I don’t have many friends, but I’m blessed by the ones I do have because I can say, “Guess who just bought a 𝒷𝓁𝑜𝓌𝑔𝓊𝓃!!!” and they just respond with, “Oh, I’m so glad, you really needed the enrichment. I know how much you miss your bow. It’s so nice to see the old you back again.”

And, you know, maybe that should be concerning for several dozens of reasons. Really, though, I’m just absolutely touched that the few people I’ve let see my heart know absolutely that I am meant to be surrounded by unusual weapons and there is nothing bad about that.

#to be fair when we met i was uh i was different #as in you know the comedy trope where a character is shaken down and produces an appalling number of weapons?#i was real life that #when i was 12 my mom had to do pat downs before i could go into the dentist #i only pulled a knife on one orthodontist and that was a joke!#she pulled a gun on me first #but that was well before they met me #when they met me i was a little over 5 ft and a little under 100 lbs #i was best described as adorable #i arrived to our little lunch on a unicycle #and for reasons lost to time i decided to show off my weapons #throwing stars on my ankle #throwing spikes in the brim of my hat #knife in my necklace #knife in my boot #more than one knife in my pockets #a wire garotte #several more knives #a razor blade in my wallet for some reason #i was so small and so proud #and they fell in love instantly and kept me until even now #i think i had my first blowgun when i was about eight?#loved that thing #i've never really not had throwing weapons of some kind #i learned how to make a rabbit stick when i was real little and most people don't do that apparently #anyway i can kill small game with a weighted stick so i do have that going for me #and when i was little my granddad made me slings #so i very much used to be hell on wheels with a sling #it would take me months to be as good with a sling as i was as a feral forest infant

I see a lot of posts about Danny seeing Jason and immediately thinking he’s a baby ghost and wanting to adopt him but what if it’s the other way around?

What if Jason sees Danny and is hit with oh my god that’s a baby, who left a baby unattended out on the street?? He needs help, gotta protect him, mine, yeah he’s mine now, I got u lil guy don’t worry

Meanwhile 15 yr old Danny is like um hi?? And promptly gets kidnapped. But he just lets it happen because he’s actually feeling the safest he’s ever felt in his life with this guy, and Danny’s core immediately recognizes Jason as parental figure and just relaxes Danny 100%

Jasons feeling like Danny is a helpless baby while Danny feels safe, protect, calm, safe, relax, and he just lets Jason take him home. Neither are really sure why or what is going on with them but they’re not gonna stop it.

I think it’s because Danny’s own parents kinda suck and any other ghost that he’s interacted with he’s had to fight in some capacity or has been spooked by them. Jason’s the only one who 1) wanted to parent him and 2) has good vibes. Danny’s usually waiting for fights to happen and he’s very stressed. Jason calms him down so much he probably falls asleep before they even get to Jason’s apartment, full trust that Jason will take care of him.

Meanwhile Jason never really connects with his pit side, but really wants to find some way to have a truce. Cue Danny, and both Jason and the Pit turn to protectiveness and so the rage becomes more protection and Jason yk, might be kinda lonely and wanting something to take care of. He was probably thinking about getting a cat and not a kid but he’s not complaining

And nothing is going to stop him from seeing this task through! He’s not going to get distracted playing with the Justice League’s Baby Team, nor is he going to try and kick Stupid-Helmet-Head-The-Despised.

He’s going to help Jordan and Ellie find their own familiars, and Phantom-Dad will be so proud of him! Tucker-Dad will be proud too, and his Moms would as well! He’s going to absolutely rock this older-sibling thing!

in my head after the events of camlann merlin returns to camelot and, still riddled with terrible guilt and grief, confesses to leon about everything that had happened and everything he had done, magic and all. and instead of outrage or betrayal or scorn or judgement (or even death, as he had briefly considered) leon shatters him with a deeply apologetic expression and a whispered “my friend… you must have been so afraid, and so tired.” and merlin collapses into heaving sobs against him and doesn’t get back up for a long time.

Subspace doodles (PHIGHTING! Mermaid au)

so I was thinking more about the PHIGHTING mermaid au I’m doing and. What if subspaces’ gas- instead of being like actual gas, was polluted oil? I think that could make for a really cool trope if I ever were to redesign him for it :3!

For the design notes in specific:

When out of control, his “gas” takes the form of polluted oil, in control (as in wearing his mask and tank) it gets filtered into something akin to toxic brine (in which long exposure to can cause a lot of issues, specifically different types of shock, breathing issues, etc). Although the brine isn’t too dangerous to be around in small amounts, it can be harmful over time.

for those wondering what ACTUAL brine water (or more specifically brine pools) are, it’s pretty much a large accumulation of highly concentrated saltwater (which usually is around 10 times saltier then the ocean surrounding it) For most sea animals this brine means instant death due to the fact that is has no oxygen in it as well as the high saline levels.

(Im hyper fixating again can you tell)
