I just got off work and I am debating on drawing or going to sleep.

#rambling into the void #i have so muchs tuff i need to finsih drawing #i very eepy tho #ugh #alao very testy #thinking about hwo i called my dad after getting pulled over #and he said to me “how could you not have your registration ready? you know the difference between the papers dont you?”#like dad you neve rtaught me half this shit #i dont know anything about life and am bearly scrapping by #im grateful ym dad helsp with ym insurance but he never explains anything to me #never taught me what to do when pulled over #my dad expects me to know things that i have never really learned #it makes me feel like a child. he makes me feel like a child.#i feel pretty useless atm #am really scraed for court #the officer that puleld me over wrote my ticket for speeding #and for failure to show insurance and registration #when i had them but it took me a bit to find them cause ive never been pulled over before #and he wrote the ticket before i found them #and when i showed it to him #he told me to just ecplain in court #uhg #i fucking terrified

⚔️ How ‘bout a li'l training montage? 🏹

So I keep thinking about how Shadow Kirby is confirmed in canon to be just as powerful and capable as regular Kirby, so long as he can push past his own reluctance and fears. Then I started thinking about the unique color palette he has for the Fighters games, if that could be a sort of visual indicator of him reaching that full potential. Then I started thinking about who was around to teach him these skills, and the differences in their techniques, and how SD’s treatment of SK might be vastly different from DMK, and how that affects the relationship that DMK & SD might have, and how it all ties in to the sociopolitical climate of the Mirror World as a whole, and oh stars dammit am I making another AU again???

On an unrelated note, screw the Mirror World for giving everyone in it just the most annoying color palettes to shade. Grays on grays on grays and sometimes red but mostly grays. I am languishing in render hell and ready to move on to the next one thank you. Too many headcanons - not enough time or hands or energy.

UPDATE 03/01/24: Changed SK's eyes to purple instead of blue, and changed DMK's cape from gray to dark red.

I had a Wally dream! Well I actually do dream about drawing him a lot. But this time he was real! Like I was drawing him into existence, mid-air.

Actually manifesting him irl lmao.

He was so so patient too!

Oh but have another dream sketch, this one is a bit older bc I was thinking of finishing it but ahh well

Wally was sitting so peacefully on a river bank. But then these eyes faded into existence! They did not belong to the scene. They looked slightly digital and glowy. They made the scene distort like an old messed up VHS. Then they disappeared.

I recall one other dream. But I did not doodle for it. But I did write it in my dream journal!!
