and then one night they’re lying in bed together, and james turns over and says “let’s get married in the morning” and regulus, without missing a beat, says “okay.”

they get dressed up and head to the courthouse, recite their vows in a private room and sign the necessary papers, and then they go home. they cook and drink wine and have their first dance in their kitchen, illuminated by the golden glow of the setting sun, and it’s all perfect.

it’s all they need, and they don’t have to wait any longer for their forever.

Does anyone else ever go through that thing where you just can’t remember the title of something for the life of you? I read this fic about percy wealsey and oliver wood and I love it. I cried the first time I read it. It is beautiful and amazing, but it’s been deleted (I can’t find it on ao3). I have searched through my history and everything. I’m almost positive it was by alrightginger who I know has deleted all of her fics and has also written percy/oliver content before. Percy and Oliver had a relationship in Hogwarts and reconnected after the war. It’s from Percy’s perspective and he gets invited to Ron’s wedding to Hermione and takes Oliver as his plus one because apparently you can’t go to weddings alone. They end of hooking up after the wedding and continue to do so until a quidditch gala where they fight over if they are dating or not. Percy has all this guilt over Fred and feels like he doesn’t deserve anything. There’s a bunch of internal dialogue about what he can take from Oliver. Percy goes and talks to George and it’s very emotional and beautiful and I did cry. I don’t need to read the fic again because I do have the plot memorized and multiple lines memorized as well. okay folks, it’s Katie Rose Clarke appreciation time.

she is an absolute icon. i’m telling you, she was born to play Glinda. she is one of few actors i’ve seen who highlight the stark difference in Glinda’s life in Act One and Two so well. i mean the difference between her Popular and Thank Goodness is CRAZY.

not only that, but she’s played alongside SO MANY elphaba’s, yet brings something different and refreshing to the role every time she’s alongside someone new. and that’s not easy, considering that she’s literally the longest running Glinda (on Broadway? in total? not completely sure but she’s played this role a lot).

she’s utterly hilarious but she’s also completely heartbreaking, soul twisting, gut wrenching, whatever other words you wanna use i ran out. the emotions are so raw, you can tell she loves this role and she loves her job. if you haven’t seen her perform anything (not even just wicked. her light in the piazza performance is astounding.) RUN your little legs over to youtube and search her name because she’s SO GOOD.

anyway long story short i love KRC and you should too.
