I read this tidbit and immediately went 'how close ARE squid and octopus phylogenetically?' And it turns out they're kinda close, but also. Vampire squids are closely related to octopods! Moreso than to other squids. That's neat!
Anyway.
The dungeon and its vast resources are really wasted on hack-n-slash adventurers. It feels like only Senshi really appreciates how much you can strip and use from such a large animal.

-Ah that incredibly relatable feeling when you want to get to one part of your story and you have to force yourself to slog through to get to it. It happens to us all.
-KIRI AND LO’AK GOING TO SPECIAL SCHOOL WHILE NETEYAM IS REGULAR IS SO FUNNY TO ME. Poor Lo’ak I’m being so mean to him. But you really want their asses GONE gone.
-Calling Jake a white man and saying he can’t understand their hair is so funny. Dude NEVER helped with ANY of his kids hair ever??? He’s never done Neytiri’s for her because he’s her bitch? Come on Jake, I expected more. Even I’ve done my cousins hair a few times. Maybe Spider will fare better?
-Obsessed with the way Neteyam is about his morning routine and solitude, it jives so well with my opinion of him. He’s got to have things his way, and under his control. Taken care of well. He’s going to have a field day with Spider. I see we are already leaning heavily into Neteyam’s "I can fix him" complex. Even when he wants to help Jake, which I know is something wheelchair users don’t often want if it’s something they do all the time themselves. It’s the innate feeling of standing by and doing nothing while watching someone struggle, when it’s their day to day life. And if that isn’t Neteyam’s whole thing? I’m obsessed with how he just cannot handle anyone else’s bad vibes without trying to fix it right away. Speaking of;
-If there is not a moment where Jake allows Neteyam to help him when he needs it, I will throw myself off a bridge, Andrei. ~growth~ the opportunity is there and it’s ripe.
-JAKE AND NETEYAM BANTER, I did not realize I was in a drought until I got a little bit of rain and I realized I was DYING OF THIRST. PARCHED FOR THEM.
-Jake “Detective” Sully: You are gay, son, try not to be too gay to the new foster kid you stalk at the local Micky Ds.
-I am literally obsessed with My Father Jake Sully who was neglected and hurt as a child being the most desperate man alive to connect with and heal kids in the same situation he was in. It fits so so well in his character for me. I feel like he spends most of his life trying to heal old wounds and make up for the past, in a way.
-Neteyam “I thought this kid was named Miles for years but I guess legally on his birth certificate it def must say Spider because it couldn’t be a nickname, that’s for sure” Sully
-I am CACKLING at them both lying to each other about McDonalds as though they both don’t know exactly how often the other one is there because they both find the other hot I’m dead.
-Spider mad at Norm for enforcing child labour laws has me wanting to make memes about it. The children truly do yearn for the mines.
-All the tiny little details of how Spider focuses on the people around him, on their moods and their movements and the way his brain works is so well done. That survival mindset takes years and years to unlearn, if you ever can fully. It’s well done as always.
-OH MY GOD EVEN NEYTIRI ALSO THINKS NETEYAM IS BEING TOO GAY THIS IS AMAZING.
-Justice for Jake, I will get him one of the cars paralyzed people can drive. Also his joke about driving Neytiri up the wall? HE’S A COMEDIAN. GET HIM A NETFLIX SPECIAL.
-Spider can’t look at Tuk because he was close with a little abused foster girl, where is the nearest bridge. NO REST FOR US, ANDREI?? ALL THE PAIN AND TRAUMA POSSIBLE CRAMMED INTO ONE EPIC.
-God the line about Spider’s therapist saying that his habit will lead him down a dangerous path, but he doesn’t understand why because he only ever hurts himself because he doesn’t see damage to himself as damage because he doesn’t see himself as worthy? Not worthy of the phone, of food, of attention or love? Truly my fav paragraph of the chapter. You are a master at establishing a character in a few subtle lines. It's a tactic that I only get after a few rewrites; instead of saying "Neteyam wants to fix everyone" you show us him in a situations where he wants to and can't help. Instead of telling me Spider doesn't care for his own safety, you tell me he's confused by his therapist saying his coping is dangerous. Instead of saying emotion, tell me something that would make me feel that emotion. Writing 101, and yet so hard to pull off properly.
-I laughed out loud at Neteyam trying not to look at Spider’s muscles I am dying. Neteyam should ask him out loud.
-EVEN TUK HAS IT ON LOCK, SHE SAYS NETEYAM HAS A THING FOR PEOPLE WHO SOUND A LITTLE SAD. This is so not funny but so funny because it’s all specifically for me.
-Neteyam later in life is like that dumbass gum commercial where the guy reveals he’s been keeping the gum wrappers every time the girl gives him one and drawing on them when and where she gave it to him? That’s Neteyam when the piles and piles of smiley face receipts fall out of his trench coat pockets.
-“I didn’t realize that was you” filthy liar. Spider’s smiley face drawing rizz is crazy. You bet your ass he wasn't doing that to every fuckers receipts.
-WHAT ON EARTH IS LO’AK DOING AT SMART PERSON SCHOOL, EVEN YOU DON’T KNOW ANDREI.
-THE CUTE BOY AT THE WINDOW ASKED FOR HIS NUMBER? AS IN, SPIDER, PHONELESS SPIDER, OR ANOTHER SNEAKY BASTARD BUTTING IN.
-Also these people have real memory problems, I’ve never forgotten any awkward interaction I’ve ever had in my entire life, especially not with a crush. I couldn't hear my crush at a party last year and I just laughed and said yeah and she was like "no I asked what you think" and not a single day goes by it doesn't play behind my eyelids like the DVD in The Ring. So, unless Spider has asked every single man at McDonalds out, he remembers when he asked a guy out and the guy sped off like he had a warrant out from Dominic Toretto.
-Oh my god, it was Spider. And this man sURVIVED that encounter? This man who can’t survive a strong breeze rn? What was he going to do with number, call him from phone booths? Send smoke signals to the write telephone wire? I am cackling at the idea that he had rehearsed this so many times and yet never actually thought through not having a phone.
-The smiley face on the paper. That revived Spider from his death post awkward encounter. There will be smiley faces on the invitations to their wedding and only Tuk will understand.

Things I hate in isekai manhwas that I'm going to change in my hopefully future webtoon someday:
The protagonist of a romance isekai must be a girl (nah as a female I've gotta say sometimes I need to see more isekai romance from a male pov, so my mc is a dude and I love my hilarious son very much)
They don't talk about the reincarnation/transmigration (on chapter 2, not doing that misunderstandings bullcrap)
The current fl and og fl / current ml and og ml must hate each other or the ogs are villains (they're all dumb besties all four of them, I don't know how that kingdom is surviving with them but by god if they aren't friendship goals)
There can't be girl/boy friendships without romantic subplot (the mc is besties with og fl and fl is childhood friends with og ml and none of the see each other romantically ever. In fact the mc has more chances with og ml than og fl)
The reincarnators/transmigrators don't make modern references (absolutely untrue. My mc and og fl are both from modern times and the webtoon will be filled with memes and modern references. Sorry not sorry)
The villainess doesn't act like a villainess when she's a romantic interest (my girl may not kill people but only because she's being held back by the other 3. The villainess can be a romantic interest, can be funny and kind, but she can also bring down an entire aristocrat family in cold blood because they were plotting against her)
One of them (usually mc or ml) is more powerful than the others (they all specialize in different fields of power and combat so there's no way of knowing who's more powerful. They just treat each other equally)
They're always straight (this may be because homophobia in Korea and most of Asia is very widespread tho there are some manhwas that discuss sexualities. I will talk about sexuality and gender in my webtoon and some of the characters are queer. Just because the main ships are girl x boy doesn't mean that they are automatically straight)
Never finding out why the transmigration/reincarnation happened (see that's super annoying for me. Why is this character so important that they were brought to this world? What were the circumstances? What's their connection? I'm leaving that for two of the biggest plot twists of the webtoon but they really tie up the story)
It's my dream to make a webtoon and I already have my OCs' character designs done and a general plot down but I'm not able to do it now since I'm not confident enough in my art, needs a lot of time and financial support. I hope to create it someday in the future

Has anyone else in bts has met their fs apart from v?
There were rumors yearssss ago that Jin was in a steady long term relationship with his gf and had been dating her for 5 years. If that was back in idk 2018 and if they are still together then I’m assuming they would be planning for marriage. I’ve noticed that Korean couples tend to date for a lot longer than other Western couples until they get married. A lot of my Korean friends have been in relationships for 5-6 years and still going without being engaged. It has to do with housing though. In korea, you put your entire mortgage cost in your deposit, so if your house was 2.5 million won, you would pay that upon buying. Then all you would have to worry about forever would be utility costs,etc. So most people live at home with their parents until they have saved enough to move out and buy their own place (think of any kdrama you have watched where the lead arrives home after a busy day at work and crawls into her bed at her parents house but then the next night goes on a date with her bf and he has to drop her back off at her parents house. Super awkward, especially when parents catch you making out like in Extradionary Attorney Woo.)
Joon did say that Jin’s house looks like a newlywed’s house 👀. Man is in his early 30’s and is a worldwide superstar. If he got married in secret, I wouldn’t be surprised. I would keep it a secret too. This fandom is so possessive and toxic.
But I don’t think he’s married. It would have gotten leaked. THEIR PASSPORTS HAVE GOTTEN LEAKED. Of course his marriage license would have too. Nah, he’s probably just shacked up with the love of his life. And good for him. He deserves it.
As for the other 6 members…This is all based on astrology and my own opinions. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT PULL TAROT CARDS ON THE MEMBERS. When you try to reach into another person’s energy, others can then reach into yours. Karma- what goes around comes around.
Yoongi- his aura has been so bright lately. I’ve been leaning towards maybe? He went through his Saturn Return and seems to really have found his purpose (making long term goals, etc.)
Namjoon- based off of Indigo, uh no. He’s still getting into karmic relationships. He needs to do some soul searching and self reflect. Like dude, ask yourself: why do you have like 10 songs all about fake love? WHY DO YOU KEEP REPEATING THE SAME PATTERN? It’s bound to repeat until you learn your lesson.
Jhope- idk honestly. He’s so protective of his energy, like a smart person should be. When asked if he would be getting a kiss for New Years, he had that great meme face of disgust. Was he disgusted at being asked such an intrusive question because it violated basic social norms and personal privacy or because he was disgusted at the thought of getting kissed by someone other than his sweetheart? (The answer is the 1st one. Media is too invasive.)
Jimin- ha no. Man’s has been burnt out and depressed for a while but everyone pretends they do not see. 95ers are also entering their Saturn Return year (welcome pal) so he is focusing on trying to survive an existential crisis

Jungkook- he likes to party and date around (I’m just the messenger. beef with the stars.) He is also superrrrr immature in love (uh perilla leave debate, anyone) so if he does find his fs, they have a lot of work on their hands putting up with not getting annoyed every day not even being able to have basic independence. TLDR: no. He needs to grow up and do some self reflection a La Namjoon. The virgos need to go on a meditation retreat together.

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
Either more visual novels, or a prose novel! I think that it’s nice to have a little time to puzzle out Pagemanteaus, and spoken media might go by a little too quickly for that. Also, unless you are literally Stupendium, putting Pages into a musical would be doomed to failure. The difficulty bar is absurdly high.
8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
I’m not a fan of questions like this! I think that unless it’s a genuine ethical issue like harassment, complaining about fandom creations is stirring up trouble and complaining about stuff that people make in their free time, for no pay, and often with no training. Also? The FL community tends to be pretty erudite and fun-loving. Everyone who memes on Pages gets the appeal! I always like seeing it, even if I’m too shy to interact sometimes.
So I guess instead, I’ll try to give advice? If you’re drawing Pages, I think that it’s fun to go exaggerated with the body language. Since you can’t see its face, most of the emotion will be stored in the pose. The other masters are better at acting spooky and stoic than Pages is. Pages is a fucking gremlin. ❤️
9. Could you be roommates with this character?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. My favorite characters are generally somewhat amoral and obnoxious, and Pages fits the bill for this. Let’s be real: Pages is a messy bitch who loves drama and canceling people for their problematic writing. Pages would take one look at a trans dude who writes weird smut with flawed characters and whoops I’m quickly dogpiled and in prison.
Pages is my worst nightmare but it is very fun to imagine a character (The Academic) who could survive it. Power fantasies come in all shapes and sizes.
21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?
I love writing pagemeanteaus. IRL I struggle to verbalize my thoughts often, and though I have a large vocabulary, I tend to get stuck when I can’t remember words. Sometimes simple ones. It’s very frustrating to stand there trying to talk with a brain that just stopped working. So I love that while writing, I can just bullshit words instead. Whenever I stumble I can just cramsert whatever makes sense into Pages’ speechandering style of speaking.
On the other hand, I have difficulty balancing how romantic to make Pages, with how antagonistic. I know that my characterization is much less brooding and mysterious than in canon (especially MotR. That one needs for Pages to represent the masters as a group for most of its plot, so it comes across as much more muted). I tend to lean on Pages’ depiction in Hearts Desire, which is lullingly affable, until the instant it’s not getting what it wants, whereupon it can be venomous. But I get the feeling that Pages really does like human romance, and its desires would be a little more mainstream than the curator fight-flirting I tend to write. If I were trying to write as canonically as possible, I’d tone that stuff down.
But sadly, I love antagonistic nemesis comedic pseudo-romances with blustery infodumping old guys, so you’re stuck with me writing Pages with a very low spooky and traditionally romantic stats. It’s autism and slapstick murder hours 24/7 in my house. ❤️

G: If you wrote a sequel to Straight Until Boiled: or, How Yondu Udonta Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Dick what would it be about?

Thinking about that fic is a blast from the past! I love that silly story. It's honestly my peak How They Got Together Kragdu Fic, complete with Kraglin assuming (like everyone else on the crew) that they're practically dating anyway, even if it's unspoken, because Yondu treats him like he's his BBFF, bestie-boyfriend-forever. Meanwhile, Yondu is like. Wait. I'm dating my XO????!?!?! And his panic at the mere thought of caring about someone other than himself accounts for 90% of the plot. He's so stupid (affectionate)
I think a sequel would have our boys settling into the rocks of their relationship, and Yondu realising that nothing has fundamentally changed. Literally the only difference is that they make out and fuck as well as spending every hour of every day together, bouncing ideas off each other, and making up stupid little injokes to torment (lovingly) a teenage Peter with.
The main plot of the sequel would probably revolve around a mutiny, because Vaas and Taserface are still very much there and very much nefarious. I want all the drama of the crew accusing Yondu of favouring Kraglin and Peter, and the fallout thereof!
During the mutiny, the Eclector crashes. The whole crew get marooned on a proverbial desert island planet, with LOTS of very dangerous hungry wildlife, and they all have to work together to survive...
I'd also love to bring the OG guardians back into it, because I need more Stakar and Aleta and Charlie and Martinex and co. in my life. So, there's a mutiny, shit hits the fan, the 99th faction crash-land on an uninhabited planet with no way back into space and everything devolves into infighting while desperately trying to stay alive... and then Stakar, who is keeping tabs and doesn't actually want his idiot blue child/ex dead, pretends to need to mine some precious ore from the planet's crust or whatever, so he has an excuse to check in.
Obviously, this turns into a heist plot where Yondu and the others try to steal his ship and maroon him instead.
I just think Stakar 'you broke all our hearts <3' Ogord and Kree Guy should be central characters too, to make Kraglin extra jealous. He's such a soft but prickly little dude, I love him!

Favourite moment: Discovering the dungeons in Cazador's palace. Idea for a story: I have a whole list of the fuckers, but one I've been tentatively noodling at is an AU where a god does, in fact, answer him. Namely, Lathander. By the time he meets the rest of the Tadfools, he's been a Cleric of Lathander for about a century, and, yes, is also a vampire spawn. It's okay he and Lathander have an understanding.
Unpopular opinion: He was a Sun Elf. I know they're rare I know he's almost certainly a Moon Elf based on his hair colour and living in Baldur's Gate but I will die on this hill that he was a freckled, gold-eyed Sun Elf for the tragedy, okay. Ties in with the above story idea, too. He just loves the sun 😭
Favourite relationship: I have five OTPs for this jerk. Five.
Favourite headcanon: He's going to discover a talent for creativity and crafting. Embroidery and making perfumes and fragrances, yes, but also he's going to get quite into sketching, origami, all sorts of stuff. Post-game, he'd totally have a craft room.
Wyll
First impression: Designated hero, probably would be the main character without a Tav/Durge.
Impression now: Designated hero, probably would be the main character without a Tav/Durge, complete with all the complexity and fucked-up-ness (positive) that implies <3 He's still very much A Hero but he's definitely more complicated than just A Hero.
Favourite moment: Meeting Karlach face to face and realising Mizora has deceived him. He knows he's going to have to defy her and he's goddamn terrified but he barely even hesitates to do the right thing and keep Karlach safe.
Idea for a story: Ooh man I have one bobbing around about Wyll seeing Astarion's scars and realising he recognises them. Inspiration for wanting to save people, versus the helplessness of being all of sixteen years old at the time.
Unpopular opinion: Honestly I still go back and forward between reconciling with his father. On the one hand, I like seeing them move on and heal. On the other hand, he was seventeen years old Ulder you absolute fuck.
Favourite relationship: With Karlach. Probably due to design since their stories are interwoven, but I love how they just go from like… him being dedicated to killing her, to being so ride or die for each other that Wyll is willing to go to the Hells for her - and that Karlach is willing to go back somewhere she's said she'd rather die to return to, solely because Wyll promises he'll be there with her 🥺
Favourite headcanon: While chatting idly to Volo in the Elfsong, he learns Volo has that prosthetic eye handy. After breaking the pact with Mizora, Wyll approaches Volo and asks if… maybe he could have it, and replaces the stone Sending Stone eye with the Ersatz Eye instead. It's a hell of a relief.
Shadowheart
First impression: The Mean Girl tbh
Impression now: She is baby. Let her grow night orchids and feed pocket mice.
Favourite moment: Reunion with her parents ;_; I goddamn cried. Let her make her own choice and she let them go; when I do a Shadowheart Origin run she's going to choose them to survive and will get so many hugs.
Idea for a story: Got a silly little slice of life thing about getting frustrated at her hair getting tangled so easily in the wilderness, and Halsin teaching her some herblore for hair care. Alternatively, swimming lessons!
Unpopular opinion: Not sure if it's unpopular, but I find her the most unlikeable character in act 1 and a lot of act 2. I know a lot of it is her upbringing, and there are moments of sweetness (like with the night orchid), but otherwise she just kind of annoys me.
Favourite relationship: With Lae'zel. They instantly and immediately clash. They're also extremely similar, in that they both grew up in cult-like surrounds led by dangerous figures, and have to learn to find their own paths after breaking away from those surrounds in absolutely heart-wrenching circumstances. I think once they realise that, they'll start to develop a ridiculously close bond.
Favourite headcanon: She tended to avoid the full moon just because of its association with Selune. The first time she intentionally sits and communes with the moon at night, it'll trigger her first transformation going Full Werewolf and she will be quite surprised.

first and foremost, for anyone non-chandler reading this, we need to establish that there are a lot of antisemitic stereotypes when it comes to vampire tropes. the greed, the lust, the seduction and immorality- all of these stereotypes have harmed the jewish community and, as we know, davey is jewish. it’s important to keep this in mind when moving forward.
when i think of david being a vampire, i don’t think he’s necessarily evil or a monster. i think he would be very low-key about it actually; he doesn’t draw attention to himself, he doesn’t like extravagance, he doesn’t live in the past- david’s philosophy is to change with the times and keep his head down. other vampires are very stuck in their ways, but i think since davey was turned when he was so young, being eternally 20 years old to him means that he needs to fit in with the current young adult generation.
like the tropes, though, he’s more of a nightdweller, BUT i don’t like the tropes that say vampires die in sunlight. personally i like it better when sunlight is just vaguely uncomfortable and unpleasant; davey prefers night time and has really sensitive skin.
ok chandler we already talked about this but: david always has his fangs out. they aren’t retractable. the thing is that humans will look at him, and they’ll see the fangs, but they won’t notice them. i like my vampires with a little bit of mind control so davey just,, controls everyone around him not to notice them, whether he realizes he’s doing it or not. he veils as a normal human but when humans look at him, they’re drawn in because something is off, something doesn’t feel right, something doesn’t make sense with him- but they can’t put their finger on it. it adds to the mystery that follows him around, though humans are naturally inclined to search for what’s different about david because they’re basically, on a biological level, prey.
speaking of the mind control: david survives on human blood! but he doesn’t kill his victims often. he uses the mind-control-mind-warp-whatever-you-want-to-call-it. none of his victims remember what happens. on the rare occasion he Does kill it’s only someone who 1) pisses him off really fucking bad or 2) someone who is a “bad person” by david’s moral standards.
i feel like davey would be a really good ghostwriter, so that’s how he provides for himself; writing all night, staying in all day unless he just wants to go out,, it’s a lonely life, but it’s not terrible. he specializes in historical fiction period pieces because he Knows the history and can provide a really authentic retelling with niche details that would otherwise need a lot of research.
as far as a vamp goes, he’s very fashion forward but still pedestrian. some of the others he knows would be the ones to wear full early-19th century garb in public, but if davey isn’t wearing jeans and a hoodie you’ll find him in trousers and sweaters. he’s just a very chill yet lightly academic dude.
mans has like 9 bachelors degrees because he knows how to manipulate the paperwork to get into universities with a new identity each time (and even if he didn’t, he could just mind-warp the registrar and boom! he’s in a degree plan). he just likes learning and if he’s gonna be on earth for a very long time he might as well make something of it
i really think that he’s kind of lonely. he has casual friends at [insert whatever university he’s conned himself into this time here] but nothing really,, substantial? so jack is the first and only human he meets who really has an affect on him romantically.

I am begging people to do any amount of research before jumping on the "this is what they took from us" train. OP found a photo of an object from olden-times, then Googled the dumbest modern analog and memed them right up without considering for a dang minute that the neat thing they found may have been:
- A unique, bespoke, or commissioned object. Common folk rarely have these. No one took this from us. We couldn't afford it then. Can't afford it's equivalent now.
- Part of a larger collaborative work like a private home, church, or public building. That fancy downspout or door took weeks to make, and was probably paid for with taxes or by rich patrons.
- A luxury item. You can still get fancy things. They cost a lot of money though.
- Extremely out of context. Average people did not have grand folding steamer trunks because most people could not travel for fun and when traveling, had to carry their own bags and keep them in smol rooms. These wondrous objects are often mad impractical and not fixtures of everyday life. They survive often because they are unusual examples.
- Fake. This is I need to expand on because it's fucking important.
People love to romanticize the past and will happily ignore the fact that a lot of history around objects, traditions, costumes, weapons, and places is almost entirely fictional, rooted in propaganda, pop culture, or racism. The original Statue Guys (usually dudes online with statue icons who never shut up about the superiority of times that are not now) were "scientists" who wondered if race-mixing was why people didn't look like Greek sculptures anymore, but wouldn't consider the idea that the ancients just liked having statues of hot people. People will cite the metallurgical perfection and lost art of the katana, and its critical importance in the history of a proud warrior culture without interrogating the fact that this history was written by or about a privileged minority within a strict social heirarchy. A class that you or me would have been statistically unlikely to be a part of. Like most revered artifacts, a lot of the information we have was written well after other technologies rendered them obsolete and elevated them to status symbols. That sword required expert handling because it was fragile enough to shatter. It was the weapon of an elite warrior because the warrior was a member of an elite social class and it was expensive and time-consuming to make. The most common weapons if its heyday were undeniably spears, bows, or guns, but the sword carries the story of the story of brave, individual warrior of exceptional status.
Old stuff is really cool. It's neat as hell. Unfortunately, the majority of people online holding up old-world craftsmanship as evidence that we have been robbed of our own wonders think the reason we don't still have nice things is race-mixing, environmental regulation, multiculturalism, or a Jewish conspiracy instead of say, Capitalism working tirelessly to sell you cheaper and cheaper things while perpetuating the idea that the Best Things are the things average people can't afford. Be skeptical. Research the things you think are neat and consider resources that are critical of the mythology. Seek context.
History can turn any object into a puppet, speaking the values of the people who collected it, bought it, sold it, dreamt about it more loudly than the reality of the world that created it.

THINKING: How to articulate the reality of how COVID spreads- you know, that it's NOT JUST DROPLETS/SPITTLE THAT INFECT YOU, that SARS-CoV-2 [the virus causing COVID-19] can remain suspended in these pretty much invisible tiny bits of moisture, floating like smoke/mist.
This is why it is not only important to mask, but that the mask covers your nose etc. and also why the filtration of indoor air and ventilation of shared spaces makes a difference.

“So long as I won’t lose my life through sparing his…” She mirrors Hanako’s pause, not for dramatic effect or to consider her words but merely because she could. Gesturing lazily with her hand, “I’ll allow it.”
And it’s a delicious thought; that Yorinobu’s survival is decided on her whim. Maybe if he knew that he wouldn’t have tried fucking her around, instead ordering Adam to kill her the moment he felt her gaze sharpen against his back.
One of the more recent additions to her playlist due to the fact I feel like I don't explore or put forward how truly cruel this woman can be.
I needed a little reminder of that and what better way than the theme from one of my favourite horror franchises. There's something about 2:23 onwards that really meshes with her; the potential for tragedy that builds into something decidedly not in that vein.
Call Me Cruella
Victoria hums, amused but there’s an edge to it. A sharp point aiming squarely at the man across the room. “He’s a nobody.” She hisses, venom finally curling around her tongue and dousing the words.
I refuse to watch the film this song is from but my goddd if there's a single song that suits Ms Victoria Crane near perfectly its this one; the sheer unapologetic nature of indulging in one's own awfulness and THRIVING for it. The threads of vanity and fashion throughout the lyrics are just perfect too, esp for my fashion-indulgent lil bitch tbh
Villain
Victoria’s violence is different, much different than hers and Adam’s; an insidious flow of insults off a barbed tongue, coated in a soft rasp that makes the horrid words pleasant to listen to. Different and bloodless, yet entrancing all the same.
While I adore Call Me Cruella and do consider it largely Victoria's 'song;' this was what I had playing constantly throughout all of her development. It was probably what had me lean into making her a corpo since I wasn't happy with her in the Street-kid origin, and just making her unapologetically a villain.

And she would never accuse him of being soft, even in his gentler moments there’s a risk of cutting herself against him. Both literally and not. But there’s something cautious to him now, a lightness to his touch, a hesitance that strikes her as odd.
“Adam?” She breathes out into the dark of the room, watching the barest glints of light shift against the edges of his frame. His optics brighten minutely, a barely-there flash of surprise and his hand pauses, knuckles gentle in their rest against her cheek.
and this is just purely there for self-indulgence. hozier just has me in a chokehold and there's something about this one of his that lowkey fits Victoria/Adam and the thing they both refuse to put a name to for the longest time.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) That really depends on how hard you're making it to get into your pants. Complements, small gifts, flattery, ect. He's bound to try almost everything at least once!
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) Do you like to party? Bring booze or blow and you're already on the right track to becoming good pals.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Ash really isn't one for the domestic stuff unless he's trying to get something he wants out of it. So if you do cuddle it probably won't be for long, and it'll be in a position that's advantageous for him more than you.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) *cue raucous laughter* Oh my god, no on all three accounts.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) Does cutting their head off count? As long as you're still a person when he dumps you, you have nothing to fear! It'll probably be through text... if he ever gets around to actually telling you.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Commitment is... a tricky subject for Ash. (It's not) Marriage is... somewhere in the future! (It's absolutely not) All he's got to do is find the right girl. (And the girl after her, and the girl after her, and the-)
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) Ash has almost zero emotional awareness until it's actually affecting him in some way. He can absolutely be gentle physically though. Especially while trying to woo a woman.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) Women pursuing him after the fact. (Or anyone pursuing him for any reason for that matter) He's not looking for long term relationships, just some fun here and there.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) The drunker he is the better he sleeps. There have been more than a few mornings someone's had to go find wherever he passed out and slap him awake so he can go help with chores.
