never again would i like to work on Halloween
#the bin#halloween is for spending alone or for getting absolutely wrecked and being qround a bunch of people#NOT for spending at work doing work being at work stamding at work walking around all day at work doing work at work#but hey. at least it was a very slow tuesday bc everyone was busy with halloween. so ill only have 1 tuesday left#looking forward to starting my new job. i actually kinda really enjoy customer service. i love interacting with people for short time#ofc people can be mean and bad but i can deal with that just fine. i get so much out of short nice interactions and those are discouraged#where i work now. i try to be nice and have friendly interactions as much as i can because its nice but overall my experience is just around#people but not interacting with them otehr than to ask them to please move. when i do interact with people im so nice and helpful and i like#doing it but its kinda bleh. idk. i know im prob gonna hate this job a lot of the time too but id like something different.#and honestly i think itll be good for me. my social anxiety and ability to interact with people is so much better than it was before#and like. it happened so shortly after starting this job. i had to do things so i did and now i know its ok. i have a better understanding#of how people behave and react to how i am and all that stuff. and i think itd be nice to be in an environment where i can be kinda jokey#im a silly person but i think ive cracked maybe 2 jokes total while working at this place for almost 6 months#i make like 12 jokes a day at least when i interact with other people. when i talk or tjink about stuff i just make jokes constantly#but i.dont feel like i can do that at this job. the people are nice but its just a different environment and my type of humor and#personality doesnt mesh well if im joking. i work well there but its kinda bleh for me#but my managers were very nice about my giving my 2 weeks so. and perfect timing because tomorrow im training someone#new to start the same job as me to help out. woulve been doing it anyway and theyd be tehre to fill in when im out suck but instead i#think theyll just replace me so it works out. and i like teaching peope how to do my job :>#me rambling abt my life. nobody cares to read this lol. its not matter. these posts are boring but it feels nice to post stuff like it#makes me feel less isolated even of nobody sees it. different from thping it into a private notes app#idk. i need to talk to people more

instead of the stupid ass donnie centric intro in canon, BEFORE the turtles see her, we see her talking to her dad abt either his work or talking to him abt space or school or SOMETHING so we get her character before we see how the turtles (cough. donnie) view her cause what is that canon intro
i keep the love triangle HOWEVER. instead of the writers never giving her an actual response to it! she is uninterested in both of them and just doesn’t know how to tell either of them without hurting their feelings. eventually in like the farmhouse arc she does and it ends there. i tjink the bigfoot thing happens but when donnie talks to her she’s like oh it’s not bc you’re a mutant it’s cause i just see you as a friend and you lowk were being really weird abt it. can we be friends still girly and they are! i think casey notices donnie not pursuing her and asks one of them abt it and smth similar happens so they’re all FRIENDS. AS IT SHOULD BE!!
she is also a lesbian cause i’m a lesbian lolz but i think she doesn’t figure it out until later in the series
i think she and karai can be haters to eachother for awhile but eventually they should get to be friends. they meet up and beat the shit out of eachother (train together). shout out to girls who were intended for a greater purpose they had no say in with parental issues

Let me explain just.. Everything I can right now, I'm sorry for all this. I'm just. . Struggling...
Tw: Uhh.. Sad?
So my mom's brother, Fernando, is really struggling. He's been an alcoholic for so many years and he is a full on drunk, almost every time I see him, he's drunk or getting drunk. Its gotten so much worse to where he has gone through 3 families. 3 of his wives with children, have left him because of his constant alcoholism. So he just got kicked out of his home, he has no house, no money, no job, no family of his own, nothing. He's drunken, he's confused...He is basically forgetting everything. He's forgetting that he doesn't have a wife, or a house, and that's lead to terrible things! He is so confused, its like dementia..And because of just not being sober, he's sexually harassed random women because he thought they were his wife. He might of permanently damaged his brain, and he can't do anything. . Its just so bad i can't ever explain all of it. And I'm just having to deal with him, just a bit.. And I'm back home now from taking him to a hospital- but he doesn't have insurance and he just hasn't been able to get help I just don't know what to do.
And of course theres me, I'm a mess. A suicidal self-loathing mess. I can't focus I can't learn I get sick so much so easily...I just can't understand some things and I constantly feel so much physical pains, its been 9 years with all of this, and I'm so bottled up this feels like the only place besides therapy where I can just...talk. get things out, and say just how.. How much I need help. I am not fine, and its sad. Theres so much in my head, ao much happening, and I can't sleep at night because of how much i think of just... everything. I can't tjink of good anymore, I feel so trapped and helpless and just so hopeless. I've- I've just been hurt. Hurt so much. I can't even imagine how much Is wrong...And I'm just.. I'm in a dangerous place. Suicidal people, its so easy to hurt them so much that they'd go home and actually kill themselves. I'm...Well I've never really made a plan to kill myself, but if someone told me to just Kill myself...Theres.. a dangerous possibility that I might. Its so hard, and I'm.. in so much pain. I just wish I was better, and I am going to be. I'm sure I'll be fine in the end, I'll be happy, healthy, and I'll love myself for who I am. Not for who I wish I was. Just me..

As we all know right now, käärijä absolutely slayed this year so i would like to introduce some of my favourite finnish esc entries. Btw i won't mention lordi or blind channel here because i think those two are obvious and more known (i do love them, they are my favourites but i want to give attention to some other songs lol)
Anneli Saaristo - La dolce vita 1989. The song has some latin music vibes (as you can probably guess by the name) and is one of my ultimate favourites. Also the song is in finnish and was placed 7th which is actually pretty good for a finnish song.
Cat Cat - bye bye baby 1994. Like previous two, despite the english name, it is in finnish! This song actually didn't place that good (i think it was 22nd) but the song is still very iconic.
Vicky Rosti - Sata salamaa 1987. This is maybe one of the most iconic and known songs in finland, and of course, it's in finnish too! The song's placement was okay i guess (15th i think) but in my opinion deserved more.
Katri Helena - Katson sineen taivaan 1979. Katri is one of the most iconic finnish artists and her song is one of the most beloved songs in finland. Her placement was 14th
Hanna Pakarinen - Leave me alone 2007. Tho the song is in english it is one of my favourites but i tjink her placement was 17th

Erika Vikman - cicciolina 2020. This song actually won the public vote but because our dear jury, it was not sent to esc. But the contest was cancelled anyway so whatever.
Bess - Ram pam pam 2021. The song is actually one of my favourites but as you know rasmus was chosen, and i don't really mind since ukraine was obvious winner (i don't have any problems with that either) but it would have been cool too. +it's in finnish

Not because they dont like the disorder, but because they dont like how you wrote it.
You cant write abount ptsd either. Alot of people tjink that if iy doesnt fit in to how they experience someyhing or how theybthink real people experience it then you are wrong and are fetishizing people with the disorder or dont respect those people at all.
It sucks especially becuase personally i love the concept of DID or endogeneic systems. The concept of having multiple people in your head for a variety of reasons and purposes.
Id loce to write it, but i dont write angst so i know that it doesnt matter how much research i put into it people would still rip me to shreds over it not being realistic or how i have no right to write about anytjing similar to it because i dont have them
Tldr its because fandom sucks and are realky defensive for no reason so no one wants to do anything out of whats considered "normal"

I actually love that the lovestory between ji woo and seo joon is developing now, rather than having them get together in the last few seconds of the finale lol. The confession scene was amazing on seo joon’s side and ji woo reacting the way he did was heartbreaking but it made sense for his character and development. I loved it!!!!! 🥺
I just answered an ask about atots but yes, I also liked the first episode. It has a calm vibe to it so I think it’s a good break from all the crack we’re getting from other shows lol. Also OMG the Bad Buddy thing had me SCREAMING LMAO 😂 They better release that next because I’m extremely hyped for it omg. make it happen 🥺
I’m a bit skeptical about where MOD is going at the moment... I don’t watch crime shows so I wouldn’t know how these plots are usually constructed but it seems like it’s getting a bit lost in itself? idk how to explain it. there’s too many turns. but maybe im just dumb. I also wanna see more cute moments between them but also the scenes we got in the last ep were pretty adorable 🙈 I also would like to see Bun as an examiner again cuz I think he’s amazing at that.

As someone who is under the ace umbrella, do you ever feel like you’re /nothing/ and just forcing yourself to fall into a romantic identity, like biromantic, simply because you can’t figure it out? Like you’re pretty sure you’re not aro, because you’ve had crushes before, but you can’t tell if you’re straight because it’s been so long since you’ve had a “crush” on someone. And sometimes you feel like you don’t belong anywhere, like you can’t claim to be LGBT because you just don’t KNOW and ugh
Ooh i feel you bud. Somedays i drive myself to insanity thinking that 'but what if I'm not ace what im lying to myself what if im just forcing myself into this label just becAuse what jf that thing i felt which i KNOW is platonic attraction was actually romantic attraction what if all this is an elaborate lie i made up....' and the list goes on but the point is:
"Straight people probably don't spend this much time convincing they're straight."
(it's a quote from RWRB and i love how helpful and eye opening it is to us baby gays).
The thing is—being asexual and/or aromantic is like relatively new. And i think i get why it is seems so new. Not feeling attraction towards other people it's—it's incomprehendible for most people. Especially since only very few people are not alloromantic and/or allosexual. Hell even other non straight people feel attraction. So it used to be brushed off and because we ourselves are a small community that has only bloomed so well recently. and that too because we bonded together and grew together and helped one another and explained stuff to other people that made them understand that This Is Us and it's not going to be brushed off anymore.
Tbh that's why, yes being Asexual is known, but not enough. So yes, it is confusing. And it is lonely at times. There's not enough education, not many people, not much representation. Aspec identities are confusing.
Especially since there are a ton of combinations of labels! (ik some find labels annoying but i personally think they help)
See it's okay to have identities that change overtime. It's okay to change it's okay to adapt and change labels overtime it's okay to change.
So if you feel like maybe you don't like 'this' specific label then just,,, shed it. Move on. Use umbrella terms (yk what they sre right? Big terms under which a lot can come). Use them for as long as you want and then maybe if you find a label you like then pick that one up.
Changing and moving on is okay and normal. You won't be 'betraying' or 'lying' to anyone. If you dont like a label then that's okay. You'll find one. Or you won't. And that's okay too. Feelings are weird. And our worlds aren't exactly made to help us aspec people understand ourselves yk? So even if you wake up and think "hey i am apsec. And I'm wonderful and i fucking love myself" that's a big thing too.
Last thing:
ASEXUAL AND AROMANTIC PEOPLE ARE LGBT BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE '+' AND THE 'A' STAND FOR
Remember that. We're made to think that other lgbt+ ppl dont tjink of us as lgbt+ but honestly that's just wishful thinking of the hets who think they can drive wedges between and divide us.
Fuck them.

Issues with the last jedi
this was written after i saw the midnight premiere
all spoilers below
Too klyo focused should have spent his screen time on finn and rose
Finn and rose and poes subplot didnt amount to anything. Dont think it made a difference. Why? Could have met up with rey, or done (more) awesome stuff
No politics. Love me some politics. Were was the tension between republic and rebellion? Other than poes outbursts which were iffy. Not sure how in character they were also if purple hair had just told him the full plan it wouldnt have mattered.
Yoda was a traditionalist. He would not have burnt the stuff down. He was the EPITOME OF THE JEDI HYPOCRISY
Expand on the faults of the jedi and what you need to do differently this time.

Too many parallels between rey and kylo. Might have been redeemed by saying they were siblings.
As much as i did like rey child of no one important it was a bit of a let down.

maybe projection of virtual reality vs reality as a major motif. simulations and distance... long distance relationships during a war in space action too... have to think about an enemy but maybe we rag on capitalism a littlle
maybe some conglomerate is fighting a proxy war using aliens vs the govt the protags are in the military for

anyway i want 2 loyal dog dynamics to juxtapose w eachother + platonic soulmate type protag duo, best friends , one girl one boy, theyre both equally important, some SHIT happens and theyre forced on different sides at some point one loyal dog is treated well, like an equal, will follow x to the end of the world
the other is Not treated well.
i want to explicitly make that relationship abusive so i can point at it in the text itself and have other loyal dog be like , that's not love. abandoned loyal dog gets adopted by main duo, ends up in a relationship w one of them (whichever one makes it gay), im ship girl with side character who inspires tf out of her, sort of like. theyre competitive and the side character is light years more skilled but girl wants the challenge, wants the chase, is fueled by the prospect of catching up so "wait for me"
LAYS DOWN NONE OF THESE CHARACTERS HAVE NAMES OR DESIGNS OR ANYTHING BUT IM ALREADY ATTACHED TO THESE CONNECTIONS mc pair: one techy soft boy nerd who just wants to protect his family so thats why he agreed to help develop/operate tech bc he thinks this is how he can help
headstrong pilot ace girl who has no one but wants to prove herself and make a name for herself so she'll be remembered she wants to win glory for herself and comes off as super confident but actually she's just. asuka evangelion
except she doesnt crash and burn so bad bc she has the boy who sees thru it, you dont have to try so hard
probably happens after a fight where she's reckless hes not one to get mad but this time he's pissed bc she was exceptionally close to dying, yells at her, why do you keep trying so hard to die
kinda snaps her back to reality
he wants her to rely on him more bc that's what hes here for
anyway loyal dog defects from enemy + meets this pair after other loyal dog suggests he joins the crew, tech boy is kind to Everyone but loyal dog FORMERLY AN ASSASSIN ???????? TYPE?? SNIPER?? develops baby crush

ace pilot is the one to barge in headstrong and fuck everything up and get her out of there girl believes prodigy is amazing. really. incredible. a part of her feels like she'll never catch up . but even so watching prodigy walk into the unknown unflinchingly resolute ...
it's both sad in a way bc she's being left behind but also she wouldnt have it any other way bc she thinks forward is the only way prodigy should be facing. its what inspires her. that strength ...

anyway plotwise once both the govt and the enemy r revealed to be equally bad the main cast defect to a revolutionary group. they will Not win within the span of the novel but theyll have a small victory, very les mis one day more flavored, and even if they did not win they stood for something they believed in, did something to try and tell the truth...
also i need more of a cast so i can kill characters off nice now all i have to do is fill all this in with world building and action and stuff and ill have a novel so many sci fi things have done the 2 pilot mind sync emotional thing right so if i do the same thing no one knows if i took it from one franchise or another

I'm thinking about unnamed pilot lesbians and i am. enamored immediately holy shit god they're both so goal oriented and focused but once the fighting is finally over they finally allow themselves to embrace the intensity of their emotions for eachother and i am fucking perishing they were essentially raised as child soldiers so it's this clumsy process of trying to figure things out for the first time, this kind of innocent but intense and blooming love between two hardened soldiers, the years of war coming away when they're together for the first time actually fuck i did name them but i'm still not sure about ace pilot girl? i want to name her lane or something monosyllable, maybe i'll revamp raine and make her this oc instead... either way i'm just. ugh. I"M GETTING REALLY FUCKED UP ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF THE PRODIGY (ASTRID) DYING IN THE LINE OF DUTY or well at least goes missing, presumed dead but raine just... doesn't believe it. astrid can't die. she's too amazing. there's no way
fucking. huge disbelief. she refuses? raine going on a near suicidal self-appointed mission against commander's orders to rescue her, khemrin tries to hold her back but he can't, she' fucking gone speeding off on one of the fastest scouting ships she can hijack raine finding her alive but barely conscious in a damaged cockpit floating in space for who knows how long, raine unable to open the hatch and get to her but anchors her ship to hers, NOT EFFECTIVE BUT HER ONLY REAL CHOICE w/o compromising the air seal. makes the journey back astrid barely makes it to the space equivalent of a truck stop (unaffiliated) and raine calls for backup in panic and tries her best to tend to astrid's wounds an feed her and she's fucking PANICKING but trying so hard to keep it together astrid wakes up and raine's crying
