okay. i hate to do this because it's embarrassing and awful, but i have turned over all my options and this is quite literally my last resort.
last week, my darling penny got so sick it required a couple of visits to the vet for fluids and antibiotics. she is recovering now at home, thankfully, but it's left me with a boatload of vet bills i cannot afford without also missing my rent payment.
i was laid off in february, which is a whole issue on its own, and job prospects in my field are low and the market oversaturated. i have no steady income and no way to choose one or the other without going further into debt, because either way i won't be able to afford something. i'm already choosing between bills and groceries half the time.
i want to reiterate i hate doing this and you don't have to give me anything, but if you're feeling it/financially able to, buying me a coffee would be extremely helpful. anything to at least pay down some of the outstanding bills would be helpful, honestly. and if you can't, just signal boosting could be a big help, too.
i also want to reiterate i wouldn't have done this differently. if it comes down to it, i'd rather lose my apartment than my cat. it is what it is. but any help is appreciated.

after the couch theory and the debacle that was the final episodes of S6 you can forgive me for being skeptical that this show is actually going to give the fans what they want with buck and eddie. I truly hope you're right but I'm still skeptical.
tbh i don't think it's super fair to hold the end of s6 too too much against the writers considering they were trying to navigate the very real possibility of being cancelled and had to walk the careful line of ending things in a way that could've concluded the characters' storylines if they were cancelled while still leaving things on a note that could be further explored and/or undone in the next season if they were continued. with all of that and whatever challenges fox may have presented in terms of buck and eddie getting together, idk. but we don't have to agree on that
however you wanna protect your peace, i truly do not care. it's just when people can't let anyone enjoy anything that it all gets a little annoying

Never thought I'd see the day where supposed buddie shippers are rooting for a love interest of Buck's to stay like do you not get that if Tommy stays that means Buddie's chances sink astronomically but clearly you don't give a single fuck lets just flush down 6 years of storytelling for a character whose been here for 3 freaking episodes.
Can't wait till the end of episode 6 so Tommy be gone and you people can realize that you shouldn't get attached to plot devices.
yeah maybe because i don't get how tommy sticking around a little longer astronomically sinks the chances of the writers carrying through with a relationship that, like you said, has been six years in the making. it's almost like i have faith in the writers that have developed that relationship over the past six years to know what's best for the story and don't feel the need to catastrophize and lose my absolute shit over a cute fling in the meantime. hope that helps
