and 'this is a props choreo' because that's too complicated for a tumblr post. anyways. there's actually been a surprising amount of prop work in choreos recently, idk what's going on but i'm not complaining! this was so fun to go hunting for stuff; i think i got a bit carried away but whatever. i sorted them into categories because i'm that kind of weird but here's a not totally comprehensive list!
chaireo
shinee - good evening: obviously has iconic chaireo and it's my favourite choreo of all time (fave choreos post where i wax poetic about it)
vixx - my valentine: the best sexy chaireo
2pm - adtoy: underappreciated in her time but also why did they make baby 2pm do this (i know they weren't babies but it suits post-enlistment 2pm soooo much better)
sf9 - trauma: should have had more chaireo but it does use the chairs in a not-chair way, so it gets creativity points.
furniture in general
got7 - poison: one of the early examples of pandemic steadicam, and bonus points for the fun handkerchieft midair swap
blitzers - hop in: big first year theatre kid energy
hoshi - spider: honestly i'm not sure if this migrates from prop choreography into architectural choreography but no one is going to argue semantics other than maybe me
oneus - black mirror: just an insane choreo in general; it's debatably a hat choreo and not a mirror choreo, but i remember the mirrors more than the hats for some reason.
ateez - take me home: they had no reason to make the choreo for this fuck so hard but they did. impatiently waiting for the day i can see it in high def.
sunmi - gashina: table.
mic stands/canes/umbrellas
shinee - dream girl: again, an icon. the stage i linked is the one where one of the mic stands breaks and they cover it SO flawlessly good luck trying to pick out them covering it up
exo - artificial love: whoreography (minus kyungsoo)
vixx - voodoo doll: which i think still remains the only choreo where the members stab each other
tan - du du du: uses both costuming and a prop!
knk - rain: this is my actual fave prop choreography because the integration is sooooooooo good. everything about it is incredible and whoever at mcountdown had the galaxy brain idea for the lasers do you want to make out. not sorry i buried the lead in here but i like categories better than lists.
fabric/ropes/elastics
taemin - door: is it furniture? is it ropes? who knows at this point
taemin - criminal: taemin bondage again
shinee - tell me what to do: ......taemin bondage again...?
boyfriend - witch: good luck getting 'cos your body goes boom bara boom' out of your head now!
tvxq - something: a fun convergence of ropes AND mics!
onlyoneof - suit dance: uses both their suit jackets and handkerchiefs!
trendz - villain: some surprisingly complicated sequences and i bet you at least one of these boys fell on their face in rehearsal
onlyoneof - libido: the vastly overlooked point about this choreo is that the costume designer jury-rigged a RETRACTABLE TAPE SYSTEM AND STRAPPED IT TO THEIR HANDS
misc items
tvxq - catch me: i don't even know. i couldn't tell you how someone came up with this but it fucks.
oneus - luna: my favourite choreo from 2021.
toppdogg - arario: has more props than you would expect there to be and they are suprisingly well integrated
vixx - shangri la: to be completely honest i don't actually like the choreography of shangri la that much, but people are probably gonna get mad at me if i don't include it here so...... (here's my 2021 fave choreos list if you want details on the luna v shangri la debate)
super junior - burn the floor: the-person-you-dislike-unfortunately-made-some-points.jpg
danger.gif
speed - what u: this shit is bananas.
nct dream - chewing gum: why did you make 15yros do this sm. why.

Tumblr media
You knock on the door of the dance studio, carrying a bag of take-out in one hand and your phone in the hand that knocked on the door. You had earlier texted the group chat to alert the boys that you were on your way with lunch, and Youngjo responded with an "okay" and series of emojis.
The door opens, and you are met with Youngjo, smiling brightly at you with his phone in hand. You can see the other five members behind him, all staring in your direction while sitting on the floor.
"Hey Y/N!" Dongju calls out before Youngjo can say anything, waving at you.
Dongju is the closest to your age in the group, the member you had befriended five years ago, before ONEUS's debut. He had been the one to introduce you to the rest of the group.
"Hey Dongju," you say, waving back. "Hey everyone!" Youngjo opens the door to let you enter the practice room. Keonhee grabs the plastic bag of takeout from your hand, sets it down on the floor, and starts taking the food out, while Geonhak, who was sitting closest to the door, quickly stands up and helps you get your coat off and folds it to set it aside for you.
"Thank you," you say to Geonhak. "It's raining outside."
"I can tell," Geonhak says, laughing. "Your hair is dripping. I should come with you next time to help you bring us food."
"What song were you guys practicing?" you ask, sitting down between Dongju and Geonhak. Geonhak sits down in his spot, helping Keonhee set all the food up.
"We were practicing A Song Written Easily," Seoho says. You sigh, smiling softly, thinking of the pretty song, which came out about three months ago. You've always admired the music, the raps, the vocals, the choreography of the song. It might not be your favorite song, but it is still a masterpiece.
"Oh, I've always wanted to learn that choreography," you say dreamily. "It's always so pretty to watch and rewatch your performances."
"You watch our performances?" Geonhak asks, turning to face you with an eyebrow raised, and you nod.
"Of course. I watch them almost every day, when I have time. I'm your friend, I want to support my friends," you say.
"Y/Nie, that's so sweet," Youngjo says.
"The choreographies are so pretty, I've always wanted to learn them," you continue.
"We could teach you sometime!" Hwanwoong says cheerfully. "Which choreographies do you want to know most, Y/Nie?"
"Oh gosh, I don't know. A Song Written Easily or Valkyrie, probably," you say. If you were to be honest, you would have listed every single one of their songs with choreographies, but that would be unrealistic.
"We still have practice for another two hours after our lunch break, you can watch us practice if you want," Geonhak suggests.
You nod, unable to stop yourself from smiling.
After the boys have finished eating the food you brought them--Dongju gave you a bit of his food--you hang out with them for half an hour.
"What choreographies do you know already, Y/N?" Seoho asks.
"Mostly girl group choreos," you say shrugging. "Especially because TWICE's and SNSD's songs are so catchy. I know a few Pentagon and BTS choreos."
"Oh? Do you know the choreo of Pentagon's Shine?" Seoho asks, and you nod. "Show us."
While he plays Shine from the speaker, the two of you do the choreography together while the others watch, laughing, clapping and singing along. After you've finished, you're sweating and panting. Seoho  as a K-Pop idol, is used to this workout. You, on the other hand, are not a K-Pop idol. You can barely call yourself athletic. Of course you're out of breath from doing the shoot dance.
"Good job," Seoho says, patting your back as you sit back down next to him. "You would make a good trainee."
Geonhak nudges you, and offers me an unopened plastic water bottle.
"Thank you," I say, taking it and downing the water.
"Y/N, what other choreos do you know?" Hwanwoong asks. An idea pops into your head, and you stand up on achy, tired legs.
"Just one. Let me get my phone out," you say, opening your phone and opening YouTube. You start typing in the search bar, 'Leedo 5G'.
The music starts playing, and the members except Geonhak and Youngjo start laughing, before getting to their feet and joining you in the dance. Hwanwoong and Seoho imitate the deep voice while Dongju, Keonhee and you just imitate the dance. Geonhak is pretending to cover his eyes as he laughs in embarrassment. Youngjo is laughing while watching, mouthing along with the song.
After the song ends, you all sit back down in your spots next to Geonhak, laughing off your joy and amusement.
"I should have quit all those years ago," Geonhak murmurs, but he can't hide his smile from you. "I hate you all."
Tumblr media
The boys resume their practice of A Song Written Easily. They move in sync, their footsteps echoing off the walls as they dance. You're seated with your back against the wall, your computer on your lap for work.
After about half an hour, you set your computer aside and watch the boys practice. They move so beautifully, you can tell it takes years of hard work and passion.
You've sat in on many of their practices within the past few years, but they still never fail to make you smile. It's like watching a painter work on their work in progress. You know it's going to be a masterpiece in the end, but there's a strange joy or honor in watching them create and perfect the piece. You see the piece when it's nothing, when it's a masterpiece, and everything in between.
After they've finished practicing, they all wander around the room, wiping sweat off of their foreheads and grabbing at their water bottles, talking about plans for after practice. Youngjo, Keonhee and Seoho are talking on the other side of the room, while Dongju and Hwanwoong are messing around in the corner. Geonhak, sweating, walks toward you. You grab Geonhak's bottle, the closest to you against the wall, and hand it to him as he approaches.
"Ah, thank you," he says, smiling gently as he sits down next to you. You admire his figure. He’s so large. His dark hair sticks to his forehead, and his skin glistens with sweat. He dabs away at his neck and cheeks with a towel. "What?" he asks you, eyebrows furrowed in a frown.
"Huh?"
"You're staring," Geonhak murmurs, just barely loud enough for you to hear, but not loud enough for the others to hear while milling about the practice room. You blink before looking away, but you can hear him laughing gently.
"Hey Geonhak," Youngjo calls out, drawing Geonhak's attention away from you before you can even think of a response. "The rest of us have to quickly help Seoho re-record for a song, come with us."
"Okay. We'll be back soon, Y/N," Geonhak says, waving goodbye. You wave back, smiling as he closes the door behind him.
You stay in the room alone, glancing at yourself anxiously in the large mirror, which stretches from floor to ceiling, end to end of the wall and curves somewhat to the adjacent walls. It probably helps the members watch their stance from more than one angle when they practice.
After a moment of considering what you can do to fill the silence, you push yourself to your feet and stand in the center of the room, in front of the mirror. You think back to the start of the A Song Written Easily choreography, and absentmindedly stand sideways in Geonhak's position.
You sigh, walk over to your computer and place it in front of the room, so that it’s set up against the mirror with the Weekly Idol Leedo clip of A Song Written Easily playing on full screen as you clumsily attempt to copy Geonhak's movements. You find it's not as easy as he always makes it seem, his movements confident and intentional and elegant, while your movements are stiff, clumsy and awkward, and you almost fall over several times.
How does he keep his balance? you wonder, frustrated as you restart the song for the fourth time, despite having only gotten twenty seconds into the song.
This time, you clumsily make it all the way up to the start of Geonhak's rap verse, about thirty seconds into the song. At the sound of his voice, you freeze up, watching in awe. His moves aren't elegant and flowy during his rap, but they're intentional and beautiful nonetheless. His body control is impressive.
Because he's a dancer.
"Wow . . ." you murmur. You wait until after his verse has ended to restart the song and try again.
You follow his moves as closely as you can, but you end up stumbling getting lost.
"Ah, damn it . . ."
"You're a bit ahead of the beat."
Startled, you whip around at the sound of a familiar deep voice, and Geonhak is standing at the back of the room. He’s leaning against the wall, a pleasant smile on his face as he watches you.
"I, uh, what? I mean--I'm sorry?" Your words come out in a jumbled mess as you bend down to pause the music.
"During Dongju's part, you lose your balance and move a bit too fast. You get lost right before Keonhee's part. I recommend you slow the song down to half speed when you practice at home."
You stare at him blankly.
"You're doing my part," he remarks.
"Yeah," you reply dumbly, ducking your head. Hopefully he hasn't noticed you blushing and smiling like an idiot. You're not used to people watching you do things, and you're not much of a dancer. You wonder how long he's been watching you. "Aren't you supposed to be with everyone helping Dongju record?"
Geonhak shrugs. "Thought you might be lonely. So I thought I'd check on you."
"Oh."
"Do you want help with the choreo?"
You shake your head. "That’s okay. You must be tired from practice. Maybe some other time, Geonhak."
"I'm not that tired. Try it again, I can direct you." He moves to sit in front of you, back against the mirror with your computer on his lap so you can see the screen. He starts the song over again.
You try the dance again, feeling how his eyes follow you as you move as he plays the song for you. He calls out to you as you dance, firmly but gently so as not to distract you too much. "You're rushing, slow down a bit. Step. Step. Step. There you go."
His deep voice is calming, you think. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t. But right now, it is. You follow his instructions, going through the first half of the first verse twice. You stop just as his rap begins, and he pauses the music, standing up from where he sits.
"Good job, you're improving. You need to relax your muscles. And bend your knees a bit more at the beginning, like this." Geonhak demonstrates, humming the song as he moves. You watch him dance, mesmerized, not paying as much attention to the moves as you should be.
"Y/N, are you even paying attention?"
You blink, coming back to your senses. "Oh, yes. Your dancing is amazing," you say, and Geonhak smiles shyly, glancing around the room. He is easily made shy.
"Ah, thank you."
"Geonhak?"
He looks back at you, face serious once more, but he's still smiling a bit. "Yes?"
"Could you . . . could you please teach me how to dance?" you ask. "I've wanted to dance so much, but it's so hard to in my free time, plus I'm not good at teaching myself this stuff. I know you're a busy man, so you can say no, but would mean a lot if you could teach me."
Geonhak blinks at you, brow furrowed. Not in anger but in confusion. At the same time, his eyes are wide and his cheeks are a bit pink. "Me? Y/N, I'm not the best dancer on the team. I'm a dancer but . . . maybe Hwanwoong or Seoho would be better teachers?"
You shake your head stubbornly. "Other than Dongju, you're the member I'm the closest to. I'm much more close to you than I am to Hwanwoong and Seoho. I'm kind of too nervous to ask them. Besides, when you were guiding me earlier, it really helped me."
After a moment, he smiles. "Alright, I'll teach you to dance."
You look up happily. "Really?"
Geonhak laughs, nodding. "Yes, I'll teach you to dance. But not today, I'm too tired. Here's a plan. What if I teach you twice a week, after ONEUS practices. You can use this practice room whenever you need, though."
You nod. "Yes, absolutely."
"I'll also be giving you 'homework' too. You need to exercise and stretch, you need to practice on your own. Alright?"
"Alright."
The door bursts open, and in walk the rest of the members. Youngjo, Keonhee and Hwanwoong are discussing something about the recording, while Dongju and Seoho are play wrestling, Dongju trying hard to bite at Seoho's finger.
"Oh, there you two are," Youngjo says, smiling.
"How'd the recording go?" you ask.
"It went well. It's hard to get it just right, but I think we might have gotten it right this time. If not, it was definitely close."
"That’s good to hear."
Youngjo glances from you to Geonhak, then back at you. "What were you two up to?"
"Geonhak was helping me try the A Song Written Easily choreography," you say. Youngjo opens his mouth to speak when a yell pierces through the air, echoing off of the walls, startling you, Youngjo and Geonhak. You turn to find that Dongju has finally managed to bite Seoho's finger, and you laugh.
How lucky you feel, that you befriended Son Dongju and Dongmyeong all those years ago. Otherwise you wouldn't be friends with all of the people in this room with you. And your joy isn't because you're friends with all these famous idols. No, it's because you're friends with all these silly goofballs.
