so i have a request 😭😭 imagine olden times gojo satoru x reader, reader comes from the lower class poor family and gojo is the higher rich class 🤩🤩 gojo and reader go to school together and gojo is rlly known and popular in school so reader gets curious and tries to talk/start a conversation with him!! then they become friends but they eventually both develop feelings for eachother 😭😭 but because of their differences they cant get together/love eachother and gojo's parents dont rlly support gojo marrying a poor girl and want him to marry someone with a high status!! (u can make gojo have a future arranged marriage if u want, i jus need an angsty fluff fic 😭)

note : i found this buried deep in the drafts !! :( i'm late but i wrote this in one go and it was so fun, i got so absorbed into the story... ugh i'm a sucker for olden day gojo stuff. one of my fav posts was that hanahaki gojo fic. anyways!! aaa i swooned a bit at the part he says "i will always find my way hom and she is my home" 🥹

content : one day at school, those six eyes catch you spying through the gap in the door, and from that moment on gojo satoru grows fascinated with you. he just has to introduce himself to you. he doesn't care about the whispers around him and just falls right in love. unfortunately, his parents frown upon you two being together, and they try their best to pry the two of you apart.

warnings : fem reader, angsty fluffy, misunderstandings, gojo gets put into an arranged marriage, forbidden romance trope

"gojo satoru...?" you question curiously.

your friend nods, starry-eyed. "you know, from the gojo clan? oh, he's so... he's just... you can't even envision how good-looking he is; you just have to see him with your own eyes. come on."

"alright..." you chuckle, letting her lead you down the corridors. she trips clumsily on the way.

the two of you peer into the senior student's class. you whisper under your breath to her, "which one is he? there's so many people in the room... and i can barely see."

"just search the room. you'll know him when you see him. he stands out." your friend whispers excitedly.

your eyes look searchingly. and then they land on a head of snow-white hair; there's a boy, two years your senior, sitting upright like a stick and clad in a blue-toned kimono with an endearingly simple pattern on it — but you're not fooled, that's the highest quality silk. a clan crest stares at you, as his back faces you.

You peer through this slit in the door.

you're staring at him like you're spellbound. and... those hyper-attentive six eyes catch onto you right away.

gojo curiously peers behind him over his shoulder. when you see his face, it immediately makes sense why your friend — like so many other girls in this school — is completely taken by him.

and he... he's taken by you, the instant the two of you make electric eye contact. you look away as if singed by spilled boiling tea.

gojo's heart thumps in his chest.

who was that, just now, peering through the slit in the door? she was...

"good-looking, isn't he?" your friend smugly nudges your shoulder as the two of you scamper away like mice, escaping outside.

gojo's class concludes moments after catching you spying through the slit in the shoji door, so he quickly makes a path to follow after you as you escape to the taiko bashi bridge with your friend as if you're two criminals.

and he ends up eavesdropping on your conversation at a prime moment.

"...he looked like an angel..." you say in awe. his heart flutters and he widens his eyes, straining his ears to hear more but the bush of flowers is fluttering so loudly in the wind that it makes it difficult. so much for six eyes... what he wishes he had right now is six ears.

he picks up fragments of your voice. it gives him... butterflies, for the first time he understands what it means to have butterflies in one's stomach.

"...ah, don't tease me...!"

he blinks his pretty eyes and listens to you.

"...i can't possibly introduce myself to him...he's not just my senior...he's the prodigal son of the gojo clan..."

his heart... does something. a smug look forms on his face.

well... if she can't find the courage to introduce herself to me, then i'll introduce myself to her.

and so he does. when his best friend accompanies him on a gliding exit walk along the bridge, he stops by you and...

he bows deeply, like you're a very important person. but you're not, you're a commoner in most eyes at this school... and yet he doesn't treat you as such. it even takes his best friend, suguru, by surprise because he knows satoru to usually be a bit pompous.

electric eye contact is made between you and satoru when the two of you rise from your greeting bows.

"have we met before?" he begins smoothly, "your face reminds me of a girl i met in a dream."

your throaty stutter endears him, but makes his best friend snicker.

"satoru... don't go around flirting with monkeys." he says meanly.

for the first time, satoru ignores something that his best friend says. a reality-shattering moment, really, suguru widens his eyes as satoru asks; "what's your name...?" as if he's desperate and determined to know it.

and that's where it all begins. on the taiko bashi bridge. one spring.

it doesn't take long for his parents to find out that he's conversing with a commoner, and they put a stop to it immediately. not only because of your status... but because they don't want him to be "distracted". he needs to keep a "narrow focus" on his studies. and... they refuse to let some commoner mingle romantically with their precious prodigal son.

girls snicker in secret about you. rumors spread that you forwardly introduced yourself to gojo.

"i heard that she chased after gojo-senpai and desperately tried to introduce herself to him. she's obsessed with him or something, it's really pathetic!"

speak of the devil... no no, he's an angel like you said... satoru appears. not a word slipped by him. it makes his blood surge, is stomach twist; they had some nerve. he wants to cuss them out, be improper and raw and visceral. but he refrains. because consequences.

"i'll have to correct you two," satoru's sudden appearance shocks them out of their bodies. that voice is chilling. "it was actually me who initiated that introduction on the bridge. she was too lovely to ignore..."

oh, satoru... why did you choose the word 'lovely'? now rumors begin to circulate the school that you two are dating. they rapidly make their way to his parent's ears, and while his father may be lax on his lectures, his mother is strict.

she parts the two of you. cleaves your budding friendship. rips the two of you like paper, refusing to let her son be tainted or distracted by someone like you.

but does he listen to his mother's orders to never speak to you? no. he sneaks out to meet you after school. he squeezes in through your window at night with a toothy grin. he secretly invites you to his birthday parties ("where has the birthday boy run off to...?"). he holds your hand when no one is looking.

and he cups your cheeks and leans in for forbidden little kisses when it's just you and him in the vacant school corridor.

your faces melt like butter against each other. it makes his heart lurch to have a forbidden fruit touching his lips like this... it makes him feel weak, which is just laughably ironic. so weak, that he wants to take a bite... even if it puts both the reputation of him and his family in jeopardy.

there's a sad twinge in his chest when he thinks about how you and him are forced to keep your love secret.

"i'm sorry that... i can't show off something as beautiful as you without getting the both of us in trouble. i wish we could kiss right in front of the whole world's face." he admits in a soft murmur.

it's simple, these sad times. but then the future comes and delivers despairing news on gojo.

one day, while having tea with his mom and dad, they tell him that a marriage between him and another woman is being considered.

he violently jumps up from the table. a teacup shatters on the floor.

"huh...?" his shock and surprise slowly morphs into pure anger, "like hell! you can't j-just spring this on me. i refuse to be married to anyone except y/n—"

"—that commoner? you... still speak with her?"

his face drops. oh, shit... now he's given it all away.

and what a consequence he faces. locked into his room, like some funny version of rapunzel. he paces around, mind racing and heart palpitating.

his contact with you is cut off in the most brutal of ways.

his mother comes to you, and tells you with a convincingly icy lie;

"gojo is too kind to tell you himself... so he asked me to inform you instead; he never wants you to see him again. his heart has found a wife, and he doesn't want you to seduce him away."

you remember choking up and sputtering broken sobs at this reveal.

he couldn't tell you from himself... ah... did those kisses mean nothing? am i the other woman?

gojo doesn't know why you avoid him so violently the next time he sees you at school.

"hey — wait. can i talk to you? it's important." he asks.

you give him a bitter look. "i'd rather we not. i don't fancy being the other woman in your life..."

you confuse him. and he blinks at you astoundedly. what caused this? he's a smart boy, he tries to figure it out. but it leads to long nights of brooding in his futon, body sinking deep into the plush until he feels like gravity is accelerating on him alone. but it's just his thoughts. he tosses and turns.

he doesn't give up his determination, though. he will find out what deterred you from him...

oh but when he figures it out, through suguru's admittance, he bursts in through his mother's tea ceremony one day and confronts her with the rage of a dragon. right in front of guests. completely embarrassing her.

"you told her! you lied to her? do you think you can keep us separate forever? — NO. I WILL ALWAYS FIND MY WAY BACK HOME. AND SHE IS MY HOME!"

his yell is so piercing and raw that it makes his mother drop into her seat. the guests have mixed looks.

the backlash he receives for lashing out and denouncing his arranged marriage is severe. the scowling looks he receives are not nearly as bad as the ones you receive. unkind words is putting it lightly; the whole village and school turns against you. they still view gojo as the star child of his clan, but now as a star that has strayed from its rightful place in the sky.

he meets with you in secret. what begins as a tearful explanation and angsty bunch of confessions to hidden truths, turns into a steamy make out.

gojo needs your kisses like he needs air, like he needs water, like he needs food. you're his essential, he tells you that;

"my vitals would fail if you left, as if i would be stabbed."

he mutters against your lips other things... and then cries with you. it hurts to see such a pretty boy cry.

"satoru..." you begin soothingly.

he presses his forehead against yours. tear drops roll off his cheeks and splatter against your face.

he draws out your name. the wind stills. there's a long silence.

"...run away with me..." he murmurs. "please, let's leave this place behind... and start a family somewhere no one knows our names."

Nobody asked but here are my top 5 fav Webtoon of all time. Yes they range a lot.

5. Spicy Mint- ONGOING- It’s a gay college slowburnwith a super cool artstyle. Amazing supporting cast, cute main couple, overall lovely. No spoilers but it gets pretty dark at times, and handles sensitive topics, so be sure to check the TWs.

4. Daybreak- ONGOING- completely adorable gay love story. Again, amazing art. It’s super chill and wholesome to read cuz there’s a pretty loose plot. Only complaint is that there’s some characters that are introduced and get forgotten about lol

3- Surviving Romance- COMPLETE- This girl is transported into a romance novel as the main character, lives here life for a while, but the day the main love interest is meant to confess his feelings everything goes horribly wrong. A great psychological horror/action(?) that has really intriguing things that tie in with the world being a huge novel. Will say, the end was a bit eh… but the major portion of the book is good.

2- Omniscient Reader- ONGOING - This online novel that the main guy was obsessed with comes to life, and he uses his expansive knowledge to survive the “scenarios” and manipulate the rules of the game. Just a super cool action drama, and I love how it feels so much like a video game. Perfect for oc creation, if you like that. Also, the story is apparently extremely long, so it’s going to take at least a year or two for the story to be completed 😭

1- Handjumper- ONGOING/ON HIATUS- Amazing superhero/action/thriller where high schoolers are tested for powers and sent to these programs to train them to work for the government, and they’re looked down upon a lot. The Webtoon has super good world building, dynamic characters, STUNNING art, and an impeccable protagonist. I can’t say too much else without spoilers, but there are so many mysteries that need to be solved and I NEED more content for it. Only problem is that there haven’t been any updates on when the next episode is coming out for… half a year.. so…

Also reminder that there is a global strike for Gaza occurring from January 21-28. Don’t go to school or work if you can. If you must, don’t buy anything. Don’t carry on business as normal. Also don’t say a word about how I’m bringing down the mood of my post and how this is irrelevant.

mary-beth is also a writer, so i think you'd get along well! i can see you two sitting under a tree at the edge of camp somewhere sharing your writing with one another. she is quite self depricating when it comes to her work, but i think she'd appreciate having someone to share it to before she starts publishing. especially if you encourage her to continue, no matter how "silly" her stories may be. she'll definitely return the favor, and i know she'd love anything you've written.

she'd definitely be interested in your art as well, and would be just as supportive of it as she would be of your poetry <3

i feel like mary-beth likes nature as well, probably not as much as you do, but she has a definite appreciation for it. i can see her joining you on walks outside of camp every now and then, chatting with you about anything and everything as you enjoy the scenery.

despite her past as a thief, she is very kind, and i feel like she's someone you would warm up to pretty quick. after getting to know her a bit and spending time with her, i think you'd get along very well :)

if mary-beth was alive during modern times she would absolutely be a hozier enjoyer. she's always reading romance novels and is most definitely a hopeless romantic, how could she not love hozier?? her favorite songs are i, carrion, would that i, shrike, and work song, she actually told me... and her fav album is most definitely wasteland, baby!

i wish she had more significant moments in the story.. i love her sm my sweet girl <33

as the local charlotte lover what is your opinion on the potential of camilla/charlotte

i think they could be really interesting! i think something that disappoints me, though its really just because of how supports work, is the lack of elaboration that comes when charlotte marries into nohrian royalty if she were to marry xander or leo in the base game? like feel free to correct me if im wrong but neither support really goes into her thoughts on nohrian nobility despite the fact she would be marrying the highest rankinng men in the country aside from like. a few lines. not a diss at either ship (i actually rly love charlotte/leo. not my fav but its good) but i think thats something that could be touched on instead with a potential support with camilla especially because of the four royals i feel like camilla would see where charlottes coming from the most? what with the sexism thats absolutely present in nohr (charlotte would not be Like That if that wasnt a thing!!!) and given her past with her siblings and her mom i think camilla could be really sympathetic to charlotte’s goals? maybe not entirely approve if only because in a way it can be kind of self destructive, especially since camilla’s probably seen it up close with her own mom (with her being garon’s concubine and fighting for his attention and everything), i think she’d be able to address charlotte’s romanticization of nohrian nobility and get her to be more cautious when it comes to that?

like i think that would be a really fun interaction between them, and if it moved onto romance (charlotte = cute girl… camilla likes cute girls… come on) well. seeing camilla being incredibly protective over would be adorable. even if charlotte wouldnt really need to hide anymore as the wife of a princess. also if one murder axe lady is hot, TWO could only intensify that. i like ur thinking is what this all means

I have two: the full playlist

and the "canon compliant" version -- which does NOT mean the songs support a canon-compliant interpretation, but that they were released before 2010. Canon timeline, you see, ignoring the 9/11 thing. (I'm a little more picky with this one in general.)

hi hi hi!! You just asked what's probably my favorite question ever and of course, I got carried away. I'm sorry if this is too long!

Surprisingly enough, none of the books I had to read at uni are my favorite 😅 Obviously, I had to read the classics (Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights...) and I'm not a very big fan of those. They also forced Shakespeare down my throat for a couple of years and I ended up having a love/hate relationship with his works and his persona lol (I love the town where he was born, tho, it's my favorite town in England). 🤍

I read a lot, and I read a lot of everything. If you ever see my bookshelf you will see stuff ranging from Nicholas Sparks' novels to Stephen King's works (he's one of my fav authors) to some really fucked up stories like We Need to Talk about Kevin or My Absolute Darling (I actually loved these last two).

If you ever want to know, I have a favorite book for every genre. But my absolute all time favorite books are The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, and The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (I literaly cry for days every time I read this one).

The Thirteenth Tale is, most of all, a Gothic novel, and I love all things Gothic. This is definitely my go-to comfort read at any time. It has many classic Gothic elements and it can be somewhat predictable at times, but I was not expecting the plot twist toward the end. I love it for its setting in an abandoned manor and a main character with a quiet nature, who adores books and stories, and is emotionally scarred from childhood trauma.

I would define The Time Traveler's Wife as a romance novel with magical realism, and totally heartbreaking. It's got a touch of sci-fi with the time traveling thing, but it's not exactly what you would expect. I really don't like sci-fi stories and I think one of the reasons why I fell in love with this one is because of the way the author deals with that in the book. To summarize, the story follows Henry and Clare as they navigate life while coping with Henry's genetic condition, which causes him to randomly time travel. The curious thing about his condition is that, when he time travels, he often finds himself meeting Clare at different stages of her life; when she's a little girl, then a teenager, and then when she's an adult and they're married. The first time I read this book, I was a teenager and I found it really beautiful, innovating, and sad. The second time, I had already experienced being in love, so I felt everything between Henry & Clare's relationship on a deeper level, and towards the end, the story gets so heartbreaking that I was crying for days on train journeys, at work, and at home (I have to say that I'm a very sensible person and a crybaby lol).

However, there's also one other book that I read when I was 14 or so called The Wishing Game by Patrick Redmond that I've loved ever since, but its somewhat controversial for me because I fell in love with the 'villain' and was supportive of all his crimes 🫣 I think the reason why I empathized with him was because I read the story while I was in my teenage years, in my glorious high school days, and as most of us, I didn't really fit it, and sometimes I felt really neglected and angry, so I guess it was sort of comforting to read about a boarding school where the bullies start mysteriously dying 😶‍🌫️

ooh can i ask what story the girl turning into the spider is from? it sounds sweet!

oh uh... it's sweet in the sense that, even though pretty much everything goes wrong, some things still go right?

Tavra (spider girl) is a very stoic, somewhat blunt and socially awkward, generally grim, only ever laughs bitterly but will gently stroke your cheek and remind you to keep moving forward main supporting character in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance YA books written by J.M. Lee. (mostly in the third one, tides of the dark crystal) (SPOILERS) She's... kinda like the older sister figure / adopted mom / eventual one half of fav OTP to the three point of view characters? Her whole thing is being ready to sacrifice herself and her happiness for the sake of saving people, enduring pain without flinching even while telling others to be careful, repeatedly almost dying and smiling about it....

....except that she really, really, REALLY wants to see her girlfriend again, too. Especially after kinda sorta dying and getting spider-ed.

Her uncharacteristic rashness and nervousness when showing herself to Onica- and Onica's zero hesitation to reach out to the small spider that sounds like Tavra- is the first clue these two are A Thing.

They've been a thing for a loooong while. A forbidden secret romance kinda thing.

Onica turns out to be outwardly the sun to Tavra's cloudy day, except she's actually still VERY angry at Mayrin (Tavra's mother) for being a jerk, and VERY bitter over how Mayrin treated Tavra over their relationship- and while Tavra tries making excuses for her mom the best she can come up with in the end is a damningly faint "that was a long time ago". Which. Well.

Anyway, up till now Tavra has always taken on the role the Experienced And Steady Advisor and Guardian to her new younger friends, but once she's back on Onica's ship (Onica is a single crew sailing ship captain able to dream of things happening far away have i mentioned that?) Tavra starts finally relaxing enough to show some of the stresses she's been under lately, even going off and 'mope' when her attempt at teaching one young friend how not to get killed with a sword goes badly.

(moping is described as Tavra "just being Tavra") (her kinda new little sister is the one saying this) (Tavra can be recognized in any form by her dower frown) (especially funny when Onica is constantly described as laughing and chuckling and wearing a mysterious smile)

So blah blah blah, Onica is a the good kind of terrifying and almost dies, Tavra saves her via the power of gay flashbacks with the help of their new number 1 shipper-

Then Onica's bestie, who is in huge awe of Tavra, tries to push a traumatized depressed disabled woman in the body of a spider into leading all their people in revolution bc she'd be ideal for it- and Onica very pointed says that you can't help others if you don't take time to help yourself before going off to presumably snuggle her sad spider gf.

The two are last seen in the books as Tavra's sorta adopted teen son Kylan-

(who turned her into a spider to save while committing murder despite generally being a pacific presumably bc of the trauma of watch his birth parents get snatched away by murders as a child)

-decides to look at some runes, and Tavra says she and Onica will stay with him.

So. Tavra never gets her old body back, and her mom is murdered, and part of her soul is drained and eaten, and her sisters probably think she's dead- but she also does not die. By the end of the story she is happy with the family she has found, and finally fulfilling her and Onica's promise to someday live their lives as one.

Oh did i mention there's a parallel between her and Onica's secret forbidden romance and the more tragic example that kicks of the whole story?

Did i mention Onica calls Tavra "my love"?

And Tavra was a swordswoman before becoming a spider?

I don't know if you wanted or needed all this info and I don't care, there will never be enough stuff about these two written but by gods i will take ever chance to scream about them

And that's how my arachnophobia was cured!!!

The Two Of Them Are Pretty Much Like This Vol. 2 Quick Review.

While I said in my previous review I wasn't rushing to pick up the second volume, I did in fact pick up the next volume very quickly after. I lied to the internet and myself, I can't help but enjoy a wholesome pair of adult ladies living a life together.

Wako's career starts to move forward and she learns about Yuri Bait from her two other co-leads on the anime she is voice acting for. Kyoko and Mirei become main stays of the cast for at least this volume with Kyoko's hidden feelings under the fake baiting becoming clear. It adds some more romantic drama and a second one sided romance with Ataru's pinning for Ellie ending up with them meeting.

This story does cut between different characters perspective from time to time mostly keeping their eyes on Ellie and Wako but going to the other sapphics around them. We also get to meet one of Ellie's fan girls, well a fan girl of one of the BL works she has made. The author is clearly trying to give us a sense of place and world despite this just being out world.

Wako and Ellie's relationship does get a bit more tension with Ellie in particularly clearly starting to feel insecure about Wako's affections for her. This minor drama doesn't stop the wholesome feeling and doesn't going into "just talk to each other" annoyance territory. This volumes addition of showing that these lesbians and sapphics have sex is nice and good, it's good to see something clearly aiming for wholesome not feeling the need to ignore the fact that these people have sex lives.

What I'd really like to see from future volumes is more exploring queer identity. I wanna hear like what does Ellie think about her own sexuality with Wako being the only woman she has ever been with and ever wanted to be with. Wako is a lesbian but she doesn't seem to have every attempted to jump into the culture despite living in the city. I'd love little dips into that but I'd be happy just exploring where these new characters go and keeping up Wako and Ellie's love. I really would love to see them work on a project together and the dynamics that presents for them. Given this is being created right now and we are going through a yuri renaissance I'd love to see one of them work on a yuri project and see how exploring sapphic stuff in their work feels for them.

Overall, unlike the first volume, I leave this one knowing I want to read Volume 3, I think it's really good, I love that the women are drawn to actually look like adults, rejecting the kinda moe style a lot of Yuri is drawn in. I love this series and it might be a nicer wholesome treat then one of my all times favs Kase-san.

i dont think many would actually know aine's... present because she's holed up in her house for so long... probably her relatives only know about her existence wiwiwi but! she's generally very shy and quiet, not very used to talking to others! but she tries her best to be sweet :3

irene is ... probably envied by many people! i mean she's part of a prestigious family and she's very pretty! she's not like most women of her age who can be pretty uptight (at least i think so...) - she's very humble about her wealth and doesnt go out of her way to shove how fortunate she is... its all because of her old past that she's very gentle and considerate :3

9. who are your self insert’s closest friends?

unfortunately as i've said earlier, poor baby aine doesnt have much friends, but she's very, very close and trusting of her gallade who acts as her best friend and guardian no matter where she is. she always finds comfort in gallade. but if i had to pick one person who would be her close friend, it would be erika - i think she'd help aine be more relaxed and less nervous about herself and sleepy times together LAFDKSLKFSKA. i wanna plug blake into the story as well, i can totally see him to be a big brother to aine and i picture blake to be more friendly! aine needs nice company, she needs it for sure ;; softcore version of color pallet trio . cold pallet trio if you will. bye

right off the bat, i just told myself "yes irene and emma are best friends" emma probably provides the best chamomile and irene looooves tea. they bond over that heheheh. maybe helena and tracy too! i have such soft spots for them and i really like them! irene definitely doesnt like nobles that much (i excuse reynold however. eheh). i would include naib, but i dont think it would work out? im just biased wiwiwi

aine has two "endings" on what happens when she sees him. one is the happy route where, yk, they get along, yadda yadda, romance, bonding, all that jazz. the second ending is... a little more unfortunate. basically she was a bit too late, because he's frostbitten now, and she regrets leaving her home and will probably stay at home more often now because the world is much more terrifying than she suspected. poor girl

irene is made with the purpose of wanting to ship with someone in the game yes - but the plot twist was that i was not actually crushing on no.rton at the time (he was just a fav) but found him to be a cute match with irene and i did just that. and then my dumbass fell for him shortly after HSAJKFHJAFHSFJSA im so doopid woawwww....

Kisara's Love For Priest Seto

So, I think it's pretty obvious to anyone who had read the manga or watched the anime that Kisara had strong feeling for Priest Seto. You don't exactly die for someone and protect their soul forever unless you really feel strongly about them (plus we know that Takahashi wanted to explore more of her and Priest Seto's relationship anyway so like).

But the question is, does Kisara KNOW of Priest Seto's feelings for her (Which are more obvious IMO?). Well, I'd say the answer depends on which version of the series you're talking about, and this answer depicted in my Modern Kisara's verse in general (this can of course change with plotting with others, nothing's set in stone) when she gets to learn about her past /get those feelings or memories will be dependent on if I'm writing in the anime or manga canons (which usually is what my partner is based on as I'm pretty flexible) I'm writing her for.

Anime:

Priest Seto's 'Confession Moment' as I like to call it here is something he says out loud and proudly to his father, even using the word 'love plainly'. It is something that Kisara fully is around for and hears, even reacting with one of the only genuine smiles we see of her this entire story. To me at least, she felt touched by it and 100% recipocated the feelings.

So, what this means is for Modern Kisara writing in the canon of the anime when she regains her memories / feeling of the past, she is aware of Priest Seto's feelings for her in return. Those feelings in this variation of the verse would be depicted with an air of tragedy, for the two of them never got to be together. If anything, it would increase her desire to find him again and be with him, which of course would make things complicated with our fav CEO Seto Kaiba.

Manga:

In the manga, Priest Seto's 'confession moment' not only happens internally (meaning no one but him heard it), but also after Kisara had already essentially died / was on her death bed. He did tell her to leave, to go to another land free of war, but that is something I don't think she'd interpret as romantic from his point of view (certainly that he cared about her but not necessarily romance). Though, the fact he did that, wanting to put her out of harms way / protect her once again, further solidified the feelings she had grown in her heart for him.

So, what this means is for Modern Kisara writing in the canon of the manga when she regains her memories / feeling of the past, she is not aware of Priest Seto's feelings for her in return. From her viewpoint, her feelings, while strong, are one-sided. I think it would make them more confusing and have her feel a bit more conflicted about them (constantly going back and forth with them) compared to the anime where there would not be any doubts. After all, strong feelings for someone are great, but if they didn't recipcate and the person they are now (AKA Priest Seto being reincarnated as Seto Kaiba) doesn't have them...is it worth holding onto them at all when they'll just cause you pain?

I think both versions overall have a lot of potential for exploration (especially in the angst category), and it's interesting how the differences between them affect this crucial aspect of Kisara so deeply. I'm excited to explore all the possibilities with you guys!

This girl needs some support for what she's going through cause getting memories that you died for your past love is a lot to deal with, recipocated feelings or otherwise.
