sigh. the demons got me. luckily i dont have enough time to draw so heres this.
bdubs is a rainwing i know so original. his tragic backstory is hes cool and chillin in the jungle. I'm sure he sells terrariums or grows fruit or makes paintings. Despite the lack of color I can assure you he flashes red a lot, and any other colors layer like dappled light.
I made the wings similar to a bats, and similar to nightwings in that aspect. The coloring is really nebulous of course, but I want to emphasize the dappling and darker sections next time. Time constraints and all that.

I don’t have writers block, I have totk is overtaking my life and I’m losing sleep over it and yet I literally think about every single one of my wips at all times but cannot write for the life of me bc totk exists even though my fingers crave writing and my chest craves the way it feels when I write Joel and Ellie and my throat craves the constricting breathing and sobs that overcome me when I get too caught up in writing and think about them too hard.
but my fingers also crave my joy cons and the way they still try and wind bomb around the map.

Rereading LB6 on YouTube and came to the bit where Woodwose attacking Morgan and it got me thinking "Wouldn't that be funny if that happened to Morgan!Yuu and Grimm?"
Morgan!Yuu escaping their fate in Fairy Britain to Twisted Wonderland and with no Britain to return to and rule over, they try and seek out a new life, a new purpose in TW.
But unfortunately, as much as they want that wonderful, peaceful life, their terrible fate is just around the corner, heralded in the form of their little furry cat.
When Grimm overblots, he lashes out at Morgan!Yuu and fatally wounds them, screeching that "They never love us! They only used us. Only ever caring for themself!"
Morgan!Yuu can't find it in themself to hate Grimm, so they reach up and lovingly stroke his fur, "Ah Grimm, my lovely magician, your fur is the softest, most precious thing in all of Twisted Wonderland." And Grimm just snapping out of his blot Induced rage and starts begging Morgan!Yuu to forgive him.
STOP THIS NOW
I just think about the fact that the reason why Morgan died is because of Woodwose believing that Morgan was trying to help despite the fact that every piece of aid was being destroyed to set the calamities into motion. I think about te fact that Woodwose genuinely tried to make his clan more respectable than the base desires that plagued—the fact that he was striving to bring his clan away from violence and typical faerie behaviors and the fact that Morgan gave him that chance.
I think about how deep down Grim believes that he's indebted to Yuu—especially Morgan!Yuu. I think about how Grim wanting to be his own person and wanting to finally achieve his dreams despite being a small little monster, I think about the fact that Grim is so starved of affection and compassion that he believes that becoming a great magician will finally solve his problems.
I think about Morgan!Yuu and the desperation they have of wanting to continue living this wonderful dream despite knowing that the world is crumbling around them. I think about how Morgan!Yuu cradles Grim in their last moments because they want him to feel loved, even if just for a moment. I think about how Morgan!Yuu finally gets the chance to say they love someone without worrying that their kindness will be turned into a dagger....
