Nicknames: Isa, because it's a shorten form of my name, and Potato (or Batata, in Portuguese), because I really like potatoes. I love them so much I made a music about those marvelous tubers.

Gender: Female.

Astrological sign: Leo. Funny enough, it's my weakest astrological force - Virgo is the strongest.

Height: 1,72m (oh please don't ask me to use the imperial system, it's so confusing >.< But I'm like, average height)

Sexuality: quoiromantic gray-asexual (although I'm quoi - a.k.a. I have no inane idea of what romantic attraction is like and couldn't identify it if my life depended on it -, I'm aromantic strict - a.k.a. I'm not in the gray area and never feel infatuated). I'm living proof that an aro/quoiromantic person can still be a heavy shipper xD

Favourite animais: Cats, I'm the crazy cat lady. I also love seals and sea lions! They are so cute! Other animals I really like are foxes and corvids - smart smol cuties. And at last, but not least, there are elephants. They are such majestic and pure creatures! They are altruistic, artistic, delicate giants, I wish humans were more like them.

Number of blankets: The more the merrier.

Where I'm from: Minas Gerais, Brazil. Yeah, you probably never heard about it, so let me pitch my homestate because I REALLY LOVE MINAS GERAIS. It's beautiful. Like, really, really beautiful! We have mounts everywhere, and sometimes the clouds look like a giant wave breaking against them. It's one of the most beautiful sights I ever had. The vegetation is also awesome! It' a very green state, even our capital city is filled with trees. Our main biome is called Cerrado - that means the trees are small and kinda spaced, with a lot of cactus and smaller plants around. It looks like a green savannah, but picture it in mountainous terrain. We also have really cool waterfalls, lakes and rivers, it's common to people to go swimming in them (it's a really nice experience, btw). You can see the architecture of Imperial Brazil even outside the famous historical cities - my father's hometown, Diogo De Vasconcelos, was like a relic frozen in time, with all the buildings, streets and even some of the culture remaining the same of the empire times. It's a really small town and not at all a touristic destination, but hey, Minas Gerais has the biggest heritage of art and architecture of Imperial Brazil - the stuff is everywhere! Oh, and talking about art, here is the homeland of several artists. Our churches are full of baroque treasures (it's different from the European style, btw). We also have lots of museums and galleries, specially at Belo Horizonte, our capital city. I kid you not when I say I would usually wander through the streets and just stumble on museums/art galleries I've never heard about, sometimes two in the same block! And there is the food... Oh, I could talk forever about comida mineira (Minas Gerais' cousine). Let it suffice to say that every single person I know who left Minas Gerais complained sorely about how the food wouldn't compare to ours. It's really good (especially our cheese) and we are really proud of it. We also make a marvelous cachaça (an alcoholic beverage made of sugar cane)! Minas Gerais is also the most LGBTQ+ friendly state in the Country (the research I'm basing this on was from 2017, so it may be outdated), but honestly this doesn't mean much in Brazil... But anyway, we're really friendly people.

I'll stop rambling because this thing is already enormous xD I would go on forever if I could. Sometimes I think about creating a Minas Gerais OC just to have an excuse to do so.

Dream trip:

Santa Catarina, Brazil, so I could visit my best friend. And I once had a weird, vivid dream about going to Florianopoles (SC's capital) when I was a child - I'd like to go there and see if anything is similar. Also... It was a literal dream trip? xD It felt so real my parents took years to convince me I never really went there.

Germany, because I have a weird obsession with the Country ever since I was a child and knew next to nothing about it. Also we share an admiration for kartoffel.

Every-freakin-where. I like to meet new cultures, to visit museums, to appreciate the architecture of the most simple buildings... Every travel is a worthy travel for me! I wish I could go everywhere! This is also why I love Hetalia so much: it exposes me to bits and pieces of different cultures, and the fandom has a lot of people with this same passion.

When I created this account: It's a mystery lost in time xD But it was a long, loooong time ago, back when tumblr was a wild(er) jungle and you could edit other people's posts.

Why I created this account: Another mystery lost in time... I have no freakin' idea. But I can tell you why I stayed: I need my fandom and shitposting juice.

Okay, harringrove hit me like a train, and now it’s just my naked bones rattling all over the railway.

I’m seriously so torn. I feel sick just thinking about watching season 3 for the very possible pain of it all, you know, Steve getting assigned a new gf, Billy getting killed off, all the antis shitposting under my sweet sweet otp’s tag...

On the other hand, I really want to believe the Duffers are trolling with all that “ohh a textbook enigmatic alt chickkkk! Billy’s just a dumb villainnnn, it’s gonna get worssssse! Everybody who you love from season 1 will DIEEEE!” Is this show really supposed to be that shallow? Does it really need that cheap hype? Frankly speaking, I don’t know what I expect from a Netflix tv pop show. I just hoped that the series made for geeks by geeks would somehow go deeper than “a human villain” esp since that “villain” is a 17 yo with daddy issues, and honestly making a piece of irredeemable trash out of a troubled teen (srsly he didn’t even have a knife or anything on him) is a total dick move on behalf of everyone responsible.

Now it’s time for me to explain why Billy isn’t deserving of all the crap he’s been given by the fandom. And okay, okay, I won’t put I JUST LOVE MAH BAYBEEEEHHHH all over the list.

First of all, I suggest to take a step back and take in the starting point. Billy’s a 17 yo guy, with an okay(ish?) step-mom, his actual mom being most probably dead (I’m not sure but I feel in the US it’s more common for women to get custody after divorce?) and a dad who gives Billy constant shit over the smallest things. Let’s not forget two more things: this 17 yo is supposed to be responsible for a 13 yo (dunno about you, I’d be super pissed off, because girls this age can give you HELL, boys give you HELL a bit later), and for whatever fuck up they both committed he’s exiled from his home place which means no memory of his mom apart from that little thing he always wears on that chain (is that just my hc tho?), no friends, no possible family like caring aunts-uncles-nanas-grandpas, no voice in the family. As I see the situation judging from those little snippets we gather from the conversations, Billy could have fucked up looking after Max, probably big time, probably it had smth to do with Susan’s ex and Max’s dad, so Neil had them packing and moving across the whole country. I just wonder how bad could that fuck up have been that Billy got guilt-tripped so badly he wasn’t able to say no and stay in Cali somehow? HE’S CRAZY LIKE THAT ANTIS HUH? It’s also not a thing a caring parent would do out of the blue, Billy had only a year before graduation. I believe Neil to love his son and care for his future, fight me. BUT. When you are a responsible parent with some skill for communication and actually understanding what you’re doing and that there’s an independent individual in front of you, not an abstract child like whatever that word even means apart from age, you don’t hit them, you don’t shout, you don’t impose. My point being that Neil is freaking out. He’s got two teens on his hands, you gotta be strict not to let them go crazy rebellious, right? He’s desperate to keep his son in line, denying everything he really is at the moment. What is he though? Well, a super lonely teen who wants his dad to be proud of him. I think he tries really hard to follow that “respect and responsibility” mantra: gives Max a lift no problem, tries to come to terms that they are family now, tries to protect her. Which brings me to the question of racism, and no, I don’t think he’s racist at all. I don’t think he cares, he’s got a lot going on already.What he cares about is agitated Max. Remember the way she left the arcade? All confused, angry, bewildered. Billy just was being protective the way his practically non-existent emotional intellect allowed him. Probably he knew there would be a shitstorm coming if Neil found out. I don’t think young girls are allowed bfs in his household. That’s the vibe I got there, fellas.

Why is Billy so lonely though? Just look at that guy, he’s got everything: the face, the ass, the style, the charm, the smile, the wit. He’s unapologetically confident and knows how to get what he wants, so being alone and not making any friends seems to be a choice of his own. Mainly because he’s super pissed about everything. I mean he really has no chill when it comes to emotions, they control him. Moreover, he doesn’t plan on staying longer than is absolutely necessary, so why try. As for a gf, he’s not that into girls, which could be for several reason (my hc is him being gay, no surprises here lol). I think he’s actually a virgin. We see him with a girl once, he didn’t seem nice or caring or at least a little bit amused, so probably that was out of sheer bore. Nothing to do other than date or keg-drink in a small town, huh, Billy boy? Third, and don’t hit me yet, he’s kind of a nerd himself. And here I have to say thanks to a very devoted lady who brought to my attention two details about Billy’s room one of them being a poster for the first Metallica album which only few ppl liked as much (nerds!), and another one being James Thurber’s autobiography Billy had on his table. How’s that for your typical basketball bully Cali boy reading? Nerd! So he’s a bit too picky about all this friends and connections thing. Also I’d like to point out that Max actually found her a whole party of friends, I think that could make Billy kinda jelous? Before that it felt they were in the same boat, sort of a team? In the first scene they appeared I honestly thought they were this cool bro-sis pair fully armed to take on Hawkins ready or not.

So. I feel for my boy. He’s just a lonely kid with daddy issues and zero anger control.

saw the last jedi toniiiiight

so spoilers and shit beloooow. sorry for typos and any weirdness it’s almost 1am and my fingers are frozen. no type gud

- i am proud to say i only teared up ONCE throughout the whole movie when carrie was on screen! i was afraid i’d be full on crying.

- also leia using the force to get her ass back into the ship was the BEST THING EVER! i wonder if she just learned bits and pieces of using the force to that extent over the years on her own or if luke gave her tips or what? I GOTS TO KNOW

- ew reylo please don’t happen. especially after that “you are nothing...except to me” deal from kylo that was super gross. also factually wrong DID YOU SEE THAT HUG BETWEEN FINN AND REY? she is nothign really?? bitCH YOU THOUGHT

- and honestly i’m getting even more hardcore sibling vibes from these two. even moar reason i ain’t hopping on that ship lmao. there is something there but it don’t feel like no romance to me.

- ....you are nothing EAT MY ENTIRE ASS, KYLO. disrespecting my girl rey like that. shit.

- hux getting trolled by poe was fantastic. a+ job my good sir i have an even bigger crush on you

- finn and rey hugging tho aahhhh my skin is clear my crops are flourishing

- “the force isn’t about lifting rocks”. rey has to lift rocks at the end lmao

- honestly even tho i ain’t into kylo and the reylo thang, i did cheer with everyone else during that fight scene. it was a bad ass scene and i was thirsty for at least 2 force users fighting together.

- but of course kylo bitched out and went all WE WILL RULE THE GALAXY TOGETHER making anakin roll his eyes in the afterlife somewhere. dishonor on you! dishonor on your cow!

- leia giving up on ben ever coming back to the light. fantastic. great decision. focus on your son that isn’t a disappointment. i know moms got that unconditional love bullshit thing going on, but when your grown ass child fucks up that much, you gotta cut the cord and let ‘em flail on their own. if ben wants a redemption he’s gonna have to drag his own ass out of that hole he has now firmly planted himself in.

- but srsly tho reylo fans need to chill out. there’s still another movie to go y’all need to pace yourselves lmao. that 3rd movie is another 2 hours of potential for kylo to make more of an ass of himself.

- in general just don’t go too hard on ships, especially with ongoing series. turns everyone into nasty litlte gremlins and it’s just not a good time

- ugggggh that big explosion when holdo fucking sliced through the first order’s ship aaahhhh. i was afraid you’d be some fuckin’ FO mole or some shit but you ended up a good one that we didn’t deserve, holdo.

seat neighbor taehyung.

doesn't understand the concept of personal space && the fact that he's so tall and basically a tree with its branches hanging all over the place doesn't help either

so when he falls asleep

which is like 80% of the time

you have to deal with a sleeping taehyung on your shoulder or sprawled over the whole desk

and like

at first you brushed him off resulting in him yelping as his head fell onto the desk and he looked so offended and insulted it was kind of cute

but now

you don't mind bc he is handsome and somehow its cute b UT AT THE SAME TIME HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO STUDY WTH ???

but you kind of cope with it since you got used to it somehow ???

the other 20% in class is spent with him asking you for basically anything bc he has never something on himself

"can i pleasseee get a pen ??"

"um...would you mind giving me a piece of paper?"

and so on

so you just

give in && obey to his every will because how can you say no to this cute face ???

but when the person behind you even dares to ask, you will just say no and they're mostly like ?? why ??? while tae is like :^) and ur just like ???

basically, it's weird sitting next to tae since you're always short on stuff && confused about your life choices but it's also kind of comfy

like he is never annoying or late to class && most of the time he shows up ( even if he just sleeps for the whole hour )

you don’t even question his weird behaviour since u got used to it

its also nice bc you always have some music next to you

the reason is tae will always listen to music when he’s sleeping and it’s not even loud

but

since he’s so close while napping, you’ll always get to listen what he listens to

tbh it’s such a weird mix

it fits him

like sometimes it will be slow ballads

then full on hip-hop

there is no in between and it’s just like him

like he is either doing something really passionately or sleeping

that’s how you know him at least

however one day while he is soundly sleeping next to you, his head casually on your shoulder while you’re concentrating on thESE GODDAMN EQUATIONS LIKE WHAT IS MATH ???

so you were sitting there trying to understand the lesson while absentmindedly tapping your shoe to the rhythm of the song that taehyung’s been listening to

and then you notice

that this type of music is so different from the rest ?? like it’s kind of jazzy but so soothing

and it’s just instrumental

but you like it even though you’ve never heard it before

so after class you awkwardly walk up to him bc u never rlly talked before after class but it’s cool right ??

so you just

and it’s so awkward at first like taehyung doesn’t even notice you talking to him bc he’s too tall he cant hear u

no but srsly

you grow kind of impatient and just lightly tap him

and taetae has a thing for being dramatic so he whips around looking shook af and you just ?? what is this living meme ??

you straight up ask him what is this jazz song that he’s been listening to bc you found it so unfitting for his usual choice of music

and with straight up asking i mean stumbling over your own words like a mess bc college made you a mess now you live the mess life

and tae is too pure he doesn’t even question you knowing his taste in music even though the both of you are barely on first name basis

and he just kind of radiates all of a sudden ??

and you’re like holy shit what did i do

then you’re suddenly dragged out of the room and you want to scream bc what is hAPPENING ???

but you stay quiet since you’re interested and he clearly wants to show you somerthing ?? you guess ??

so after 5 minutes of strolling over the campus with kim taehyung as your guide

you find yourself back in a place you’ve probably been like 3 times ??

the official music room of the college

and you’re kind of stunned while only looking at everything, not noticing that tae is holding a literal saxophone in his hands

as soon as you notice you kind of question him even further ??

but knowing taehyung he’s probably just playing around like he does with his other friends

n O YOU DON’T STALK HIM SHUSH

back to the scene where the both of you are in the music room

so he just grins his rectangular grin while looking so proud and suddenly he starts playing

and you swear

your breathing stops for a second

reason one is you never heard such passionate and jazzy sounds being played live before you and only for you

and reason two is you never expected taehyung to be the person to show you something like that

don’t understand this wrong tho like you knew he is more than he seems to be because he’s sleeping 80% of the time and still doesn’t fail ?? lIKE HOW BOI U A WIZARD ??

no but you never expected this

so you just sit down on the ground while looking at this goof who was literally napping on your shoulder minutes ago

and now he is here

playing like a professional and giving you a private concert

and when he stops you’re somehow sad bc it was so beautiful and you kind of didn’t want it to end

you’re still staring at him completely surprised and shocked with your mouth agape while he’s grinning and out of breath

but he looks

so content

you can’t help but stare

and it’s not only the art he produced seconds ago you are so stunned by no it’s taehyung himself bc he literally is art

WOAH YOU’RE GETTING CHEESY SNAP OUT OF IT

and you’re the one who gets out of the daze first by taehyung jumping into your face with his cheery expression while screaming

“AND??”

and you’re like

omg om omgomg g

why is he like that

SO YOU JUST TRY TO MATCH HIS CHEERY ATTITUDE AND THROW YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR LIKE

“YOU’RE PHENOMENAL!!”

since you’re not only talking about the music b uuuttt,,

anyways he just chuckles and yanks you up to stand again and suddenly he gets shy

“thank you...”

and you’re still like how ?????? why do u do this ???

you can’t help it he’s just so pure

that’s how you got introduced to saxophonist kim taehyung

and you bet your ass he is going to jump into your face after every lesson so you will accompany him to the music room

“(Y/N) !! I’VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS FOR SO LONG LEMME SHOW YOU !!”

“KIM TAEHYUNG WE HAVE A TEST TOMORROW!!”

“.....please ?”

“ok...”

aND YOU JUST CANT SAY NO OK

so you always get dragged to the music room after class ends and actually you don’t really mind because through this you get to know him better + you’re able to listen to this a+ fantastic music

you find out why he’s always so sleepy in class and it’s basically bc he always works on new music and mostly with his friends who have no classes in the morning

so he forgets to go to sleep

and you just kind of face palm but at the same time ?? it’s cute ?? it’s weird ??? it’s tae

also you get to know how much of a sucker for little kids he is when you have to take care of your nephew bc your sister is like sry gtg !!! and ur like im in college how should i take care of a child for a day ???

and it’s basically illegal but pshhh ur sister doesn’t care

so you come to the music room one day with this 4 year old boy who is so shy around you and you just ?? idk maybe tae will know what to do

and as soon as you enter the room with this kid tAE ALMOST COMBUSTS BC WHO IS THIS CUTIE RIGHT HERE ???

needless to say tae befriends the child so easily you’re like ?? wth ?? i’m his aunt

ur like :^( and tae is like :^) and the child is like :^))))))))

bc he literally starts to love taehyung and they’re playing around while you’re watching and ur kind of mad

but at the same time you’re happy

because iT’S SO CUTE

so when it’s time to say goodbye, tae’s heart breaks a little since he has to let go of this cute child even tho it’s only been like 2 hours he cAN’T

your sisters sees this and is like

“well if your boyfriend is so eager to take care of him, he shall visit his aunt more often!”

aND YOU JUST GO RED WHILE TAE GRINS FROM EAR TO EAR AND YOU JUST ASSUME THAT HE’S TOO OBLIVIOUS TO NOTICE THAT SHE BASICALLY CALLED YOU BOTH A COUPLE BC HE’S IN LOVE WITH THE KID

so as the both of them leave and you wave them goodbye you’re so nervous && embarrassed while your sister winks at you

you’re like ??? I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ??

and after that you don’t even talk about your sister calling taehyung your boyfriend because nobody brings it up so you just ?? shrug it off ?? even tho you’re somewhat sad ??

until one day tae doesn’t show up to class

and you assume he’s sick because he never skips classes

so then when a week passes without the two of you seeing each other

you get worried and start asking around on campus if somebody knows where he is

finALLY !!! someone helps you and it’s jungkook as you will later find out, tae’s roommate along with somebody named jimin b ut that’s later :)

so you get guided by jungkook to the boy’s dormitory and you feel so ouT OF PLACE ?? like everywhere are boys or girls who are in a relationship with a guy who’s living here

but anyways

you open the door and there is the tree you’ve been missing

sprawled on his bed with sheets and empty cups which were once filled with instant noodles covering his body

jungkook and you both sigh simultaneously bc honestly ?? he’s such a mess

“he’s been like this for the past week.”

u just look up to the other tall male and there are literal question marks in your eyes

jungkook just chuckled at you and shrugs

“you know musicians....they struggle. even when their muse is right in front of them.”

aND YOU’RE STILL LIKE ????

jungkook is like do we have a taehyung 2.0 or why is this girl not understanding what i’m saying

so he just grips your shoulder turns you to tae still being passed out and then back and kind of shakes you

“ HE LIKES YOU OK “

AND YOU’RE LIKE AAAAAAA

bc what is this rollercoaster of emotions ???

taehyung is getting up because the shouting of his roommate interrupted his peaceful slumber so he’s trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes while smacking his lips

and iT’S CUTE

he’s cute

and he’s like half asleep as he watches the both of you standing in the door frame

“who likes me ?”

AND KOOKIE IS AT THE VERGE OF EXPLOSION BC WHY DOES HE HAVE TO PLAY ARMOR

so he has enough and just pushes you on top of tae and leaves

pfft not his business

the scene was pretty hilarious, not for you tho

laying on top of each other in a sea of empty cup noodles and music sheets

and tae is stunned bc w HAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DOING HERE I DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE WHAT

and ur like chill dude

b ut the only thing you get out is ‘hey’

AND HE’S THE SAME

and for the next two minutes, you just sit beside each other in silence and embarrassment bc ?? omg what

B UT THEN you decide it’s time to spill the tea because you’RE LIKE U KNOW FUCK IT

and you speak so fast and are basically a tomato but he understands and just grins

however the peaceful silence is disturbed by tae teasing you

and he’s like :^( all of a sudden

so you pANIC AND KISS HIS FOREHEAD BC WHAT TO DO SUNSHINE IS UNHAPPY

taehyung starts giggling like a little school girl bc he’s honestly so happy

AND THE LITTLE KISS

he takes it as an invitation to pepper your face with kisses b c HE’S SO HIGH ON SKINSHIP

and also remeber that he doesn’t understand personal space ? well yeah he really doesn’t

so yOU’RE LIKE STAHP

but it’s in a playful manner so just laugh and it’s so lovely and cute

and you never had imagined that kim taehyung would ever like you

bc honestly he is handsome !!!111 LIKE REALLY

even teachers sometimes hit on him

and he’s always nice

so you’re like h OW COME I DESERVE YOU

after play fighting with tae tae you ask where he’s been

and he becomes this shy bean again and rUBS HIS NECK AND IS LIKE

you again turning red with the thought and h e nods

at first he looks at you in diseblief

then he’s thinking

so then you ask for the name of the song because everyone agrees that it should be put on soundcloud so everyone can listen to it

65 years is not enough for you... Papa! 🎉

To the best Superman ever who made us his kryptonite(s), today's the day you need to enjoy life to the fullest. 🎉 You already reached 65, I know you felt already the self-fulfillment in life seeing your children successful; having grandchild and proving that life is everything as perfect. 👌🏻

So, I made my "13 Reasons Why" life is even more perfect with the best dad, best(est) papshie and my #0 die-hard fan evahhh. 😂🖤

#1 You give something even if you don't have something.

I remember myself asking you a hundred peso bill because I badly need it for school. Then I'm shookt, you borrowed money just to made me passed the needed project and I'm very thankful of that. Now, I'm a teacher; have a stable job and can definitely give back more. ❤️

#2 You're there (when mostly needed) even if you're drunk. 😂🔥

That's a talent tho. Remember that's 8pm. Got home from Tuguegarao City for a contest and you had 15-minute drive just to make sure I'll be home. Matik Papa, you're drunk that time and I even scolded you. But you told me, "Ammok nga adda man certificates ken medals mun! Naginumakun ta ammuk adda isangpet mo!" How does that sounds bes? 💁🏼

#3 You're repeating everything and everything. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙅🏼

This is the reason why I'm always pissed off when I'm home from school, work or awrahan. You're giving a lot of pieces of advises and tell-tale-ing stories in English, making yourself pain in my ass. That's non-stop 'til you dropped. And that's okay. I'm used to it. I mean, we're used to it. 🤦🏼‍♀️

annual writing evaluation

thanks for tagging me @aloequeerafic i love u and ur fics (srsly my fave writer -- everyone plz go read her fics if u already haven’t! below are my answers to this writing evaluation.

Work you are most proud of (and why):

deff yail just because it was such a personal story and i loved the way i was able to play it out. while aspects of it were true to my life, there were a lot of things i had to leave out but i still put it together as a whole fic and i think it worked! i was happy with my writing in it, i am in love with all the characters, and i just really enjoyed the POSITIVE reactions it got. im happy i was true to the story and did it the way i wanted to.

Work you are least proud of (and why):

umm in terms of THIS YEAR, maybe lpl since i have been so shit on updating it. my inspiration is just lacking and time is running out on me in lightening speed. but idk it’s hard to say bc sometimes even though i think the piece is okay i still put it out and then later cringe at what i wrote. i think everyone does that tho

A favorite excerpt from your writing:

this is hard but two things that come to mind right away are from yail. one is chapter 22: the one where harry finds out. that chapter...was a hard one to write. so much had to be said and i needed to make sure i expressed the emotions properly without making it seem TOO over the top. in scenes like those it’s tricky. another that comes to mind is chapter 25: the one where the school year comes to an end. this is a breakup scene and usually breakup scenes are full of emotion but are often rushed or just...cringey. but i was very happy with this one. i took...stuff from how i felt during a breakup and i think that made it real. anyway here’s an excerpt:

“I’ll do anything to make it work, though,” Louis said, practically begging. “You don’t know -- you don’t --.” He could barely speak through his tears because it felt like his throat was sealing up and Harry looked absolutely devastated. Louis’d never thought that after everything they’d been through that it could ever come down to this -- the two of them sobbing on Harry’s bed while he told Louis that even though he loved Louis and Louis loved him, it still wasn’t enough. “You don’t know how much you mean to me, Harry,” Louis was finally able to say. “You’re the best -- best everything. You’re everything.”

“And you’re mine,” Harry said like it was a promise, barely able to speak himself.

Share or describe a favorite comment you received:

i don’t wanna copy and paste anything bc a lot of comments have spoilers, but all the lovely comments on yail are just so special to me. there are some who left long ones telling me how affected they were by the fic and that means everything. yail did get a ton of backlash in the beginning but i don’t even think of that anymore. the positive outweighs the negatives.

A time when writing was really, really hard:

working on lpl was so difficult tbh. like every part i end, i take a 6 month long break before i pick that fic up again and idk why that is. like time is deff an issue but this is just ridic. i’m so frustrated at myself. i need the inspo for this fic to jUST STAY

A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:

i think that louis in yail was so important. i loved writing him how i wrote him. he was so personal to me and i think alot of ppl related to him in that fic. idk if he surprised me, but he’s the one that stands out the most.

How did you grow as a writer this year?:

i think i’ve become alot more organized in terms of outlining, which makes it easier to write. i also think the more you write, the better you get, so i’ve gotten better over time!

How do you hope to grow next year?:

not sure...maybe finish more fics and write mroe frequently if possible??

Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

@realitybetterthanfiction had my back all throughout yail which was so nice of her. she was supportive, extremely detailed, and understanding. couldn’t have asked for a better beta! same goes for my other betas @stephloveslarry and elizabeth (who i can’t seem to tag????)

Anything from your own life show up in your writing this year:

as i said before, yail deff did. but everything i write has little bit of me or my friends or my life in it.

Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

ummm

1) don’t start a fic with the characters waking up

2) don’t dump information and their life stories within the first few scenes

3) outline is so important

4) get a beta always

5) smut is cool but if it’s repetitive don’t write it

6) every story needs a conflict that needs to be overcome otherwise the characters don’t develop or grow

IS IT WEIRD THAT I KINDA CRY AT REDEMPTION ARCS FOR VILLAINS OF GAMES I’VE NEVER EVEN PLAYED?

I really like Kirby as a character but I Really Dislike Platformers, so I’ve never actually played a single Kirby game. I think he’s just a very good character for people like me, lol! he’s so super simple and his games have such a sparse plot with most of the appeal simply being Look At These Heartwarming Things. (With occasional Look At This One Scary Boss Being Stabbed Into Fifty Pieces To Affirm That The Heartwarming Things Are Badass) And like.. a lot of his games are even completely dialogueless aside from a narrator summing up the backstory at the beginning. Lol, most of the villains seem so evil and otherworldly just because ‘holy shit did that guy just say three whole sentences’ XD So yeah, I feel like its easy for me to be a casual distant observer fan compared to other games.

SO ANYWAY WHERE WAS I My point is that today I was doing the ‘ol super late lurker fan stuff for another Kirby game I never played when it first came out. And like... I SUDDENLY LOVE MAGOLOR??? Dude I only just met three seconds ago: you are instantly the most interesting villain in the Kirby universe Like seriously, he’s like.. what...aaa?? When has there ever else been a villain that actually got a redemption arc??

In retrospect Kirby is kinda extremely pessimistic about its villains. They’re almost always Absolute Evil, unless theyre actually a good guy being mind controlled by an Absolute Evil. And they always turn into absolute nightmare monsters and get very definitively killed after their boss fight. There’s a reason they’re always seen as memorably dark!

Tho still I do feel a bit sad that no-one’s been QUITE as dark as that one called Zero, i think? the one where its a giant eyeball with an eyeball and then the second eyeball pops out and attacks you when its killed, and there’s a lot of like... ‘is that actual blood or just some red energy beam?’ Cos seriously man seriously that was messed up. I LOVED IT Oh and the other memorably Real Good one was Marx, I still fuckin love how that was the only time these plots got deep enough to have an Actual Plot Twist, and it was surprisingly REALLY FUCKIN GOOD! YOU BETRAYED ME. you took advantage of my kirby goodness. seriously, I dunno if I’m just dumb and everyone else figured it out but HOO BOY I felt them real betrayals when the ‘cute helper creature’ turned into a fucking somehow more nightmare than bleeding eyeball man boss. Seriously??? why is Marx Soul more scary to me. Its like the uncanny valley principle but without any humans involved. Unkirby valley. Even regular marx was always a bit creepy cos of that, its kind of a subtle way to hint at the ultimate reveal lol! it was just oddly weird to see a creature that looks like kirby drawn in a more detailed art style. His face is just... what. Why the big ol eyes. This is not how kirby do. Why are you wearing one of his powerup costumes recoloured. Why is nobody aknowledging the weird resembelance. Why are you suddenly having complete facial melting horror and growing arms where there were no arms and somehow using them as wings and WAIT WHY DIDNT YOU HAVE ARMS IN THE FIRST PLACE also WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH THOSE OFFMODEL KIRBY ENEMIES IN DREAMLAND 3! i think that was the one?? i only knew they existed cos of a random screenshot! apparantly they’re kinda uncommon to find or something, or maybe i just wasnt paying attention when i watched that lets play.
